37. Chapter 37: Possession

Author Note: Greetings to all my loyal followers & viewers out there. You've waited to ENVISION this next chapter, and here it is. The "King Of VISIONS" shall present a story with some old but new twist to the plot connecting to Transformers G1. Chapter 37: Possession

WITHIN SPACE…?

The scene opens within space, within the starry skies, there was something strange happening. Within space, there was something hovering around, as if drifting without setting a course, but when believed to be a satellite, it was not metallic, but….a Spark! A Transformer's Spark was hovering in space, before soon passing over what was a familiar planet: AKA, Earth. As it drifted downwards, it made a flash 'boom' reaction near a continent location, as it seemingly vanished.

MAXIMAL BASE AT THE NIGHT HOUR

Now the scene changes to where we find the location of the Maximal Base, hidden within a mountain with a waterfall location. But above the hole that mask off a holographic scene, something was happening. A terrible lightning storm was occurring that was seen before….it struck with a major blow on the base. That force was enough that within, it caused an imbalance that knocked those of the Axelon for a hard ride, like knocking Cheetor off balance.

"GWwaaaughhh!" Cheetor yelped out loud when he hit the floor with wide eyes, before getting himself up. "Talk about a LIGHT Show?" Cheetor yelled off in how something like that was something to be seen & having felt.

"Geez, an Energon Storm out of nowhere…just peachy?" Grizzly-1 rolled the eyes in what they got to be dealing with here.

"Beep-Beep! Warning! Sentinel Shield Has Been Damaged." Sentinel's voice was heard speaking to Optimus & Rhinox by the console monitor in hearing the latest report.

"Looks like our situation has just gone up a bit." Longrack exclaimed in seeing what they also got to be dealing with here.

"One more direct hit, & WE could be the GRAND Finale!" Rhinox issued off a serious warning of what will happen to their base as the digital graphics show the base's readouts of anymore impacts from that last bolt.

"As in we'll be FRIED!?" Jackrabbit yelped in having a really bad feeling about this case.

"Then we better find safety, being taken by a powerful storm is not the way to go." B'Boom stated in what he is hoping to be done & not get blown to bits.

"Yes…agree on that." Optimus nods off with a sign of worry, this looks pretty bad in what the storm can bring. "Better stow the spare weapons & ammo in the hole. Underneath the armor flooring!" He orders what to do; keep their arsenal from blowing up & causing more damage to themselves if the storm breaches their ceiling.

"Should we send Jeremie & the others home?" Artemis asked this off in being concern about the human children that are here.

"In this storm, I doubt I could ram through it?" Bonecrusher exclaimed to say this in knowing that he couldn't plow through an Energon Storm even with his bison horns ramming everything before him.

"Then lets inform their folks by a text email, saying they will be staying at a friends house." Snarl suggested this off in what they can do to help them inform the children's parents, guardians, etc. of the matter.

"Alright Maximals, lets quickly get this done. The storm might get worse along the way. And most of our other Comrades have to wait the storm out. Get in touch with any if you can to tell them to stay put." Optimus issued off to say this to inform everyone of what they need to do & who to get in touch.

Much of the Maximal Crew were quickly needing to get to work, the storm was still a bit rowdy outside; but it's much worse for any of their comrades doing their scouting work, etc.

WITHIN PREDACON TERRITORY?

The scene changes to show the Predacon Ship, as there was a storm brewing above the volcano of where it too, was hidden from the world. But then suddenly through a flash of lightning bolts, something hovered down through the hole to be near the ship…the Spark from space. It was hovering near a radio antenna, nothing seem to be happening until… One flash of lightning zap between them, & that caused the Spark to zip into the antenna & into the wireless network. And inside, we find Waspinator working on the monitor that was showing readouts of the area until….the computer showed a flash that impulse a bright surge force.

"GRrrueeeghhh!" Waspinator yelped from getting a tiny shock force, before… "DRrughh-Grugruaaaughhh…GUUUwwweee?" Waspinator was shot off from his console station from an electric zap to smack on the floor to screech to a stop on his backside.

"Well that was certainly some unexpected surprise?" Sling exclaimed off in what he saw just now.

"Grrr….Quickly, damage report!" Megatron adjust his command chair to gaze down in where Waspinator fell to have any damage report of the matter.

"Hmm….moderate…" Waspinator slightly rose up to sit up & rub the back of his head of what happened to him. "Wazzpinator in pain...but zztill functional!" Waspinator shook his head that made loose bolt sounds while stating that he was fine.

"Not you, imbecile!" Megatron calmly shook the head in stating he wasn't referring to Waspinator's damage state. "THE COMPUTER!" Megatron raised his voice in yelling out what was wrong with the computer that such an event happened.

"Beep!/Megatron!" Just then on a communicator, Scorponok's voice interrupted Megatron's focus. "Electrical fire on the lower deck!" Scorponok's voice reported a major incident that calls for one's attention.

"Grr….get Sky-Byte & Shadow Panther down there. I'll be right there." Megatron "Waspinator, get the computer fix to continue. We don't want any Maximal surprises."

"Good luck bug-boy!" Sling waved off in leaving the grunt work to the dumb wasp.

"Oh, Wazzpinator always get zzzuch jobs?" Waspinator moans to complain in how this ended up for him.

"Double Punch, try to reach our troops, & quickly!" Megatron stated to Double Punch nearby to get him to be active on calling in their other troops.

"Yes sir, I'm on it!" Double Punch saluted to say this in having heard those orders.

Soon Megatron got on a hover platform, as he & the others zoomed off to get to their stations. Waspinator was left alone to handle with the repairs to the computer…

BACK WITHIN THE MAXIMAL BASE…?

The scene changes to where we see within the Axelon, what was going on now. Optimus was helping Rhinox lift to move things down to those at the bottom of the armor flooring. Also with them was Armordillo, Razorbeast, B'Boom & Bonecrusher also helping around the area. They were stashing away ammo & weapons that would likely cause a problem if the storm hit any, & caused an explosive incident.

"Gwuuuaaghh?" Rhinox signs from having put down another heavy ammo container crate on the ground. "That's the last of it." Rhinox issued off to peak above, as now with the task done, those underneath the armor flooring were climbing upwards.

"It's a good thing too, now we won't worry about blowing our selves up. As a Trap Specialist, that's the worse to get yourselves caught in." Armordillo explained how things would go if they didn't safely place their explosive stuff away; the storm would blow them up with even greater damage.

"Everything is as you requested Optimus." B'Boom stated off to mention this to their leader.

"That's good to hear, now we just need to wait on the report outside." Optimus nods off to simply say this about the matter of thought of an update report.

"Oh boy, lets hope it isn't too serious?" Razorbeast exclaimed with worry in hoping things are not gonna be too bad.

"Beep!/Yo! Hurry it up, fellas!" Then at the sudden announcement, Rattrap's voice was heard on the com-link. "This is your Robo-Robot Reporter!" Rattrap's voice was issuing this off like some news reporter on the scene to get some attention; as Optimus taps his helmet's com-link to listen in.

"Well, we're about to get the news alright?" Bonecrusher shrug off to say this in what they are about to receive here.

"Ehhh….Do you de Bad News….Or…The Worse News?" By the sounds of it as Rhinox got up, they were getting a report from Rattrap, which doesn't sound good.

"What, no good news?" Bonecrusher asked off to try to lighten the mood of what they have heard.

"Since when does the worry rat like Rattrap ever have Good News in our rough style?" Armordillo rolled his eyes in stating this factor for them to consider.

"We better get over there & see what's wrong Optimus?" Rhinox stated in what they best do by checking in to hear the latest.

"Agreed, how are the children doing?" Optimus nods off to say while asking how Jeremie's group is fairing.

"Their guest rooms should be ready." B'Boom stated off in what they have done for guest to spend this stormy night with them.

"Then lets hear what Rattrap has to say." Optimus nods off to say while knowing they need to quickly go & see how things are going on Rattrap's side.

They had to leave quickly to check in of what was happening that there was both BAD & WORSE news…

BACK WITHIN THE PREDACON BASE….?

The scene changes back to what's happening at this time. Waspinator has the screen monitor lifted up to check the circuitry & wires, before placing it back down. But after placing it back, the monitor was looking dead, no flashes, no signals; nothing.

"Nooorugh! What izz thizz?" Waspinator snapped off to wave the hands at the dead monitor. "Program does not respond!" Waspinator was so mad he smack the monitor from seeing it's not working for him. "Wazzpinator doezz not understand!?" Waspinator issued off that this was a problem he was not figuring out; why can't the program work after that flash feedback, he doesn't follow after trying to fix it.

But suddenly, the entire monitor was flashing in a bright light & motion work of electrical wave motions, as if the monitor was…alive.

"I'll bet Waspinator seldom does!" A mysterious high-strong voice spoke off to say this from the monitor, as something was seen; glowing red optical shape eyes & eyebrows. "But try not to let it depress you, bug-face…" The mysterious entity spoke off to the surprised Waspinator, as he could not compute what to make of this until…

"Grruaghhh!" Then he yelps, as Waspinator was flashed off by the monitor's light. "Grughm-Uhm…Urrhmm…" Waspinator yelps as his body was glowing, & wobbling uncontrollably to his notice.

"Heheheheh…." A laughter is heard, as Waspinator who struggle backwards on his hover platform before…someone was watching nearby. It was Terrorsaur in Robot Mode, as he saw this transaction, before suddenly moving away while Waspinator was seen…ceasing his struggle motion.

MAXIMAL BASE

Within the Command Chamber, we see Rhinox, B'Boom, Armordillo, Razorbeast, Bonecrusher & Optimus were being brief by Rattrap by the center console table with a digital image of the base in blue & their shield as an emerald green field of energy.

"The last hit breach the outer wall in Vector 7." Rattrap was motioning to the digital image of their base of what was to report.

"And this was only the Bad News?" Rhinox turn to Rattrap in pondering about how this report measured out of how bad things were.

"Um, I was under the impression that it was far worse?" Razorbeast rubbed the back of his head in being puzzled about something here.

"Wait for it…" Armordillo stated for those here to wait, the rodent is bond to tell them now.

"Ehhh, the Worse News is…?" Rattrap shrug off the shoulders in what was about to be revealed here. "It knocked off all of the surveillance sensors along the south-west perimeter." Rattrap pointed this off as it shows from the green field around the base, of punctured holes that the storm hit around them. "Ehh, we might as well put a sign saying: 'Welcome Predacons, Enter Here'?" Rattrap shrug off to remotely state in sarcasm of how the enemy could just come to their location with the easiest way of entry.

"Woah! That is Worse News?" Bonecrusher replied off in having heard this shocking feat.

"This will not be good, especially from a Predacon attack?" B'Boom shook his head off that this was not a very pleasant thing to be told.

"Hmmm?" Optimus hums a bit from having been given the worse situation they are in from the terrible storm. "With any luck, they're problems of their own." Optimus narrow his eyes in stating that perhaps like them, the Predacons are dealing with problems on their side too.

"Optimus is right, lets just focus on our side & keep track of any Maximals roaming around & to find shelter." Rhinox explained what they can best try to do while they can use communication.

Everyone quickly splits off from here, as they all must do what they can. With both the Energon Storm & the condition of surviving what is hitting them, everyone must do their best.

PREDACON BASE

The scene focuses on what's occurring at the Predacon Base in the lower deck. As we find lots of smoke, with Megatron seen observing things with Scorponok, Shadow Panther & Sky-Byte seeing the damage that was done.

"Cough-Cough, Cough-Cough, Cough…" Megatron was heard coughing, as everything was not only dark, but smoke was everywhere… "Gaaaaugh! Go find out what's keeping Waspinator!" Megatron issued this order to Scorponok to find out what is taking the wasp-bot so long.

"You think fixing a computer be simple enough for him to do alone?" Sky-Byte exclaimed of about a task that should be simple for even a simpleton to perform.

"Hmmm…someone's here?" Shadow Panther sensed something, as he looked somewhere within the smoke to feel…someone is here.

Suddenly entering the scene, was Waspinator, standing in across the open corridor in looking strangely; well…strange? Then a flash of lightning occurred which as it happened, something was seen in Waspinator's place, something that looked…like an entirely different bot. The flash of lightning continued occurring till the end, & there Waspinator stood, as if being intimidating to any viewers between his appearance & what was…like another Transformer.

"So there you are?" Scorponok exclaimed in seeing that Waspinator has arrived here.

"Yes, here I am. At Very Long LAST!" Waspinator motion his body a bit, but he =was not speaking like he usually does, in fact; his voice has a different pitch compared to before.

"What happened to your voice?" Megatron asked off in being curious, Waspinator doesn't sound like he usually does; what could have happened.

"Megatron is right, that voice sounds too high?" Sky-Byte stated in noticing how strange the voice was compared to what it usually sounds.

"Waspinator, what exactly happen, it's not just your voice…but you speaking in the third person is missing?" Shadow Panther raised a suspicious look in catching on something else that seem weird.

"Allow me to present myself." Waspinator spoke off as if not sounding like himself, even the position of his wasp-eyes seem more narrow then usual before…he spoke these words of presentation. "Air Commander Starscream of the Decepticon Battle Fleet!" He issued off loudly in having announced forth of who he has now before all.

Then a sudden flash of thunder & lightning occurred, as it happened again; Waspinator's body seem to slightly show a different form; the form of a Transformer, no…of a Decepticon! Seen to be base on a jet-like plane, gray patterns, blue thrusters, & red paint in the front body on where the nose is. But when in Robot Mode, he has grey legs & arms, colored boots & hands down to the elbows while one set of it's two laser blasters were mounted on the shoulders. The main body is like that of a jet plane's while the wings are behind the back. The helmet was black, face was gray, & had yellow eyes. But even while appearing to be Waspinator, he was NOT Waspinator, for he took claim of being…the Decepticon under the name Starscream.

The scenery changes to within the Predacon Command Chamber, as all Predacons were in Robot Mode, accounted to Megatron sitting in his command chair while the rest rode on hover platforms: Scorponok, Tarantulas, Blackarachnia, Terrorsaur, Lazorbeak, Iguanas, Double Punch, Ripteeth, Sling, Shadow Panther, Sky-Byte & lastly in front of them all was Starscream who appeared in being in control, of Waspinator.

"I-I-I saw it myself." Terrorsaur spoke off in having sounded completely bamboozled in what he witnessed. "The entity came out of the computer." He ushered off that the entire in possession of Waspinator came from their computer; as the wasp-bot struggle when he was becoming possessed.

"But your ancient history." Blackarachnia pointed toStarscream in making that stated claim; to which on afar on the wasp-bot's head was…not the Predacon symbol, but the Decepticon symbol instead.

"Ancient, Yes?" Starscream stated off to lightly agree, he's very much an ancient being from from ago. "History...NO!" He remarked off to snap that the matters concerning him being long gone, are not so.

"Brother, this guy is certainly confusing?" Iguanas rolled his eyes win having to hear such things be said off from this bot.

"What's he talking about?" Scorponok shrug off to Megatron in not following this guy's claims about matters of being long gone.

"Got me too, & it's Waspinator….who which not many knows what he thinks?" Sling shrug off that even as bot that is not the sharpest tool, even he knows Waspinator's persona.

"Yes, & he's not the sharpest tool either? So what the heck is he?" Ripteeth gazed off at the bot that houses a strange entity.

"A predecessor to us; a Decepticon." Shadow Panther stated off to say this in sounding serious & focus on the subject.

"Hey, can someone explain this to us bots that lack the info?" Lazorbeak asked off that he's a rather shoot first, ask questions after kind of guy.

"The Decepticons were our Ancestors." Blackarachnia pulled up a monitor screen to show a digital stasis pod layout in written code; to explain the matter of their Transformer linage; that before there were any Predacons, there were first…Decepticons. "For centuries, they wage war with the Autobots." She explained how their ancestors wage a war against their natural enemy.

"The Ancient Ancestors of the Maximals!" Megatron sternly exclaimed to know about the line of their natural foes; of the Decepticons fighting the Autobots in the Great War, so now their descendants being Predacons & Maximals, have started it again.

"That war was LOST, Alas?" Starscream shrug off in stating that after the long time, the war was over & the Decepticons lost.

"And you were destroyed?" Blackarachnia stated off that Starscream was destroyed in that war. "It's written in the Chronicles of Cybertron?" Blackarachnia stated that the chronicles left behind to tell of their history, states Starscream was destroyed before the war was over.

"Ah, but so it was BELIEVED!" Starscream exclaimed off in getting everyone's attention over the matter of believing he perished. "I FELL Defending, my Leader: Galvatron!" He issued off in what he did during the time in following the leader of the Decepticons long ago. "Against the most powerful enemy of all..." He grip his fist to raise them up high, in making a bold statement of who he was up against. "The GIANT Transformer - UNICRON!" Starscream declared forth in announcing this term of a great & powerful enemy of that time; the ancient being of destruction himself.

THE PAST…

The scene changes to show within space, above a rocky planets ground, there was something massive floating in space. It has the appearance of a planet, extended rings on the sides around the planet body, & opening robot mouth with horns on the two sides that look ready to squeeze. Truly it was as if looking at the sight of a monstrous planet about to eat another planet. This thing could be none other, then a force that even ordinary Transformers fear; the giant transformer himself; Unicorn, was seen.

"My exo-structure was destroyed…" Starscream narrates as we see him of the past about to attack a giant planet-size Transformer that was charging up an attack beam, and… "But miraculously, my Spark endured." As he explained, Starscream's body was vaporized under the power of Unicorn; but it later shows his Spark…floating freely. "Drifting helplessly through the 'Depths' of space….Beyond the reach of Time it's self!" Starscream narrates in what was seen happening with his Spark, as if drifted endlessly throughout space & even travel a distance across time…

PRESENT…?

The scene changes to where all present Predacons have heard Starscream's story of what happened that he suddenly ended up where he is now; possessing the body of Waspinator.

"Hmmm…?" Megatron rubs his chin in being in a deep mental thinking state about what he's listen to so far. "And now that your here, Air Commander?" Megatron lightly stated & addressing the commander of the Decepticon Fleet. "What do you want?" Megatron gazed to try to pierce through of what someone who was believed destroyed, wants with them now?

"Ugh…." Starscream seem to almost choke when suddenly asked that, but…he made a statement. "Why, to pledge allegiance to the glorious, Megatron!" Starscream issued off in announcing what he wants to do, serve under Megatron here. "And fight! As your Loyal Top Lieutenant!" Starscream issued off in announcing what he wants to do, work as a high commanding officer under Megatron's crew.

"Top Lieutenant? But we already got guys here that are 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in command bots?" Sling questioned off that they have those that serve as Megatron's top troops of the Predacons, Shadow Panther, Scorponok & Sky-Byte.

"And isn't Shadow Panther the most top of Megatron's trusted officers?" Double Punch stated in looking at the group to recall something.

"I just speak from experience wise, as I have served the original Megatron all the way to when he ascend himself to become Galvatron. So does it not stand, that I serve one who was given the same name as the Decepticon's Greatest Leader?" Starscream spoke forth in making such words of comment & praise, that he was trying to win favor for Megatron to accept the terms of letting him join & get a high rank within the solider system of the Predacons.

"Well, gurgh-hum…you'll forgive the Glorious Megatron, for not melting into a puddle of gratitude…?" Megatron lightly exclaimed to smile in enjoying such praise & growling work to get on his better side; while not losing his focus expression. "Tell me….hmmm….? Why should I 'trust' you?" Megatron glares forth at this bot in really getting through that he wants to know, why he should trust someone like Starscream who shows up out of the blue, & wants to serve under him; there must be a reason, if not, an agenda?

"Because I could show you how to crush the Maximals. Obtain the Key. And Win the Beast Wars, once & for ALL!" Starscream issued off to say this while stretching out that last word in declaring with his knowledge; he will end the Beast Wars without delay.

"Hmmm….?" Megatron begins to show a small smile creeping up on his face, for he likes that ideal plan; a way to crush the Maximals & win the Beast Wars single-handedly, that sounds just…perfect to him.

NEXT MORNING

MAXIMAL BASE

The scene opens up around daylight time, as we see that the Axelon had survived quite a storm that hit it along with many scorch marks on the ground. But unknown to anyone, a Cyberbee was seen buzzing around the area. Upon closer look, we see Cheetor in Beast Mode looking outside the base.

"That's one thing about an Energon Storm." Cheetor issued off to say this about what developed after the storm. "Doesn't do much for the view." He shook his head off to quote on that matter.

All in front of the base, scorch marks are seen, & still plenty more of rubble & broken logs from when a serious storm left things in quite a mess.

"Speaking of views?" Cheetor ushered from when his eyes looked ahead to spot, a Cyberbee buzzing ahead. "Someone's getting a scanner full of them right now!?" The cadet exclaimed in noticing that the Cyberbee that Scorponok uses was getting an image of their state. "Cheetor - MAXIMIZE!" Cheetor yelled out loud, before he transforms to Robot Mode. "Pow-Pow-Powvh,m Pow-Powvhm, Powvhm…." Then he was firing his Quaser Cannon off to hit the target that was spying on them.

Meanwhile, we see a change in scenery in another part of the Axelon. It was actually the Computer Core Area, where Rattrap once ventured into long ago in the past. Right now, there was a hole in the outer wall, & Rhinox was seen checking out the damages from the inside out.

"We can repair it." Rhinox issued off in stating how things look here. "But it's going to take time." He made a serious face in stating how long it would take to repair things here.

"Yes, it's true…the Energon Storm certainly did a number on the base?" Dive-Bomb was seen coming onto the sight with Jeremie, Ulrich, William, Yumi, Sissi, Odd, Aelita & Artemis who the latter assume her holographic human form.

"We're going to need almost a couple of hours to patch up this much damage?" Yumi stated to say this in seeing how much work will be needed for fixing this place.

"That storm really was something, it kept most of us await?" Sissi signs to say this in complaining how things ended up even with staying inside an alien ship with a shielding defense; not helpful against a storm made from Energon particles.

"Hmmm…?" Aelita held her chin to be having a thinking moment about something.

"Something wrong Aelita? Did the storm keep you up?" William asked in noticing that the girl seems a bit distracted.

"No, it's not that? Maybe I'm overthinking things, but I thought I felt something…familiar?" Aelita stated to say this from what sort of thoughts she had from last night in trying to recall something.

"Familiar, like what?" Ulrich raised an eyebrow in what the girl was talking about.

"Something from the past…I couldn't make it out, but…it felt like…it was a voice?" Aelita exclaimed from what she felt was… a voice of some kind.

"Oh, is that all, a voice? Well, maybe it was your imagination from the storm that kind of freaked you out?" Odd shrug off to lightly say this about what was getting under the pink haired girl.

"I'm not sure, all I know..is that something felt off…I don't know why or how it relates to my past?" Aelita shook her head in being very uncertain about what it is that she was feeling about such things.

"Perhaps we should save it for later, when the base's defenses are back online." Artemis suggested this forth in what they should do that would be on a wiser note.

"Cliff…/Yo Big Bot!" Then suddenly, Cheetor's voice is heard on the com-link for all Maximals to receive. "We were staring in someone's home video." Cheetor's voice stated this as a serious Optimus on the spot was listening in. "Three guesses who was watching the movie?" Cheetor lightly stated on his location to hold up the wrecked smoking Cyberbee that he took down as he wobbled it a bit.

MEANWHILE, AT PREDACON HQ

The scene shows within the Predacon Base, as the monitor held up above was showing video feed of the daylight of what was the Maximal Base location pass it's mountain cover to be seen around. It zoomed in to reveal areas from the front & back, & notice holes that breach the Axelon.

"My Spark saw the damage before entering this body." Starscream pointed his left hand to the screen for Megatron & Scorponok in looking at a feedback & discussing what occurred at the Maximal Base. "It's the perfect opportunity to ATTACK!" He clutch his fist in declaring this was the chance to attack the Maximals at this time.

"But that's what they will be waiting for." Megatron waved off his left hand to state the obvious issue of the Maximals being ready if an attack comes.

"EXACTLY!" Starscream yelled off in stating that the enemy expecting an attack, is preciously what he knows the Maximals would resort to do.

"Um Starscream, perhaps the centuries of weightlessness have taken a toll on your neurological circuitry…" Megatron raised an eyebrow in thinking that perhaps Starscream has had some unstable effect from being in space for so long, it's effecting his logic circuits.

"While they're busy guarding the the Southwest. We strike…HERE!" Starscream issued off to calmly, then yell off in where to attack. "Right through the gun-ports, on the East wall!" The video feedback changes to where Starscream points instead of the hole on the base, they attack behind a wall location on the other side.

"Hmmm….Sky-Byte, have you gotten contact with all our troops?" Megatron looked to Sky-Byte nearby in asking this for their preparations.

"I have Megatron….they are ready by your command." Sky-Byte saluted that they are ready to move out on their leader's command.

"Then we must quickly act, before they realize the plan." Starscream "I have already learn about what has happen to the Key from the memory of this body. We must not let her slip…she is the ultimate prize."

"A prize…I will revel in obtaining." Megatron clutch his right hand in having the great urge to claim the Key…at last.

"Yes, now….to the Warp Gate!" Starscream issued forth that now was the time…to move forward.

Everyone was moving forth, as Starscream seem to gaze at the image on the screen showing Aelita…the Key, was within the sights of the old Decepticon.

AT THE MAXIMAL BASE

MOMENTS FROM ACTION…

The scene changes to the Maximal Base, as something was happening. A missile was launched around the East Wall, & then….

"Boomfruvhmmm…." An explosion shook the base structure as a few selected Maximals in Beast Mode: Optimus, Rhinox, Dinobot, Armordillo, Razorbeast, Snarl, Bonecrusher, Jackrabbit, Dive-Bomb, B'Boom, Grizzly-1 & Rattrap were on the hole ceiling; & felt that.

"Wha?" Optimus yelped from looking surprised by that sudden attack.

"What was that? An enemy attack?" B'Boom asked off in where that attack came from.

"They're attacking the OTHER Side?" Rattrap waved off the arms in being puzzled; they were expecting an attack from this point, not the other side.

"But weren't they gonna come for the hole here?" Bonecrusher asked off in where the enemy should have gone for that was a nice opening.

"Hold your circuits…what if they wanted to breach us from a spot we never expect?" Grizzly-1 exclaimed in realizing something that just caught his attention of what maneuver this could be.

"Then that means…" Snarl slowly started to say in knowing, that they have a big problem now.

Everyone looks down into the Computer Core Room, where a large hole was breach on the side wall. From there, they saw Waspinator fly in while holding the anchor of Blackarachnia's hookshot as the she-spider dangles.

"Hello Boys!" Starscream spoke forth in holding out his Sting Launcher in greeting the bots. "Jus happen to be in the neighborhood." He issued off that they were just in the area, & so…

"So we thought we drop in!" Blackarachnia issued off to finish, as she pointed her missile blaster upwards.

"Frushvmmm…/UUuuagh!" Optimus ducked away from a missile coming up towards them while the others move away. "Optimus - MAXIMIZE!" Optimus yelled out this command code, as he & many of the Maximals on the roof of the base transformed into Robot Mode while Optimus drops in & changes to activate flight mode. "Taken unaware, I'm a Fool!" Optimus muffled off to say this in declaring that he was a fool to not foresee such a tactic be played out.

"At long last, Primal!" Megatron was seen below in gazing at his mutual foe in what was happening. "We agree on something." He smiled off in agreeing that Optimus was a fool, as he takes aim. "PUvhmmm…Puvhhmmm…." He fires off a few of his T-Rex laser shots now.

The impacts from the number of attacks were damaging the area within the Computer Core Room.

"Grrr…." Dinobot growls in wielding his Rotating Tail Blade & his Rotating Sword in his hands to keep his balance of what shook the area. "Grrrr…/POWFrusvhmmm…." With another growl, Dinobot fires his optic beams at the target.

"CHARRRRGE!" Bonecrusher roared off as he leaps down with Razorbeast & B'Boom to tackle against some Powerpinch, Retrax, & Drill Bit. Everyone was blasting while many other Predacons were coming through the opening, as they were blasting away to back the Maximals in a corner. The children heard a loud noise to peak inside to spot something with Longrack near them; to learn that their base was breached.

"This isn't good, we've been breach." Longrack exclaimed in realizing what it is that has happened here.

"How was that possible?" William asked off in how the enemy managed to even do that.

"Apparently someone seem to have thought this through?" William suggested in hope this could have played out for someone that research for some battle steps.

"Jackrabbit! I need your help in moving the children to a safe place." Longrack called for the youngest Maximal to come over to him & help get the human children ready to leave.

"Aw bummer…I was really like to fight?" Jackrabbit pouts pouts to say this in having fired her attacks to keep Iguanas pin against some cover.

Cheetor rolled across the floor, ducking out of the attackers to wield his Quasar Cannon.

"Don't you know that gate crashing is just plain rude!" Cheetor remarked off in stating this sternly at the enemy crashing into their home. "Next time, try knocking!" As he made that remark, Cheetor aims his weapon in the air. "Toph-Toph, Toph-Thop-Toph-Toph-Toph…." He was firing multiple shots at a target, Waspinator.

However, look & behold, Waspinator was seen moving & dodging them shots with ease. He held out a right fist to fly around, circle around the main computer console, & rotated before flying….upwards pass Rhinox & Rattrap giving cover fire from above.

"Hugh!?/Eh!?" Rhinox & Rattrap yelped in looking up in what just zip pass them.

Then without warning, Waspinator was zipping & zooming all around the Maximal Base faster then the eye could blink like a blur. Everyone down below was trying to follow his movements, which was tricky since he was in one place to the next.

"Neeeeugh?" Dinobot was having a hard time watching this, as it seem…bothersome.

"Oh man, and I thought Buzz Saw was fast?" Armordillo exclaimed from watching how this was going.

"Since when did Buzz Brain learn 'that' move?" Cheetor raised an eyebrow in suspicion in not knowing, how someone like Waspinator could even pull off such a maneuver.

"No bot should be able to obtain such a flight ability unless precious materials are meant. But even I can't explain how even Waspinator could do any of that?" Dive-Bomb exclaimed forth to mention this as if it was impossible to believe a bot had such an advance flight motion ability.

Waspinator soon zipped into the room again in having overheard the question.

"I'll tell you how? Since his Exo-Structure was commandeered by the Spark of Air Commander Starscream!" Starscream spoke forth in announcing this news loudly for all to hear.

"Bam-Bam-Bam, Bamfruvhmm…" Then without warning, Starscream fires his Sting Launchers at Cheetor who was running for cover to get out of the explosives.

"Neerrrughh, Starscream...Impossible!?" Dinobot shook his head downwards in speaking out in protest of something like Starscream was here. "POwwfurhmm…/GRUUAaaurghhh!" Dinobot was heard making a loud yelp cry, as he was shot i the back by Megatron's T-Rex Laser.

"We must pay attention, Dinobot." Megatron shrug off to easily state the lesson of being sidetracked. "Otherwise, dearly me…Look what happens?" He made a smug face in having caught Dinobot off guard, & he's paying for it.

"Okay, I think it's time we flea!" William stated in feeling it's time they get moving without any delay; as they make their way to the open hole.

"Wait, where's Aelita?" Ulrich asked off in noticing that as they were trying to leave, Aelita was not with them.

"Hugh….she should be….why isn't she here?" Jeremie asked off in noticing that the pink haired girl is not among their group; why.

The children soon spot where Ae;its stood, staring up at something that left her acting like a deer in the headlights. As everyone was fighting, Starscream descended down to be in mere feet before Aelita, as if being a looming shadow over the girl. Aelita was slowly showing signs of sweating, as if staring at something of a past that has left some frighten memories.

"Well, well, so at last we meet once again, Key?" Starscream stated off in seeing the child before him that he knew very well of who she is.

"Y-Y-You….I…remember?" Aelita hesitated to say her words as she felt; fear overtaking her every step. "Your the voice I heard…the feeling of someone I recall from my past…is you?" She gaze to look beyond Waspinator's body; as if seeing the ghostly form of Starscream, for she knows him.

"You flatter me in knowing who I am, & after all these years…the power we fought is now mine again." Starscream exclaimed in seeing that even though it's been years, the Key recalls him & will now; take what was meant to be his.

Aelita was completely frozen with fear that she could not even focus to use her abilities to protect herself. Starscream could tell the girl was terrified of him, as he was about to take her without any resistance, or so he thought.

"Keep your hands away from her!" Longrack was seen about to use his long arm to grasp the target… "KABlamvhmm…./GRRruaghhh!" But then, Starscream fired a Sting Missile that exploded to cause damage to his long arm, as he clutched it in pain.

"Apparently, no one has taught them…to fear the name Starscream…wouldn't you agree?" Starscream slyly stated this off to look to Aelita in stating the foolishness of resistance.

"Ahhh…Huuuh?" Aelita was shown looking more worried in staring at Starscream, as if seeing his ghostly form approaching to almost…grab her.

"BANZAI!" Then without warning, Odd swooped in to grab Aelita's hand to ride off on his OverBoard to keep them as far from any enemy.

"Noooo! The KEY!" Starscream yelled out in seeing that the Key was snatched from him.

"Quick! Shot him down!" Lazorbeak yelled off as he flew off to chase after the escaping prize.

"Bwwwuaghhhh!" Manterror roared off to fire his buzz saws to only hit one target; Odd.

Now Odd used his OverBoard to zip through the enemy fliers to to zig-zag & was heading for one opening that the enemy came through. But as Odd zip through, he was not careful when one of Manterror's buzz saws came close to cut through a piece of his left shoulder cloth & his board to trip the balance.

"GUUAAaughhh!" Odd screamed out as he & Aelita fell fast out the hole & fell in close to the waterfall.

"WAAaaahhh!" Aelita screamed as she also realized where they were going; as both she & Odd vanished when they hit the bottom of the falls.

"Noooooo! YOU FOOOLS! They fell into the Waterfall!" Starscream yelled out in snapping off to those that made them lose their big catch. "Sky-Byte, chase after them!" He turn to those that can swim, to follow after the Key.

"Alright troops, into the water; quickly!" Sky-Byte issued off to Manta Ray, Scylla, Razorclaw, Spittor & Snapper.

Many of the Aqua Predacons left the post of guarding the new hole entrance to dive into the water to chase after the targets.

"Come on!" William yelled off that the coast was clear, they can get out.

"What about Aelita & Odd?" Jackrabbit asked off in knowing that their two friends are missing & are in trouble.

"We cannot worry about them if we are captured too. We must hurry." Artemis

"Lets help get Longrack out too." Ulrich suggested as a few of the boys helped move the injuries giraffe bot out with the girls aiding too.

"Aelita….please…be safe?" Jeremie whispered under his breath before the children & Jackrabbit helped Longrack escape.

Too many explosive impacts were causing the systems of the Computer Core Room to flip out. Optimus flew upwards to remove his mouth guard to face up to those on the hole of the roof.

"We got to get out of here." Optimus issued off to state this to those that are still fighting. "Regroup & recover!" He ordered out that they must abandon the base.

"Ugh!" Snarl was nearby when he heard this sudden order that he & most of the other Maximals showed wide-eye expressions.

"What! And leave the Base to de Preds!?" Rattrap exclaimed off in finding that shocking to believe; they are gonna abandon the base for the enemy to take control of.

"There's no choice Rattrap!" Optimus shook his head that he hates to do this, but they got little choice. "On my signal!" He issued that on his signal, they will retreat.

"Tch, yeah right….like this rat needs instructions on leaving a sinking ship?" Rattrap remotely stated off to say this towards Rhinox nearby about needing a second reminder of leaving when the situation is good. "Bangbangbang, Bangbangbangvhmm…" Then he fires a few extra shots from his blaster before he, Rhinox, began to leave the hole of the base.

"Ugh!" Optimus lifts up Dinobot by the left arm; as he fired a wrist cannon off at the Predacons. "MAXIMALS! FULL-RETREAT!" Optimus yelled this off in giving the order for a full retreat from battle. "Urrruaaghhh…" Optimus ignited his jet propulsions as he struggle to lift Dinobot upwards.

As Optimus was heading upwards towards the hole in the base, he was about to meet some obstacle….

"Heh-Heh, Heh-Heh…" Then Terrorsaur was seen appearing above the hole in the base; as he intended to stop the last escapers.

"MAXIMUM BURN!" Optimus made a stern face in issuing this command to his function. "POWWFruvhmmm…." Then Optimus was shooting off at jet-like speed on max. "HYUuuagh!/Punchvhmmm…" Then Optimus punches Terrorsaur in the face, knocking him out of the way.

From above, Optimus was seen flying away from the Maximal Base by going out of the mountain cover hole unseen to human eyes. But above the air, we find a familiar hawk soaring the skies, it was Airazor in her Beast Mode.

"Something tells me this isn't just a fire drill?" Airazor issued off in looking concern in seeing what was happening that everyone from the base was leaving in a big hurry. "I better find Tigatron." She stated in what she should do here, as she turns to soar the other direction.

And within the Maximal Base…, well…?

"VICTORY!" Megatron yelled forth in holding up his arms, as we find him in….the Maximal Command Center. "The Maximal Base...Is Mine! Ye-es-s-s-s…" Megatron smiled forth in feeling prideful for his Predacons within the room they have gather to share this glory of victory.

"So it seems, we have become victorious?" Shadow Panther

"Hey-hey, what about that Key girl? She still escaped?" Ripteeth

"Do not be concern, I sent Sky-Byte to find them. If they are unconscious, it will make things easier to secure the Key." Starscream

"Perfect, then very soon…complete victory will be within my grasp!" Megatron

"But what do we do now?" Tarantulas spoke out in making this sudden question of thought. "If we're all here, then our base is Unprotected?" The Predacon Scientist stated that if they are here, who's guarding their base from being invaded instead.

"First we conquer, now we divide." Megatron stated off in making this discussion be brief, & simple. "Terrorsaur, Tarantulas, Lazorbeak, Manterror, Iguanas, Shadow Panther, you will return with me." Megatron issued off to those around here of those to return to their base to keep it from being taken over by the baseless Maximals. "Insecticon, Jetstorm, Powerpinch, Retrax, Drill Bit, Vice Grip, will hunt down the Maximals with Buzz Saw taking point." Megatron gave the next order out in what the other Predacons called froth shall do. "Scorponok, Sling, Double Punch, Ripteeth & Blackarachnia will remain behind." Megatron stated off in who will remain behind here to guard the Maximal Base they have acquired. "Under the command of Starscream." He issued off in sounding serious while Blackarachnia leans against one of the other console seats in watching this.

"Starscream?" Terrorsaur spoke out as he leans against the center table as Starscream watched this as Megatron leans forward to hear a complaint. "How-How…How come he gets promoted?" Terrorsaur protest in not liking how the new guy gets promoted for the first time after just recently joining.

"Grrrughmmm…" Megatron leans upwards while making anapest snarl noise, as Terrorsaur looked at Starscream in what was gonna happen until… "CLOMPvhmm…" Without warning, Megatron's T-Rex head grasp Terrorsaur's head to smack it down o the center console table.

"Uaaaugh-Uuuaagghh!?" Terrorsaur aches as he felt his head getting a gripping feeling of a T-Rex head's jaws; this was most likely Megatron making a strict point for insubordination.

"Thus, you are rewarded for your loyal services." Megatron stated this fourth in how Starscream gets a reward for being loyal to him & giving him such a grand prize.

"Uuuaaughh…." Terrorsaur's aching voice was heard as he was sounding in pain of having his head almost crushed.

"And thus, you are encouraged…to keep your Beak…Shut!" Megatron lifts Terrorsaur upwards to strictly lecture Terrorsaur to not question him. "Frovhm…Clashfruvhpm…" Then Megatron throws Terrorsaur aside to crash against stuff in the base.

"I'm just grateful I had a chance to 'Help'!" Starscream exclaimed forth in sounding pleasant of wanting to help Megatron out here.

"Yeah, I'll bet…?" Blackarachnia lightly nods her head in sounding remote to lean against the console area as if hardly believing such words that came from Starscream that seem to hid something.

"What's eating her?" Sling whispered this off to Ripteeth in being puzzled about this.

"Beats me, women?" Ripteeth shrug off to simply say this in not knowing much here if it's because Blackarachnia is a fembot who views things different then the male bots.

During the moment, Megatron signals Scorponok to listen under a whisper for them so Starscream does not listen in.

"We are pleased with Starscream, so far…?" Megatron stated off to mention this of being pleased by the results they have gain which Scorponok nods in agreement. "But watch him!" Megatron silently issued a strict order for Starscream to be watched; carefully… "Closely…" He finished off to say this as Scorponok agrees to that as both turn to face Starscream.

MEANWHILE, WITHIN A FOREST FIELD

SEVERAL MILES FROM THE MAXIMAL BASE…?

The scene turns to open around a forest area that was furthest from the Maximal Base. The Maximals cannot go off to the Belpois Junkyard, for fear the Predacons will cause a scene to flush them out,so they must hid within a thick forest around Antigo. Right now, those that abandon their base were in Beast Mode, some sat around, others moved around in having deep thoughts, & Optimus was checking on an injured Dinobot from battle.

"I bet one of them is in my room right now, going through MY Stuff!" Cheetor stated this off in sounding upset & angry to be letting out his anger of what the enemy is doing while he's out here.

"Ah, don't take this the wrong way, kitty-cat?" Rattrap shrug off from near a log with Rhinox to say something in overhearing Cheetor's complaint. "But under the circumstances?" He looked upwards to start to say something of their current case here… "GO Tell Someone Who Cares!" The rat snapped off remotely that there are those here that don't care who's feeling upset over someone messing with their things.

"Urrruagh! It's infuriating that we not only lost the battle, but our Home Base!" B'Boom exclaimed of being so upset over what they have been dealt with.

"I wanna tear them Preds to pieces for what they did!" Bonecrusher stomps his hoof to the ground in being angry.

"This stinks!" Armordillo snaps off in how this whole thing was.

"Oh, sorry?" Razorbeast sheepishly replied in thinking that because he's a warthog, he must smell.

"Not you! This whole thing of being outsmarted by the enemy!?" Snarl exclaimed to tell the guy that they were not referring to one's smell.

"Dive-Bomb, what's your diagnostics for Dinobot?" Optimus asked the medical bot on the patient before them.

"Despite the damage, he's in not critical danger." Dive-Bomb stated to say this in how it looks; despite being limited to stay in Beast Mode, his mind as a medical bot still functions.

"Hugh…That's good. He'll make a full recovery." Optimus meanwhile wipes off the sweat from his eyebrow, as he careful had check a laying Dinobot who got injured in that last battle with Dive-Bomb; & are relieved that the bot is in no harms of danger. "But that's one less concern anyway." Optimus waved down his right hand in knowing that they have one less matter to be worried on their shoulders.

"Nrruaghh….You should have STAYED!" Dinobot raised up his head in making this struggling statement of what the Maximals should have done. "Grugrugraaugh…Fough to the Bitter End!" He snarled off in knowing that they should have fought to their last breath then retreat.

"And it would have been bitter, Dinobot." Optimus explained this in sounding concern of what would have happen if they fought, they be no more. "But there's no time for this?" He sternly protest to say that such matters are not what they should focus on. "Apparently: Waspinator Is Starscream, Or he 'thinks' he is?" Optimus shrug off i stating that for whatever reason, the Predacon Waspinator has become to appear as if acting like the Decepticon from long ago. "Either way, it's becoming a major problem." Optimus stated off to shake the head of how bad things are with Waspinator's new current self-improved issue. "Especially since the files on him were Classified by the Maximal Elders?" Optimus shrug off his right arm to look to his crew that they have no knowledge or intel about Starscream, as they were dub classified by the elders for unknown reasons to other next future generation of Transformers.

"FOOLS!" Dinobot slapped his tail on the ground to yell off this protest of everyone's ignorance. "Grugrugraaughh….fortunately, I have LONG Studied Military History." Dinobot issued off that he has study the history of military related means of the Great War between Autobots & Decepticons.

"Go on…?" Optimus nods off for Dinobot to tell them more about what it is he knows.

"Starscream…was Deceitful & Scheming!" Din boot issued off in stating the facts of what was said of Starscream. "The MOST…Notorious Traitor of all!" He glared forth to Optimus in dubbing Starscream as a Decepticon Traitor for his self-actions.

"And now he's back & pledging his allegiance to Megatron?" Optimus stated off in having process this news of what has current begun to this point. "Hmmm…?" Optimus rubbed his chin to think this through, perhaps they can use this knowledge to their own advantage.

"Optimus!" Then everyone turn to see Jackrabbit appearing in Beast Mode with a weakly crippling Longrack, as Jeremie, Yumi, Sissi, Ulrich, & William coming up.

"Hugh, I'm glad your all here. Any signs of Odd & Aelita?" Optimus signs to say this before asking something that was on his concern mind.

"No, & we couldn't search with enemy swimmers around." Sissi shook her head in sadly stating that they were unable to do much searching.

"Is there a way that they made it out on their own?" Yumi asked in trying to be positive over their situation.

"Odd was able to act out before he got hit, but what was wrong with Aelita?" Ulrich pondered off to say this in being puzzled in how to figure what happened.

"Judging by Aelita's expression, it's possible that she couldn't move because…the Key was always in a desperate struggle for both Decepticon & Autobot?" Longrack explained the case of what he was able to witness that perhaps; seeing Starscream, an evil Decepticon, made Aelita feel like frozen fear overwhelmed her.

"So it's because she remembers a jerk like Starscream, that she felt very afraid of him?" William replied off in having heard this to feel concern for the poor girl.

"Optimus…what are we gonna do?" Jeremie asked in having a lot to worry about right now.

"They will come after you if we do not have a means to retake the base?" Artemis stated in knowing how their situation looks without a base to operate.

"I have a plan, but it involves you not being with us." Optimus stated to say this without holding back.

"But why?" Jackrabbit asked off in not understanding.

"I can't say, but if things can work out alright…then I'll fill you in. Just stay hidden & contact Leo & Tigatron's group; we'll need everyone for this." Optimus explained as much as he could for those to understand where he''s getting at here.

Everyone was in silence as they were not sure what was gonna happen here. But for the most, everyone trusts Optimus, so that just leaves one thing…to trust that the Maximal Commander has a plan.

TIGATRON'S LOCATUION

The scene changes to where it's an open rocky area, where we find Tigatron in Beast Mode just moving along without knowing of anything that has occurred. He was accompanied by WolFang, K-9, Leo, Override, Wingblade & Larkshot.

"News update! From your Eye in the Sky!" Then Airazor's voice is heard from above that made Tigatron look up to see her flying down to her. "Half the Preds just left the base." Airazor issued off to state something that has occurred; half of the enemy forces have left the Axelon. "And 'guess' who's in charge?" She stated in sounding quite surprise of who is running things at the Maximal Base.

"Who?" K-9 asked off in being interested to know.

"The goofy wasp we all know." Airazor issued of to say this as if cluing the answer in.

"Waspinator, surely you are joking?" Wingblade raised an eyebrow in thinking that was not funny to be a joke.

"Even still, we received word that something did happen?" Wolfang stated in sounding concern about things the Axelon Crew lost their base.

"Then we must hurry, things sound mighty bad, & there is no word about Aelita's whereabouts?" Override exclaimed to say in what they need to do, & quickly too.

"Alright Airazor, lead the way." Larkshot exclaimed in wishing for the fembot hawk to lead the way for them.

Without further delay, Airazor flew on ahead of Tigatron to which they were gonna follow. They were gonna head up towards the mountain range location, tuber witness what has transpired to anyone's shocking surprise.

AN UNKNOWN LOCATION?

"Ugh…" Aelita was seen slowly opening her eyes, as if slowly waking up to what was happening.

The pink haired girl soon found herself in a strange location; a river tunnel in which it was almost lead to the outside out in the open. But Aelita saw she drifted to shore, but when she looked to her side, she found she wasn't alone…she found Odd laying face on the ground…

"Hugh…Odd!" Aelita gasped in who she saw, & came up to flip Odd on his back side. "Odd, are you alright?" She spoke to try to get the guy to wake up, fearing if he was still alive.

"Ugh…can I get an extra serving of meatballs, Rosa?" Odd mumbles from being somewhat out of it, as if he's half-asleep while suffering from the cut on his shoulder.

"Hugh…good, he's alive…but…" Aelita signs with relief that the boy was alive, but seem worried in spotting the cut Odd's arm showed; it needs treatment.

Suddenly, Aelita hears something of water motion, she peaked ahead to see what features they were. It was Sky-Byte, he was seen leading Razorclaw, Spittor, Snapper, Manta Ray, & Scylla, & heading towards the pink haired girl. Aelita dragged Odd to a farther spot near the wall, & focused her Creativity ability, as a digital formation came over them, & it became real to shell them close as a large bump off the flat wall surface with a split motion hardly seen to allow air. Aelita made something like a crack allow her to see, as the Predacons transform out of the water to walk on the shore in investigating the whereabouts…of the Key.

"Hey Sky-Byte, nobody's here?" Spittor stated in seeing that nobody was around.

"Great, all that searching, & it's a dry dead end?" Snapper rolled the eyes in seeing that the target is not even here no more.

"Be quiet!" Sky-Byte silenced those that dare to question his leading skills. "Listen, according to Double Punch's Cyberbee, there were no signs of any bodies further down stream that lead outside the hidden mountain." He explained this for even those here to more then likely, to understand it.

"Are you saying, they are somewhere around here?" Manta Ray asked off in finding this to be a surprise; that the Key is nearby.

"Precisely! If we find them, then Megatron will give us a Big Reward." Sky-Byte smiled off in saying this in being absolutely certain of this.

"Question…is it gonna be big as what Starscream has in being higher rank then you?" Scylla suddenly points off this question while teasing their commanding officer.

"Duh…Nrruagh! That's Not Important!" Sky-Byte yelped off in having heard this before snapping off such a statement. "What is are results! We find the Key, then it's WE that will get a huge amount of credit, understand! Even if Starscream told us to follow them, it's us doing the work. And that's that!" He made sure that everyone got the issue of what they get out of this; Starscream said to chase after the Key, but once they secure Aelita, then all credit will be Sky-Byte & his Aqua Troops.

"Well then, maybe they're hiding?" Razorclaw stated to suggest in looking around to think; the targets are hiding somewhere.

Soon the Predacons began to look around the place, but it seems that there was a location of another way out besides the river path. So far, they were not finding anything that could even remotely look like someone was here except drag marks, but they lead nowhere except to the wall.

"Hmm…?" Odd made muffle sounds from his eyes trying to open & for him come to his senses.

"Sshh….Odd?" Aelita held Odd's mouth to not make such loud noises, that will attract the Predacons to where she hid them.

"Hugh?" Sky-Byte looked to a direction in almost feeling as if; he heard something, & it came from something suspicious looking. "Hrruagh….all of you, lets check that spot of that strangely shape rock form?" He gave the order in pointing to a strangely forge rocky wall that it's layers spread out more then the rest.

"But why, it's just a stupid rock?" Spittor asked off in not following this from what he can see is nothing suspicious.

"You Dolt! It could be a discuss, yes, for the Key can perform something for concealment purposes?" Sky-Byte stated to remind everyone, that Aelita's ability is Creativity, meaning she can do something to blend in by making something around another area.

"Then let me have a CRACK at this shell?" Snapper stated to say in approaching the target.

Soon Snapper was seen pounding the bump shape wall, as it started to loosely crack. Aelita silently gasped in fearing that they were soon going to be discovered, the girl wanted to fight back, but…ghostly images of Starscream seem to cause her to freeze up in thinking…he might be near. Without knowing it, Snapper was almost about to break the structure like an egg.

"Nruhuhhuuh….Excellent, lets see what we'll find here?" Sky-Byte let off a sneaky laughter, as he is about to take a peak inside the crack to find what maybe inside.

"The only thing you'll find, is trouble!" Spoke another voice that sounded just like Cybershark.

Then at the right timing, Aelita saw from a tiny hole of her hiding place who managed to come to rescue her & Odd. It was Claw Jaw, Cybershark, Diver, Gimlet, & Sharp Edge, as they transform to Robot Mode to land on the water shore in facing the Predacon opponents.

"Oh, hey there Claw Jaw, fancy meeting you here?" Scylla wiggled to wave out to the guy she sees to be a bit playful.

"Um, hi?" Claw Jaw replied off a bit puzzled to wave a tentacle arm off at the fembot making silly giggle faces at him.

"Don't make conversations Scylla! They're the enemy! Blast them!" Sky-Byte snapped off to the fembot for making 'nice' with the enemy, as he orders that they are to blast at their targets.

Suddenly, the Predacons were firing their weapons to pin the Maximals down to take some cover. This was where the enemy had the higher ground then the other, & the Maximals tried to attack while not being hit by any shots.

"It seems like we're not very welcome here?" Diver stated off to notice how they are being treated here.

"Um, so what's the plan now…they have the higher ground?" Gimlet asked off in not knowing how to approach this.

"They're searching for the Key, right? Well…why not give it to them?" Sharp Edge spoke off with a little strangely decisive action in sounding…serious.

"Wait, we can't just give them Aelita?" Gimlet yelps to protest to that idea that doesn't sound very nice.

"Yeah, especially when A: We DON'T Have her, & B: know where she is?" Diver pointed off the problems of such things.

"Then we make them believe it." Sharp Edge stated this with a little twist of his words.

"Hugh?" Diver & Gimlet replied off in not following this guy's processing thoughts; what does he mean.

"I see the plan, then…I'll begin setting the bait." Cybershark whispered this under breath in having put together Sharp Edge's idea; as he turn to see the enemy. "Sky-Byte! You're ever the fool! You don't even realize it!" He yelled this out in trying to earn some major attention over the loud coverage of being under attack fire.

"Realize what?" Sky-Byte raised an eyebrow in finding this strangely suspicious, what's the guy talking about.

"The Key is gone, the odd kid took her & left here while making it seem like they were around. And we're here to keep you from following!" Cybershark explained forth that they were just the distraction, the two children being targeted have long since left.

"Grrrr….so it was a deceptive act! Predacons, we're leaving!" Sky-Byte growls off in sounding annoyed by this, before turning to the others in giving out the next order.

"What about them?" Manta Ray pointed out that they have yet to finish off the enemy.

"Forget the Maximals, without their base, they can't do much of anything. Without a base of operations; they'll be easy pickings!" Sky-Byte explained this logic, if one doesn't have a base to operate or recharge & restock on ammunition, then that bot is helpless.

Once things were settled, Sky-Byte & his unit were seen escaping out the other entrance out of the river tunnel. Afterwards, Aelita removed the cover that kept her & Odd out of sight, before the Aqua Maximal Units approach to check on their friend who was safe & kept quiet during the hiding fro the enemy.

"Are you alright Aelita?" Gimlet asked off to check the pink haired girl if she's injured.

"Ye-yes, but…Odd?" Aelita slightly nods in being okay, before looking at her cousin with concern.

"Hmmm…?" Odd was heard moaning as Claw Jaw carefully picks him up with his tentacle-like arms.

"He'll be fine if he's given treatment." Claw Jaw explained this that Odd can make a good recovery, if given some first aid.

"We been given word from Optimus after you two escaped. To find you, & keep you out of sight until things cooled down." Diver pointed off in what they were told to do when they found Aelita, & to make sure…she is not discovered until the matter with Starscream is over.

"Beep-Beep…/Optimus To Rescue Team, report!" Then Cybershark listen to his com-link as he was receiving Optimus by his voice on the other side.

"Cybershark here, the oddly pink package is safe." Cybershark issued off to respond with a code claim on having found Aelita & Odd.

"Good, keep them away….we're about to launch a plan into action, the other children are safely out of harms way. Wait until we give you the signal to bring the two in." Optimus' voice was heard stating out this much in sounding pleased by the news while also giving out a strange order for those to follow.

"Understood." Cybershark nods off to say before the com-link was turn off afterwards.

"What's happening?" Aelita asked off puzzled in not understanding what is occurring.

"I think…Optimus may have an idea how to beat Starscream…We can only hope?" Sharp Edge replied forth in simply stating what was best left for their trusted comrades to do while they keep Aelita out of sight for now.

Aelita felt silent about that, she felt very unsure if anyone can beat Starscream after what he displayed that the Maximals lost their base. Until then, all the girl can do is just pray, & hope that everything will be alright.

BACK AT THE AXELON…?

The scene changes to the outside view of the Maximal Base, even as it was still daylight, something else was about to occur at this time.

"Perhaps I'm being too overly sensitive, Blackarachnia?" Starscream's voice is heard as we find him & Blackarachnia in the corridor between the command center. "But is there something your not telling me?" He asked this off in getting the feeling the she-spider is not saying something to him.

"More like something your not telling US!?" Blackarachnia remotely snapped off to say this in glaring at the guy in suspicion.

"Such as?" Starscream asked off in wondering what that something he hasn't said to the Predacons might be.

"I scanned your file." Blackarachnia stated off to say this of what she was doing to research Starscream "You didn't get scrap metal by Unicorn." She stated that this guy lied about who finished him off.

"I checked the records." "You weren't destroyed by Unicorn." "You bot Blasted by Galvatron! After you Betrayed him!" Blackarachnia lectured off to gaze at what was the truth of Starscream & his action.

"GALVATRON WAS A FOOL! I deserve to lead!" Starscream leaned forth to yell this off to Blackarachnia of who he was meant to be then his leader. "So now you know my little secret?" Starscream whispered this off in seeing that Blackarachnia knows about him. "Then the question remains, why did you not Expose me to Megatron?" Starscream asked off in demanding an answer of why Blackarachnia has yet to report who he truly is.

"Well, I thought you might make me a…better offer?" Blackarachnia smiled off to slyly state what it is she is trying to say towards the guy; as she gives a wink before turning around to leave.

"Heh-heh, heh-heh, heh…" Starscream lets off a sneaky laughter as he pats the she-spider's back as they walk down the corridor together. "Greed in self-interest, eh? Excellent!" He issued off in sounding joyous to know what Blackarachnia is wanting to gain from siding with him. "I believe I deserve a protege!" He issued off in thinking it's time he starts to show a pupil under him the tutelage of how to do things; the Starscream way.

"Starscream!" Suddenly, Scorponok is seen coming up from behind those walking down the corridor that makes them face the guy. "The Maximals are approaching!" Scorponok pointed off that the Maximals they drove away, are coming back.

"We're getting into battle positions here!" Double Punch issued as he, Ripteeth, & Sling were seen getting ready.

Starscream narrowed his eyes in having heard this; what could the Maximals want after losing their base. Could they be planning to try to fight to get it back, perhaps he will have to see how things play out for him to make another victory claim.

Outside the Maximal Base…

The scene shows what was Dinobot being drag across on a made survival bed made from sticks & cloth. pulled by Rhinox. As all the Maximals; Dinobot, Rhinox, Rattrap, Cheetor, Tigatron, Airazor, K-9, Armordillo, WolFang, Razorbeast, Jackrabbit, Bonecrusher, Dive-Bomb, B'Boom, Grizzly-1, Wingblade, Leo, Override, Longrack, Larkshot & Optimus approach their lost base in Beast Mode. Optimus looked around to his crew, looking disturbed for some reason before standing up straight on his back legs.

"Starscream!" Optimus called forth to say the one in charge of their base. During the same motion, Optimus transformed to Robot Mode, many eyes were watching to see what was gonna be played out here. "We come…to surrender?" He held his head down in defeat with a message for all to hear.

Optimus shook his head in regret for this, Rhinox shook his head too, Cheetor looks up then drops again to mope. Apparently everyone was taking this action quite hard in knowing that giving up to the enemy is like saying they are theirs to do away with. During that moment, one of the hatch elevators began to open up as someone was coming out to greet them.

"Nrrugh….hmmm…?" Dinobot lifts up his head to gaze off to see what was going on.

"Would you lie down!" Rattrap silently snaps for Dinobot to put himself back in place then sitting up as if he's fine. "And groan for crying out loud!" He issued off in wanting the raptor to make some groan sounds too. "Your suppose to be HALF Dead!?" The rodent reminded Dinobot that he's suppose to be on his death bed, but only if it's believable.

"ARrughh-Chomp!" Dinobot tried to snarl & almost chop off Rattrap's head. "If you don't SHUT Up, Rodent! YOU, shall be my Role Model!" Dinobot threaten for Rattrap to pipe down, anymore disturbance, & Rattrap will be the perfect model of how one is suppose to be half-dead, or practically dead on sight.

"Doh-ho, yeah!" Rattrap brought up his tiny fist as if about to take that challenge. "You & who's…" The rodent was about to let loose & rumble it off here until…

"Grrr…/Heeeeugh!?" Tigatron growls near Rattrap to cause him to gasp slightly in seeing that he was almost causing a scene.

"Alright. Fine, ge-heh…I'm shutting up." Rattrap lightly laughs off a bit to say as he was giving up on the argument to get back on the floor. "If it ain't the Dinosaurs up yer Nose…It's the Felines?" Rattrap remotely told himself of those that can give a rodent problems from Dinobot to Tigatron, & for him…he rather not tangle with the latter.

"Well, at least you listen, Cheese-Eater…" Jackrabbit made a smug face in letting Rattrap have a hard time.

"That goes for you too, Jackrabbit." Override reminded the youngster Maximal to also do the same.

"Aww…" Jackrabbit moans from having to deal with the same issue.

Now the hatch was completely showing Starscream, Blackarachnia & Scorponok appearing before the Maximals giving themselves up.

"Surrender? Really?" Starscream asked this off in being quite surprise to hear the enemy giving up. "It seems too…Convenient?" He stated off to look to the Maximals in thinking; this action seems to convenient for the bots to give up so easily.

"We have no choice." Optimus stated off in sounding defeated about the harsh motion of the decision here. "Dinobot's…taken heavy damage." Optimus leans his head to where Dinobot is on a laying bed sack carrier, issuing that the guy is not well & could go offline.

"And you need the access to the CR Chamber?" Starscream stated in knowing what the Maximal Commander needs to help save a comrade. "How nice for you?" He stated that this was a nice act of Optimus giving in to help save a friend then try to win battle after losing an ally. "But what's in it for ME!?" As the hatch reach the ground, he snaps off to demand what Starscream gets in helping the Maximals out.

"We'll…hugh…" Optimus was hesitant, but signs to give in here. "We'll do whatever you want." He issued in that they will do whatever it is that Starscream wishes of them.

"Anything…then…how about handing over…the Key?" Starscream asked this off in liking to peal deeper of the deal.

"You…" B'Boom glared at the bot asking them to…hand over their friend like some object.

"Restrain yourself." Wolfang silently issued this out to calm his companion.

"Well…?" Starscream raised an eyebrow in having

"Sorry to say, we can't give what we don't have? In this case…it's the Key?" Larkshot shrug off to simply say this in being straight honest about the matter of not knowing where Aelita is.

"Did you not find her? Or make contact?" Starscream raised an eyebrow in being suspicious about this.

"You must realize, that you are hunting her…she will hid herself & not be found since you took our base." Leo issued to reason why Aelita will remain hidden, due to them not having a place to keep those safe.

"Perhaps it's best, if we don't know, then we can't betray Aelita." Override stated off to mention this about the case of not knowing was for the best then betraying a friend.

"So that is your choice, you don't want to be united, for fear of giving in?" Starscream stated in having figured out what the Maximals are trying to do. "But if I ask you to find the Key, you will not object to save your friend? And for being Maximals, to keep your word?" The guy was pushing all of the right buttons to get under one's metal plate.

"Yah, keep talking, you waste of a Spark…?" Grizzly-1 muttered under his breath in just keeping himself down while this jerk talks.

"I wish it was not so, but….Dinobot's life is fading, I don't have the proper tools, so…" Dive-Bomb shook his head in knowing that they need to do what they can since they can't save their comrade without proper medical equipment.

"We'll do whatever you want, even if it means…finding the Key…" Optimus stated to say this in what they are willing to do; much to everyone's shocking surprise.

Starscream narrows his optics in looking through to this action, studying it carefully to know just what it is that is about to transpire of the Maximals willing to cooperate & do whatever he says. Even if they say they don't know where the Key is, if they can cooperate to find Aelita, at least that is honoring their words as those descendant from the Autobots.

"I accept!" Starscream pointed his right hand in stating he accepts the terms of the negotiation. "Bring him him forward!" He pointed to the ground in demanding that the bots bring Dinobot here to be treated. "Lesson One: Always show compassion. It's a useful cover for your 'True' motive." He turn to whisper this to Blackarachnia in understanding the first ways of being treacherous.

MOMENTS LATER…

Soon the scene changes to inside the Maximal Base, as we see struggling to stay alive & awake (or so it's believed?) before the CR Chamber's hatch door closed on the front spot. Optimus was lured to come to the meeting alone with only his injuries comrade.

"Good. Now, you reap the appropriate reward for your trust and good faith…" Starscream spoke off to say this to Optimus who looked to the bot in charge as Scorponok pointed a missile to keep the Maximal Commander from trying anything. "Disarm him!" Starscream yelled this out to Scorponok who yelped a bit in being told what to do to Optimus. "Force him to transform, & then chain him…in the hold or somewhere!" As Starscream was yelling out these orders, Optimus had a serious gaze in his eyes in about to see…how things are about to play out.

"Alright…Double Punch, Ripteeth, get to work on the disarming & restraining him." Scorponok issued off to give the orders as Second-In-Command.

"Heh-heh, this will be the end, Primal…" Ripteeth smiled off to let off an evil cackle.

"You're coming with us." Double Punch held a missile from his claw to get the bot to listen.

"What about the other Maximals?" Sling asked off in being puzzled about what to do.

"Leave that to me, I know what will happen…" Starscream smiled off to say this in having already formulated a plan to aid them. "Get the Auto-Guns set on the Maximals, & DON'T question my actions, understand!" Starscream ordered this off to Sling, who only nod in puzzlement to follow through.

Ripteeth & Double Punch force Optimus to follow them, as Starscream looks forth in knowing what they will do next.

Back Outside The Base, Again…?

Now we see the Auto-Guns of the Maximal Base were active, as we spot the Predacons above: Starscream, Blackarachnia & Scorponok. As if getting the attention from those looking at them from above.

Attention Fools!" Starscream declared off for those to hear him out, as he began to speak with hands resting on his waist. "The Raptor & the Ape are My PRISONERS!" He held out his left arm in declaring that Dinobot & Optimus have no become his prisoners without warning. "They will be Destroyed unless You carry out MY Command!" Starscream pointed to the Maximals in declaring that unless obedience is made, the hostages will be destroyed.

"We had an agreement, Starscream!" Tigatron spoke out first of the Maximals listening to this act of treason & betrayal on their terms.

"And now we have Another one." Starscream counter off in stating that the first agreement was changed in replace of what they are about to do now. "If you wish to save the lives of your Comrades. You will Attack the Predacon Base!" He issued this off in being strict & clear of what he wants the Maximals to do to get back their friends.

"Say what!" Jackrabbit yelped in what she heard there.

"Is he serious?" Wingblade raised an eyebrow to what they have heard from the bot.

"Did he actually request an attack on…" K-9 was about to say, but was cut off from being too surprised by this.

"The Preds?" Cheetor repeated off to look stump shock in having heard that; Starscream wants to attack his own allies. "What is this?" He looked to the others in wondering just what kinda scene was this all about.

"It's called: Treachery!?" Scorponok issued off to glare at Starscream to aim his right claw missile launcher at the treacherous bot about to pull such a sneaky stunt when… "KAPovhmmm…/Uuuuaugh!?" Then Starscream shot a Sting Missile that blew up to spin the yelping Scorponok before he face forward, and… "Haugh!" Then he yelped as now another surprise came at him from…Blackarachnia. "POwfruvhmmm…/WAAAAaughhh-AAaaghhhh, AAAAaughhhh!" Scorponok was shot from an anchor arrow impact that sent him screaming off the distance as Rattrap followed it before… "CLUMpvhmmm…./UUUUUooagh!" Then Rattrap bring etc look away in overhearing Scorponok hit rock bottom from falling off the waterfalls to hit the bottom; that's gonna leave a mark.

"You….You're nothin' but a schemin' snake in the grass!" Rattrap stood up to glare & point at calling what Starscream is; a low down sneaky jerk that's bitting off everyone.

"Hmmmm, flattery will get you flattened, vermin…" Starscream issued off to say this leisurely with a Sting Missile pointed off to the targets in how words can only get one so far. "OBEY ME!" Starscream yelled off in wanting complete obedience, or else.

Having heard that, Cheetor, Tigatron, Rattrap, & the rest all looked to Rhinox on any advice in what they should do; fight to free their friends while putting them at risk, or….obey & attack the Predacons in a suicidal attempt.

"We don't have a choice." Rhinox shook his head in stating that at this moment, their choices are very limited.

"I was afraid you say that?" Dive-Bomb signs in having heard this, this…will not bold them well.

WITHIN THE MAXIMAL BASE

OPTIMUS' HOLDING AREA!?

The scene changes to where we find Optimus in Beast Mode, restrain to the wall of a corridor by his ankles, wrist & belly. Optimus was trying to struggle in getting out of the binds he was in after having been tricked by Starscream & brought in to such a situation.

"Betrayed..Shackled…And Chained." Optimus exclaimed the sticky situation he has certainly gotten himself in here. "In other words…" He slowly started to say in how things were looking for him, & they were simply… "So far, so good!" He issued off in knowing that the case of what has happened, has gone just what he wants. "Grruaughhhh!" Then with a mighty ape growling sound, he pulls the right hand which…causes some bolts to get loose o the metal wrist bind. "Ugh, Ugh…Urruagh!" Then with a little work, Optimus makes the left metal bin be pulled out. "Gruagh, Urraugh…Guuuuagh!" With enough forceful work, Optimus undoes the last metal bind on the belly area, freeing himself. "Optimus - MAXIMIZE!" Optimus spoke forth his command code to transform.

Now Optimus transforms to Robot Mode, as he then steps on some floor board here that reveals,…the hidden below deck storage with all of their weapon & ammo. As Optimus slowly leans himself down to reach for the ammo that would help him & his crew fight better then when the enemy launch their surprise attack; this time, they will be well armed.

"You ready Snarl?" Optimus called out to someone to respond.

Then appearing out of a camouflage mode was Snarl in Robot Mode, as he seem to be helping Optimus out…

"I am, just need to finish one more setting. At least Starscream did not pay attention to notice I was missing, or he notice I snuck aboard in camouflage mode." Snarl explained himself of how he came here by infiltrating with his stealth ability.

"Then lets get to work." Optimus issued off to say, that it's time that they quickly get started on their counterattack plan.

Optimus & Snarl quickly get moving, for now it's time to take back their base…

MEANWHILE, ELSEWHERE…

The scene changes to a familiar volcanic area, where we spot the Predacon Ship straight ahead. But we soon focus on a different area, where we see Rhinox, Tigatron on the scene, as they made their action of transforming to Robot Mode. And then after bringing out their weapons, began attack the Predacon Base. But the camera was zooming away to reveal the action was on the Maximal console monitor. Being watched by Starscream & Blackarachnia of seeing the plan play forth.

"Lesson Two: They're always more 'Gullible' then you Hoped!" Starscream turn to Blackarachnia in stating how gullible some folks are from one's treacherous acts to deceive them.

"Lesson Three!" Optimus' voice was heard from nearby, that caused the Predacons to lightly gasp to see to their surprise; Optimus Primal freed; wrist cannon on the left wrist, as he leaps onto the center console table. "Disregards to Lessons 1 & 2!" He issued forth to have all the lessons learn from the first two, to be disregarded now.

"Powfruvhmm…Boomvhmmm…/GWwuaghhh!" Optimus fired a cannon shot that made Blackarachnia yelped as she & Starscream split off from the monitor console.

"He's no match for the two of us!" Starscream set himself up with a weapon, telling blackarachnia they can win; Two against One. "Destroy him!" He yelled out that they are to destroy Optimus.

"Popfruvhm…/Povhmmm…" Soon a Sting Missile & Anchor Arrow was shot off towards Optimus. "Grruaghh…." Optimus leaped up to grab the ceiling to dodge those attacks. "How bout we make this a Double Date." Optimus made a wise-crack in changing the number of opponents to be fought.

"Powvhmm…Bamfruvhmmm…" Then Optimus shot a wrist cannon that imploded by the CR Chamber, as it pops open. "GRuuuuaghh…MAXIMIZE!" Dinobot was seen roaring out to appear transforming to Robot Mode, as he held his Rotating Tail Blade & Rotating Tail Sword out.

"What's going on?" Double Punch appeared to be rushing in with Ripteeth & Sling, as they had their weapons out to join the fight.

"Surprise!" Snarl's voice was heard that caught the Predacons by surprise as they enter the Command Center.

Then without warning, a hidden string was pulled in two different directions, causing Double Punch to fall to the right & Sling & Ripteeth to the left as they landed in the two hatch elevators.

"Here's something for you both on the way out." Snarl stated as he appeared out of stealth mode to then throw in some TNT packs.

"Wait! This is…!?" Ripteeth yelps in what he was holding to be yelping.

"DYNAMITE!" Sling yelled out in looking scared of what this might mean.

Then Snarl press the button for both hatch elevator to drop down before the three Predacons could react. There was a loud explosion sound afterwards, as the sounds of moaning was heard; Slingm, Ripteeth & Double Punch were at least taken care of.

"Very impressive Optimus Primal." Starscream lightly commented the action seen by Optimus' work to even the odds. "But I still have my Wits! And My Superior Speed!" Starscream yelled forth this issue of what he has, as he suddenly takes off to spin around Optimus, & was seen flying forth up towards the opening ceiling hatch; escaping.

"Thanks for the help!" Blackarachnia remarked off to say this in seeing her mentor leave suddenly without her. "Remind me to return the favor!" Blackarachnia stated to say this in sarcasm, as she fired her anchor hookshot upwards, & pulled up towards the hatch ceiling to escape another blast from almost getting her.

"That's all of them. The base is ours again." Snarl signs in relief, they got the base back.

"Click…/Optimus to Rhinox. Come in!" Optimus was using his com-link to get in contact with Rhinox & the others; but all he was getting was static. "Gauge….Too much interference. I have to closer!" Optimus shook his head off in realizing that there was too much Energon interfering with the signal, he needs to get closer to contact everyone. "Prime Jets ON!" Optimus announced froth this command for his system; as he shot off by jet propulsion to fly off out of the ceiling hatch.

"Hmmmm…?" Dinobot stood by in watching Optimus leave, as the Maximal Commander flew off out of the mountain into the sky, & through an active Warp Gate; all to reach the destination of their crew members.

BACK WITH THE MAXIMALS ATTACK STATE…?

We soon return to enemy territory, as we spot Cheetor, Jackrabbit & Rattrap were crawling on the ground to approach the front spot of the Predacon Ship. They stopped to observe things before Rattrap head signal Cheetor & Jackrabbit to follow his direction which the cadet gave a nod for. They continue to crawl on the ground to approach the front entrance of the enemy base, all to be stealthy. But then without warning, the ship's auto-search lights flash on downwards.

"Heheh!?" Rattrap yelped from what happened, as he was in the spotlight to look up in showing a worried expression here.

"Uh-oh…." Jackrabbit yelped out in what this meant that they been spotted by enemy lights.

That's when the Predacon Base's Auto-Guns were seen in turning to set their sights on the targets beneath the base.

"Hugh!" Cheetor yelped in also witnessing what was above them; as he showed wide-eyes of concern.

Them Auto-Guns looked like they could seriously do some damage, the Maximals that tried to infiltrate are now in the tight spot. One wrong move & it could be the end for them, & that just leaves them with one thing to do.

"RHINOX!" Rattrap, Jackrabbit & Cheetor were heard yelling out for a friend in asking for help here.

"BangbangbangbangbangBangBang…." Rhinox was seen firing his gatling machine guns off at the target base. "Pow, Pow, Pow, Pow, Pow, Pow…." Course the Pred defense Auto Guns were also firing back some excessive firepower.

"GYYaaaughhh-AAahhhh!" Rattrap was heard screaming as he, Cheetor, got up & ran on out of the lion's den as fast as they could.

"Gyyyuaghhh!" Cheetor yelps as he, Rattrap, leaped off to descend down on a rocky volcanic platform while missing the lava.

"EEeeeekkk!" Jackrabbit yelps out loudly as she hops to land on something.

"This is suicide." Rhinox exclaimed to say this in seeing how they are fairing; this attack is a suicidal attempt. "We gotta pull back!" Rhinox issued off with wide concern that they need to get out of here & regroup.

Rhinox, Airazor, Tigatron, & the rest of the Maximals continued to fire at the enemy base while backtracking towards a large boulder that they used for cover. Rattrap, Cheetor & Jackrabbit ran to avoid the blasting of the enemy's Auto-Guns before ducking for cover with the others. The attack seem to cease, & Rhinox tried to look back a bit to figure out what they were gonna do next.

"NO! Attack!" Starscream's voice was heard that made Rhinox & the others look up in who was speaking to them to continue their assault. "That's An Order!" Starscream flew onto the scene to give a direct order for the Maximals to continue their attack, or else…

The Maximals were taking cover, they were not sure if they can last much longer from their state. But just then, someone flew in to cut between Starscream & the rest, it was…Optimus Primal.

"I have to tell you, Starscream, you're giving space debris a 'very' bad name." Optimus gave a stern gaze to remotely state of what Starscream is to his opinion.

"Primal, you begin to IRRATE ME!" Starscream snapped off in sounding furious by this Maximal Commander to no ends.

"Big Bot! Alright!" Cheetor cheered in seeing that their commander is back, safe & sound; which means the hostage case that force them to do Starscream's bidding is over.

"The plan worked." Armadillo exclaimed in seeing that the plan to get their base back from within worked.

"We got our base back!" K-9 exclaimed in how things worked out just as Optimus said.

"So what do we do now that we don't have to listen to Starscream?" Razorbeast asked off in looking ready to finally cut loose from their oppressor.

"I can think of a few things? PAYBACK TIME!" Bonecrusher exclaimed to say in feeling the eager urge to deal some payback for having been dealing with this suicidal attempt mission.

"Yep! I'd say it's tramplin' time!" Rhinox issued off in seeing that it's time they start giving a little payback to who was making them endure this much suffering.

Rhinox & many others were about to get ready to unleash their fiery weapon fury on Starscream here & now, until…

"No…Leave him to me!" Optimus spoke off in giving the others the order to let him handle Starscream. "He's Mine!" He became serious in wanting to handle this bot, personally.

Then without warning, Optimus jetted off without warning now. Starscream was firing Sting Missiles that imploded in mid-air, but they missed impacting Optimus who was flying straight towards the danger. Finally, Optimus got himself ready in rounding up his right hand before…he delivered a punch.

"GRRuagh!" Optimus had made an impressive uppercut move that knock his opponent off.

"GRUUAAArughhhh!" Starscream let off a crying wail as he was shot off through the air. "Frushvmmm…SPLATvhmm…" His body was shot across the area before it impacted a tall rocky cliff right in the head, as he dropped. "Guuuagh!?" Then Starscream yelped from as the body hit the ground with legs up & arms spread. "Wuuagh-AAauughhh!?" He made moaning sounds as if he was in pain as his legs fell down.

Then a remote pinpoint line from a computer screen was marking Starscream's location with a few beeps. It's then revealed that it's actually within the Predacon Base that the stuff happening right now is being displayed; including what has been going on since the attack started.

"GRrrughh….Starscream & Blackarachnia!" Megatron sneer'd off in realizing this uncovered acts of treachery. "And Blackarachnia! I'll have both their treacherous hides! Ye-es-s-s…" Megatron glared off in stating just what he will do when he next sees those that dare to oppose him. "I'll, I'll melt them down and use them for aluminum siding! Oh, yeesss, indeed!" Megatron snarled off in gritting his teeth in planning ahead in fury of what kind of torment he'll give to those that oppose him; no mercy indeed. "Grrrrr…." He growls in fury as he continues to watch what will soon play out next here.

Back with the battle, we see what is occurring….

Starscream was seen tossed across the rocky surface, as he leans his head up to see what was happening. Then Optimus made a loud stomp to land near a few feet away from Starscream. Optimus aim his left Wrist Cannons at the target with a serious gaze, Starscream almost gaze forth to aim his Sting Missile at the target. Despite both holding a weapon against another, Starscream seem to be moving backwards in his lay down side to get distance from Optimus; not noticing a strange rock feature sticking out of the ground.

"O-O-Optimus. My…Friend?" Starscream was shuttering his words in trying to speak his way out with his cowardly ways. We-We've been impetuous. Surely we can work something out…" Starscream was backing himself into a corner as he was unaware of what he was nearing behind him that pulsated with energy; then the enemy looked to his left to spot…what may save him. "Blackarachnia! Destroy him and we can still triumph…" As Starscream yelled out, Optimus followed the gaze to find Blackarachnia on top of the towering Predacon Base with a weapon in her pincer hand. "Together!" Starscream exclaimed to say & briefly move the head to signal the she-spider to fire on Optimus Primal to save him.

"Are ALL your dreams in technicolor?" Blackarachnia issued off to say this in a remote sound while aiming her launcher weapon to narrow her sight of aim, & lean her weapon towards…something else.

That's when Starscream began to turn his head in noticing, that just behind him, there was a small cache of pulsating Energon underneath the ground of where they were.

"Energon?" Starscream yelps off in noticing the small cache of Energon, it was faint; but it's raw in power. Then suddenly, Waspinator's body yelps from an Energon Buildup reaction that Starscream was feeling the paralyzing effects. "You've 'Betrayed' ME!" Starscream yelled off in witnessing what Blackarachnia has done; betraying him.

"I studied with the master." Blackarachnia simply stated that she learn from the master; to be treacherous for her own needs.

That's when Blackarachnia fired off her missile, as it was heading for the area of where a yelping Starscream was a sitting duck. Optimus saw this to smile in seeing how when that missile hits, of what will happen after. As the missile was coming straight towards a worrying Starscream & a still confident Optimus.

"Hasta la vista, Starscream!" Optimus issued off with a sly rhetorical sense in seeing how this was the end of one long since pass; as the Maximal Commander took off without a second later.

"NOooooooooo-AAAAAaaughhhhaaaahhhh!" Starscream was heard making a loud wailing cry that could be heard all around as Optimus left the sight; as the missile comes in contact with the tall rocky cliff & then…

"BOOMFruvhmmm…KAPOWWvhmmm…" The impacted was massively strong of an explosion from hidden Energon, that it blew up the cliff to rubble. When it was all over & done with, there was nothing left but a large crater after the shaking went down. After a while, everything went black with much questions to wonder…what happens after…

LATER ON…

IN PRED MEDICAL BAY…?

The scene changes to what was likely the medical bay area for the Predacons, as many of those that were present watch as Waspinator's body lay to be curious of what happen after that Energon explosion even on a small scale that took out a cliff.

"NrrruuOhhh... Waspinator has a headache in his whole body…" Waspinator spoke off like his old self from the ache he was feeling as Megatron held his head in his T-Rex head while listening to the same old usual Waspinator third person persona. "DruuuaOhh! Then he yelped as Waspiantor's head was being screw'd back into his body after he was separated.

"Looks like Starscream's Spark has been disgorged from Waspinator's body?" Buzz Saw stated in what they have learn of this little discovery.

"Double Punch, Sling & Ripteeth just managed to make it back by Warp Gate." Retrax pointed off in having

"So we lost the Maximal Base too. Such a drag…" Drill Bit exclaimed off in realizing that they had a major losing event.

"But that doesn't explain why when Scorponok reported, you were aiding the traitor?" Vice Grip exclaimed about what occurred that they want to know, what the she-spider was doing.

"Yes, why did you do that, Blackarachnia?" Jetstorm raised an eyebrow in feeling suspicious, as the dragonfly bot was very slcpisous of such an action.

"Sorry to say fellas…It was the only way." Blackarachnia shrug off to explain herself of what she did & why she did it to everyone & to her leader. "I had to play along with Starscream to find out his "true" intentions." She pointed off that she was trying to get the truth of what Starscream was planning all along & held a pincer to clip it to make her point clear.

"You literally tried to appear as if you were siding with him?" Sky-Byte raised an eyebrow in having heard this to be left stump of this action.

"To deceive your enemy, you must first deceive everyone around you?" Shadow Panther thought this out in having to vaguely get the idea of such a tactic.

"Right, so as you can see….it takes more then Brawn to win, it takes Brains too…" Blackarachnia issued off to simply say this as the answer of what she did.

Hmmm…"You are smooth, Blackarachnia. Very smooth." Megatron exclaimed off to say this in having absorbed this information to gaze a bit at the she-spider for having played along to find out the truth of Starscream's actions before dealing the final blow on the traitor that sick the Maximals on them. "It does not inspire confidence….No-o-o-o….!" Megatron kept a serious expression to shake his head that from seeing one of his troops display such a 'smooth' action that requires cunning & out-witting others; it makes him have suspicion of what Blackarachnia is capable of in the far future.

BACK AT THE MAXIMAL BASE

AFTER ESCAPING A GRUELLING BATTLE…?

The scene changes to inside the Maximal Base, where we find the Maximals fixing up the place like Rattrap fixing his console chair spot.

"Heh! Neighbors!" Rattrap huffed off to make a light joke on something of their enemies while Dinobot carries a crate towards another location. "Aaaah, invite them in, & look at what happens?" He waved down to the fix seat of how when the Predacons come in, ethereally mess up the place. "Ah well! Home Sweet Home!" Rattrap shrug off to say this as he turn to Optimus that fix the center console table; as the rat shrug off the shoulders in being glad they are back.

"For once, we can agree…it's good to be home." Dive-Bomb exclaimed to say this of how things are that they can be glad they are home.

"Yeah, I mean…it's the only Cybertronian Tech Base on the whole planet?" Bonecrusher shrug off to say this while putting more crates down.

"Not counting the Predacon Ship….NOT a fan of that thing." Armordillo pointed off to say this for something to talk about.

"For now, there is much to be done." Wolfang stated in seeing they have much work to cover.

"Right…The others are off covering the area to make sure, we're more aware of any Predacons waiting to catch us again." Optimus replied off to simply say this before changing his focus towards…the human children sitting together. "How are you feeling Aelita?" Optimus saw Aelita was given some warm coco & a blanket, as Jeremie's group was making her comfortable while Odd was given the same thing with a bandage wrap around his left arm.

"I'm alright, thank you…I'm…sorry about before?" Aelita apologize for the things that were her own fault. "And Odd, I'm sorry for having you risk yourself for me like that." She turn to say she's sorry for her cousin, in having him get hurt because she froze from fear of seeing Starscream.

"Ehh, no worries…it's only a slight cut…it'll be better in a week." Odd smiled off to say this in showing a strong side to not be brought down.

"Just be glad you managed to avoid a buzz saw from that scrawny body figure." Ulrich stated to say this about Odd's figure having been perfect to miss an attack.

"How many times I gotta say it!? It's Svelte!" Odd protest off loudly in hating it when people or bots say he's scrawny.

"Well, at least you were not a big target, that's what counts." William smiled off to make a light comment about this.

"And now that Starscream's gone, maybe things won't be as hard as they were before." Sissi stated to say this in trying to look on a bright side of things.

"Right, without his tactics, Megatron won't be able to pull such a stunt to catch you guys off guard." Yumi nods off to lightly smile on agreement; the Predacons pulled off a surprise tactic from Starscream's military experience, but now they won't anymore.

"One can only hope for the best for our future…" Longrack exclaimed to sign in hoping that the enemy will not have such an advantage.

"At least now Aelita won't be afraid, an enemy from her past certainly brought some drama." Artemis stated to say this in having seen what trauma the girl experienced.

"Still….he was probably the only one that knew much about me? Of what I am?" Aelita stated to sign for a brief moment of what escaped her.

"You don't need a selfish jerk to tell you who you are, just be yourself Aelita. That's who we come to know & care for." Jeremie smiled off to say this in trying to cheer the girl up.

"Thank you…all of you." Aelita smiled to look to her group of friends, feeling comfortable & relief from their words.

Things seem to be moving smoothly, Optimus nods his head in seeing that what Aelita has gone through has settled down a bit; it's not easy, the girl was only a helpless object as Decepticons & Autobots fought to use her for evil or to protect her. For now, the Maximal Commander is glad that she was alright, that's what's important.

"Cheetor…" Optimus looked up to call out to the cadet to get his attention. "Planning to help with the clean-up?" He waved up a left hand to show a small smile in liking it if they had more help cleaning up the mess that was made.

We soon find Cheetor & Jackrabbit in Beast Mode, as he was above the ceiling hatch, were it was already nighttime with the stars & the two moons already out.

"Ah, just checkin' for new constellations." Cheetor shrug off his shoulders to state this off as he was observing the night sky. "Twinkle, twinkle, little Starscream…" Cheetor lightly issued off a sarcastic remark in looking at the sky in knowing 'someone' has now become long gone.

"How we wonder….how you're doing now? Heh-heh…" Jackrabbit made a playful retort on that 'twinkle-twinkle little star' rhyme, just to rub mud in Starscream's face even as he's gone.

The camera begins to zoom upwards in the night sky, as the scenery begins to focus on what is occurring…

BACK IN SPACE…?

Above the planet, we soon spot a familiar Spark, know to be Starscream, was seen drifting away from the planet that the Maximals & Predacons settle on to perform the Beast Wars.

"I'll be BAAAACK!" Starscream's voice was heard as he was hollering within space. "Even if it takes a THOUSAND Years!" Starscream yelled off this message as he drifts further & further away… "I'll be 'Revenged' on You AAAAAALLLLLLL!" Starscream's voice was last heard making it's longest wailing howls, as if drifts further….and further, and further into deep space. And then in flash within a dark portion of space, as if vanishing into the endlessly space sky, where Starscream is….that is a mystery that is left…unknown?

NOTES: Much of this has a few differences from the actual episode of Possession, but will also play off in the next chapter to come.

Well, this here was quite a story to be seen, what a VISION indeed. And now, something else to the mix, an original I'm gonna add to the fold to spice things up. In the next chapter, Aelita's encounter with Starscream causes her to foresee something that scares her enough, that her powers make some hidden Stasis Pods become active to be found. While searches are being done, problems of different encounters are made when the Predacons get some new addition, including another rank commander that Megatron promotes. Dinobot has an argument with Optimus Primal, stating that the Maximals lack military experiences, especially since what good are rising numbers if there are no one keeping charge in Optimus' absence. Finally, it seems that the Ex-Pred takes a leave when he is approach by Jeremie's group to maybe go with them to…the Smithsonian Museum to learn about their planet's history & warriors of old. But, will this trip go so smoothly without…encountering problems of being GRIM, & LOCK in more trouble when the enemy appears to take the Key…or will another thing from Aelita's past come…into light? Stay tune to find out…
