James get his daughter checked out
"Season 18 winner is James Maslow" Tom says as the confetti falls around
"And someone wants to meet their daddy" Malese says as she comes in with a bundle in her arms
"Malese is that our daughter?" James asks her
"Yes and she wants to meet you" Malese says as she comes towards him with the bundle of joy
"Hi sweetie aren't you the prettiest baby I have ever seen" he says as he holds his daughter
"Have you thought of a name for her?" Malese asks him
"Yes I'm thinking of calling her Audrey after Audrey Hepburn cause it means strength" he says as he rocks the baby in his arms
"That's a pretty name" Malese says to him
"Come on you two let's get Audrey checked out" Logan says to them
"Yeah we better" James says as he follows with Audrey
Malese goes in a different direction cause she was the reason that Audrey was born early
"Ba. Ba" Lydia says when she sees the baby
"Yes Lydia say hello to baby Audrey Maslow" James tells her
Lydia gives Audrey a kiss
"Ah Lydia that was very sweet of you" Logan says as he pushes Kenzie in the stroller
James buckles Audrey in her little car seat and heads for the hospital
(Hospital)
"Yes my girlfriend just had a baby and she is two months early" James tells the receptionist
"Okay fill out these forms and we can see her" the nurse tells him
James puts Audrey down and starts filling out the forms, so she could be seen. While he was filling out the forms Audrey let out a cry
"I can feed her for you James" Erin suggest
"Thanks Erin" he tells her
Logan took Bridgette, Lydia and Kenzie home cause it was way past their bedtime
"Okay Audrey auntie Erin is going to feed you" Erin says as she puts the nursing pillow on and gets the cover ready, so she could nurse Audrey
Once Erin was situated she guided Audrey up for a drink at the bar
"Is she nursing?" James asks Erin
"Just fine James" Erin tells him
James watches as Audrey has her first meal
"Don't worry princess daddy is right outside" he says stroking her really tiny foot
James finished up filling out the forms and turned them in, so Audrey could be seen
"Audrey Maslow" the nurse calls from the door
"Hang on she is in the middle of her meal" Erin calls to the nurse
"Don't you have the standing still pillow secured?" he asks her
"Yeah I forgot I brought it with me and forgot I secured it" Erin tells James
Erin gets up slowly not to disturb Audrey who was still nursing
"I'll wait until Audrey is done eating to weigh and measure her" the nurse says leaving
James texts Malese to tell her he is at the hospital with their daughter, and she response back saying that he can raise their daughter alone cause she is out of the picture
"James are you okay?" Erin asks him
"Malese just left me" he says when Peta comes into the room
"James we got to board our flight for good morning America
"I can't Peta I have to care for my daughter" he tells her
"Maybe we can do a remote from California?" Peta suggest
"That sounds like a plan" he says as Erin hands him Audrey
James carefully burps his daughter
"Good girl Audrey" he tells his daughter
Soon the nurse comes back to put Audrey's hospital bracelet on her, and weighs her
"She weighs four pounds even, so we are going to put her in the NICU for a little while, so we can monitor her" the nurse tells James
"Can I go up with her cause I am her dad?" he asks the nurse
"Of course you can" the nurse tells him
"Don't worry Audrey daddy isn't going to leave you like mommy did" he tells her
Audrey lets out a cute little yawn
"Ah your tired sweet girl?" he asks as he picks her up to rock her
Audrey snuggles into daddy's arms
"I take it she is" Peta tells him
James gently rocks Audrey to sleep
"Go to sleep little Audrey Maslow daddy will keep all the monsters away" he tells the baby that was snoozing in his arms
The nurse lets him carry her up to the NICU, and lets him put her in her incubator
"Don't worry pumpkin you only have to be here, so you can get a little stronger and before you know it you get to come home with daddy to stay sugar plum" he tells the baby who started to whimper in her incubator
James hated to see Audrey so upset, so he gets her out to rocks her back to sleep
"It's okay Audrey daddy is right here and isn't going anywhere anytime soon" he tells the baby that was slowly settling down in his arms
Once Aubrey was sound asleep James puts her back in her incubator and covers her up with a little blanket
"Night little Audrey Maslow sweet dreams baby girl daddy will see you bright and early for your first television appearance" he says as he gives her a kiss on her little forehead
James puts a little teddy bear in with Audrey, so she wasn't afraid of the nurses and being alone without him
"Don't worry Audrey daddy isn't that far away" he says as he puts the bear in with her
James gives Audrey one last kiss before leaving to go get some sleep
(Two hours later)
"Okay Audrey I'm coming" he says getting out of bed when a nurse comes and gets him
"Erin pumped some milk for you, so you can feed her" the nurse tells him
"Thank you" he tells the nurse as he goes and gets Audrey
James slowly gets her out and holds her
"Drink up little girl, so you can come home sooner as far as daddy can tell you are healthy as can be" he says as he continues to feed her
