Chapter 35-Heart Troubles

"What do you mean you the one that set Dean up Robbie? As I recall you were here with me the entire time and you only left after you got that message from Danny," Noel asked very confused." She had no idea what was going on.

"Yeah I know that, but the truth is…is that for the past couple of months I have been getting close to you just to give Dad and Alex updates on you guys. I'm the one that also dropped the pills at your house and filled your head with ideas that Dean was abusing them again. This whole thing is my fault," Robbie said with his head hanging low. He never felt anymore worthless than he did right now.

Noel just looked at Danny for confirmation and when he nodded his head, Noel gave Robbie a nice good slap to his face. "I can't believe that you would do that to us Robbie! After we trusted you and took you back into our lives, this is how who repay us!" Noel yelled at him not caring that they were in a hospital.

Robbie stood up from where he was sitting and let out a frustrated growl, "I'm a horrible person okay I get that! I feel so fucking horrible that I don't know how I would be able to live with myself. After I went to see Alex yesterday, I immediately knew that what I was doing was wrong, so I decided not to plant the pill bottle that you found. I guess that as I was leaving I tripped and the pills fell out of my pocket. I tried to go get them back, but that's when you showed up at my door. I can't tell you how sorry I am Noel. I never wanted this to happen. You have to believe me."

"That's the thing Robbie, after everything that you have done I can't find it in my heart to believe you. You have broken the bond that we have developed the last couple of months. With that being said I think that you need to leave and never speak to me and my family again. Not only that, but if something happens to Dean or our girls, I will find some way to hunt you down and kill you. Remember that I was raised by three military men," Noel threatened him with everything in her being.

"Please Noel just give me one more chance to make things right please," Robbie begged his sister.

However before she had a chance to respond, there was a knock at the door and a doctor walked in. "Hello, I hope that I'm not interrupting anything, but I thought that you might like an update on your boyfriend and daughters," the doctor told Noel.

Noel quickly nodded her head and said, "Yes doctor please tell me some good news." She just wanted something good to come out of this horrible situation.

"Well for the most part, I think that you will be able to come see your daughters here in a day or two when you are more healed. We went ahead and gave the girls a full work up and I am satisfied with how they are doing. I would just like them to stay in an incubator for a while especially when it comes to Twin B. As you know there were some complications with her, but she is now breathing on her own and we are just waiting to see if she will eat or not. Other than that, I would say that they are completely healthy," the doctor smiled.

"That's great news doctor. We were so worried when we saw them being rushed to the NICU," Danny said when his sister couldn't speak. Noel was too busy crying her tears of joy. "Now what about Dean, is he going to make it?"

That's when the doctor's expression frowned and said, "Unfortunately that's when I have not so great news. As you know Mr. Ambrose sustained extensive damage in the accident that he had. At first we thought that we had him stable, but then his vitals dropped and his heart stopped again. Thankfully we were able to resuscitate him and got his pulse back. Now here is where it is hard to say. With so much stress on his heart and with it stopping repeatedly, I'm afraid that you boyfriend is in heart failure."

Everyone was stunned by what they just heard. "What do you mean heart failure? He is going to be okay though in time right? I mean I'm sure that you guys can find a way to save him," Noel cried into Danny's chest. She didn't like what she hearing at all.

"Unfortunately there is no way that we can save him or fix his heart I'm afraid. All we can do now is either let him slip away peacefully or we find a way to keep him alive in time for us to find him a donor heart," the doctor told them. He hated delivering this type of bad news.

"We are not going to let Dean slip away I can assure you. Dean is strong enough to stay alive for as long as it takes. Just tell us what we have to do in order to find a donor," Danny said slightly offended at what the doctor suggested.

The doctor sighed and said, "While like I said before, there is really nothing that we can do at this point. We can put Dean's name on a donor list for a new heart, but even then it can take days, weeks, even months for a heart to become available."

Noel finally had enough to strength to speak and said, "Then that's what we are going to do. Even if we have to find that donor ourselves, Dean will be getting a new heart I can assure you that."

"Alright then, I'll get Dean's name on the donor list as fast as I can. In the meantime I want you to rest up and think of some names for your little girls. We can't keep calling them Twin A and Twin B forever," the doctor smiled and left the room.

Once he was gone, Danny looked down at Noel and asked, "How are you doing sis? I know that the doctor had a lot of information to take in." He knew that he had a hard time believing everything and he couldn't imagine how his sister was feeling.

Noel just looked at him and said, "I don't know how I'm feeling Danny. I mean I'm happy that the girls are going to be okay, but this whole thing with Dean is real scary. I don't know what I am going to do if I lost him Danny. However at the same time I know that I have to be strong for my family and be optimistic that everything is going to be okay."

Danny just nodded at what she had to say and took her into his arms hugging his sister tight. As the two embraced each other, neither one realized that Robbie was no longer in the room and wasn't even in the hospital at this point.

With Robbie….

As soon as Robbie heard what was happening to Dean, rage began to fill his blood and he was out for blood. If Dean needed a heart, then he was going to be him one no matter what the cost. His first step was to gather his father and Alex in one place and then he would make up the rest as he went.

Pulling out his phone, Robbie sent a quick text to Alex, "Where are you?"

"I'm at my fucking hotel celebrating. Where do you think I am?" Alex replied back.

"Yeah I know what you did asshole and I'm fucking pissed. Just call my dad over to your place and I'll be there shortly.

From that point on Robbie didn't get a reply back, but he knew that Alex was doing what he told him to do. As soon as that was taken care of, Robbie knew that he had to find a place where he could do his dirty work and he knew the perfect place. Turing into a new by shooting range where his dad used to take him when he was little, Robbie was happy to find that it was closed for good, so that was another check mark on his list.

Finally with things slowly falling into place, Robbie took off towards Alex's hotel ready to confront him and his father about what they had done.

Wow, that was one intense chapter. I can't believe that Dean's heart is failing. That is so sad. However on the other hand I'm happy that the twins sound like they are going to be okay and that Noel could see them in a little bit. Also I am interested in seeing what Robbie had planned.

Also we are a couple of chapters away from the end!
