The waves washed back and forth in rhythm against the sandy island shrouded in the darkness of night, the light from the cities in the distance illuminated the darkness in a yellow hue.

A teenage girl sat on the sandy beach with her arms around her knees with her long blonde hair shadowing her face, outside the small pink house. She wore black legging with a pair of white/pink converse and a pink crop-top.

Marron sobbed, sniffled before she lifted her head. Her eyes were red and her pale cheeks were puffy her long blond hair messy. She checked her phone, ten messages, Darren; she sighed and turned her phone off.

"I can't do this..." Marron said, glancing at her hands illuminating red particles and with a gasp she tensed her fists and the lights disappeared. "Why is this happening to me? It's gotta stop!" She shouted silently. "If someone see's me they'll report me to the Red Ribbon Revolutionary."

Marron sighed, dropping her head into her knees and sobbed.

She had the worst luck.

Avenger Saga:
37. Curtain Call

The following morning after the events on Kaiolore...

Silence fell in the chapel of the Guardian's Lookout. Various embroidery pattered cloths fell down from the white roof, reflecting the white light from the candle chandelier. Dende, Popo and Gohan who was dressed in a black suit and tie with a black band around his only arm. In front of them was the altar, candles and pictures of the deceased Namekian race within their silver photo frames made to symbolise the Eternal Dragon Porunga coiled around the photos.

The three had just finished their speech about their lost friend, Piccolo.

Sitting on the wooden pews were Goku, Chi-Chi, Goten, Uub, Buu, Hercule, Videl, Pan, Yamcha, Krillin wearing a black eye-patch over his left eye sitting next to Tien, Eighteen, Marron, Roshi, Trunks, Bra, Bulma and Vegeta who was covered in wrinkles with grey hair.

Many had been in a mixture of awe and shock. It had come at a huge surprise to see the once youthful Vegeta who hadn't looked a day older since the day he first came to Earth all those decades ago, now aged: covered in wrinkles, grey/black flame shaped hair. It reflected their own youths; Bulma and Chi-Chi also looked noticeably older, they had finally accepted their mortality and vowed never to take the Saiya-Pills again to grow old with their Saiyan husbands.

Gohan turned to look at the large picture of Piccolo behind him. He breathed, he had accepted Piccolo's sacrifice now that Kibitoshin and the Elder Dai had explained everything. But, according to the Elder Dai there were still Shadow Dragons out there...more, plotting in the darkness. Though Piccolo had apparently saved the Universe from the revival of their leader the fact still remained...

The Shadow Dragons were still out there; somewhere, but where? Gohan bowed his head, pondering.

'I will become your avenger, Piccolo. I promise.'

His fists tightened.

Elsewhere...Satan City – King Furry's Castle

The surge of metallic roar ran across the city of Satan, sky-top building edged around the new reservoir with the long metallic bridge It was hard to notice, but thanks to the Planet Alliance Organisation's refurbishment over the Earth, the deep one-hundred mile crater created from Uub's and Prince Baby's battle a year ago had been filled with water and the bridge linking the two parts of the city named 'Fallen Lane' a memorial for the fallen earthlings.

A few miles away from the reservoir resided King Furry's castle surrounded by the city and gossiping civilians.

It remained the same, almost untouched from the events of the Tuffle reign.

Still the same old white semi spherical castle with the large spiked tower protruding out from the centre, which was decorated with an array of windows with blue and yellow striped decorations and balconies around it. Surrounding the castles green bush and tree courtyard were the seven smaller towers coated in orange with their blue spike tops.

Inside the castle, through the many twisting corridors, resided the meeting chamber. A red walled room with many sculptured statues and other decorations, surrounding many photos, one being the seven mystical Dragon Balls and another photo of a humanoid monkey looking figure with a bare face holding a staff.

In the centre of the room over the polished wooden flooring was the board room table with six places, the wall on the right being entirely reinforced glass looking over the green and brick paved courtyard and Satan City below with the Fallen Bridge in the distance.

And sitting on the far end of the table staring through the window was a man with a ginger quiff. Jero Ribbon sighed tapping his pale hand against the wooden table; his freckled face glimmered against the light as he adjusted his tweed jacket and bowtie. Three others were there and he knew one agent, a woman, Aprilotine, she had ginger hair, wrinkled chubby face with brown eyes, a thick blue military trench coat with a red necklass an emblem at the base, alongside the suited man was the King's adviser, whilst the last one, another woman, Jero didn't recognise but indicated as a secretary that would be taking the minutes of this meeting.

Then Jero inclined his head when the golden duo doors at the opposite end of the room opened and King furry, between two armoured military guards, stepped inside positioning themselves on either side of the door.

The small three-foot blue/grey dog humanoid slowly walked towards the table, his breath wheezy, leaning on his cane before he climbed onto his chair next to his advisor. He wore a blue suit with a red tie, his fur mostly grey mixed with strands of blue with his long moustache dropping down to his thighs. King Furry was very old now, he was thought to have been dead during Prince Baby's reign, but had managed to escape with his men to a secret underground bunker in the west. He licked his dry lips. "Please, pardon my lateness. You may begin, Jero."

Jero Ribbon patted the table and looked everyone in the eyes earning their silence. "You all should be aware of the recent terrorist strike upon the Tidal Airport in South City. However, I'm afraid to tell you that this is not the truth." He shifted his hands around as he spoke. "You see...the actuality of the incident was an attack made by that of one the Impulse's."

The group's attention perked.

"The damage was pretty excessive. A good four-thousand people were killed with another thousand or so remaining critically injured." Jero pulled his red bowtie. "However, I can ensure you my team managed to apprehend her."

"You seem unfazed by such a devastating incident..." The Kings Advisor, Anchoovies sneered. "And all that money we are funding to your cause fading away..."

Jero smile slightly about to retort but the King raised his hand. "Given these current circumstances with the Impulse's, I believe Jero's company department did all they could and minimised the damages that could have occurred without them. Therefore there should be no reprimand."

"Yes, King." Anchoovies nodded, before casting his sight to the table.

"Thank you for understanding, sire." Jero said, shooting a grin at Anchoovies. "Ever since the end of the whole Tuffle invasion, these Impulse's have arrived left, right and centre, causing havoc and whatnot with still no explanation from my team at Device Co or Capsule Corporation of where they got their abilities... Though I can ensure you my team is doing a fantastic job in tackling them." He said, glancing at everyone who nodded. "Now I raise my point from the last meeting." He locked his blue eyes onto King Furry's. "Have you considered giving me my authorisation to take down the Warriors?"

"I have...and I still remain firm on denying you." King Furry lowered his brow, clasping his hands together on the table. "I want it understood; we do not, will not and shall not capture or threaten Goku Son and the other Super-Warriors associated with him. I have a history with that great man; he and his followers have saved us so many times already alongside Mr. Satan. And I suggest you do not defy me Jero; you know the consequences of doing just that."

"Yes." Jero smiled, clenching his fists underneath the table. "That is understood, King. The Red Ribbon Revolution shall not lay a finger on your heroes... You have my word."

...The crowd applauded the three standing on the stage with the blue backdrop. Jero Ribbon wore his trademark tweed jacket and red bowtie standing behind the stand and microphone. On his right stood Aprilotine and on his left Onyx; a tall muscular black man wearing a black-suit.

"Yes. The Red Ribbon Revolution is always growing and is always prepared to help." Jero Ribbon smiled cheerfully, opening his mouth to speak -

The television blacked out -

Roshi frowned, placing the remote on the table. He was still wearing his traditional red framed sunglasses, black suit and red tie from today's earlier funeral at the Lookout. He had been following the Red Ribbon's return for the five months since its announcement at first he was sceptical about the return of such an organisation and now he was convinced that it was just as bad as it was before. Somehow, someway people had been gaining powers that didn't involve Ki, and the RRR was taking these people as prisoners for 'research' apparently. He'd do some more research later – "Hm?"

"...Roshi?"

Master Roshi stood leaning on his brown staff and turned to Krillin's and Eighteen's daughter, Marron who held her left elbow with her right pale hand. She wore skinny jeans and a pink shirt her blonde hair in a pony tail with a worried look wavering in her eyes. "Can you keep a promise?"

"It's alright dear," Roshi removed his sunglasses and stared into teen's bewildered ones. "Am I correct in thinking that this is about your newfound abilities?"

"Huh?" Marron's eyes flickered in surprise with her silent gasp. "How did you know that?"

"I have lived for a very long time, Marron. Nothing escapes my notice anymore."

Marron furrowed. "Well that gets that out of the way," She said after a moment and sighed. "Yes. I'm one of them Impulse's..."

"It's okay Marron. You don't have to be ashamed, no matter how the media or this Jero Ribbon portrays the Impulse's; you aren't bad. You have a gift, heck quite frankly I'm a little jealous myself!" Roshi laughed a little and stopped when he noticed Marron's head drop. "Well, err, you can move faster than a Super Saiyan from what I've seen! That's gotta be something right?"

"It is. It feels amazing when I'm running, like I'm truly free." Marron looked up smiling but then bowed her head. "But...I don't want it. I just want to be normal, partial to the reason why I never wanted to learn how to blast things or fly."

"I see," Roshi gaze a sympathetic look. "How many know about this?"

"Just you, I couldn't bring myself to telling mum or dad..."

"Right, we'll explain it to your parents when they get home from dinner; they've been worried about you over these past few weeks."

"Okay," Marron sighed, worrying about the following later conversations. "But there's another thing. I have problems controlling it; sometimes the energy gets too much if you get me?"

"I think so," Roshi said. "Perhaps, if you want, we could try Ki-Control lessons they might help you to control your new abilities as well."

Chi-Chi shut her bedroom door. She had changed into her nighty getting ready for bed.

Goku was already sprawled in bed snoring. It had been a long day for him working on the farm whilst Uub was busy studying.

Her hair was grey in areas, wrinkles with bags under her eyes. It didn't take long for her age to show again without the continued use of the Saiya-Pills. But she didn't care, the only real reason she took them before was due to fear of appearing old compared to Goku, but now she knew that her husband would eventually catch her in the curse of age and that thought made her smile.

After a moment of gazing at her sleeping husband Chi-Chi flicked the switch and the lights went out.

And with that we end the Avenger Saga! Thank you to all who have read this far, and for reviewing and such it really does make me happy seeing them. Below like with the Universal Saga ending will be a little bonus section of my earlier thoughts, concepts for this saga's segments for you to read if you like.

Also, I hope this chapter gives intended hints to what the next Saga will be like. :)

-Bonus-

Earlier Concepts:

Super Saiyan 4:
This was perhaps the most difficult decision for me. At first I wasn't a fan of having any higher levels of Saiyan, but in the end after thinking it over I settled with having the Super Saiyan Four but it was going to golden like the previous forms. That seemed silly to me though as it felt like another generic form. In the end as you can see I settled with Oozaru God: a combination of Super Saiyan 4 (Reserved colours, black fur, red hair), and Super Saiyan God for the aura.

Future Pan:

You may be wondering what the hell I'm on about, but hear me out. The Baby saga was going to be very different. Raichi was originally going to be executed by Hailza during the whole Planet Plant ordeal. In this version Baby would have still taken control of Goku and then taken the Earth, leaving only, Uub, Buu, Hercule, and Pan with Trunks and Vegeta this time dying to Baby in the chapter "No Time Left" also meaning the Planet Alliance Organisation would have never known about the Tuffle return.
Baby would take over - Buu, Pan and Hercule would have stayed in hiding instead, meaning Uub would have been killed by Baby. The trio would be the last defence, with Baby being locked in another Galactic War with Hailza and Phipsil when he tries to take Arcos by force. After 10 or so years of war, many of cast will have died and Pan knowing she isn't strong enough to stop Baby plans on going back in time by using an old Time-Machine in Capsule Corporation. Many events would play differently and the story would go on from the world that Future Pan saved (Basically the story I have now - Raichi and Gogeta would still battle in the end only with this Future Pan in the mix).
I scraped this idea because it seemed redundant considering it would be a rehash of basically the Android Saga.

Q&A:

Q: Well then, that happened. Guess even Vegeta, Prince of the Saiyan race can succumb to time. If King Piccolo was there, he'd laugh his head off about how he's eternally young, dead, but he got his eternal youth. Then he's try to kill them, but seeing as even in their weakened state, Goku can go Super Saiyan, he'd fail. Miserably.

A: Guess so, it's kinda sad to see but at the same time fulfilling to me. I remember Myuu hinting towards Vegeta's age slowing him down in GT, but it was never expanded on. And haha, I could just imagine King Piccolo randomly being there and laughing with that sinister chuckle of his.

Q: Oceanus, another shout out to GT, name and design I believe, except for the Majin symbol instead of a blue dragon ball. Shame we didn't see the fight, but from the looks of it, Piccolo was stronger, but barely and like he did in GT, he dies, but not without a heartfelt goodbye to Gohan. That part of GT was exceptionally well done. As was this. Once again, Piccolo is too awesome to go out like everyone else, he sacrifices himself for the greater good.

A: You are right and that certain symbol will be expanded on later in the story. ;) It was hinted that they had something to do with Majin magic back in the History of Gast with Bibidi being part of the Dragonkin. I'm glad to hear you liked the scene with Piccolo and Gohan - I was nervous that the scene was a bit short.

Q: Another great set of chapters man. Really enjoyed the fight between Goku and Vegeta, this Oozaru God form is cool to. This should have been what the Super Saiyan God was like! Great ending, with Vegeta's age showing was handled well.

A: Thanks! I'm happy to hear you liked it.

Q: Oceanus, a Shadow Dragon from GT. It feel like you've been carrying the Shadow Dragons throughout the entire story, first mentioned with Gast. Also I'm curious to see just what they've been up to all this time and I thinks you'll be explaining this later in the story. Can't wait!

A: You're right, I've been adding details about the Shadow Dragons all this time in the background of the chapters and you'll have to wait and find out later. ;)

Q: And Piccolo! Oh my god, I'm upset to see him go, to lose his existence to! But I'm glad to see how you handled it.

A: I am also sad to see him go but it felt right to me. I always like his sacrifice in GT to.

Q: Also "citizens with supernatural powers" I wonder... Also what interets me is the fact that the worlds lands have changed, that is such a cool thing and shows again how brutally powerful that fight between Gogeta and Raichi was.

A: Well I think the above chapter here states that. And a big well done for spotting that by the way! I just hope people like this! I'm glad it interests you, I thought it would be a great way to show just how much damage was caused; the majority of the world's populace, the main cities have been mended but there is still some smaller towns that need repairing along with the moving of some events such as the Budokai Tenkaichi islands being sunken...

Q: And I think I know exactly what the next chapter is going to be. There's a reason Red Ribbon has been hinted in some of your chapters, and I doubt it is just for Easter Egg rights. Curious to see how you go about that one though.

A: We'll just have to wait and see, but I think this chapter may confirm your thoughts.

Anyway, a big thanks for reading everyone I hope you're enjoying it. I'll see you all in the next one. Thank you!
