Chapter 37

Quinn sighs as she repositions herself yet again on the sofa, struggling to get comfortable and ignoring the wary looks she's receiving from her wife and daughter.

"You don't have to stare at me all the time" she snaps, "I'm sure you'll know when he decides to come out!" Santana raises her eyebrows but says nothing, watching as Olivia leaves the room.

"I know you're uncomfortable but you need to stop yelling at her when she's not doing anything wrong. Yell at me all you want but don't take it out on Olivia" Santana tells her firmly before following their daughter into the kitchen. She finds Olivia sitting at the kitchen table. "You want some hot chocolate?" the latina asks, starting to make it when the girl nods. Olivia stays silent until her Mami joins her at the table, sliding her hot chocolate to her.

"I wish the baby would come, Mom's mean right now" Olivia sighs.

"Yeah I know baby, don't take it personally, she's just really uncomfortable all the time and tired. We all want the baby to move his butt" Santana tells the girl with a sympathetic smile. "We just have to be patient with your mom, she'll be back to her usual self soon enough"

"I hope so" Olivia grumbles as Quinn enters the kitchen, the older blonde kisses Olivia's forehead.

"I'm sorry sweetheart, I know I've been kinda crazy the last couple of weeks" Quinn says softly, "Just ignore me when I'm being grouchy ok?" she smiles as Olivia nods. "And I'm sorry to you too" Quinn tells her wife, kissing her and sitting down next to her.

"Marcus will be worth it" Santana smiles.

"Veto" her wife responds instantly.

"I like Caleb" They both turn to look at Olivia in surprise, she hadn't mentioned it before. Santna shifts her focus to Quinn, silently conversing with her, a small smirk on her face.

"Caleb Fabrey-Lopez..I like it" the blonde says while looking at the latina who nods.

"Good job pretty girl" Santana grins, high fiving her daughter.

Santana can't stop the tears from rolling down her face as Quinn hands the tiny bundle over to her, she looks down at her son, gently stroking his dark hair and gazing at him in awe as she place a soft kiss to his tanned forehead. She sits on the hospital bed next to her wife, no words were needed as they looked down at their perfect son. They spend the next few minutes in silence, only looking away from the baby when they hear a soft knock at the door. Brittany lets go of Olivia's hand as the girl walks over to her parents and baby brother.

"'Liv, meet Caleb" Santana grins.

"He's so little" Olivia breathes. "And cute!"

"Yeah he is, you wanna hold him?" Quinn asks gently. "Mami will help you" Olivia nods, sitting on the chair next to her mom's bed. Santana smiles as she gently places Caleb into Olivia's waiting arms.

"Support his head" she murmers, adjusting her daughter's arms for her, "There you go" she smiles. Quinn and Santana watch Olivia interracting with her new brother, listening to the soft whispers of love coming from the girl, her face lighting up as her brother's tiny hand grips onto her finger. They notice Brittany standing outside the door, clearly wanting to give them their moment, she slowly walks in as Santana motions for her to. The tall blonde kneels down next to Olivia, knowing that the kid wouldn't be giving up her baby brother anytime soon.

"He's beautiful guys" she exclaims, beaming at her friends. Santana nods and turns to look at Quinn, brushing a stray stand of hair from the blonde's face.

"Just like his mommy" the latina murmers to her wife, placing a soft kiss to her forehead. Quinn blushes slightly, grinning at Santana and the latina thinks her wife hs never been so stunning.

Really short chapter I know but I've got a lot going on at the moment and I thought I should at least give you the baby after you've all waited so patiently! Review please :)
