Zatarra could hear the clank of the the metal against Zoro's side. Her mind was racing and her heart was pounding in her ears, this THIS was fear, true, real cold fear. Zoro turned too early and she followed after him sighing as she follows her directionless swordsman. She caught up with him and gripped his hand leading him down another alleyway. She felt tear rise in her eyes and her breath catch and shudder, she didn't know what to expect. She felt a squeeze on her hand making her look up at Zoro who gave her a confident smile.
"The shipyard is just around the corner here," She gripped Zoro tighter, she knew he had a fabulous talent and getting separated and lost and ending up...usually where he needs to go. They turn the corner and see the shipyard alight with bright orange and furious red flames. Zatarra felt her hand go to her mouth in shock, a loud clash of metal sounded in front of her, the wind blowing her hair and dress back, whipping and flowing behind her. A man is standing in front of her, Marine coat, Captain if she remembered right. His two swords were being held in a perfect point by Zoro, his green hair moving from the winded impact as Zatarra stood there stupidly. She knew he was strong but this was something she wasn't aware he could do. Zoro smiles with his third sword in his mouth.
"Roronoa Zoro," The man in the Captain's coat smiles, "Shouldn't you be capturing this criminal instead of protecting it?" His lips move into a sneer.
"If I find a criminal I'll be sure to let you know," Zoro pushes the man back with the sheer force of his swords and the leverage given to him by the position.
"Zoro-" She started, as he reached to his arm and tugs off a dark black, perhaps green bandana and ties it around his head. He leans his leg back and sets his swords in a ready position.
"Go, find your friends, get them to safety," Zoro instructs, after a moment's hesitation she gives Zoro a quick kiss on his cheek then turns to run off.
"So the witch has cast a spell on you?" The Captain pulls the attention of the green haired man before him.
"Eh?" He lifts an eyebrow.
"You must know by know that she is a witch." The Captain smiles in a sneer.
"She's no witch," Zoro chuckles.
"Look at you, the greatest pirate hunter reduced to a bodyguard for a woman hardly deserving of your time." He shakes his head. Zoro grits his teeth,
"She doesn't reduce me, she makes me greater," The level of conviction in Zoro's tone is something that leaves no room to be argued with, "Now are we going to stand here and talk or are you actually going to do something?" The man lifts a right leg his arms going into a wide stretch on each side of his body. Zoro didn't want to wait for the theatrics of the man's dance so he did what he did best and dove right into battle.
