SCARED QLESS PART 2

Having been given renewed inspiration from his benefactor the Trickster, the renegade Q now returned to the dark area that he had helped create and started to expand it. It started to move forward very slowly at first, and then it started moving faster and faster as the renegade Q finally started changing the universe into what he wanted it to be at last one piece at a time.

Meanwhile perched just outside of this area, the crew of the Enterprise watched in growing apprehension as the darkness rapidly approached them.

"Captain, should I stay here or should I move away from it?" Mr. Sulu, the helmsman, asked as he privately hoped that Kirk would order the latter but more than willing to do whatever he said.

Kirk briefly pondered his options as his curiosity to see what was inside the darkness weighed against the very real possibility of being destroyed as soon as it enveloped him. He wasn't sure that they would be destroyed instantly, but he couldn't take that chance. His mission was to stop this thing not to fall to it.

"Reverse course. Full impulse," Kirk ordered.

Sulu turned the ship around and started to leave as the dark area continued to expand right behind them. Sulu soon found that no matter how fast he went that the darkness was always just behind him. He couldn't get a safe distance away from it on impulse.

"Should I go to Warp Speed?" Sulu asked.

"Increase speed to Warp 1 or as high as necessary to get away from it," Kirk ordered.

Sulu did so and kept going from one Warp to another in order to outrun it, but he soon found that even at the Enterprise's highest possible speed that the ship was still only just ahead of the darkness!

"He's playing with you, Captain. He could destroy you at any minute, but he's enjoying watching you try to escape. It amuses him," Q said.

"Are you speaking from personal experience?" Clara asked.

Q frowned at her and said nothing while Clara smirked. She really loved putting this smug being in his place.

Rose couldn't help but inwardly smile at Clara in amusement. The two of them really were so alike that they should have been born sisters in her opinion.

While this little battle of egos was going on behind her in the background, Jenny was attempting to use her power to reach out into the darkness and search it. She quickly realized that she couldn't sense anything there. She had absolutely no idea what was going on.

"Well, I can see by the look on your face that this is even worse than we imagined, isn't it?" Buffy asked.

"I can't sense anything inside the darkness. He's blocking me," Jenny said in a worried voice.

"Who is? The other Q?" Buffy asked.

"No. The Trickster. He's the one behind this. That much I can sense but that's it," Jenny said.

"The who?" Buffy asked.

"He's a servant of Discord. He makes deals with people usually desperate people. These deals always wind up benefiting him in some way by helping to create chaos throughout the universe," Eris explained.

"So he's like a demon?" Buffy asked with a smile of anticipation on her face.

"Well, he likes to ruin lives by altering history on a massive scale through appealing to the dark side of people by giving them what they want but shouldn't have so he's certainly similar to one," Eris said.

"That's good enough for me. I really look forward to meeting him now. Me and Mr. Pointy," Buffy said.

"You know it really bothers me that you have a name for your stake," Paige said as she shook her head at Buffy.

"Jealous?" Buffy asked with a grin.

"More like disturbed," Paige said as she tried to hide a smile of her own.

"She's jealous. Don't you think so?" Buffy asked Mary.

Mary said nothing. She was lost in her own world as she continued to worry about what was coming up next.

"Are you alright?" Buffy asked her as she touched her shoulder.

"What? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I'm definitely ready for a fight. Don't you worry about that. I'll go out there with both guns blazing. Literally," Mary said as her two Colts, which she could use to kill almost anything with a single shot in her own universe, suddenly appeared in her hands.

"No one asked if you were ready to fight or not, Mary. I was just asking if you were okay or not. Obviously you're not," Buffy said with concern.

Jenny looked at Mary with compassionate eyes as she said, "If you're not up to this, I'll understand. Do you want to go home? I mean you did just almost die recently or at least it scared you into thinking that you were going to anyway."

Mary became angry as she said, "Are you saying that I'm afraid? Is that it? Well, I'm not afraid. You're not sending me anywhere. I'm staying right here and I'm helping you. I'm a Winchester so that means that I'm not afraid of anything. Got it?"

"I wasn't saying anything about you," Jenny said in an apologetic tone.

Mary then felt terrible because she knew that Jenny was just trying to help her.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you that way. I am afraid, okay? I'm terrified but I won't let you down. I swear that I won't," Mary finally said.

Jenny smiled at her and said, "I know you won't."

Mary smiled back at her even as she couldn't help but think that she was glad that someone knew it because she still wasn't sure about that herself. She couldn't miss the concerned glances between Buffy, Eris, and Paige, and this just made her feel even worse. Jenny however never showed any look of doubt about her whatsoever on her face which just made Mary love her even more.

"Hey, don't worry about it. We all get scared from time to time. I do it a lot. Do you know what I do whenever I'm terrified?" Spider-Man said.

"What?" Mary asked not even bothering to say that she wasn't terrified now.

"I make jokes and deliver snappy banter. Basically I say any stupid, crazy thing that pops into my head as I make fun of whoever or whatever is out to rip me apart. It's a defense mechanism. If you can make whatever's scaring you into something funny, then you can own that fear. If you can own it, then you can control it. Got it?" Spider-Man said.

"Does that really work?" Mary asked.

"Of course it does. I would have hung up these red and blue tights a long time ago if it didn't," Spider-Man said proudly.

"It must work if he's not afraid to walk around in that suit," Paige joked.

"Thanks ever so much," Spider-Man said with a sigh.

"You're welcome," Paige shot back.

Mary laughed and began to feel a bit better as she decided to do what Spider-Man said. She just hoped that it worked or she might never be able to fight again.

Jenny smiled as she saw this and her worry about Mary was at least somewhat lessened even as she still worried about Andromeda who was continuing to hold onto Spock like a lifeline. She couldn't help but wonder when if ever that her sister would regain her confidence back.

Then she shook her head as she pushed those thoughts out of her mind. Andromeda would be back to normal sooner or later. She knew that. She had faith in her that when the time came that she would have her back, and she wasn't giving up on her. Not now. Not ever.

Andromeda meanwhile had no such faith in herself at the moment as she said in a sad voice to Spock, "I'm sorry. I'm keeping you from doing your job aren't I? Thanks for being here for me."

Then she surprised herself and Spock by giving him a short but passionate kiss on the lips. She immediately pulled away from him with an embarrassed look on her face and walked away from him as quickly as she could.

Spock betrayed no signs of emotion as he went back to his post, but Kirk smiled as he watched him. He knew that most people would have thought that what just happened hadn't affected Spock at all from the way that he was acting. Kirk knew better however because Spock was his closest friend. He knew him well enough to know that wasn't the case. He could tell that Spock really cared about Andromeda and was worried about her recent behavior.

As usual though, Spock completely covered his feelings up by performing his duties as a Starfleet officer as he said, "Captain, based on the darkness' current rate of expansion it will reach the nearest inhabited planet, a Federation outpost, in less than an hour. In less than a day, it will reach the first home world of one of the members of the Federation. In less than a week, it will reach Earth. This estimate may change of course if the speed of the expansion progresses which given this Q's near limitless power it very likely will."

Kirk nodded at him with a troubled look on his face as he asked, "How long do we have before it catches us?"

"It may speed up at any time of course, but if it doesn't we should be able to stay ahead of it indefinitely. If we slow down for even an instant though, it will engulf us in less than a minute," Spock said causing an undercurrent of tension to go through the bridge.

"Will we be destroyed instantly when that happens?" Kirk asked Amanda Rogers.

"Possibly. We have no way of knowing. Even the Q don't know what's going on inside there. I'm sorry that I can't tell you more," Amanda apologized.

"It's alright. We're just going to have to find out more about what's going on somehow. We can't keep wasting time doing nothing," Kirk said in frustration.

"I'll go in there and see what I can find out," Rose volunteered.

"Mum, no!" Jenny protested.

"Don't worry, Jen. I'm pretty sure that I can keep myself from being affected by whatever's happening in there," Rose said confidently.

"Pretty sure? No. Pretty sure's not good enough, Mum. You're still too weakened by your fight with River to be sure of anything right now. I'm going in there," Jenny insisted.

"No, you're not. I'm going to deal with this because with the Trickster involved anything could happen," Rose said firmly.

"Sorry, Mum. It's going to be me not you," Jenny said as she instantly teleported away.

"No!" Rose said.

"Calm down. She's a lot tougher than you think. Trust me," Eris said as she put a restraining hand on her shoulder.

"You don't understand. It's supposed to be me. That's why I came here. Every possible future timeline all had me going into the darkness first. I don't know what will happen with her doing it instead," Rose said in distress.

"You'll just have to find out like the rest of us then won't you? Now you'll be just as much in the dark as we will. I think that you've gotten way too comfortable with knowing what's going on before everyone else does anyway. It'll be good for you to live like one of us ordinary mortals for a while," Eris said with a small smile.

"Do you think that this is funny?" Rose said in anger.

"No. I'm just trying to keep you from worrying about her. I'm worried about her too you know. I love her just like she was my own child," Eris admitted as she allowed a trace of worry to show on her face now too.

"I know. Sorry," Rose said.

"She'll be alright. I know she will," Eris said as she embraced her former enemy who was now one of her closest friends.

Rose couldn't help but smile and remain hopeful as she thought that if a shared love and concern for Jenny could help bring the two formerly bitter enemies together like this that maybe just maybe her daughter could do anything if she put her mind to it. She was a lot like both of her parents that way.

"Spock, can you sense her life signs?" Andromeda asked as she came up beside Spock at the science station.

"No, the Enterprise's sensors can't reach inside of the darkness. That doesn't mean that she's dead however just that we can't detect her from here," Spock said.

"I hope you're right," Andromeda said as she continued to stay by Spock's side and watch the readings that were constantly coming in over his shoulder.

"That's it. The Q have decided. We can't allow anyone else to be lost. We're going to attack the darkness simultaneously in every time zone. That means that you and I are going in there together, Q," Amanda said.

"As you wish but I must say that I don't have much hope of our making it out of this one. Of course, I must admit that it intrigues me to go out in a blaze of glory fighting the good fight. I wonder what I should wear for the occasion," Q pondered and then he snapped his fingers and went from wearing a Starfleet Admiral's uniform to the outfit of a cowboy wearing a set of six shooters.

"You always were a bit too theatrical for your own good, Q. I never understood this obsession of yours with costumes myself," Amanda said with a frown.

"You have to dress to fit the part, Q. Right now my part is of a man going out to face certain death and ready to die with his boots on. It's a bit clichéd I suppose, but it definitely fits the current situation I believe," Q said proudly.

"Whatever," Amanda said with a slight smile.

Kirk suddenly came to a decision as he saw the two Q ready to go into what they thought was certain death in order to defend all of them. Could he do no less?

"There's no need for either of you to move. We're all about to see what's in there together. Mr. Sulu, take the ship into the darkness," Kirk ordered.

Everyone looked at one another as the Enterprise began to turn around and headed into the void.

"I guess we'll find out what happened to Jenny soon enough then," Eris said to Rose.

Neither of them noticed a lone yeoman on Kirk's crew who was showing just a bit too much curiosity about Jenny's TARDIS. She hated herself for doing this especially during the current crisis, but she had to get the secrets of the TARDIS by any means necessary. She would continue to keep using her tricorder to slowly gain them at every opportunity until she was finished, and then she would silently slip away with them without anyone ever being the wiser.

The object of everyone else but the yeoman's concern meanwhile was shocked to find herself back on Messaline or at least what looked like Messaline at any rate. Jenny slowly walked through the corridors of the place where she was born with trepidation as she tried to suppress a growing fear.

What if her whole life up to this point had just been a dream and she was still on Messaline? Maybe she had never left.

"It's very convincing isn't it?" A voice said behind her.

She whirled around to face a man who looked to be in his late 30s to early 40s with a fierce look on his face. He was wearing the same clothing as the soldiers of Messaline once had. Jenny noticed that he too liked to dress for the part just like the other Q.

"Yes, it is. So you're converting this universe into a new version of the Q Continuum? Is that it?" Jenny asked.

The renegade Q nodded as he said, "Yes, everything is becoming just like the Continuum now which will be seen by others however I wish it to be seen. Right now I'm making it look like your home world after plucking an image of it from your mind. It's so realistic that it actually had you believing that you were back there. That shows that I've done a good job at extending the Continuum to this part of the universe as well. That's just as well because we'll have no need for anything else after all because soon all that will exist will be the Q, and the Q will all be me."

"You're allowing me to exist here however or are you unable to affect me?" Jenny asked.

The renegade Q said nothing which made Jenny smile as she said, "That's what I thought. You're powerful, Q, but you're not that powerful. Not yet. That means there's still hope then. There's still time to stop you."

"You're very much mistaken, child. The only reason that I'm not wiping you out even as we speak is because I'm currently engaging in combat with all of my brother and sister Qs all through time and space. Right now they're keeping me from doing anything to you, but rest assured that I will remedy that situation just as soon as I defeat them. You will be next, Guardian. I promise you that," The renegade Q said in an ominous tone.

Jenny's smile faded somewhat but her optimism remained as she said, "That means that I still have time to stop you though so I have to make that count for something."

The renegade Q smiled in amusement as he said, "Do you really think that you'll make a difference if the whole of the Q can't? Go ahead and try, Time Lady. I could use a bit of entertainment."

Jenny began to attack him now with everything that she had as the renegade laughed at her and didn't seem affected by anything that she did to him whatsoever. Jenny was beginning to think that maybe coming here alone like this wasn't her best idea.

Meanwhile the Enterprise emerged over the landscape of a world that looked just a bit too much like Pete's World for Rose's comfort. Rose shuddered as a wave of confusion went through Clara's mind after she picked up on Rose's thoughts.

"You're seeing Pete's World?" Clara asked.

"Yeah, aren't you?" Rose asked intrigued.

"I wouldn't know it if I saw it. What I'm seeing is the inside of the Doctor's timestream," Clara said.

"It's actually the Q Continuum. He's wiping out the physical world and replacing it with the Continuum. Then he's making you all see it as looking like the one place that you fear going back to the most. He's playing mind games with you to keep you from attacking him while he fights with the Q," Amanda warned.

"He seems to be doing a very good job of it too," Q said as he made a sweeping gesture across the Enterprise's bridge.

Most of the crew were either watching the viewscreen in terror or looking around them as if they weren't even on the bridge anymore as they saw their own worst fears projected around them. For Andromeda and Mary, it seemed to be the latter coming true as they both stiffened in fear.

"Andromeda, wherever you think that we are, it's not real," Eris said as she put a comforting hand on her daughter's shoulder.

"To me, it's like we're back in the Emperor's quarters on Coruscant. It seems so real. If you weren't here, I'd think that it was," Andromeda admitted.

"Same here. I'm half afraid the Emperor's going to walk in and start attacking us again at any minute," Mary admitted.

"Captain, this fear effect that the renegade Q is attacking the crew with is becoming worse and worse by the moment. Soon none of you will be able to determine what is and isn't real," Spock reported.

"You're not affected, Mr. Spock?" Kirk asked in a voice that said that he wasn't too surprised by this.

"Not at the moment, Captain. It's probably because I have nothing for it to effect. I may have to take control of the ship if the effect becomes any worse," Spock proposed.

"If it does, then you have my full permission to do so. So far I'm able to keep my own fears under control though," Kirk assured him.

It was obvious to Spock however that Andromeda wasn't able to say the same thing as she gripped Spock's shoulder tighter and tighter by the moment. Something, perhaps the human part of him, made him grab her other hand in his and squeeze it for a moment to give her a bit of reassurance. Andromeda smiled and grabbed his hand back and refused to let it go. Uncharacteristically for him, he didn't try to pull it away from her.

That was when things became much worse as everyone was suddenly subjected to their worst fears at full force.

Andromeda and Mary were suddenly reliving the recent attack on them by the Emperor, and both of them started screaming in terror. Rose really started to believe that she was back on Pete's World and started succumbing to complete and utter despair. Clara whimpered as she thought that she was trapped in the Doctor's timestream once again. Spider-Man was trapped in his worst fear as he saw his old girlfriend Gwen Stacy falling to her doom right in front of him once again. Paige saw her sisters dying in front of her and was unable to stop it. Buffy saw her old boyfriend Angel in full evil mode as Angelus, the demon inside of him, had taken control of him once more and was attacking her with murder in his eyes. Kirk saw the Enterprise crashing and taking the entire crew with it. Eris meanwhile saw Andromeda looking at her with hatred and fear and completely rejecting her. She may have screamed the loudest of all of them.

The ship started going out of control as Spock took command of it in a desperate attempt to keep it from crashing if there was anything to crash into in this new world that is. Spock wasn't eager to find out as he continued to do his best to keep the ship fully functioning even as he fought his own fears and continuously told himself that they weren't real.

He saw himself ruining Andromeda's life because he couldn't give her the love that he knew that she deserved.

Q and Amanda Rogers meanwhile had already left the ship to engage the renegade Q directly in battle alongside the other Q. Nothing seemed to be working though. The renegade seemed to be virtually invincible.

Jenny was still doing her best to attack the renegade Q also even as she tried to block out the horrible moment that she was shot by Cobb which she kept experiencing over and over again. It was taking all of her willpower not to become a whimpering mess on the floor after a few minutes of this.

"This is wonderful. It's better than I had ever dared to hope for," the Trickster said as he appeared next to the renegade and watched the horrified look on Jenny's face.

"I can feel the other Q weakening and so is the Guardian. We've almost done it," The renegade Q told him with an ugly, bitter smile plastered all over his face.

"Any moment now, my worst enemies will be gone forever and swept from the board," the Trickster said with a cackle.

"Oh, I don't think so, Tricky," A voice that was simultaneously filled with both joy and deep anger suddenly said behind him.

The Trickster turned his head to see the Doctor standing there next to the last person that he ever expected to see with him. Discord.

"I've brought your boss to see you, Tricky. She really doesn't like what you've been up to lately. I think someone's about to get fired," the Doctor said with a smirk.

The Doctor had been secretly following Rose in the TARDIS because he was worried about her in her weakened state despite the trouble that would surely be coming his way if she found out about it. He was now glad that he had followed her because he had realized that she and the others were in trouble and had immediately gone to bring back the one person who could handle the Trickster better than anyone else.

Then the Doctor's expression of triumph instantly changed as he saw that Jenny was in pain. He immediately moved to be by her side as he said, "Jenny, it's not real. Whatever you're seeing isn't real."

"Dad?" Jenny said in a voice filled with terror.

"It's going to be okay, Jenny. Just hold on a bit longer," The Doctor said in a worried tone.

"I'm trying but it just seems so real. It really does feel like I'm being shot all over again," Jenny said in an emotional voice.

"I know. I'm so sorry, Jenny," The Doctor said as he glared at both the Trickster and the renegade Q for causing her so much pain.

The Trickster was too caught up in seeing Discord again however to notice the Doctor giving him the full Oncoming Storm glare nearby. The Trickster looked at Discord in disbelief as he wondered if she were truly real or not. She certainly didn't look or act anything like herself and yet he could tell that it was really her without a doubt. He could also tell something else. She was very, very angry with him.

"Mistress, I've been trying to find you but I couldn't. I couldn't find you anywhere," The Trickster said to Discord in an apologetic tone.

"There's a reason for that. I didn't want you to find me. Up until recently, I was hiding on Earth as a human so that no one could find me. I didn't even know who I was myself, and I didn't want to know," Discord said.

The Trickster could now see that she wasn't lying. She was still human. She hadn't even bothered to change herself back to her original form.

"What?" The Trickster said in disbelief.

"By the way, the name is no longer Discord. It's Erin. Erin Reese. That's the human name that I've gone under for so long now, and I think that I'll keep it," Erin/Discord said.

"This cannot be! What has the Doctor done to you?" The Trickster said in complete shock.

"It looks like you're getting a taste of your own medicine, doesn't it? Only this is no illusion, Tricky. This is all too real," The Doctor said between gritted teeth.

"When I came back to life, I was ashamed of what I had done. I no longer wanted anything to do with my past so I hid. Now though I realize that I can do a lot of good with my power, and I can use it to stop things like this from happening. Stand down and stop helping the renegade Q, Trickster, or you're going to have to face off against me as well. I really hope that you know better than to try and do that," Erin said in a cold tone.

"I can't believe this. You've betrayed us. You betrayed all of us by becoming one of them," The Trickster said in disgust.

"So you're not going to leave then? Are you really sure about this?" Erin said in a threatening voice.

The Trickster's face became twisted with anger as he said, "Oh, yes. If you want war, then you've got it. You'll pay for your betrayal of us. Now I am the new leader of the Pantheon of Discord, and you're going to find that I'm not the pushover that you believe me to be. I've found the Black Scrolls of Rassilon, and I've mastered all of the forbidden knowledge of the early days of the Time Lords that is contained within them. Now I have power like you've never imagined before."

"You have no idea what power truly is, Trickster. Let me show you," Erin said as she suddenly attacked the Trickster with a massive blast of energy that sent him flying several feet away.

"Wonderful. I think I just made things worse," The Doctor said with a frown as he watched the former Discord and the Trickster fighting with one another.

"Dad, why aren't you being affected too?" Jenny asked.

"Discord, I mean Erin, is protecting me. I don't know how much longer that'll last though since she's probably going to need all of the power that she can get to fight with old Tricky over there," The Doctor said in a sad voice as the entire area started being rocked by massive explosions.

Jenny knew she had to think of something quickly or this was going to be the end of everything for this universe and possibly even her own. She had to have the others with her. She was going to need all of the help that she could get this time.

The Doctor could guess what she was thinking so he said, "Call them, Jenny. I'll help you to clear your mind so that you can reach them. Just focus on my voice. Concentrate on it and not on what the renegade Q is showing you."

Jenny stopped attacking the renegade who wasn't really concerned with her at the moment anyway (he was too busy simultaneously battling the other Q on all planes of existence at once to care) and did as the Doctor said. The Doctor continued to talk to her in a gentle comforting voice as she concentrated on him instead of the illusion that she was seeing. As she did so, she telepathically called out to her family and friends to come and help her.

No matter how hard she tried she didn't seem to be reaching anyone, but she continued to make the attempt to despite that. This just had to work.

"Jenny?" Andromeda said as she very faintly heard her sister's voice through her delusions.

Andromeda, can't you come up with some way to block this from everyone's minds? I need you and the others here to help me. Jenny asked as Andromeda felt a wave of euphoria coming from Jenny at having finally reached someone.

I – I can't do anything. I'm useless. I can't save you. I can't save anyone. Andromeda said as a torrent of self-pity engulfed her that was only made worse by the renegade Q using her own fear over having frozen before the Emperor against her.

Yes, you can. You can do this. I believe in you, Andromeda. You always come up with some kind of gadget to help us save the day. Please. Help me. Jenny pleaded.

Andromeda, you've got to do this. If you don't, we'll all die. I know you don't want that. Let's just work together and come up with a way to shield everyone's minds. It'll be like a father-daughter project. How about it? It would be the coolest thing ever to get to save the day with you. I've saved the day before but never with you. The Doctor said telepathically as he broke into Jenny and Andromeda's communications.

Why would you want to? I'm useless. Andromeda replied.

No, you're not. You're my little girl, Andromeda, and you're in no way useless. I love you, Andromeda. I love you just as much as I love Jenny and all of the rest of my children. I've gotten to save the day by working with Jenny and the rest of my kids plenty of times but never with you before. That makes me feel horribly left out so how about it? How about you work with me to save the day this time so I won't feel so bad anymore, eh? The Doctor answered.

Both he and Jenny could hear Andromeda laugh mentally, and they smiled at each other as they knew that they had her. The Doctor and Jenny then continued to talk to Andromeda as the three of them pooled their brainpower together as Andromeda fought through her fear and started to put something together to block the Q's influence on her mind from bits and pieces of the Enterprise and whatever she found handy in her pockets.

"Andromeda?" Spock asked as he saw her doing this.

"I'm trying to save the day, Spock. How about that? I don't know if I can or not, but Dad and Jen seem to think I can so I'm going to do my best for their sake. Let's see what I can come up with," Andromeda said as she tried to do her best to smile as if nothing was bothering her.

As Andromeda started to come up with something, Mary meanwhile started to make fun of the Emperor in her delusion and crack jokes about how ugly that he looked. Even as she thought she felt him sticking his lightsaber in her heart yet again, she still continued to make wisecracks about him. Then she suddenly found to her surprise that he was no longer there.

"I did it! I broke myself free!" Mary shouted in triumph.

"Good for you. It won't work forever though. I broke free a few times too. It'll come back sooner or later unless I can get this mental wave blocker to work that will isolate the Q's specific assault on our minds and keep it from reaching them. Maybe you can bring us all together though. Could you bring us to Jen or go to her yourself?" Andromeda asked.

"I can try," Mary said as she teleported to where she could now feel Jenny's mind calling out to her.

As soon as she arrived, Mary saw the renegade Q just standing there ignoring them as he continued to fight who he thought was a real threat. She smiled evilly as she wondered if she could use that to her advantage.

Mary pulled out her Colts and said, "You know I've often wondered if the Colt works in other dimensions or not. Let's satisfy my curiosity."

Then she shot the renegade Q with both of her Colts right in the head!

"No!" The Trickster shouted as he felt the renegade Q dying.

Mary looked at her guns in surprise as she said, "I never really thought it would work."

"It didn't. At least it didn't all by itself. The same minute that you shot the renegade, Andromeda turned her machine on and used it to block his attack on everyone else's minds. It didn't just do that though. It also sent his own attack back against him and made him experience his own fear: falling to the other Q. That fear made him lose his fight with them, and they turned him into an ordinary human. Your bullets then finished him off just like any ordinary bullets would. It all worked out exactly like Andromeda, Dad, and I planned it except for you shooting him," Jenny explained.

"Huh. I guess I still don't know if the guns really work or not then," Mary said.

"They work well enough for me. Put them away," The Doctor ordered in an angry voice.

"She didn't know that he was defenseless, Dad. She was trying to save our lives," Jenny protested.

"I still don't like them. Put them away," The Doctor said.

"Fine. I wouldn't have shot him if I had known that all of that was going on though," Mary said.

"She really wouldn't have," Jenny reassured her father.

The Doctor nodded and said, "Sorry."

"It's okay," Mary said smiling.

At that moment, nothing was bothering her. She had finally gotten her self-confidence back. She would no longer be afraid of fighting alongside Jenny again.

That was a good thing too because it seemed as if the Trickster wasn't about to give up anytime soon.

Even as the renegade Q died and the other Q started undoing the changes that he had made all around them, the Trickster continued to fight with Erin. He was so furious with her that he wasn't going to back down until he had completely humiliated her for what she had done.

They didn't even stop fighting when the area that they were in suddenly changed from a copy of Messaline to deep space once more. Mary quickly teleported herself, Jenny, and the Doctor into his TARDIS before it was too late since she wasn't sure if she could survive in space or not and she knew that Time Lords only could for a limited time without air which they didn't have since the sudden change had taken them by complete surprise. The Doctor immediately dematerialized the TARDIS and took it to the Enterprise which left Erin and the Trickster still fighting it out all by themselves.

They may have continued that way for hours more if Rose, Jenny, and Eris hadn't suddenly returned and joined Erin in the fight. The four of them, three Guardians of Time and an Elder Goddess, working together soon had the Trickster even with all of his increased power on the run as he knew that he couldn't take them all on at once by himself.

"This isn't the end. You'll pay for this, Discord. We won't allow you to simply change your mind and leave your proper role. You will come back to lead us whether you like it or not. The universe needs you to fight for the side of chaos not order. Have no doubts that you'll be seeing me again, 'Mistress'," The Trickster said as he teleported away.

Suddenly Jenny received another vision which made her gasp in surprise as Rose said telepathically, Blimey! What now? I would have thought that all of this was enough for one day!

Someone's trying to steal the secrets of my TARDIS. If they do, they'll use it to change the balance of power for this whole universe. I have to stop them. Jenny responded as she quickly teleported away back to the Enterprise.

I wonder what that's all about. Rose thought to herself.

Jenny arrived just in time to see one of Captain Kirk's yeomen sneaking away from behind her TARDIS. No one else had even spotted her. If Jenny hadn't received that vision, she would have completely gotten away with whatever it was that she had just done.

Jenny quickly tackled the yeoman to the ground and said, "Okay, lady, what did you just do?"

She found a tricorder in the yeoman's hand that she could automatically tell had recorded vital information about her TARDIS on it. It may or may not have been enough information to help someone in this time discover any of its secrets, but she couldn't take that chance so she immediately incinerated it with a burst of Vortex energy from her hand.

"That's definitely a no no, miss. Sorry but your lot isn't supposed to have that type of knowledge," Jenny said.

Then she gasped as she took her first real look at the yeoman's face and realized that she looked just like Clara!

"Clarissa Oswald, I'm ashamed of you," Clara said as she confronted her echo who looked exactly like her except she had red hair.

"You mean you have echoes in other universes too?" Jenny asked surprised.

Clara nodded as she said, "I have them in every alternate reality that the Doctor has ever visited. He has been here once before after all. Clarissa, what was going through your head? You know that no one should have the secrets of the TARDIS."

"I had to do it. Section 31 was threatening my family if I didn't get them. I don't know what I'll do now without them," Clarissa said in despair.

"Section 31?" Jenny asked.

"Oh, I've heard of them. They're a super secret part of the Federation with their own hidden agenda who will do anything to gain power for themselves. They're like this universe's version of the Celestial Intervention Agency. They're just as bad too. I'm sure they'd just love to get their hands on the secrets of the TARDIS," the Doctor said.

"Why don't we give them to them then?" Rose said with an evil smile on her face.

"Bad Wolf Virus?" the Doctor said with a knowing smile.

"Absolutely," Rose said.

"Wait a minute though. Won't they still hurt Clarissa's family when they discover she gave it to them?" Jenny asked.

"No, not the way I'm doing it. They'll think that they've actually gotten something from her and as soon as they download this false information that will lead them absolutely nowhere they'll also get my virus. The virus will stay hidden in their computers for weeks, and then it will suddenly decide to just completely wipe them all one day out of the blue. They'll never know that it was Clarissa that did it to them," Rose said giggling.

"Oh, I like that. I'd love to find a way to stick it to them for what they've put me through," Clarissa said.

Rose nodded and snapped her fingers. Another tricorder then appeared with false readings and the virus on it in her hand. Clarissa eagerly took it and left.

"I'd like to know how Section 31 even knew that the TARDIS was here," Jenny said.

"If they're anything like the C.I.A., they probably have a mole here who's always reporting everything out of the ordinary to them," the Doctor said.

"I hope they didn't just overhear what we said then," Jenny said as this suddenly occurred to her.

"Don't worry. No one saw anything. I just erased everyone else's mind of this whole incident and removed it from the ship's computer as well. They can blame it on the fight as far as I'm concerned," Rose said.

"Well, did that fix things, Chinnette?" Clara asked.

"Chinnette?" Jenny said with a frown.

"You're Chinny's daughter right? That makes you Chinnette!" Clara said happily.

Jenny glared at her as she said, "That fixes everything except that horrible nickname. Their little plan just got completely derailed."

"Now you know how I feel about her calling me Chin Boy," the Doctor said to Jenny with a grin.

Clara punched him in the arm as the Doctor quickly said, "I love it. That's how I feel."

"Sure you do," Clara said as she rolled her eyes at him.

"Well, on that note I guess it's time for all of us to go then," Jenny said.

"Yes, I agree. Can you take Clara with you?" the Doctor asked.

He yelled as Clara punched him again and Jenny said with a smile, "I'd better not. I could do without a bruised arm."

"So could I but I never seem to make it through the day without getting a few bruises on it here and there. Good bye, everyone. It's been fun. I forgot just how much fun the old Enterprise was to be on. I'll have to visit again sometime," the Doctor said as he and Rose/Clara went into his TARDIS.

As the TARDIS dematerialized, Captain Kirk said in a depressed voice, "I can hardly wait."

"I guess we should leave now too. Are you going with us, Erin?" Jenny asked.

"Thanks but I'll go back to Earth by myself. I'm sure that you don't want me around for too long after what I did to all of you, and I can't say that I blame you," Erin said.

Then she surprised Jenny by beginning to cry as she said, "I'm so sorry for making you into the War Lord. I'm sorry for everything but especially for that because of how much it made you and Belle both suffer. I know you won't be able to forgive me, but I just wanted you to know that."

Jenny had to admit that she was still furious with her about that. She also had to admit something else. She had wanted the others to forgive her for what she had done while she was the War Lord so she couldn't do any less for Discord who honestly was sorry for what she had done.

She surprised Erin by embracing her and saying, "I do forgive you."

Erin gladly embraced her back and said with a warm smile, "Thank you."

Then she teleported away leaving Jenny standing there with a smile of her own. She had a feeling that she was going to become as close to the former Discord as she was to Eris, and she truly looked forward to it if she was anything like her Eris.

"I'm not sure I could have done that if I had been her," Buffy admitted to Andromeda.

"It doesn't surprise me. That's just who she is. She has the biggest hearts of anyone I've ever met," Andromeda said proudly.

"She takes after her parents in that way too. So are you alright now?" Eris asked Andromeda.

Andromeda smiled from ear to ear as she said, "I'm great. I just saved an entire universe, and I did it alongside Dad. Who could ask for more? Well, I could ask for something else, but I think I'll just let that sleeping dog lie."

"Spock?" Eris asked knowingly.

"Yeah, I like him but I don't think it'll work out with us being in different universes and all. The fact that he showed any interest in me at all though tells me that I shouldn't give up on finding someone in my own universe. What do you think?" Andromeda asked.

"I think that sometimes you're just as thick as your father. It certainly took you long enough to come to that conclusion," Eris said with a grin.

"You'll just have to pardon us Lungbarrows, Mum. Hard heads just seem to run in the family," Andromeda said.

"Speak for yourself," Jenny said with a grin.

Then as they all started to get in the TARDIS and leave, Andromeda said her final good byes to Spock and gave him a kiss on the cheek as she said, "I'm sorry that I can't stay because I really like you, Spock. I'm not sure if you like me or not or even if you can love me, but I just wanted you to know that. Don't worry though. I'll be seeing you again. You can count on it. Well, I just wanted to say before I go, thank you. You were doing your best to help me to regain my self-confidence again, and I really appreciate that. I wanted you to know that I'm okay now and part of that is thanks to you. Good bye, Spock."

Spock raised his hand and gave her the Vulcan salute as he said, "Live long and prosper, Andromeda."

Spock remained as emotionless as ever as he watched her get into the TARDIS and saw it dematerialize. He could see Kirk watching him closely to see if he could spot any sign of an emotional reaction. He never gave him one though.

It wasn't until afterwards when he was alone in his room that he allowed himself one brief smile as he thought of Andromeda. He was half-human after all.

Next: It's my first attempt at a SuperWhoLock crossover as the Alternaverse Gang follows Mary home to my Supernatural universe for a visit only to find that somehow Sherlock and John have crossed dimensions and have absolutely no idea how they got there. It all seems to tie into a case that Sam and Dean are investigating that sounds remarkably similar to one that Sherlock and John were on in their world. Could they both be the same case somehow? Jenny and her gang are determined to find out. Plus a member of the group decides to leave. Who will it be and why?
