"Well I'm interested to see how you handle yourself in this ocean of a duel." Aquilla said with a smirk.
"Let's duel." said Akiza and Aquilla simultaneously.
Akiza life points 4000 speed counters 6 Aquilla life points 4000 speed counters 6: "I'll start with two facedowns, and next I summon Phoenixian Seed, and I play the special ability of a card in my hand, now I sacrifice my seed, in order to call on Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis." Akiza said as her plant appeared on the field. "Now I'll attack your Giant Squid with Power Tool Dragon, and your Roaring Ocean Seasnake with Cluster Amaryllis."
"Impressive, but you triggered the special ability of my Giant Squid, now on my next turn I can summon out a monster from my deck ignoring all prior conditions."Aquilla said before Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis blew up and dealt him 800 points of damage.
"Alright, but my Amaryllis has an effect as well, whenever it attacks, it destroys itself. Next whenever it gets destroyed you take 800 points of damage." Akiza said. "Now to end my move I remove Phoenixian Seed to revive my Amaryllis in defense mode."
"Impressive, I can see how you made it this far, you're a great duelist." Aquilla said. "But the match is far from over."
Akiza life points 4000 speed counters 7 Aquilla life points 2700 speed counters 7: "I start by using the special ability of my Giant Squid, now I can summon the biggest fish in my deck, my Torrent Whale in attack mode, and he's just as strong as the legendary Blue Eyes." Aquilla said. "Plus he deals piercing damage, so your Amaryllis' zero defense points won't be blocking any of his attack."
"Maybe not, but you still take the 800 points of damage from his effect." Akiza said before a tidal wave destroyed her monster and wiped out most of her life points.
"I guess I'll end my move there, sorry but next turn I'll take care of your Power Tool Dragon." Aquilla said calmly.
Akiza life points 1000 speed counters 8 Aquilla life points 1900 speed counters 8: "It's my move now, and I think I'll start by introducing you to one of my favorite tuner monsters, Twilight Rose Knight." Akiza said as the monster appeared on the field. "Next when he's summoned to the field I can summon one level four or below plant type monster from my hand, and I choose Lord Poison."
"Another Synchro, that's impressive." Aquilla said.
"Well I'm glad your impressed because now Twilight Rose Knight tunes with Lord Poison in order to synchro summon, Black Rose Dragon." Akiza said as her ace monster appeared on the field.
"I play a trap card, Shifting Tides, now for the rest of the duel, my Torrent Whale is immune to all of your card effects." Aquilla said.

"That's not good, if Akiza can't reduce that Whale's attack points, she can't beat it." Crow said nervously.
"That may be true, but don't forget that Akiza still has those facedown cards that Leo left, odds are one of them holds the key to her victory." Jack said.
"Well whatever Akiza ends up doing don't forget that Aquilla's Torrent Whale can't get past the Ancient Fairy Dragon Luna has." Yusei said.
"I guess, but it still seems like they need a miracle." Crow said.

"She's got everything in place Luna." Leo said excitedly.
"Now Leo, you did say this might not work, especially if we lose the card before I go into the duel." Luna said.
"I know, but everything is working out perfectly, besides we have our backup plan." Leo said.
"Alright, let's see what happens." Luna said calmly.

"It's still my move, so I'll switch Power Tool Dragon into defense mode and end my move." Akiza said.
Akiza life points 1000 speed counters 9 Aquilla life points 1900 speed counters 9: "My move, and I start by paying 600 life points for my Shifting Tides trap, and next I attack your Black Rose Dragon with Torrent Whale." Aquilla said before Akiza smiled.
"I play a trap card, Power Tool Suit." Akiza said just before the Power Tool Dragon disassembled itself and attached to Black Rose Dragon.
"Nice effect, but what exactly does that trap do?" Aquilla asked.
"This new suit has a few effects, first Black Rose Dragon gains 800 attack points, second it's also considered a machine monster, and third it gains Power Tool Dragon's effect." Akiza said. "Now Black Rose Dragon attack Torrent Whale."
"I activate the trap card Aqua Rebirth, now I bring back my Giant Squid in defense mode, that ends my move." Aquilla said.
Akiza life points 1000 speed counters 10 Aquilla life points 1100 speed counters 10: "My move, so first I use the effect of my trap to add an equip spell to my hand, and I got a great one, I play the speed spell Mark of the Rose." Akiza said. "When I have five speed counters it's let's me remove one plant type monster from my graveyard, like Lord Poison, in order to take control of one of your monsters."
"I get it, and with my trap destroyed along with my Whale I can't stop your attack, good game Akiza." Aquilla said with a grin.
"Same to you, now Black Rose Dragon attack him directly." Akiza said as she won the duel.

"Wait, did Akiza just turn Leo's dragon into a suit?" Crow asked incredulously.
"She did, who would have thought that kind of move was even possible." Jack said.
"I guess we need to be on our guard, they might come up with something even more powerful than our dragons."Yusei said with a smile. "I would hate to be in Yliaster's shoes right now."
"Yeah, they duel first tomorrow right, I can't wait to see how that goes." Crow said.
"Yeah, one more round and we're in the semifinals." Jack said as the three watched the duel.
