Watching with wide eyes as each one of them except for Miroku shot something at him Naraku threw all he had into the barrier he had up. "I won't die by your hands! I won't die by anyone's hands!"

Kagome watched as the kunai that Itachi threw hit his barrier, and with her purification fused in it with a tag, shattered his barrier.

Inuyasha watched as his windscar sliced through some of him, leaving some others. "We are going to do it!"

Kagome quickly went through her hand signs as Sango's Hiraikotsu sliced what was left in half. "Summoning!" Then she had the rest of the jewel. Lifting her arrow again, she aimed right for his heart. "I told you Naraku. You will die here!" She then let her arrow loose. A breath of relief when it hit its mark and he started screaming. Those were one set of screams she didn't mind hearing in the last.

But then she watched as cracks in his body started to form. He wasn't just going to turn to dust he was going to explode. "Take cover!"

She and Itachi were behind a large rock, Miroku had Sango on the ground behind a down tree. Inuyasha and Kirara were behind another rock. She looked out and watched as each crack started to light up even more. "This is it. It is really done. He is really going to die now."

Naraku screamed as the purification in that arrow spread through his body. But so long as one speck of dust remained, he would come back. He would be back and he would have his revenge on them! "Damn you!"

Then a large explosion rocked the ground they were on. Miroku looked up over the log to see the dust flying everywhere. "Not this time! Wind Tunnel!"

Once all the dust settled, Kagome looked up and then ran over to Miroku who held his hand closed now. "Miroku?"

Looking down at his closed hand he blinked. Slowly he started to open his fingers and then gasped as he shot them open. "We did it. We really did it." He then held his hand up for her to see. "It's gone."

Kagome smiled as she turned and threw her arms around Itachi. "We did it! We really did it!"

Hugging Miroku from the back Sango laughed. "We are now at last free. All of us."

Reaching up and taking her arm, Miroku flipped Sango around to sit before him and before she could say anything, one hand held her hand on his chest, and the other hand went to her face and he dipped his head searing her mouth with his own. After a moment he smiled at her. "Now we can be together."

"Right."

Kagome turned in Itachi's arms and saw the look on Inuyasha's face. "Inuyasha…."

"I want you to use the jewel on me Kagome. With that jutsu or whatever it is he uses you won't need the well to come and visit. I want you to use the jewel on me."

Kagome sighed. "I can't do it Inuyasha. The few times that your demon blood took over you went crazy and even tried to kill us."

With a sigh and a smile he shook his head side to side. "Not to make me a demon. That is to purify anything demonic to keep it pure. Purify it fully and let it turn to dust never to return by not turning me demon but human. I have lived long enough and unless I find another half demon, I will outlive whomever I end up with. Even my kids. I don't ant that."

Her eyes wide Kagome could just look at him odd. "Are you sure?"

"Yes."

Kagome then wiggled free of Itachi's arms and ran to Inuyasha hugging him. "Not right now but in a few days to a week. First thing I am going to do is seal the well so no one can come through at all ever. Then spend some time in my time. I will be back in about a week and we will do it then."

"Thank you Kagome."

"Inuyasha. What happened here?"

Everyone turned to see an angry Sesshomaru walking up with Rin in tow. Inuyasha sheathed tetsuaiga and sighed. "What happened here was we fought and defeated Naraku. He is dead and gone."

"Impossible."

Laughing as Itachi put his arm around her waist Kagome crossed her arms. "Use your nose then if you don't believe what we are saying to you. That should tell you that he isn't here anymore cause there is no scent."

"How?"

"I learned some new tricks. You were actually going to be part of our plan, a distraction for us but you showed up late. Way late." Kagome then turned and headed back toward the others from Itachi's time.

"Foolish." Sesshomaru then turned and started to walk away from them all. There was no way he was going to believe that a half demons and a bunch of humans were able to best Naraku.

"So that's it then?"

Turning to see Sasuke walking up to him as Kagome and the girls talked he nodded. "The Akatsuki?"

"Soon as he lost the jewel he had, their shards left them as well. It would seem he already managed to kill them and was just using them like a hollow shell to do his bidding." Sasuke then looked at Sakura. "You know that Sakura and I are going to get married right?"

"I figured with the way she was with Kagome when you got here." Itachi crossed his arms. "We will be there."

"You both will be in it."

"I don't mind."

With a sigh as he dropped his head then looked back at his brother Sasuke had to ask. "Hey Itachi. What happened to Shisui for real? I know that Danzo took one eye and he got away. But that is it."

"Danzo's Foundation Anbu went after him and nearly got him. He used his Susan'nou and then I showed up. I was supposed to be on a mission but something didn't feel right. We were planning on trying to stop the coup that the clan was planning on the Leaf. He took his other eye, killing himself and giving it to me. That was how I got my mongekyo."

"I see. So it wasn't true. You didn't use him and then kill him just because you wanted power."

"No." Itachi then smiled as he poked his forehead. "I will tell you the story in detail some other time Sasuke." Then he headed toward his wife. Once reaching her he put his arm around her waist.

Looking up at him Kagome smiled as she pulled her hair down from her ponytail. "Well it seems that everything is turning out right for everyone."

"Indeed."

"Kagome….."

Turning to Sango as she came up next to her Kagome hugged her. "It is alright. We are staying here for a night or two then going home for a few nights. I have a few things to do on this side before that too with the jewel."

Looking up Naruto blinked as he made his way to Kagome. "Hey can I see it? I want to see if it really looks like Shion's bell."

Laughing as she pulled the full jewel and the source of all her heartache out of her shirt. At times she wished the thing never existed but then she wouldn't be where she was today. She wouldn't have the friends in either time she does and she wouldn't have her husband. "This is it."

Blinking he looked at it with wide eyes. "Except that hers sounds like a bell it is exactly the same. Unreal."

"Let's go. We all need to get back. The more we linger here in these numbers the more we disturb the time line even further." Sasuke and Itachi fist bumped then he went through the signs and the portal opened. Letting everyone else go through first he turned and looked back at his brother and Kagome. "Well see ya soon."

"Right."

Once they were through the portal, Kagome looked up at him odd and let her head fall to the side. "We will?"

"Yes. For a wedding."

Nodding she laughed. "Sasuke and Sakura then huh."

"That's right."

Kissing his cheek she smiled. "That is great. But come on let's get Kohaku and Shippo out of the barrier and then get back to Kaede's so I can just sit and do nothing for a while. I don't feel all that great all of the sudden."
