Rain storms
"Your hairs really soft."
"Why are you touching me?"
"...Because, its ben taunting me... Like its calling my name."
"But...It's weird."
Kaoru snickered lightly to himself as his finger tips played with the tips of Suzuki's blond hair, he was sure it was sparkling in the sun light..
He had followed her yet again into down town.. He had ben hanging out with her a few times since the court hearings.. But since those were over now he could finally let his brother and Haruhi have some time alone.
And he just happened to have run into her while he was walking back to his apartment after going to a small café that was just across the street from his apartment.. And once he heard a dog barking he just couldn't find it in himself to stay away. . He was like a magnet.
Suzuki blinked confused and bent down to pat Sparta's back once he began to fall asleep on the sidewalk. . She scrunched up her face obnoxiously and swatted away Kaoru's hand as he still tried to play with her hair.
What was it with men and touching woman's hair? especially this guy.
"You must not be able to get enough of my company if you keep following me," she snorted as she looked over at Kaoru and noticed him get comfy next to her, with his hands folded comfortably behind his head.. "I mean, you just keep popping up."
"Do you think I'm annoying~?" He casted a wicked grin over at her in amusement.. "It's okay if you do, I won't get offended."
"Well, kind of," she hesitated a moment, looking away from him to look at the strange shapes the clouds were making in the sky. "But not really...I guess I'm not use to people wanting to follow me... Why are you following me?"
"Because your cute~"
"...So you are a stalker?"
"No!... That's-...That's not what I meant, I'm not a stalker I just-" Kaoru stuttered out nervously. Not knowing how to fix what he just said and make it sound innocent.. "Uh... I just think you look lonely all the time you go out walking, that's all."
"Lonely?" Suzuki narrowed her eyebrow in confusion and looked down at Sparta once his body jolted up when he heard something in the trees. . She sighed and looked back at Kaoru. Wondering why he was giving her a strange a strange look.
"What?" she asked boredly. Her eyes half lidded as they gave him a blank expression. "Why do you keep looking at me like that?"
"I told you," Kaoru snickered happily. Looking down at Sparta, who always seemed to be there.. "It's kind of hard to look at you with a straight face, your just so cute."
She rolled her eyes. "You keep saying I'm cute, and you look at me like you want to eat me... But what's so cute about me that you can't stay away? last time I checked I kind of punched you in the arm... You showed me the bruise yesterday."
"I don't know," Kaoru muttered, looking up at the sky just to see what she was looking at, and after musing that one could looked like a dragon with cat ears and duck feet, he looked down at her and looked at her long braid at she had hung over her shoulder. "Your face," he concluded on one thing, "It's cute."
"My face?"
"Yeah, like... Like your made out of a bunch of baby puppies."
"..."
Kaoru chuckled at her weird look, but with her love of dog's, he just decided to say she was as cute as a baby puppy, sense she squealed out cutely when ever she saw one. . He blinked confusedly once she babbled out something that he didn't quite hear all that well.
"What was that?" he asked, looking over at her curiously.. Cocking his head to the side as he tried to look innocent. "What did you say?"
She narrowed her eyes and gulped down her wet throat and pointed a finger up towards the sky, pointing to a particular cloud. "All I said is that, that one looks like a dragon with cat ear and duck feet."
Kaoru developed a huge grin and shook his head at the strange coincidence, and pulled down her hat from in front her face and pulled it off, ruffling up her hair that wasn't pulled up in a loose bum.. Irritating her for his enjoyment.
Soulmate's perhaps~?
Suzuki grunted annoyed and snatched her hat back from his hands.. Shoving it in his face and plopped it down on his head.. Pulling down over his face so he couldn't see, just to make sure he knew how it felt.
Snickering through his teeth, Kaoru tipped the hat up and leaned back into the bench they were sitting on during mid day, with it being overcast, the sky was full of dark clouds, and the one he was convinced was a dragon with cat ears and duck feet, was the only one still white'ish.. He was sure it was going to start to raining soon.
Jolting up quickly. Sparta scrambled clumsily to his four legs and looked over pointing his nose towards the park, looking at something that was scurrying around at the root of the trees.. Kaoru couldn't see what it was, but he just guessed that dogs some how had better vision then humans.
"I would get go of him if I were you," Suzuki spoke up casually, crossing her legs, kicking her cowboy boot covered feet a little.. Noticing that Kaoru was holding on to his leash. "He about to-"
Kaoru looked down at noticed Sparta jerk forward, but because the leash was tied around his palm, the dog couldn't go anywhere.
"I got him," Kaoru assured in a snicker, interrupted her and tightened his hold on the leash and looked over at Sparta suspiciously.. Though unfortunately for poor Kaoru. Sparta thought it would be a good idea to get up and jerk him harder, pulling him off the bench, away from Suzuki.
"Hey, wait... Hold on, lets not be hasty here," Kaoru scolded nervously. Trying to untie the leash that was tightly around his hand, though it was already too late to do anything.. Sparta barked and took off running. Pulling Kaoru with him like a rag doll.
Suzuki's eyes widened as she shot up from her bench as her dog started dragging her friend who just so happened to be a famous fashion designer.. And to her knowledge, you shouldn't drag important people across the side walk.
"I thought you said you got him!?" she found it hard not to laugh at him as she started chasing after them.
"Well technically I still have him!" Kaoru called back. Squealing out in surprised as he still tried to detached himself from the snow yeti of a dog.. His face turned full horror as he was almost pulled into a tree.
"Slow down!"
"Your kind of asking for a lot!"
"Stick your heels into the ground or something!"
"Well at least Now I know why you wear cowboy boots!"
"Here hold my hand."
"I can walk down the stairs by myself."
"You waddle like a freaking penguin, I'm scare your gunna fall."
Haruhi sighed in irritation and swatted his hands away once he tried to grab her waist.. She glared stubbornly at him and insisted she go down the stair by herself.. She had ben going up and down the stairs all day without him looking and ended up fine, though the second he saw her going up that last time, he quickly trotted after her and completely abandoned everything he was doing just so he could help her.
Hikaru scowled at her glare and crossed his arms.. Trying to show her that he wasn't going to let her go any further without her holding on to him some how, one way or another. "Quit being stubborn."
"I'm not the one being stubborn," she argued. Her right hand gripping onto the rail of the stairs, and the other one under her bulbous stomach. As if she was keeping it from falling off some how.. She waited a few more long moments, but he still wouldn't move out of her way. "Hikaru... Move."
Hikaru snickered silently but stayed where he was.. He was four steps in front of her and was standing backwards, just so he could see what she was doing.. He sighed and got comfortable standing there, not wanting her to walk down the stairs herself.. "Give me your hand and I'll move."
"But that wouldn't prove my point."
"No, but it would with mine."
Haruhi grunted and insisted on being a stubborn pregnant woman and not have her husband help her down the stairs.. She tapped her heel patiently, waiting for him to at least step back.. "...You know I have to get down the stairs at one point when your gone at work right?"
"And? what does that have to do with anything?"
Haruhi gave him a weird look, with her eyebrows narrowed and her mouth slightly gaped open. "It-...Its means your not here, and I can get down fine without your help." She sighed, as her brow twitched in her husbands idiocy.
"That's true," he nodded in agreement, then gave her a look like he just thought something that was full of his logic that she wasn't doing to be able to avoid. "But who cares about that, but while I'm here I won't let you go down by yourself."
"Why? what is the point?"
"...I don't know... Less accidents?"
"..."
"...That I could prevent?"
"..."
"...Oh for pete sakes, just grab my hand as in a friendly gesture then."
"...No."
"Ugh, see your the one being difficult, you won't even hold my hand, how rude, I'm offended... Look, you've saddened me."
Haruhi blinked at him boredly, as if not effected by his words one bit, and tried to take a step but stooped once she watched him flinch.. Which made her want to laugh but she kept it in.. She then looked at him suspiciously and pulled back. "Your just watching me," she snickered. "Go away."
Hikaru puckered out his lips and grumbled something quietly that Haruhi didn't hear nor did she care to hear, it was probably a curse word anyway.. He straightened his mouth into a straight line and looked at her blankly. "Now, we're not getting anywhere with you being like this, stop it."
"Stop it?" she huffed, scrunching up her face once again, just as she straightened it out. "Your the one-"
"Damn it, just grab my hand already, your the one pregnant, not me."
"And who's fault is that?"
"It doesn't matter who's fault, it just matters that, that's what it is... Now hurry up and grab my hand before I just leave you up there to walk down by yourself." He snapped, quick to get irritated, with his eyebrow twitching uncontrollably. He glared up at her and held out his hand for her to grab. Thinking that she would this time.
Unfortunately that's she didn't and just gave him a solemn look of. 'no Hikaru I'm not going to grab your hand, back off' To which he replied in a dramatic sigh and rolled his eyes, pretending not to care anymore.
"Fine, you win," he muttered irritably and stepped a few steps back, his orange bangs going over his brow, matching his bored golden eyes as he watched his wife give a triumph nod and take another step forward. "Be careful." He scolded, his arms twitching at his side like he was planning on grabbing her.
Haruhi looked at him blankly and scowled, her hand still under her large belly as she kept her grip on the rail. Taking another wobbly step. "I got it," she assured. "Gosh your like a fly."
"And your a mule," he rolled his eyes, wanting to stalk right up there, pick her up, and just carry her down. "I real stubborn one."
"Your going to feel really stupid when I get down there without your help."
"If~" He corrected, in a smart-mouth tone.
"Your a jerk, stop pestering me," she pouted and took another step, swatting her hand up and down, telling him to back up more so she could go down herself.. She didn't need any man, especially Hikaru, showing her over, when she was perfectly capable of doing stuff herself.
Hikaru closed his eyes and crossed his arms. stepping back two more steps, just to make sure he was still close enough so that if she did fall, he would be able to catch her without any problems.. "Your so independent, its annoying."
"Your annoying."
"Your..." Hikaru paused, trying to think of something original to say other then annoying. "Your careless."
"I am not," she hesitated on that sentence, thinking it over and wondered how she was being careless when all she was trying to do was go down the stairs without having to hold onto someone's hand, that's weird.. "Now move, your still too close."
Stepping back yet again, he was now five steps away from her and he didn't really like it, it was too far away and if she were to suddenly trip somehow he would have to be quick in catching her.. He loved her for her strong independence, but trying to go down the stairs by herself while being pregnant was kind of asking for a lot.
Glaring childishly at his wife as she took yet another step, he watched her ankle wiggle from supporting her now large frame when she only stood on one foot. She wasn't watching where she was going and just kept her bored eyes on him. . Making him feel uneasy.
Looking over his shoulder, Haruhi noticed that there was still at least ten more steps in there stupidly tall house left to go, and Hikaru had to be begged to just to step back.. She glared at him again and swatted her arm again, making him step one more step back.
Who knew it would be easier going up then it would be going down.
Already tired, and contemplating just going back upstairs. Haruhi sighed and was about to take another step when. .
Crash
Her eyes widened at the saddened appearance of a loud crashing sound of thunder outside. Making even Hikaru flinch, unexpected.. She first reaction was to let go of the rail cover her ears, but before she could even get her hands that high she instantly lost her balance and only had enough time to wrap one of her arms around her stomach before she slipped carelessly on the edge of the step.
Blinking confused after a loud crash came from outside, Hikaru looked up and witnessed his heavily pregnant wife suddenly became unstable and panicked as he watched her almost fall right in front of him.
Though luckily because of his stubbornness and doubtfulness that Haruhi could go dome without falling, he wasn't all that far down and panicked as he scrambled up a few steps to catch her so she didn't fall right on her face..
Clutching onto her forearms securely, he gave a huge sigh of relief as he barely caught her seconds before she was to fall down those ten dangerous steps. . He felt his heart literally stop when he saw her topple over, that he held her now a little tighter then he should be.
Feeling her legs tremble uncontrollably. Haruhi blinked and took a sharp gasp inward as she looked down at her husbands chest. . Feeling a little too embarrassed to look up at his face.. Dreading what he was probably going to say to her, with his know-it-all tone.
"Are you okay?" He hurridly looked down at her in concern after she didn't say anything, and looked down at her large belly.. Hearing a low rumble of thunder off in the distance. . He didn't know it had the chance of a storm, but then again, he hadn't really looked out any windows recently.
Haruhi just gave a loud dramatic sigh to his concern'ness, and laid her forehead up against his chest. Holding onto his arms as well.. Her legs were still trembling so she couldn't quite hold her self up and stay balanced. And her large stomach wasn't helping vary much.
Not being able to hold back an eye roll, and a light snicker at being totally right.. Hikaru sighed and looked down at her, waiting for some kind of response but once he didn't get any what-so-ever, he came to the conclusion that they still weren't getting anywhere just hold each other on the staircase.
Hikaru smiled and let out a humorous breath out from his nose as he stepped up one step to be closer to her.. And once there, he carefully stood her up on her own, though she didn't stay on her own vary long, cause once in the right position, he looped his arm around her next and tucked his other arm under her knees, and before she could process anything he was doing, he promptly lifted her up in his arms bridal style, despite the weight she had gained from being pregnant.
Yelping out in surprise once Hikaru plumped her up, she had to grab onto his shirt once she thought he wouldn't be able to hold herself and her round belly, then once it finally sunk into her what he was doing, she tried to resist.
"Hikaru, what are you-... What are you doing I-"
Hikaru ignored her mutters of protest and grinned to himself as he turned around and carefully began patting down the steps.. "What did I just tell you Haruhi?" he sighed, "Could it be that I told you not to walk down the stairs by yourself?" He suggested with a snicker.
"..."
"But I'm not sure, why don't you tell me what I said?"
"..."
Hikaru let out a session of roaring laughter at her scrunched up face and carefully set her down on the safe, flat, floor once they reached it.. And wrapped his arm around her waist once she stumbled forwards a little.
"What was that Haru-darling~?" He snickered in curiosity looking down at her once she muttered something he couldn't hear.
"Go ahead, say it," she grumbled irritably, straightening out her shirt once it got wrinkled. "I know you want to."
"I would Haru," he grinned dopily at her as he leaned down, to look deep into her eyes. "But that would be mean~"
"..."
He then developed a sudden scowl and heard rumbling in the sky above the house and looked down at her, the image of her falling over on the stairs came up in his mind again and he glared down at her and pointed his finger down at her face, stopping at her nose and poked It, then he pouted. "Don't try to do that again."
"...Okay."
"Also!"
"What?"
"I told you so!"
"Ugh."
Suzuki had to bite her lips to keep herself from laughing out obnoxiously. . Though with her shoulders trembling it kind of gave her away.
"What so funny?" Kaoru raised his eyebrow at her, dusting his shirt off as he stood up and looked down at Sparta, who stuck out his tongue to show he was tired of running and barked innocently at him, as if he was trying to tell him he had fun dragging him around like a chew toy.
Suzuki didn't have breath to reply to him and just continued to try and muffle her loud guffaws and cute snorts, still trying to get over how funny it was watching him being pulled by her dog, and watching someone else get pulled rather than her. "Sorry," she snorted between sniggers. "It was-... The way you squealed... You sounded like a girl."
With Kaoru's face instantly turning red, he sighed and didn't really think he sounded all that girly.. Then looked over at her, and wanted to tell her how cute she was when she laughed, but he decided not to.. Afraid it would ruin things, and make things awkward in their now peaceful and carefree moment.. He liked moments like that.
"Did I~?" He mused to himself subconsciously.. Smiling dopily as he sat himself down on the ground in the park they were now in, and where Sparta decided to chase a squirrel that he saw, which made him drag Kaoru half across the block. . He then opened his mouth, planning on saying something that could regain his manly ego, but then decided not to and quickly silenced himself.
Taking a deep breath she leaned down and placed her hands on her knees to collect herself and tried to reduce her constant snickers to act like a normal human being and stood up above Kaoru, with him looking up at her curiously.. "Well... Now you know how I feel every morning." She snickered, looking down at him and him looking like he was just forced to run a fifty mile marathon. "You actually look kind of cute when you act like a sissy."
Rolling his eyes at her obvious teasing, Kaoru sighed heavily and leaned back on his arms.. He could smell a sudden dampness in the air but decided not to pay too much attention to it, and looked up at the sky, or rather, the branches of a large tree they decided to stop under. . Or rather, a tree Sparta just happened to have decided to stop pulling him at, and he honestly didn't have the energy to move anywhere and just threw himself there on the ground.
"How are you still alive!" he gasped out dramatically, spreading his arms out like a bird would do with its wings, ready to take flight, but instead what he did was just throw him entire body on the ground, laying his head down on the soft messy grass.. "I feel like me legs are going to fall off if I try to stand up."
"Maybe you need more exercise," she snickered and leaned her head back into her folded arms as she looked towards the sky, watching the branches sway a little as the wind picked up slightly, but it quickly settled back down before she could process it completely.
Wrinkling his nose at the shameful fact that he honestly didn't really exercise, and liked to eat a lot of chocolate.. He sighed and chose not to mention any of those details and just took a deep breath and shrugged his tired shoulders.
Looking at her rather small and delicate frame, well despite her strong punches, she did look quite delicate, and which made him wonder how she could handle walking such a large dog every morning and still be in once piece.. It amazed him really, but with the dogs careless nature, there was no wonder the people in the higher class part of town didn't like him.
Watching his own chest raise and lower from every deep breath her took. Kaoru smiled innocently to himself and folded his arms behind his head and got comfortable on the grass.. Not really caring at the moment that he was going to get his clothes dirty from the ground.
Those he was sure he was going to regret it once he was to get home and find his shirt covered in grass stains.
Though like he just said.
He didn't care at the moment.
Glancing up around the tree tops, Suzuki blinked and noticed the weird shaped could that looked like a dragon with cat ears and duck feet was now long deformed into something that looked like something you would find inside a blender that was set on pulverized for a long period of time.
She then chose not to get too much into it and just crossed her legs on sat promptly sat down next to her dog, who just to happened to be laying on his stomach next to Kaoru.
It confused her a little, watching her dog act so friendly towards him and so close, as if they had known each other for years, like they had.. Kaoru didn't seem to mind him being to close, and didn't really seem angry that he pulled him just so he could chase a squirrel.
She just shrugged her shoulders just as Kaoru did and fidgeted her body as she scooted closer to the dog and rubbed and tangled her fingers in his long fluffy coat of glistening whiteness.. She smiled contently and laid her head down on him, Liking that he always let her lay on him.. Like it was somehow his solemn duty to be her pillow.
As the sky got darker and darker every time she would look away from Kaoru to look at it,sShe still didn't bother to take it to concern. . Even with the light rumbles of thunder she knew there could be a possibility of a storm, or even a light drizzle.
Sparta slowly raised his head up, as if on patrol for more squirrels, then looked between his master and the strange guy that had suddenly popped into their lives, before giving a big, stinky dog breath filled yawn, and laid back down.
"Its comfortable out here," Suzuki suddenly spoke up randomly, with a slight glint in her eyes as she let her head roll of her dog and looked over at Kaoru as she laid her head down on her arms just as he was doing. "...Isn't it?"
Kaoru looked over at her slightly confused, like he hadn't heard what she just said, then blinked and nodded after a long moment once understanding, only by her expression. "Yeah it is." He nodded, happily. His sore muscles were aching to no end, but her was happy.
Its funny.. near to seven months ago, he thought he would never be happy again after parting with Kazumi, and with meeting her again just recently, he thought he might as well be better off just crawling into a hole. . . But then he was happy then could meet again, so he could send her on her way properly, and have no regrets or unhappy thoughts about them.. Or thoughts about them possibly getting back to together.
Kazumi was fun for a while, but after finding out the kind of person she really was, he realized that he probably wasted his college years following her around, when she probably never liked him then either.. And should have just let her keep walking once she bummed into him during class that day they met.
He didn't know what it was about Suzuki, but what ever it was, it made him feel calm and he didn't have to fell like he needed to conceal himself from her.. Every time he would act like himself in front of Kazumi, she would turn red all around and he would feel like he was making her uncomfortable.
Though with Suzuki, he could act weird, and have her act weird back, and call her cute and just be punched in the arm and have her completely forget about it in five seconds, changing the subject to something completely out of the topic.
And what was best about her, is that she reminded him so much of his brother.. So he didn't feel like he was talking to some strange girl.. But yet, felt like he already had some intimate bond with her.
It was a strange thought... But that's how he felt.
Hitachiin's have strange thoughts... That's just how they are.
Kaoru suddenly looked up alarmed when a loud clash of thunder ringed through his ears. . He sat up and looked curiously at Suzuki, who didn't seem all that effected by it.. Which worried him that she might have developed the lack of earing, because it was rather loud.
"I think it's going to start raining soon," He muttered, almost to himself as Suzuki didn't look over at him as he talked.. "We should probably get out of the weather" He suggested wisely. His legs crossed as he laid his hands comfortably on his lap.
"Probably," Suzuki sighed calmly, like she thought he was talking about something like cupcakes and laid her pale white cowboy hat down on her face. Like she planned on taking a nap down on the grass. "It smells like mushrooms, don't you think?"
Kaoru blinked and started thinking that it probably wasn't a good idea that they were under a tree while raining, since the chances of lightening was rather more then possible. He looked up at the sky noticed that the dark clouds made it quite dark.
Sparta scrambled to his feet, which made Suzuki look over at the two confused and finally decided to sit up as well.. She dusted off her hat lightly with her fingertips and breathed a deep breath of the nice fresh air. "Do you know what time it is?" She mumbled semi-mindedly. Glancing over towards the orange haired man. who was looking at her with concern.
"Uh..." Kaoru paused for a moment, trying to remember whether he had a watch or not, then after realizing that the shiny gold thing on his wrist is what he was looking for, he gave it a quick glance and sighed lightly. "Its six... Want me to take you home? My cars just off to the side over there, I'm sure Sparta could fit in the back."
"..."
"I mean, that is... If you want, I mean, if you like walking I-..." Kaoru's words just trailed off, as if he ran out of words to actually say that would make sense..
Then, just as Kaoru was going through his thoughts.. A final rumble of thunder, or what seemed to be just a baby one.. The rain began to make wailing sounds, and the next thing he knew.. Rain had finally made its appearance in the air, as it started off rather heavy.
Kaoru winched as hard rain dropped down harshly and stung his soft overly pampered skin. . Not really knowing what to do about it hew quickly scrambled up to his feet as well, as Suzuki and her dog had.
Looking around curiously, as if for a shelter she could possibly park her dog in, or a roof she was allowed her have Sparta under and not get threatened with trespassing, Suzuki sighed and stood near her dog, ruffling his already wet fur.
She looked up at Kaoru with a raised eyebrow and gave him a look like she was waiting for him to say something smart that would help in their situation.
Blinking his eyes, and brushing away his damp bangs, the rain slipped through the leaves of the tree they were standing under and landed on them like they were wanting to get them wet on purpose.
"Crap," He grumbled under his breath.. His hair quickly getting wetter and wetter, loosing its shape crafted by gel he applied to it that morning, and the only thing he couldn't think of was to grab Suzuki's hand, and Sparta's leash.. "Come on, we stay out here too long we'll both catch colds."
Suzuki blinked down at her hand, that was suddenly attached to his, and nodded mindedly.. "Where are we going?" She called out to him through the loud pounding rain that smacked the grass they were formally laying on.
"I told you," he snickered as he handed her the leash to her dogs collar, pulling her out from under the large droopy tree. Then casted her a quick happy grin from over his shoulder. "You can't walk home alone now, so I'm taking you both in my car~"
They hadn't needed to run all that far before they reached Kaoru, that was orange was stood out in the foggy street like a sore thumb.
Kaoru, being the generous gentlemen he was, happily opened one of the back doors of his Mustang, and left Sparta jump n there, with a little help from his hand though.. He grinned wickedly once he successfully packed the dog inside. Then looked over towards the blond maiden who seemed a little confused.
"Aren't you gunna get in?" He laughed slightly at her and how she was just standing in the street near the car.. He blinked at her a moment when she didn't respond.. It was almost like she was hesitating in getting in, like there was something in there that would bite her.
Scrunching up his face in confusion, Kaoru rolled his eyes and patted over to the door she was closest by and opened it for her. "You know, if you stay out like this you really are going to get sick," He sighed, opening the door wider, throwing out a generous hand to show her the way inside.
Suzuki glared and nodded her head, Slowly stepping into the car, not wanting to risk Kaoru's health with him standing out in the rain too.. She muttered a quiet "Sorry." as she ducked into the car and scooted into the leather seat.
Kaoru smirked at her cuteness and trotted over to the driver side of the car and swung open the door and settled down in his own seat, slamming the door shut.. And the sound of the rain pounding against the gravel road suddenly disappeared, and all he could hear was the loud panting of Sparta, and Suzuki fidgeting on the leather.
"The was interesting," he laughed out suddenly, with a strangely large grin on his face. "The rain came down faster then I thought it would."
Suzuki instantly turned her curious gaze out the window.. Watching the rain clash down violently onto the glass of the car.. She looked back towards Sparta a little concerned and sighed as soon as she noticed him lay there across the two back seat because of his large size.
"This upholstery looks expressive," She muttered out, completely avoiding his thoughts on the rain.. "You sure its okay for him to sit on the seats? We're both so wet and-"
"It fine," Kaoru insisted positively, rolling his eyes again as she started playing with the hen of her damp dark green plaid shirt.. "Its not like its hurting anything, its just water, and if he does scratch it up a bit, it wouldn't be any problem to get it repaired."
She looked over at him and sighed.. Letting out a relaxed breath from her lips as she leaned back into the seat, wondering why Kaoru still hadn't started the car yet, but didn't rush him on the matter and just laid her head back onto the head rest.
With no effort with having a hat on... Which concerned her.
Her eyes suddenly wide open. She ran a hand through her wet hair and on top of her head.. feeling nothing there.. She began to panic and looked straight down at her feet, then over at Kaoru.. Who started laughing at her.
"You lookin for something~?" He taunted teasingly. Spinning a hat on his finger just as he watched her flustered face glare at him. "I found it on the ground by the door after you stepped in." He answered truthfully. Stopping it from spinning as he clamped two fingers down on it.. Then smiled dopily at her and grabbing it, he hesitated. Looking at her plump rosy lips pucker out confused.
And after shaking out nice possible thoughts, he shook his head and smirked again.. And before Suzuki could grab he much-loved hat from his hands, he flipped it over and laid it on her head for her. Deciding that her scarlet face, probably had to be the cutest darn this he had ever seen in his life.
"You look just as cute with it on anyway." He snickered. Watching her center it on her head the way she liked it.. Then just stared at her for a moment.
The sun barely made any light in the sky as it was completely inked with black clouds.. The rain let up a little, but not enough to make it worth working the windshield wipers.
After having being bombarded by the rain so suddenly, their clothes were wet, and the car produced some heat to make it somewhat comfortable to stay in there.. Just until the rain were to calm down enough to make it safe to drive.
He didn't know why, but for some odd reason, he had this fuzzy feeling in his chest.. He didn't know what it was, but it made him think of things the sounded nice at the moment..
And this time.. Kaoru was the one to give in into childish temptation, and needs. And having Suzuki look right over at him, with her shiny stone like green eyes.. It only made the fuzzy feeling grow, and made his chest swell up.
He noticed Suzuki lean closer, which only made him leaning closer make sense.. And almost half absent mindedly. He blinked softly.. Leaning a little bit closer he cupped his damp hand softly around her also slightly wet cheek.. And ignoring Sparta's pouts from the backseat. Kaoru lent closer and stopped just inches away from her face. Hovering around her for signs of hesitation.
He could feel her hot breath on his nose as he finally found himself blushing from the first time in front of her.. He inhaled sharply and huffed out his chest confidently.. Then once she didn't pull away from him, and didn't slap him for being pervert.. And watched as she blinked her half lidded eyes, he finally closed his golden orbs and bent down, cupping her other cheek.
And being so caught up in the moment, he brushed a lingering strand of her hair away from her face and placed his lips down on hers hesitantly.. Then seeing how she still didn't pull away from him..
