It was all darkness and cold around her, nothing but silence. She had been here before many times in her sleep after she had returned from her memories with Alexis. Her mind she felt was trying to tell her something and it had been not too long ago since she figured out what it was and what was really going on in her head.

In the darkness were she stood she had the strangest feeling she was not alone and after a few times wondering she found out someone was there with her just not as calm as she was.

She could hear screams of pain and anger. Yells of frustration and anguish and the worst of it all was that she knew from who they came from.

She tried to reach the voice but she could never get to it as if something prevented her from it.

"Luna!" She opened her eyes with a start, her heart fluttering at the scare. She saw it had been Max, her reddish hair all over her red and black hair band that made her look more like a pirate. She seemed to know what was going on with Luna but her eyes told her she was trying hard not to say anything. "You alright?"

"Why did you wake me up?" - Luna tried to get up still feeling the effects of sleep around her body.

"You were having a nightmare and you were going to wake the boys up so..."

"Max, why are you doing this?" - Luna didn't look at Max as she asked her the question that had bugged her the moment Max had agreed to come with them. "Is it because of Alexander?"

"Hey, you know you will have to fight your brother right?"

"What does that have to do with what I asked you?"

"Just so you understand my feelings." Luna turned around facing Max confused.

"Yeah, I know I will have to fight Ben but I also plan on not giving up on any of them."

"Even if one of you had to die?" Max's eyes were hard but Luna could rival her stare with her own determination.

"It's not as if I never thought of it but I wont let it happen, not if I have a say on all of this."

"Peter and Alexander used to be best friends so I understand why they have so much trouble when they face each other everytime. Since I have a friend of my own I worry about." Max looked down as if feeling defeat at her current state. But Luna realized what she meant and she was not sure how she knew but she was sure of it.

"Cindilu..."

"She's like my little sister. We were orphaned when we were very small and it was during that time we met Peter and Alexis and then Alexander came one night and took Cindy away to Neverland because I almost got her killed. She became a pirate on Alexis's ship while I was taken by Smee, we saw each other sometimes but she had changed, it was all Alexis in her eyes and she would do anything for him."

"Yeah, I noticed that." Luna saw Max looked hurt and alone and it made her feel fear of what she was going to say.

"I told the boys not to tell you anything but... You know that they survived the explosion, right?"

"Yeah... "

"Cindy was the one who got them out from there in time. She didn't make it out she was captured by the Shadow Boys and they have her for ransom in case we fight."

"Then we get her out or just ask Alexander to get her."

"You still don't get it do you? Alexis isn't the one who calls the shots anymore he never was..." - Luna wanted to ask her but by doing so she would need to accept what she was certain would be close to impossible for her and she wanted to keep on believing in her own little lie even for a little longer.

"Hey girls, is something wrong?" They both jumped as Nick approached them. They both glared at him annoyed at his interruption. "Ok, what did I do now?" - Nick looked defeated.

"Nothing I just can't seem to understand how Peter still has you in his team." - Max said her head up high.

"Baby, why cant you accept you have a thing for foxes like me? Don't worry Luna, you'll still be my foxy lady." - Luna rolled her eyes as Max walked close to him and hit him in the head.

"Are we close to it?"

"Yeah, it's just over that mountain," - Nick pointed for Luna. "It was left there to rot so I'm not sure how its condition is."

"Why did Peter left it there?"

"It was Alexander who did it, the idiot went on a full rampage a month after he parted ways with us."

"And how are we taking it to Neverland?"

"Luna, we have to keep on believing." - Nick said giving her a smile. "Or we will never make it."

"Of course," Luna answered walking away.

They were to go to the mountains to find a ship, but not just any ship, it was The Jolly Roger, Captain Hook's old ship that Peter had taken from him when he had killed him. Alexander had left it abandoned near the mountains which cost them a 3 hour trip away from Lunas' hometown. They were going to use it as base when they got to Neverland but Luna was still worried about it. She was sure she was not going to be able to go not without help from Peter. They all knew how to fly and she still had not gotten the magic. it was frustrating and scary at the same time. She and Max had gotten close during their little adventure, now knowing about Cindilu, it made since to her why she was the way she was.

"When will I be able to fly?" she whispered as she looked to the starry sky.

"When you let go of your fears." Luna turned and saw Max walking towards her. "You can't fly if you think you will fall, also sadness will keep you down."

"Can you fly?"

"Yes, but I'm not so fond of it. Now the sea, that's a sight to enjoy." - She smiled at Luna. "Why don't you ask Silver Bell to help you Luna?"

"Girls, lets go, we are very close we need to keep moving!" Marcus yelled at them and the girls went running.

"Hey Max, have you told the boys I'm having nightmares?"

"No, I guessed you weren't fond of the idea."

"You're right, I'm not, so please keep it a secret."

It took them about 30 minutes, but they finally reached the opening in the mountains. It was cold and breezy and Luna was amazed when she saw the Jolly Roger in person. It was huge, it really looked like a picture from the book itself. It rested at the end of the mountains away from the water it was born to sail in.

As she stared at it it got her to think the ending of her journey was nearing as the boys got near the sail and it made her sad. The boys seemed to be talking business on how to get the ship out of its slumber.

"So how are we going to get it up to Neverland?" - Luna asked Max who was next to her.

"It's going to take us sometime to get this ship over to Neverland 'cause we can't use the fairies's magic."

"Why?"

"Because no one but Peter knows were Fairy Hollow is," Max said walking around looking at the ship. "I guess going in a small group is dangerous considering Neverland is in chaos right now."

Luna focused on the ship and looked at the boys, she felt her energy rise as she thought of protecting them. She knew that Alexis will hold on to their deal and that gave her small hope in what she planned to do.

"What if I go?"

"Have you lost your mind?"

"Peter is dying, he is suffering and we are here doing nothing at all! I can't just sit here and wait for you guys to plan how to move this ship. I get we need it for cover but isn't getting to Peter our main priority?"

"Luna you can't even fly, so basically you are dependant of us and don't go saying we don't care about getting Peter, it's not even funny."

"Max, I have a feeling I can find Fairy Hollow and get to Peter," - Luna held the pocket watch in her hand feeling its coldness around her fingers.

"I'm going with you," - Max said with determination.

"No, Max, you can't."

"Oh don't give me that crap! You can't even fight nor fly and you want to go alone to get Peter?"

"What even gives you the idea that I'm going to try something so stupid as a solo rescue?" Luna realized that Max had heard of her from the boys she had a way of getting into trouble.

"Really, you're trying to pull that on me?"

"I'm going alone, you need to stay with the boys and keep my cover that I went back home."

"Not even paying them will make them believe that stupid excuse."

"Please Max, listen..."

"No, you listen! Smee didn't tell me to join the boys he asked me to watch out for you and I'm doing this because I actually care for you."

"And because you like Nick..."

"Yes and because I li... WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Max lost it as she backed away from Luna, eyes wide.

"You don't hide it very well, Max, and well I think it's cute."

"I DON'T."

"Don't what?" - Nick asked as he appeared next to Max.

"AHH!"

Luna had to hide her giggles as Max held Nick to the ground cursing him and hitting him like a little gir.l

"You bastard, you think this is funny?"

"Max, I swear I don't know what you talking about!"

"Guys... calm down!" Luna said as Max seemed red as her hair.

"You're an animal, woman! Look at my clothes! You perv!" Nick told Max as he got away from her.

"Nick, please keep your mouth shut." Luna begged him. "What are you even here for, you damn fox?"

"I was worried you were planing something crazy."

"You're not my babysitter, Nick."

"I know," Nick gave her a serious look. "I just wanted you to know I have your back in what ever crazy thing you want to do."

"This is a girls club, get out!" Max pulled on his hair.

"Ouch, Max!"

"Listen Nick, just keep the boys away from Neverland until I return."

"Wait, what's your plan? You can't just stroll into Neverland alone!"

"I'm not, Max will go with me," she said winking at her. "You stay, I need you here, I can get the fairy dust to get the ship over to Neverland, you just have to trust me."

"Wait. what are you..." Nick looked worried.

"Nick, I need you for a moment will you help me?" Luna asked her eyes hopeful.

"Sure, what is it?"

"Take me up to the sky."

"Wait, what!? You want me to take you up there? Luna even so I...

"I didn't finish," she held his hands. "I want you to take me up and drop me." Nick and Max gave her the 'you are crazy' look but she stayed calm. "Peter never hesitated for me so I won't for him. You need pixie dust? I'll find Pixie Hollow, I'll get to Peter and we can all end this together."

"Luna..." Nick closed his eyes, taking it all in.

"I will fly, I have to Fly because if I don't I can't get to the star that's waiting for the moon to wake him up."

"Lets do it," Max and Nick said together.

Nick took Luna into his arms not looking at her in the eye, but turning to Silver Bell he nodded to the pixie to give him a shot of dust the same for Max who carried the bags.

"Hold on to me," he whispered to Luna as he took flight to the night sky at full speed followed by Max. "Max, stay close to the lower levels in case she does not make it."

"Alright, good Luck Luna!"

The air was cold cutting into Luna's face. She still remained with her eyes open looking at Nick's concentration.

"You know you're not a bad flyer, Nick."

"I can't keep this up for much longer, only Peter flies high altitudes in this world."

"What? But..."

"I'm doing my best too, so I guess this is a way of mine to tell you I'm with you both till the end."

"Wait, Nick you will be able to land safely right?"

"Heh... No idea," he smiled at her as she held him closer not wanting to lose faith in him or his wish.

"You survive, you hear me? Survive until I get back!" she said as Nick got to a stop.

"Luna, fight until your last breath and don't ever give up, got it? I'm counting on you," she nodded to him, tears in his eyes as if she was saying good bye. Luna looked down and felt vertigo holding Nick even harder. "I believe in you Luna, do you believe in yourself?"

She closed her eyes as she tried to remember his face, his voice.

"Luna... Stay safe."

"I never meant to harm you I just wanted you to stay with me."

Then she remembered that night when he took her away.

"You need to believe that all of this is real, don't close your heart, don't think or compare reality and fiction, if you do you won't be able to cross into Neverland."

And Luna let go.

The wind cut her, she could not hear, could barely breathe, her heart hammered in her chest, but all she saw was Peter right in front of her giving her courage.

"I believe! I BELIEVE!"

Silver Bell reached her and held on to her, her light shinning like a star, they were reaching the lower levels and she could see Max, it was time.

"Second star to the right and straight until morning."

Luna closed her eyes and everything went white.
