"James! James!" Harry mumbled, shaking his son's shoulder.

"Go away!" James groaned turning over.

"James, it's time to get up! Dominique is home from Hogwarts today. Come on everyone's up!" Harry persisted.

At the word Dominique, James was out of bed and at his wardrobe. Harry smirked at his son's reaction and left him to change. By the time Harry reached the living room, James was already thundering down the stairs.

"Ready! Ready! Let's go people!" James declared, swinging Clarissa round and round before putting her on his back.

"I wanna be picked up!" Louisa complained, Harry smirked and obliged.

"Do you want to a piggy back?" Sirius asked Aurora.

Nodding shyly, Aurora allowed herself to be picked up by her brother and carried out of the house. Lily took her mother's hand and the family began the pleasant but rather long walk to Sea View cottage.

On such a lovely morning, Hermione often liked to walk with the family and truly appreciate how lucky she was to have such a loving husband and such wonderful kids. Harry also liked to spend as much time with the children as possible. However, with a heavy Auror's work load and 6 children to juggle could be very trying to say the least. Even so, nothing pleased Harry more than to see the children running around and playing together- however mischievous they were being.

As soon as they arrived at 'Sea View' James received a huge hug from Dominique.

"Oh James! I've missed you loads! I've so much to tell you! You'll love Hogwarts! It's just so amazing!" Dominique rambled.

"I've missed you too, Dom. Life has been terribly boring at school without you." James grinned sheepishly.

Harry, Hermione, Bill and Fleur all exchanged smirks before leading the children into the living room where the other guests were already sitting.

"Sorry we're late, Fleur. We decided to walk." Hermione smiled, kissing her friend's cheeks.

"No problem. Of course it ees a lovely day today. I should imageene that they kiddies will be in zee garden in no time." Fleur chuckled, summoning another few chairs.

In the corner of the room Teddy and Victorie were speaking enthusiastically, though in hushed voices.

"If your James and my Teddy don't get the Weasley girls, I'll eat my hat!" Dora whispered into her sister's ear. Remus, who's wolf hearing allowed him to hear this snickered. Teddy also heard this and blushed furiously before letting Victorie lead him off to her room.

Just as Fleur had predicted, the children were out rampaging in the garden within minutes, leaving the adults to their conversations.

"So Billy, what's it like having your little girl off at school?" George asked flopping down next to each other.

"It was awful at first. I kept going to check she was doing her homework, or going to ask her to join us in the garden for a water fight, Fleur even called her for dinner once. But you get used to it, like it or not, I know that she will be having the time of her life at Hogwarts. I know I did." Bill admitted.

"It's been weird for me having Vic and Lou but not Dom at weekends, I cant imagine what it must be like for you, mate." Fred sighed. "Has she made friends yet?"

"Yes, there's a little gaggle of them." Bill smiled proudly. "I met them on the platform, picking Dom up, and they are coming over for the weekend after boxing day."

"Anyone we know?" George asked, taking a swig of his butter beer.

"Laura-Lee is Terry and Lisa's girl, Dania is Colin and a lady called Anastasia's daughter, Rosalie is Cedric and Cho's daughter and Matilda-Mai is Ewan and Romilda's little girl" Bill informed them.

"Sound's a good bunch. No Slytherin's then, still greasy gits?" Fred muttered.

"Afraid so, and even if their not, they're bullied into not talking to a Gryffindor. Dominique was actually hexed by a fifth year for trying to make friends with one timid Slytherin girl…. Erm…. Janaga I think her name was Loraella."

"She was hexed for making friends?" George gasped.

"Not badly, just a stinging hex the first time and a bat bogey hex the second time." Bill said sadly. "I'm so proud of her though. She may be stubborn as a bull, but she fights for equality already."

"She's a great kid, Bill." Charlie agreed. "I hope my girls are just like yours."

"Thanks, Charlie." Bill muttered.

"Daddy! Would it be ok if I sent a letter to my friends with your owl later?" Dominique asked sweetly skipping over to her uncles.

"Of course you can, Sweetheart. Aria seems to like you more anyway." Bill chuckled. Dominique kissed him on the cheek quickly before smiling brightly at her uncles.

"Come on Dom! I wanna hear more about Minnie at school!" James complained, running in, grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the room with him.

"I'm coming James!" she giggled running off with him.

"I theenk it ees lovely for zee children to av such great cousins, don't you?" Fleur beamed.

"Yes, it's nice for them to have playmates in and out of school." Charlie agreed.

"I'm just glad I have a few more years with all of my children before James goes off to Hogwarts. I'll be in pieces!" Hermione confessed.

"I was, but eet gets better. Eet is so nice to see er making friends with new leetle girls and learning new theengs." Fleur told her honestly.

"She's having a great time too! I've received loads of letters!" George grinned.

"Me too!" Fred smirked, pulling out a large wedge of papers from his pocket.

"Oh! I av just remembered." Fleur exclaimed. "I av not told you are beeg news! My leetle seestur Gabrielle is getteeng married! Ee is a French ministry worker. Very sweet. And she ees having a baby! A surprise it will be, she is two weeks."

"How lovely!" Hermione smiled fondly. "Do pass on our congratulations to Gabrielle."

"I av no need! You are all eenvited ov course! Eet is in 4 weeks." Fleur announced.

"Excellent! It's an excuse for a dress shopping trip!" Dora laughed.

"Like you need one!" Remus snorted.

"Special occasions call for special measures!" Hermione declared. "We shall drag you both kicking and screaming! The kids too!"

Harry and Remus shared a collective groan.

"And don't you two think you're getting out of it!" Katie and Angelina told Fred and George severely.

"I haven't got a girl to tell me off!" Charlie teased.

"All the more reason for you to come with us!" Dora sniggered and Charlie's face formed that of horror.

"Ha ha! Sorry Charlie no escaping torture for you!" Harry taunted mock-evilly.

Charlie stuck his tongue out childishly at Harry and everyone laughed at their immaturity.

Just then Clarissa, Louisa, Aurora, Summer and Skye all skipped in and launched themselves onto their parent(s) laps.

"Daddy, We're hungry!" Summer and Skye complained.

"Time for lunch then." Bill decided, jumping up and setting the table.

Soon after a filling lunch, the Potters and Lupins flooed to Potter Manor where Dobby, Winky and Miffy promptly took the children out to the local park (the elves under the cloak); leaving the parents to coffee and tea.

"I can't believe little Gabrielle is having a baby." Hermione sighed falling into a chair.

"Me neither." Dora admitted. "it seemed only a few years ago she came to the tournament aged eleven…. Dominique's age now… blimey!"

"Where have the years gone?" Remus asked in surprise.

"I don't know! Time really has flown!" Harry mumble, laying his head on Hermione's shoulder. "And you've still got that bloody cat, Hermione."

"You love Crookshanks just as much as I love Hedwig. Don't deny it, he's lovely." Hermione protested.

"He's lovely natured, but with a face like it was sat on!" Dora sniggered.

"Oh shut up Dora! Hermione huffed, silencing her with a charm.
