"Rebekah…please let me in." Caroline pleads. Suddenly the door to the study opens. The only room still spelled since Naomi passed. Caroline walks in and takes a seat, wanting to comfort her friend but not really knowing what to say. "Nik will kill him for his betrayal" she whispers while turning to face Caroline. Tears still running down her cheeks. "I love him." she adds. Caroline moves in closer and wraps her arms around her. "I know…I do too. So let's fight for him."
Rebekah lifts her head up and looks at her. "What do you mean?"
"Let's sneak out and find them." Caroline looks giving her a little smile. "You can do a locator spell and we can go and find them." Rebecca looks at Caroline "did you read his letter yet?"
"No… Stefan's like a brother to me. He stood by me and now I have to stand by him." Rebekah looks at Caroline and smiles. The first real smile she's let grace her face in an hour. Nodding her head. She gets up to go and gather her things.
Caroline smiles and walks out behind Rebekah only to be pulled back in the room by Elijah. "Caroline whatever your planning…Don't" he eyes her sternly. She scoffs at him and moves from his grasp. "I'm not planning anything" giving him a side look. Elijah knows she is planning something with Rebekah for Stefan's sake. He turns to leave her but not without warning. "Very well but do know your the most important thing in my brother's life. I trust that you and Rebekah will come back safely. Niklaus will not be pleased." Caroline looks at him as he turns the corner, disappearing into the kitchen. She knows he is right but she wants to help Rebekah and Stefan.

As she opens the door to her fuming wolf, who is standing with Lucien. Both looking out the window in the nursery as he cradles his son. Turning to greet her. "Did you calm Rebekah down, because he will die along with his brother." Klaus smirks seeing the worry in Caroline's eyes. "I have too much now. You, Lucien, our little girl." Caroline rest her head on his back, wrapping her arms around him tightly. "How do you know it's a girl?" she whispers. Klaus turns to face her and smiles. "I knew the night in the woods, when I smelled you. I wasn't for sure but the scent has never changed since then. I've been thinking of a name…Adora. It means gift, beloved." he chuckles a bit. "It fits our princess perfectly. Don't you think."
Caroline looks and smiles "I love it". Klaus bends down towards her stomach and kisses it. Lucien grabbing her shirt not wanting to let go. Placing his little hand on his mothers stomach. He repeats his father's actions and kisses, cooing and showing his dimples after. "See he likes it and already loves his sister." Klaus adds.
"Nik..please about Stefan. I…"
"NO…I want to talk about things that matter. Like you and Adora. Making sure that amulet doesn't take both your lives. Not deceitful, untrustworthy people." he demands. Caroline still tries to push the subject. After he lays Lucien down and heads out the door. "Please…just" she stumbles as the hybrid yells.
"Enough…I'm the alpha and what I say goes. You are my mate and you can't defy every choice I make. Your stubborn and I love that about you but you must know I'm doing all of this to keep us safe." He pauses turning back to Caroline as she stares at him. "They are not important right now. All he did was by them a couple months or years. But when this is over. They are the first on my list." he storms down the stairs. As Caroline thinks about her decision and how it will affect Klaus. Rebekah comes out of her room smiling. "Perfect timing, we can sneak out now. They are going into the study with Macon."
"Rebekah…I…can't. Nik is" Caroline is cut off by Rebekah.
"You promised me. I did the spell. I have the location, it's not far some seedy joint. Please…Caroline" she tilts her head. Looking at the blonde with lingering eyes. "Maybe we should read the letter before we go." Caroline adds. Rebekah scoffs at her and starts to walk down the hall. "Where are you going?" Caroline calls. As her heels turn the corner. Rebekah says nothing, she has to go find Stefan even if it means going by herself. Caroline looks at Lucien's door and then down at her stomach. As she exhales and runs after Rebekah. Already thinking she regrets her decision.

"That was easy, they love you." Rebekah smirks as her and Caroline drive down the road. Caroline looks out the window. "He'll kill them…we just signed their death warrants. That's not the kind of Lupa I wish to be." she mumbles turning to face Rebekah. As the smirk leaves her face, Rebekah pulls the car over. Turning the ignition and facing Caroline. "Hey…Stefan is family. Sure your their Lupa but were your family too. I would never let anything happen to you are my niece and nephew." Rebekah smiles as Caroline tries to figure out how she too knew the sex of the baby. "Nik has been calling her a girl, since you two came back." Both breaking a smile as Rebekah turns the car back on.
"Okay tell me what you know about this amulet. How it has attached itself to my unborn child and not Caroline's life." Klaus says looking at Macon. The werewolf feels the coldness in the room. As the hybrid looks to him. This is the first time Macon has really taken the time to see how much he resembles their father. He can see the pain behind his eyes. A man who at any minute is about the jump off the ledge. The fear of losing something he's always truly wanted…loved. "It will never harm her, she's the ruler of it's magic. Morgana set it up this way" he pauses. "All I recall is when she cast the enchantment upon it and removed the amulet my father took his last breath. She wore it for days before, draining him. He grew weaker as the days passed. On the night Mikael sought his vengeance. She finally removed it and my father was no more." The werewolf fell silent. Elijah suddenly felt the stare of his brother as he looked at him. Eyes pleading for the words he can not speak." Elijah nods as he turns to Macon "Will you help her?"
Macon turns to Elijah as he notices the look on Klaus' face. "I will…but only if he ask." Klaus brings both hands down on the desk making a loud bang. As he flashes in front of Macon and stares at him intensely. "You….will….not…make this about a Alpha thing. I do not submit to anything or anyone." Klaus seethes at his half sibling. "Is that so. You submit to her." Macon scoffs. Feeling the crack in his jaw the next minute as he regains himself to look at Klaus.
"Brother" Elijah commands.
"You have no idea the power she holds over you. The very fear that shows upon your face whenever she's near. Fear of losing her or your children. Our father wore that face as many Alphas do. It's natural…the wolf inside of you protecting your own. For your children are the upmost of importance to carry your blood. Hers as well. Naomi told you right. So if I am to fight and be willing to give my life for what my king holds dear. My Ulfric should ask me himself." Macon stood to face Klaus dead on. With the hybrid never breaking his stare. Klaus exhales "Will you help her?" He jaw tight from all the tension it holds as he waits for the Macon to answer.
"Yes…I'll go look through some of the spell books. See if something catches my eye." Macon turns on his heels and walks out of the study.
"He might be a problem" Klaus states will pouring another drink. Elijah smirks "or a perfect addition. We all seem to step on each other's toes. Plus I thought it would help you connect with that half of you." Klaus half smiles at his brother. Knowing Elijah does so much in the sake of his redemption. "A part that me and Rebekah could not give you. Should be good for the children. Having all of us here." Elijah finishes looking at his brother. "We all mush play our roles and Macon has a point. This is bigger than we expected. Every enemy we know of, will try and hurt Caroline."
"That's what scares me, Elijah. When they were just after me. The madness that came….I'm afraid because I feel it coming back stronger now. Caroline is stubborn and will do what she feels is best. I fear that will lead to her death or the children."

Caroline and Rebekah walk in the bar. Stefan is slumped over at the end of the bar looking pitiful. Caroline eyes the bar and does not see Damon or Elena. "Hey….where are they and we need to talk" Rebekah seethes. As she pulls Stefan up to face her. He turns and smiles a bit. "What are you talking about? I gave you my letter..I can't go off and have a drink? While you and your brother decide the fate of mine." He head falling down below his shoulders as she looks at him. "Wait…what." Rebekah pulls him back up slapping him hard in the face. The patrons of the bar looking for a second as Caroline wraps back near them. "Rebekah" he shouts. "Stefan…Elena and Damon are missing. We thought you had something to do with it. Since you had Levi give us the letters."
Stefan jumps down off the stool. Sober enough now to catch what Rebekah has told him. "No…I wrote them and told him to give them to you when he sees you all. I've been here at the bar for hours." Rebekah and Stefan both realizing at the same time. "Silas" they say on unison. Stefan looks back and just now is noticing Caroline. He panics "Rebekah you have to get Caroline back home. Klaus will kill us, if Silas took Damon and Elena. It's for a reason and that might be to lure someone out." He points to Caroline.
"Hello….I'm not a child. I can hear you. We'll just go back and explain it but first we should try and find them. Right?"
"No" Rebekah and Stefan answer.
"My bloody brother will put me in a coffin for eternity. Let's go." As they all head out towards the bar and get into the car. A creepy man in the back makes a phone call. "She was here. I could tell. Perfect to your description and full of so much life and power. They just left heading your way."

As they are driving along the road. Caroline is happy that they have Stefan. So glad he did not betray them as everyone thought. Stefan on the other hand is nervous because no one looked at his letters and now Caroline could be in danger. "Did anyone read the letters. I'm guessing no since you guys are here." Caroline whips her head back. "Stefan were okay. Rebekah is speeding and we're only 2 miles from the house." Stefan exhales "Caroline...you use Klaus' love sometimes against him. Don't underestimate who you tied your life to. He will lock us away, if something happens." Everyone knows good and well that Caroline would have bodyguard escorts if not Klaus himself. Especially since Lucien and this new pregnancy. He hardly lets Caroline out of his sight. Since they are bonded Caroline can feel it. His protectiveness, she would be lying to say it bothered her. As it does so many around them. Not knowing when anything they say or do could set the hybrid off. Caroline loved it, she felt safe. With the words of Stefan still on her mind. She knew he was telling the truth as she thinks back to what Elijah told her earlier. Has she gone to far, putting her life and their child's in danger. Rebekah looks at her and can feel her guilt. "Hey...were almost there" Rebekah says looking one more time at the blond she now calls sister. Caroline gives a slight smile, as her head turns back towards the road she screams. "Rebekah look out."
Suddenly there is a loud bang and the car flips two times. Rebekah is hanging out of the front window. Caroline yells as she tries to grab her hand. A large tree limb crashes through the side of the car. Breaking their connection. Caroline screams out in agony as the limb begins to break and the car tumbles again. Landing at the bottom of a small hill. Stefan opens his eyes. His vampire senses on full alert, he can hear a shallow heart beat. He slowly opens his eyes looking at Caroline who is bleeding badly from her chest. The limb went straight through close to her heart.
"Stefan….Stefan" she mumbles fighting to speak. "You have to find Rebekah" tears start to roll down her face. Stefan slowly begins to move, feeling that his body has healed. He grabs Caroline and pulls her out of the crumbled car. If they were human, their fate would be much different. Caroline pulls herself up and takes a seat along a tree. Stefan sees she is weak from losing blood. "Go…I'll be fine. I just need to rest. Find Rebekah" she begs. "Caroline…" he pleads. She just looks at him worried that who ever wanted to stop them has taken Rebekah. She pushes Stefan away from her and stands. "Okay…give me a minute. We are only a couple miles from the house. I'll run and you find her." She says while Stefan watches the wound heal.

Klaus and Elijah share a laugh. Elijah looks over at his brother as the smile fades. Klaus feels an uneasiness in his chest. Klaus focuses on the sounds in the house. "Where are Rebekah and Caroline?" Elijah look and shrugs his shoulders at him. "The last I saw of them. They had taken up residence in Rebekah's room. I warned Caroline not to do anything but"...
Klaus jumps to his feet. "No….they are not here. Caroline's in trouble. I feel it." Not long after the words cross his lips. Lucien begins to cry loudly. Klaus and Elijah rush out of the room. "Royce" Klaus yells. As the werewolf comes in. "Get some of the wolves and meet me at the gates…NOW" he orders. Royce goes to assemble the team. He turns towards his brother "You knew of this?" he seethes. As Elijah starts to walk towards him he grabs his neck. "Don't...something has happen and you knew they had some asinine plan. You should have warned me."
As Klaus enters his son's room. Liz is already there trying to soothe him. Nothings helping. "Have you seen her?" he ask. Liz nods her head. Klaus looks at his son and turns to leave the room. "Klaus…" Liz calls. He turns and sees the worry on Liz's face. "I'll find her."
"Rebekah's car is gone and this young man seen them leave." Elijah states. Looking at his brother. Klaus grabs his throat "did they tell you where they were going." The wolf struggles under his grasp. "No" he answers faintly. Klaus knocks him out cold, as his body falls to his feet. "Take him inside. This could be a lesson for everyone. When they don't follow the rules." They head out towards the woods. As Klaus follows her scent. He sends the others off in a radius around the area.

"Okay…I'm okay. Find her Stefan." Caroline pleads again with him. Stefan turns to face her and grabs her shoulders. "You run like you've never ran before Caroline. Don't stop okay. Not until you get to the house." She nods her head. He looks around and hears nothing. Both looking at each other they take off. Stefan heads back towards the road to find Rebekah. Caroline towards the house.
Caroline is running for her life. Vamping through the forest swiftly as she suddenly hears something. Feeling the leaves moves in a circle around her. She stops as she feels a gust behind her. As five vampire surround the blonde. Caroline closes her eyes and exhales.
Diego, Marcel's right hand steps forward. All of the vampire's almost turning rabid at the scent of her blood. Caroline looks down at her top, the blood is still fresh from the wound. As Diego comes closer, she freezes. "Look who's out of the house. Never thought Klaus would let his precious Caroline out." Caroline holds her head down, just thinking of how Klaus is going to react to this. Diego picks up on it…."Oh…the king has no idea his queen is out and about."
"Don't come any closer" Caroline pleads
"Why…you smell so tempting. I can see why he keeps you close. We have all heard the stories of your blood changing and something else too." He eyes her stomach as Caroline wraps her hands around her baby. Sadden by the fact that she has put her child in danger. "What do you say guys. Let's have a taste of what Klaus gets to have daily." Diego yells.
Klaus hears the vampires in the woods and smells Caroline. "Elijah I smell her blood." he mumbles. As they rush towards the noise.
"We should get her back to Marcel and Silas first" one of the vampires yells. Diego rounds Caroline slowly. "Let's have some fun first" he whispers. Suddenly his bones began to break, as he falls to his knees in pain. Caroline moves her hands and waves them. Casting the same fate on the others. "Told you not to get close" she smiles. While taking off further into the woods. Suddenly feeling a spark pain in her stomach. Caroline falls to her knees as the pain takes over her body. Looking down to see an arrow piecing her chest. She screams and pulls it out, wolfsbane and vervain pour into her system. They laced the arrows with both, for her and the baby. She rushes towards a small creek and hides there. Letting the water hit her top so the blood can wash off a bit. Tears start to run down her face as she scrubs her top. "Please forgive me she whispers. Holding her stomach, as she lifts her head a bit. Seeing if she hears anything. Suddenly she feels a pair of strong arms around her shoulder. As she fights the stranger, she stops once she smells him. "Nik" she calls. As their eyes meet, she can feel the tension leave his body but another emotion enters. Disappointment….she can feel it as he looks her over. "The arrows are laced with wolfsbane and vervain. Please…" Caroline is cut off by his growl. As he pulls her along the forest, Elijah looks on hoping his brother will control his anger.
As they get closer to the house Caroline see's Rebekah and Stefan. Caroline pulls Klaus crossing the back yard towards them. Klaus pulls Caroline quickly out of the way. With a growl still lingering in his throat as everyone looks. He is holding an arrow in his hand. He lifts it as he smells the liquid "wolfsbane." As they enter the entry of the house. Liz is standing on the steps with Lucien. As he reaches for his mother. Caroline pulling from Klaus' grip as she walks towards him. Grabbing him and hugging him tightly. Klaus looks up at her, she can feel his anger. As her head drops in guilt and shame. Klaus rolls his eyes and turns to his family.
He demands never blinking to make sure everyone knows he means business. Royce...the werewolves we discussed gather them in an hour." Elijah steps towards him "Brother we don't know how deep that bond will be to you or Caroline. Please wait on making the hybrids." Elijah begs. Klaus says nothing and scowls at him. "She has wolfsbane in her system Elijah, the amulet has turned black. You did not notice? I don't care. My child may be dead." Vamping upstairs, slamming the door to their bedroom. Everyone looking up towards the room, as they hear Lucien crying loudly.
Elijah grabs Rebekah as she heads up the stairs. She turns to him "It's my fault. She was just helping me. I don't want him to blame her." she faintly says. Placing her head down as Stefan comes and wraps his arms around her. As Liz stares at the door. Hoping her daughter will be safe from the hybrids wrath. They stare in fear, not knowing if the baby will make it.
Macon pulls Elijah aside with a slip of paper in his head. "I'll be back…there's another who could help. Naomi's friend, I found it in one of her books." Elijah nods as he leaves the house. As Macon opens the front door the wolves are walking up the driveway carrying three bodies.
"Hey…you might want to see this" he yells. Turning in the archway of the door towards Elijah, Rebekah and Stefan. As they all stand on the porch, Royce lowers the bodies. Stefan cringes at the site. Elena, Damon and Marcel hearts ripe out of their chest. Rebekah and Elijah look as each other. "This was Silas….he means war" Elijah says looking at the Macon. "Go get her quickly. We need everyone we can get."
Klaus looks at Caroline sitting on the bed, cradling Lucien as his little hands grab her stomach. Caroline has tears rolling down her face. She turns to look at her wolf. "Her heartbeat is slow. I think she's fading." she mumbles. Klaus has a blank expression on his face, he takes a seat near the fireplace. His head slumps below his shoulders. He suddenly picks up the table and shoves it across the room. He looks at Caroline and for the first time she is frighten. As his eyes glow with amber and the wolf starts to appear.
Alright sorry for the extra long wait you guys. I have been so busy with the site and KC magazine that it has taken a lot of my time. But we are nearing the end of this tale. With Silas making the first move getting prepared for the new moon. Silas needed the power so he took three lives. Elena, Damon and Marcel. Klaus and Caroline do not know that fate yet. Since they are dealing with the baby.
Caroline made a bad move this chapter but she wanted to keep Rebekah safe along with Stefan. Caroline has to learn she is not a supermom and deal with the fact that she will forever be a target. Because of who she is and who she is with. The next couple of chapters will have the family on full watch and survivor mode as they prepare for the showdown and battle with Silas. Klaus has let Caroline do her own thing but now that will change and the family is going to have to accept his methods of mayhem. Caroline will learn to control her magic with the amulet and help Rebekah out along the way. The Mikaelsons will be forever changed by the end of the next chapter.
Since there is a hiatus with the show now. I'm hoping to have the next chapter up in a week. Please read and review. Tell me what you think will happen and if the baby will make. To be honest I have two endings for this story. I have not decided if one yet. So your reviews will help.
