Title: An Unforgettable Christmas (Part 4)

Genre: Humor/Family/Sci-Fi

Four days later...

The two sisters sit up simultaneously and look around before looking at each other.

"It's Christmas!" They both say excitedly as they jump out of the bed, get changed, and run out into the bright castle hallways. They walk down towards the great hall and are greeted by Rapunzel and Eugene who are already sitting outside.

"Merry Christmas" Anna and Elsa say as they hug Rapunzel. They greet their parents as well as their auntie and uncle as they enter the room.

"Aah...Christmas...the happiest time of the year." Agdar says as he sits back.

"So what's happening today?" Anna asks.

"Well, we're hosting the annual Coronian Christmas party tonight, so we'll have some guests and dignitaries here tonight.

"What time is that?" Elsa asks.

"Around Eight o clock. Um...so...the duke of Weselton and the prince of the southern isles will be here tonight. This isn't going to cause any problems...is it?" Harold asks.

"Not unless they try something." Anna says.

"Well, that's the only time we'll be hostile to them. I know what they did, but it was to you, and not to us, so we can't allow those repercussions to extend to us since they're a major trading ally."

"You couldn't even sanction them one bit?" Anna asks.

"Well we did warn them about what they did and how you're related to us, but there's not much we can do unless they're in Coronian territory." Harold says. "Don't worry. I assume that the King of the southern isles has already had a word with them, and if any of them try anything here, they won't get very far with it. I assure you that."

"Um...will I get into trouble if I punch the prince of the Southern isles in the face?" Anna asks to which Harold laughs.

"If it's unjustified here? Yes...sorry..." Harold laughs as Anna pouts. The nine of them eat while chatting about several things, mainly about the upcoming party.

"Darlings...is it alright if you could spend the day in Corona, while we and your auntie and uncle prepare the castle for tonight? Unless you want to help..."

"No no. It's alright." Anna and Elsa says simultaneously. "There's probably something to do in town."

"Alright...I should probably be asking why you're always going into town, but I'm going to assume that you're not doing anything wrong and just doing random stuff...is that right?" Idun asks to which Elsa and Anna nod. They spend a few more minutes in the hall before their parents and servants begin to clear the hall and prepare it for the Christmas party.

"Right...so duties again. This time I'm going to do it!" Anna says as the four of them stare at her curiously.

"Do what?" Kristoff asks.

"I'm going to ask the captain to lessen our punishment. And this time, I'm not going to back down!"

"No!"

"Aww...please..." Anna begs.

"No! I'm sorry...well actually I'm not, but this is your punishemnt for the chaos you have caused in the past few days. If you maintain this good behavior though, I may end it earlier...but you still have christnas duties." The captain says, not even looking up from his work.

"Great...and what are these Christmas duties?" Anna asks with a sigh.

"Well, it's Christmas so I have a few jobs for you to do. I'll make you a deal. I'll end your shift whenever you finish these. So...the faster you finish, the earlier you can enjoy your Christmas. Good luck..."

"Oh...is this some kind of joke?" Anna asks.

"Nope. There's only two things that you have to do today. Well...the longer you three stand here bickering, the longer your shift is. And remind me why you two are wilingly joining them here? You're not being punished..."

"I know..." Kristoff and Eugene says before following the girls out of the barracks.

"Why don't you just loft their punishment. Surely they couldn't have caused that much destruction..." A guard says as he enters the captain's room.

"Well...I could lift their punishment now...but where's the fun in that?"

"I hate that captain..." Anna growls.

"Oh come on...this isn't that bad." Kristoff says.

"For once I have to agree." Eugene says, both of them dressed in Santa suits with pillows stuffed in their suits to make them look larger.

"I doubt you two would say the same thing if you were dressed like us." Elsa groans, she, Anna, and Rapunzel, all dressed in green elf outfits.

"Well we're not..." Kristoff says as he makes a jolly laugh causing the three of them to roll their eyes.

"Right...are my two Santa's ready along with the elves?" A guard asks. "Good...you and the brunette elf...handle the children there...and you other three...the ones there. Got it?"

"How long do we have to dress up as fools for?" Anna asks.

"Until the presents are all gone. Hurry up..." The guy says. Elsa and Anna groan as they follow kristoff into the square where several dozen children were waiting excitedly.

"There's so many..." Elsa says.

"Mm...I think I'll replace all the presents with coal." Anna says with a sneer.

"Anna!"

"Merry Christmas...what do you want for Christmas?" Kristoff asks with a jolly laugh as he let's the girl sit on his lap.

"Um...I want a doll..." The girl says.

"Alright then. Elves? Doll please..."

"What did he just call us?" Anna asks with a growl.

"Here." Elsa says as she shoves a present in Anna's arms. She walks towards the chair where Kristoff is sitting before banding it to him with a glare. Kristoff hands the present to the kid before calling up another one and allowing him to sit on his lap. They continue this for the next hour until all the gifts have been given away

"Sorry kids...Santa's all out of present now. Maybe next year." Kristoff says as the remaining kids groan and begin to leave. "Well..that was fun eh?"

"For you maybe. And don't you dare call me elf ever again!" Anna growls as she pokes Kristoff in the chest before taking off the elf hat.

"Oh my...and I thought I had seen everything about you..."

The three of them turn around and are shocked, or in Anna's case infuriated, to see the unforgettable, sneering, redhead with sideburns standing in front of them.

"You!" Anna growls as she storms towards Hans, only to be pulled back by her sister. "Elsa!"

"Not here..." Elsa whispers as she gestures to the side where several guards are watching with curiosity.

"I see your sister is still holding you back." Hans sneers. "Why haven't you fallen madly in love with another man yet?"

"For your information...she has." Kristoff says fiercely as he stands next to Anna and Elsa.

"Oh...a commoner? And how many days did it take for you to ask for marriage?"

"Elsa! I'm going to kill him..."

"Anna...no!"

"Afraid I might hurt your little sister dear snow queen?"

"Hurt you? I'll murder you!"

"Ooh...still feisty!" Hans laughs.

"Why are you here?! Don't you have anything else to do but annoy us?" Elsa asks with a scowl.

"I just wanted to say hello to my ex-girlfriend and her emotionally-unstable sister."

"I am not emotionally-unstable " Elsa says as her eyes narrow, Anna glaring at Hans.

"The only person you're kidding is yourself." Hans says. "Well I should probably be going now. I have better things to do than hang out with the likes of you."

They watch as Hans walks away leaving a fuming Anna and confused Rapunzel and Eugene.

"Who was that?" Rapunzel asks as she walks up to them.

"Hans." Anna growls.

"You heard what King Harold said. Unless he actually tries something, you shouldn't attack him. That's probably what he's trying to do...to test you." Eugene says.

"He better watch it then..."

"What else does that thing say we have to do?" Kristoff says as Anna pulls out the list.

"Ugh...help with the decorations of the kingdom...great. Elsa...can you just coat this place in a layer of snow? It'll be more realistic and faster..."

Nightfall...

"And I hereby wish you all a merry Christmas. Now, let's enjoy the rest of the night!" Harold announces as they crowd cheers.

"Aah...peace and relaxation at last." Anna says as she sits on a chair next to her sister and grabs a muffin. "Well, apart from knocking you off that tree earlier on. Sorry about that. Oh...and Hans."

"Well he hasn't caused any damage to us yet." Elsa says as she and Anna survey the crowd, looking for the red haired prince.

"Hey girls." Idun says as as she sits next to them. "What are you looking for?"

"Oh...just someone we know." They say in unison.

"Anna...I hope you haven't drunk too much of that." Idun says as she notices the glass of red liquid in Anna's hand.

"Nah...but Elsa has."

"What?! Anna!" Elsa glares as Anna laughs. The smile on Anna's face vanishes when she sees the prince of the Southern isles standing by the corner of the room and chatting with a young princess.

"Oh...is he trying again?" Anna asks as she glares at the prince, Elsa watching as well. Anna states at her sister for a second before smirking.

"Anna..." Elsa says wearily but it is no use as Anna is already on her way to where Hans is standing.

"Hey! What's up you two?" Anna asks as she barges in between the princess and Hans.

"Erm...may I help you?" The princess asks as she glances to hand with a quirked brow, Hans seemingly restraining himself from pushing Anna away.

"Oh...I'm sorry. Where are my manners. Princess Anna of Arendelle and I see you have already met my...um...ex-boyfriend Hans Westerguard" Anna says. From afar, Elsa can see the infuriated look on Hans' face and can't help but giggle.

"I think I should go make sure Anna doesn't push them too far." Elsa says as she walks up to them.

"Oh...well I'm princess Neria of Vandora." She says as she shakes Anna's hand. "You never told me you had an ex."

"I guess it didn't cross my mind." Hans says through gritted teeth.

"Mm...so...are you two..." Anna says as she gestures between the two of them.

"Oh no...I just met him...but he seems like a nice person." Neria says.

"Oh...really...well all you've met is his outside. You have to know him better than that...and once you do...well..." Anna sneers at a fuming Hans.

"Did something happen between you two?" She asks as she stares between Anna and Hans.

"He left me for dead." Anna says causing the princess to gasp. "Yeah...but it made me realize that sometimes true love may not necessarily come from your significant other. Yeah...so...I wish you two luck..."

"Oh...erm...well...actually I should be going now. I have somewhere I need to be." The princess says as she glances at Hans before rushing away.s

"You..." He growls as he inches towards Anna who has a grin on her face, especially when Elsa arrives by her side. "What did you do that for?!"

"Oh.. I was just saving her from you. Who knows what you might do to her." Anna answers.

"You are pushing me too far princess. Be careful...you don't know what is coming your way!" Hans warns before storming away.

"Heh...that showed him." Anna laughs as she turns to her sister who has a disapproving expression in her face. "What?"

"Anna. You know what he's capable off. The last thing we want is for him to try something against or our family. Be careful Anna..." Elsa says.

"Oh don't worry Elsa...it's not as if he's going to do anything here. If he does, we have the power to arrest him."

"I just don't want to push people too far. Who knows what he'll do next?"

"They're here."

"Excellent." The duke sneers as be rubs his hands together. He pulls out the satchel filled with several small, powdery, balls. "Now, we just wait."

"Hey...I'll he heading into town for a while. Will you two be alright on your own?" Kristoff asks as he watches them sit by the side.

"Yeah...we'll be fine." Anna says with a yawn. Kristoff kisses her on the head before exiting the hall. The two of them lounge around the hall for a little while more before deciding to go on a walk in the castle gardens.

"The winter nights here are so nice." Anna says as she and Elsa walk through the tree covered path, taking in the sights of the clear night sky. They sit by a large tree and stare out over the garden, enjoying the peace and quiet.

"Hello there your majesty and your highness."

The two of them jump up and whisk around, their eyes widening when they see just who it is.

"Oh my..."

"Surprised?" The Duke asks as he and his two bodyguards walk up to them. "I must say...it took a whole to find you two. But then, I heard about the Christmas party and about how you would be joining and I knew that would be the perfect opportunity."

"What do you want?" Elsa asks as she pulls her sister close.

"A lot actually. You see...thanks to you severing trade with us, Weselton soon went into as state of disarray. To fix that, the king revoked my position and banished me and my men from government. All because of you..." He growls.

"Well yeah...you sent men to kill my sister. What were we supposed to do? Applaud?" Anna asks.

"For killing the queen who was freezing then to death? Yes. That would have been fair." The duke answers.

"Come on...all of this because you were banished? That's your own fault!" Anna says.

"Oh...no...this isn't all just me. Someone else also wanted to get his revenge. How do you think that I found out all of this info?" The duke sneers. "A person...from your past."

"Hans?" Anna asks, her eyes twitching in anger.

"What do you think?"

"I should have punched him when I had the chance."

"Why are you telling us all of this?" Elsa asks.

"You might as well know. I mean, it is the last thing you will ever here from us..."

"If you're going to kill us, you are going to have to deal with me and my sister." Anna states.

"Oh...I wouldn't do such a thing. In doing something much worse. Banishment. The same punishment I suffered."

"Ha! Banish us where?" Anna asks.

"To a place that you'll never get out from..." The duke says as he pulls out two of the magical balls hidden behind his back. "A place where neither true love nor happiness exists."

"Good luck finding that place old man!" Anna says.

"Oh...I already have..." The duke sneers. Before either Anna or Elsa can comprehend, the duke has already tossed the two magical orbs their way. The minute they collided with them, there was a massive flash followed by a faint rumbling causing the duke and his guards to shield their eyes. He looks up and sees that the girls are completely gone, two scorch marks and dents in the ground at where they last stood.

"Oh my god...it actually worked! It worked!" The duke laughs maniacally.

"Were you expecting something else to happen?" One of the bodyguards ask.

"Oh...um...no...of course not. I had complete faith..." He answers as they walk back towards the castle. "Now, my work here is nearly done. Arendelle is without a monarch and I can finally claim my rightful place as king of Arendelle."

"I'm sorry...I thought I misheard you." Hans says as he appears from behind a tree and walks up to them, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "The deal was, I become king and I reestablish trade with you."

"Yeah...well, you see...I realized something..."

"What was that?" Hans asks.

"Well...I thought of a better plan that is more beneficial to me." The duke says as a grin appears on his face.

"What?"

"How about cutting out the middle man, and taking it all for myself?" The duke snarls. And with that, he throws another orb straight at Hans' face before the shocked prince can reach for his sword. The flash followed by smoke was all that was left as the prince vanishes into thin air too.

"Now...my work is done. "

I have a lot of trouble keeping to the schedule I intended. This was supposed to have been submitted on Christmas day! Well...it's better late than never.

I'll try to get another chapter up today...maybe...hopefully...
