You're the one for me.

I wanted to give Deeks a fun way to make up for their first fight.

Deeks sat on his couch a now warm beer in his hand. This totally sucked, he missed Kensi. Deeks looked at the clock and sighed. 11 pm. He was never going to make it.

Across town Kensi sat on her couch tub of ice cream in her lap. She was watching Next Top Model from her DVR. Out of habit she reached out to smack Deeks pointing out how stupid the one model was. Her hand hit the couch instead of her partner. Kensi looked at the empty spot and sighed. She got up and put the ice cream back in the freezer. She missed him so much.

Deeks couldn't take it anymore. He had to do something to make Kensi understand how much she meant to him. He grabbed his guitar and hopped into his car. She was most likely going to kill him but he didn't care.

Kensi sat on her couch once more looking at photos of Deeks on her phone. She laughed at a bunch of them, sighed at some and felt her heart speed up at most of them.

A loud noise outside caused Kensi to get up and go look. Standing there on her front walk was Deeks guitar in hand and a bunch of roses sitting at his feet. As soon as Kensi opened the door Deeks started to sing.

"You're the one for me they say you know it from the first kiss and I believe it cause I've never felt like this, four leaf clover lucky where did we go right. And you got lips I can't pretend I won't remember all my life."

Kensi shook her head at his very off key voice. How the hell did he sing lead for a band in high school?

"You're the one for me, it doesn't get better, can't I still believe even though we said we're taking it slow, see where it goes, I already know if you're asking, you're the one for me, you're the one for me babe."

Kensi had to laugh now as several people who were walking down the street stopped to watch. Deeks only smiled at her and kept going.

"Girl I'm good but I can't read your mind, but I'm seeing all these things between the lines. Is it possible that's what you mean to do, cause I just can't believe it's only me, I know you feel it too."

"You're the one for me, it doesn't get better, can't I still believe even though we said we're taking it slow, see where it goes, I already know if you're asking, you're the one for me, you're the one for me babe."

Kensi felt herself blush. Deeks was saying more with this one song about how he felt then he had at any time in their relationship.

"You bite your lip when you're nervous, we'll probably both get hurt if only one of us is saying what we're feeling darling. Don't wanna fall down in pieces, just wanna fall to my knees and let you know when you're ready,"

Kensi held her breath waiting to see what he would say next.

"You're the one for me, it doesn't get better, can't I still believe even though we said we're taking it slow, see where it goes, I already know if you're asking, you're the one for me, you're the one for me babe."

Deeks stopped and just smiled at Kensi. On the street the people who stopped to watch started applauding him and cheering. Kensi turned even redder. Deeks tilted his head at her and gave her the same look that he gave her that night at the restaurant.

Kensi grabbed his arm and pulled him into the house.

"Deeks are you crazy?"

"Only about you Princess."

"This was supposed to be our night off."

"Yeah about that." Deeks ran a hand thru his hair. "I missed you too much."

"We're supposed to be taking things slow."

"Don't want to." Kensi laid the flowers down on the counter long enough to find a vase. Deeks laid his guitar near the couch and went to trap Kensi against the counter with his body. "I don't want to go slow."

"What do you really want Deeks?" asked Kensi not sure she wanted the answer.

"You in my arms every night when I fall asleep and you in my arms every morning when I wake up."

"So no nights apart?"

"Nope." Deeks started kissing her neck and shoulder. "I was thinking more like evenings apart or mornings apart or afternoons apart but not the nights. The nights I need you next to me."

Kensi shook slightly. She managed to get the flowers into the vase and add the water.

"Ok."

"Ok just like that?"

"Yeah just like that."

"So how about we move in together?"

Kensi gasped and shook her head.

"Ok." Deeks backed off thinking that the head shake meant no.

Kensi turned around and pulled him to her.

"Do you want to move in here or should we find a new place?"

Deeks looked into her eyes and smiled. "How about I move in here and we can look for a place that's bigger with a yard for Monty."

"Sounds good." Whispered Kensi. Deeks leaned in and kissed her deeply.

"I love you Kensi."

"I love you too Deeks."

They walked hand in hand to the bedroom. Deeks started singing again.

"You're the one for me, it doesn't get better, can't I still believe even though we said we're taking it slow, see where it goes, I already know if you're asking, you're the one for me, you're the one for me babe."
