Hello, all! … Or whoever out there that is still reading my stuff. Did you think I was dead? Not yet! I did have a little motivation in the form of my favourite Ohioan Librarian… So, I dedicate this Limoversary piece to the lovely, ever kind, Mary. Here we go…

"What are you wearing?" He said as she accepted his FaceTime request and a closeup of her face appeared on his computer screen. He shifted in his seat the second he saw that her head was resting on the pillows of their bed, her dark hair spread out across them. He'd caught her in bed. Good.

"Right now?" She batted her eyes.

"Hmmm….? Tell me…" His voice was seductive as he leaned closer to his screen.

"Very well… not much." She glanced down at her body and then her wide eyes locked back with his.

"I'm intrigued. Tell me more." It wasn't a question. "Better yet… Show me…"

"I would, but you see… I'm not alone." She confessed.

Chuck's eyes narrowed. "Your husband goes out of town for a few days…"

"Sorry. I also have another man on top of me at the moment." Sighed, and looked away as if unaffected. "And he's devilishly handsome. Smells divine. And is rather obsessed with me. I do so enjoy those things in gentleman."

Chuck raised a brow. "I sincerely hope that the man is question is devilishly handsome because he looks like his parents. I suspect there are times when he does not smell divine. And my guess is that part of the reason he's obsessed with you is because you are not only Blair Waldorf-Bass, but also his sole source of food."

Blair smiled coyly. "Perhaps…"

"For your sake I hope it's Henry on your chest. Anyone else or… well…"

"Bass, you know you'll never divorce me." Blair laughed and he smiled.

"I do love you quite a bit…" He pretended to muse. "Probably enough to over look an act of infidelity…:

"Yes, you do love me." She smiled, and then grew cheeky. "That and we don't have a pre-nup."

Chuck scowled. "Stop talking of divorce. Especially tonight." He leaned back in his chair, and folded his hands across his chest. "Henry?"

Blair pulled her phone back and set it on the nightstand so that he could see their sleeping, three month old baby on her chest. Henry looked bathed and cuddly in his onesie, and for the millionth time since Chuck had gotten on the plane he wished he was with them. He looked at her and her eyes were on Henry as she gently stroked his carefully combed dark hair.

"I have to ask why he's home… given that we were supposed to be having a night alone." He mused.

"Yes, we were… and I believe I was stood up…" She commented, still looking at her son.

"We agreed to sending Henry to your Mother's for the night…"

"Hmm…?" She said noncommittally.

"Blair."

"I missed him." She shrugged and kissed the top of his head. "And besides… you decided to stay an extra night in Argentina."

"I didn't decided. Nature did. There was a hurricane."

"We can only hope that your apology gift lives up to your slight, now can't we?"

Chuck already had a gold bracelet in his bag, but made a mental note to call Harry Winston's. The quiet stretched between them as he watched her and their son, watched how happy much she clearly loved the baby in her arms, the baby they had made together.

"What are you thinking about?"

"The past… the present." She looked over at him and her eyes were luminous. "Maybe it's the night?"

"It is a very special-"

"Don't say it."

"Limoversary."

She rolled her eyes. "You love that word too much."

"I love you."

"I love you too." She smiled at him, and again he wished planes could fly through storms safely.

Blair lay in their bed, in their home, holding the baby they'd made together. Yes, there had been hurt, and pain, and drama in the early years of their relationship… Okay, there was still drama, but it was the kind they enjoyed, and she was sure over the course of their lives there might be rocky times again. But there was a deep friendship and lasting love that was stronger than anything else.

"That night… You were just… My friend and sometime co-conspirator."

"I could be a bitch when I wanted to be." He quoted himself before asking. "And what am I now?

She smiled. "Everything, Chuck, you and Henry are my everything."

He didn't reply, and he didn't have to, because it was in his eyes. She and Henry were his whole world.

"I'm glad you kissed me that night." She whispered, and cursed all of nature for keeping him from her. She cleared her throat, missing him and needing to focus on something else. "Now, what time is your plane getting in? We have to be the restaurant for 8."

Chuck mind honed in on her words, and he knew he should let them keep on sliding… but he just couldn't let the little historical detail go.

"My plane gets in before 5…" He cleared he throat. "And one small clarification… Are you saying… that I kissed you… first?"

She nodded and gave him a dimpled smile. "The kiss that started it all."

"Yes, it was… and it was also you who started it."

"I don't follow?" She asked, but her voice had an ever so slight more edge to it.

"I'm just saying that… Blair… you kissed me first that night."

Her eyes flashed and her body tensed. "Bass, you're not funny."

"I wasn't trying to be. I was going for, and achieving, honesty." He couldn't help his own voice taking on a greater firmness. Did she really not remember that night? Ever detail of it had been seared into his brain since the second it happened. "Blair, you not only kissed me… but you slid across the seat to get to me."

"I did not!" She snapped, and the baby stirred on her chest.

"Look!" She hissed as she patted his back. "Your lies are upsetting Henry!"

"If he's upset about lying, our son is in a great deal of trouble. And also… you would be the one upsetting him."

"You kissed me, Bass!"

"I did. Many times." Chuck was not sitting up and tense. "But that first kiss was all started by you."

"Oh, yes! Like you were such a gentleman!" Blair jerked to grab the phone, and that was all the disturbance Henry needed to be woken up fully. "Now look what you did!"

"Blair-"

"I have to go. Your son is crying." She snapped and ended the call.

The next day, when he disembarked from his plane, he was not surprised to find that she wasn't waiting for him in their limo. Since their disagreement they'd exchanged texts, mostly about Henry, because it was almost absurd how much they both were focused on not only his feeding and care, but his temperature, temperament, and bowl movements. There had been some small talk about their plans to go to Gramercy Tavern for her birthday dinner, but the most person they'd gotten was her telling him that his dog had eaten her new Louis Vuitton peep toes.

He walked in the door of their townhouse just before 7, and was greeted by a tired looking Dorota.

"You know what makes Dorota very tired, yes? I don't need to go over it again do I, Mr. Chuck?" The maid said careful. "Especially with tomorrow being her birthday… and if it doesn't go well, I will be made to have foot bothering for the next month?"

"It will be fine, Dorota." Chuck rolled his eyes.

"Oh, yes, we both know that Ms. Blair has never been known to hold a grudge." It was Dorota's turn to roll her eyes.

"Where is she?"

"Getting ready."

"And-"

"Mr. Henry is in study with Ms. Eleanor and Mr. Cyrus."

Chuck nodded and turned towards the study.

"Mr. Chuck?"

He looked back at Dorota.

"After you see Mr. Henry… Ms. Blair had your suit laid out for you… in the guest room." She said pointedly.

Chuck's jaw clenched for a moment before he forced himself to relax. "Thank you, Dorota."

He didn't need to guess where she was going when she quickly snuck away. He knew she'd be running back to Blair to tell her everything they'd said. In the study he only had to mildly pry his son out of Eleanor's arms, because the woman was as addicted to Henry Bass as everyone else was. Chuck kissed his forehead and cheeks, and whispered softly how much he'd missed him, and then reluctantly handed him back to his grandmother.

He showered, changed, and was still down in the foyer before Blair had emerged from their master bedroom. It was coming up on 8 when she appeared at the top of the stairs. She took his breath away. No one did black like Dior, but no one wore Dior like Blair Waldorf-Bass. He watched her walk down the stairs, and he kissed her cheek when she offered it to him at the bottom.

They said goodnight to Henry, and promised her parents that they would be home by 11. Eleanor and Cyrus had told them that they were welcome to stay at the Palace that night and they would care for Henry, but neither of the young parents wanted to be away from him. Henry had never spent the night without at least one of them being there, and they didn't want to start now. He was still just a baby.

They wordlessly rode in the limo, and still hadn't said anything by the time they entered the restaurant and were shown to a private room.

"Surprise!" Serena laughed.

"This wasn't a surprise party…" Dan pointed out.

"Who cares!" Serena laughed and skipped over to Blair to hug her. "Happy Birthday, B!"

"It's tomorrow…" Dan pointed out again.

"He does not get how we do birthdays, does he?" Nate asked.

"Oh, look who's together this week?" Blair pretended to ask innocently as she pointed looked at Serena and then Dan.

"Blair." Serena warned, but couldn't quite pull it off given that she and Dan broke up and got back together on the regular.

"Where's Henry?" Nate asked to change the subject.

"My mother and Cyrus are at home with him. We have the airports on alert just in case she tries to leave the country with him."

The NJBC… plus Dan sat around the table and the dinner went easily… until Serena had to bring up the elephant in the room.

"Okay, what happened? Why aren't you two talking?"

Neither Chuck nor Blair looked at each other.

"We're just having… a difference of opinion…" Chuck said carefully.

"Spill!" Serena demanded.

Chuck was about to tell them all that it was a private matter when Blair launched into a very detailed account of their fight and why she was right and he was wrong. He clenched his jaw because the situation had just gone from bad to worse. He signalled the hovering hostess that he was going to need another drink. Leaning back in his chair he listened to his wife really rev as she finished her version of what happened, which was basically exactly what happened except flipped.

"I was just coming out of a serious relationship! I clearly would not have been the one to make the first move!"

"I'd be touched," Nate commented. "If didn't mean that my best friend was so quick to sleep with my girlfriend."

"Ex-Girlfriend." Chuck and Blair pointed out simultaneously.

Nate shrugged with a smile, ever Nate.

Blair smoothed the napkin that lay across her nap, losing the heat of her anger because she felt like her friends would clearly know she was right and Chuck was wrong. "Well, I guess we'll never know because there were only the two of us there. But I will point out… that out of the two of us… my mind is the one least effected by the excesses of life."

Blair hadn't noticed how quiet Serena and Dan had gotten throughout Blair's tale, but her attention was drawn to them now by she shifting looks they were giving each other.

"What?" Blair snapped. "Do you two know something I don't? Is there a sex-tape out there that has gone unexploited? I'll kill you all, but I will want to see the tape. I enjoy any example of my pre-Henry body." Blair finished with a sigh at the body she had only just a year ago.

Chuck's brow furrowed. "You're perfect." He said and he meant it. And it did earn him some points, because she knew he wasn't just paying her lip service.

Her attention was drawn back to Serena when she heard her clear her throat. "Well…"

"Well what?" Blair demanded and her hand slammed on the table. Everyone but Chuck jumped, he put his hand on her thigh trying to soothe her. She slapped it away.

"Don't get involved…" Nate tried to warn under his breath. "Don't get involved…"

"Serena…" Chuck also chimed in. It was one thing for her to be wrong when it was between the two of them, but her being proven wrong in anyway in front of others… It would ruin all the plans that had been made for the next few days.

"Well… "

"WELL?!"

"Well, Waldorf, you made the first move. You kissed him." Dan said bluntly.

"How would you know this?! And why should any of us trust two writers of fiction!"

"Blair…" Serena began tentatively because her friend was going full Blair, even more than usual, and she wanted to calm her down. She also was going to avoid pointing out that Blair was still highly hormonal. Serena didn't have a death wish. "It's just that… Dan and I… we're the only ones, other than yourself, who have read your diary…"

"I don't remember reading this?" Nate mused.

"I only posted selected passages. I never posted that about that night." Dan said, still not acknowledging what a douche move it had been to publish Blair's diary at all.

Blair's face went white. "Thank you all for a lovely evening." Blair said stiffly and got up from the table. "And thank you for ruining yet another of my birthdays. Given that each of you have done so at some point in the past, it's so nice to see you all are working collectively now."

Without another word she turned and headed for coatcheck. An attendant had just helped her on with her coat when Chuck joined her. She didn't even look at him as she stepped outside into the brisk New York fall weather to wait for their limo. Her foot was rapidly tapping as he joined her, and she opened the door herself before Arthur or he could even attempt to. Inside she gave him a look that told him to stay on his side of the car as she gave Arthur instructions. She typed furiously and they didn't speak until they pulled up outside the bank.

Chuck knew exactly where they were and why. A flustered security guard met them at the door, let them in, and took them down to the vault. He opened it for them and left them alone. Blair produced her key and unlocked a large security box. Since the internet episode a few years ago, Blair now kept all of her diaries in the safest bank in New York. She quickly perused the books until she found the one she sought, and pulled it out to flip through it's pages. He watched her as she eyes read her own words, and they widened. She turned away from him, but he saw her shoulders relax, and knew it was safe to step closer.

He stood flush with her back, and placed his chin on her shoulder so he could see her words as well. His hands slid over her hip bones to wrap around her body, pulling him tight to him, and then he read.

Dear Diary,

For the first time ever a non-virgin is writing in you. I don't know what I was thinking?! Yes, I had had a few drinks, and yes he had actually acted like the human being I know lives under his debauched outer shell… BUT LOSING MY VIRGINITY TO CHUCK BASS?! No one will ever understand! I don't even understand! I just remember looking over at him… and he was looking at me like I was all he'd ever wanted… And I just wanted him. I must have been temporarily insane to slide across the seat and just… Wait. He asked me if I was sure? I think he asked me if I was sure? Diary… I'm saying this only to you and even then I may burn you in the fire of a thousand suns… I was more sure of wanting to have sex with him then I'd been about anything in my life. So I kissed him. And then I did a lot more than that. Which is why I need a shower and a priest.

Chuck kissed her neck as he finished reading the entry.

"I remember now." She whispered as she closed the book and set it back in the box.

"Blair, you said so yourself… it was the kiss that started it all."

She nodded and she turned in his arms to face him. She lifted her face to press her lips to his, but he pulled slightly away. "Are you sure?"

She smiled, and leaned up to kiss him, her mouthing finding his, and opening to deepen the kiss. Her hands were reaching for his belt buckle when he ended the hot wet kiss.

"Uh, uh, uh… It's our Limoversary, not our Vaultoversary…" He stepped away from her to smoother the hair she'd mussed with her fingers. "The car is waiting to drive us around the park."

"Why?"

"Because I want to have sex with Blair Waldorf-Bass… and I'm making the first move."

She smiled and her eyes sparkled seductively at him. She happily let him take her hand and lead her out to their waiting limo.

Happy Limoversary indeed.

TahDAH! Seriously, after all these years… Chuck and Blair are still my OTP.

Hope you all enjoyed this little piece! Happy Limoversary!
