Sonny went out to the porch.

"Alcazar wants to talk to you if you're willing," Sonny said, holding the phone out to her.

Kellie hesitated before grabbing the phone.

"Uncle Lo," she said, tearing up.

"You have no idea how good it is to hear your voice," Lorenzo said, "How are you holding up?"

"I'm not sure I really know the answer to that right now," Kellie said, "Sonny said we're good even after I."

"I never held that against you, Kellie," Lorenzo said, "The most important thing right now is we know where you are and are going to come get you. For all his faults, you need to trust Sonny to look out for you right now. When we get you home, we'll sort through all the rest later and fill-in whatever blanks need to be filled in."

Lorenzo explained to Kellie how she went missing.

"Are you okay?" Lorenzo asked when she was silent.

"I will be," Kellie said, "It's just lot right now, everything I know, don't know, all the questions."

"It's going to take awhile to sort through all that," Lorenzo said.

"Do you happen to know how I got pregnant?" Kellie asked, "Sonny said he doesn't think it was anything shady."

"Those kids are yours created through the usual methods," Lorenzo said, "Their father has been worried sick about you and them."

"My relationship with the father?" Kellie asked.

"A little complicated," Lorenzo said, "There were some circumstances keeping you apart. But you both were working on fixing that."

"None of this can be simple can it," Kellie remarked, before tears fell again and she couldn't speak.

Sonny took the phone from her. He and Lorenzo ended the call.

Sonny turned his attention back to Kellie, sitting on the porch swing with her.

"I'm sorry," Kellie said, "I don't understand what's wrong with me."

"There's absolutely nothing wrong with you," Sonny said, turning Kellie's face toward him, "If there's one thing to listen to your old man about it's this. What you've been through is going to take some time to sort through. Someone kidnapped you and messed with your head. There's almost a whole year of time you can't account for resulting in some pretty big changes for you going forward. Sometimes it won't faze you and other times it's going to hit you like a hurricane. There's no rush for to have all the answers right now. We'll give them to you as you're ready to help ease some of that. You just relax and take care of yourself. Alcazar and I will take care of the rest. When we get you home, you and the babies' father can figure out where you go from here."

"Lorenzo said I had a relationship with someone," Kellie said, "But apparently it's complicated. We couldn't actually be together for some reason. But he's been worried about me and the babies."

"But that has to be relief knowing that it wasn't anything you feared," Sonny said, "That you made those babies out of love and that the father's waiting for you."

"I guess…. Ah hell," Kellie said as the tears came again. She cried against Sonny's shoulder.

When the crying subsided again.

"I'm sorry I'm such a mess right now," Kellie said, "I keep using your shoulder as my own personal kleenex."

"My shoulders can take it," Sonny said, "You more than earned the right to be mess right now. If makes you feel better, you can probably blame the pregnancy hormones. That can't be helping either. Like I said, when it comes to giving you answers, we'll take things slow and easy. When you're ready to know more about the babies' father, all we have to do is call your uncle."

"He didn't tell you?" Kellie asked.

"Nope," Sonny said, "But he did tell me Dante is already working with him. Apparently, you hired him to handle your security. It turns out you're friends with Jordan Durant and he's working with them too."

"Jordan's working with my uncle and Dante to find me?" Kellie was perplexed, "We don't exactly get along. Was he in Port Charles too when I was there?"

"Yes, he's been in Port Charles," Sonny said.

"I'm surprised Port Charles is still standing," Kellie said.

"It's that bad," Sonny asked.

"Yes," Kellie said.

"Whatever happened between the two of you," Sonny said, "Alcazar seems to trust him. He does not strike me as the type to leave any pregnant woman to whatever situation this. He stepped in at the diner and got you away from me when I was being more than arrogant prick as you put it. If he shows up, you go with him."

Back in Port Charles, Dante and Jordan met Lorenzo in his study.

"You said you had a lead on Kellie," Dante said.

"The emergency line I kept for Kellie got a hit," Lorenzo said, "Sonny called me on her behalf."

"Sonny?" Jordan exclaimed, "Did he have anything to do with kidnapping her?"

"No," Lorenzo said, "But Kellie is with Sonny now. She's fine and the babies are fine."

"Then what happened?" Dante asked.

"Kellie woke up about five days ago in the Esoterra compound," Lorenzo said, "Chained to a bed."

"Her own territory, that doesn't make any sense," Dante said.

"Unless she has a traitor," Jordan said, "Which means her organization has been lying to us for months. There's no way Jorge wouldn't know she was at the Esoterra estate."

"Yes," Lorenzo said, "She managed to get herself unchained and escaped through a tunnel only she and a housekeeper knew about in that room. The house keeper left her food and water at the end of the tunnel which came out at the opposite side of the city from the Estate. She ended up on a bus headed out of town where she met a mid-wife. The mid-wife figured out she was running from something and traveled with her, taking her to someone she thought could help her. "

"And that someone turned out to be Sonny," Jordan said.

"Something doesn't add up here," Dante said, "Why didn't Kellie call one of us? I'm sure she could have found a phone at some point."

"It doesn't sound like she did. She was trying to get far away from San Cristo. Plus, she doesn't remember anything from about January before she came to Port Charles until she woke up in the Esoterra compound," Lorenzo said.

Jordan cursed, "You're telling me Kellie woke up to find herself 7 months pregnant and no idea how she got that way. She has no idea that we…"

Jordan went to punch the wall, but Dante stopped him.

"She doesn't remember getting together with you," Dante said, "That sucks, but we can't change that. The last thing you need is a broken hand. You might need that hand to shoot or punch some bad guys when we rescue Kellie. Better yet, you're going to need that hand to hold her and…."

"Ahem," Lorenzo said, "As Kellie's uncle I don't want to know where that train of thought is going, Dante… Sonny and I have told her that she was in a relationship with someone here in Port Charles that resulted in her getting pregnant. She's knows that you're worried about her."

"But you haven't told her who I am to her now," Jordan said.

"Sonny and I both agree she needs the blanks filled in a little bit at a time as she's ready," Lorenzo said, "The way this ordeal played out, she's got a lot to cope with, to process."

"Jordan, her head's been messed with really bad," Dante said, "The last thing she remembers about your relationship is that it train wrecked and she blames herself for that. I need to know when we go get her, can you hold back if that's what she needs. She's going to need time. But the two of you worked it out once, and memory or no memory, I believe you'll figure it again. She's already having your kids even if she doesn't know it yet. You're just going to need to be patient."

"That's not exactly my strong suit," Jordan said.

"Sounds like your sister," Lorenzo said.

Jordan glared at Lorenzo.

"He's right," Dante said, "But can you hold back, stick to the plan we come up with?"

"Yeah," Jordan said.

They proceeded to discuss options for getting Kellie out of South America when Scorpio showed up.
