Yes I know it has been like forever since I updated this story and I'm sorry. But to apologize I have written a very long chapter to make up for it. I hope you like it. The middle isn't exactly the way I thought it would be, but I think it turned out decent. I have a lot of ideas for this story and I am thinking of making a sequel as well. Ok, please leave me a nice review. Always remember, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. And if you wouldn't want something said about your story, then don't do it to me. Ok, thanks so much and don't forget to follow and favorite. Thanks and I'll see you next time.

A few weeks had gone by and Elizabeth had gotten into a routine when she would take Klaine to school.

First she would get up and get ready before she had to wake him up and then get him ready. They would ride the bus to school and once there, she would drop him off at the day care and go to class. She usually got a chance to see him at lunch, which was nice for the both of them. After lunch Elizabeth would go to her afternoon classes and as soon as the final bell rang, she would zip out of her classroom to pick up her son. Once they got home, it was usually time for a bath and bedtime.

Ever since Carly had texted Elizabeth about this new kid, Daniel, she couldn't help thinking about him. She wanted to meet him, but she didn't want to at the same time. She was very conflicted.

While in between working on her homework and taking care of Klaine one Saturday afternoon, Elizabeth decided to call Carly. Since Klaine was down for his nap, Elizabeth thought it would be a good time. She took her phone out of her pocket and dialed her friend's number.

"Hello?" asked Carly.

"Hey Carly, it's Elizabeth how are you?" Elizabeth asked.

"Hey Liz. It's good to hear from you. I'm good. How are you and Klaine doing?" Carly asked.

"We're both doing good. He's actually taking a nap right now, that's why I thought I would call you."

"Oh, is everything ok?"

"Yeah, yeah everything's fine. I was just thinking about that guy Daniel you told me about a few weeks ago. Do you think he's still interested?" Elizabeth asked.

"Oh, yeah. As far as I know, he's still single. Josh told me that he went with this one cheerleader last weekend and it was a complete disaster." Carly explained and Elizabeth laughed.

"Well, I was wondering do you have his phone number? I was thinking of calling him."

"Oh sure. I think Josh has it. Hang on a sec." said Carly. She put the phone down and went to ask Josh for the phone number.

While waiting, Elizabeth looked at some of her unfinished homework.

"Ok, I got it." said Carly, as she gave her friend the number.

"Thanks Carly. I really appreciate this." replied Elizabeth.

"Hey it's not a problem. And hey if you two do get together you can thank me by going on double date with me and Josh." Carly admitted.

Elizabeth giggled. "Ok yeah. We'll see. Thanks again."

"No problem. Call me sometime tomorrow or next weekend and we could all go to the mall or something."

"Ok, that's sounds fun. Talk to you later. Bye." said Elizabeth and she hung up.

Elizabeth looked down at the phone number she had just written down. Those seven numbers looked like they were about to catch on fire any second. Before she had a chance to dial, she heard crying coming from the next room. She got up from her bed and went into the nursery.

"Hey little man. Did you have a nice nap?" Elizabeth cooed as she leaned over the crib rail to pick up Klaine.

Elizabeth wrinkled her nose as she caught the whiff of a foul smell coming from Klaine's diaper. "I think someone needs a diaper change."

Once Klaine was changed, she took him into her bedroom and lied him on her bed. She was supposed to be doing homework, but she kept getting distracted by all of the cute things her son was doing.

"Hey Elizabeth." said Kurt, as he walked into her room.

Elizabeth looked up. "Oh hi dad."

"What are you doing?" Kurt asked.

"Homework and playing with Klaine. He keeps distracting me with all the cute little noises he's making." Elizabeth confessed.

Kurt came over and sat on the edge of Elizabeth's bed. "I wanted to know if you wanted to go out for a little while. You know just me and you or you and your papa?"

"You mean leave Klaine here?" Elizabeth asked.

Kurt nodded. "Yeah. He'll be fine with one of us here and Lily."

Elizabeth sighed. "I don't know dad. I mean I've been in school all week and all I want to do is be with him."

"I know, but your papa and I both feel that we haven't been spending enough time with you. I mean if you want you can bring Klaine along." Kurt admitted.

"Dad, it's fine. Both my relationship with you and papa are great. You two are the best dads in the whole world." Elizabeth admitted.

"I'm glad. But there is something that we wanted to talk to you about."

"What's that?" Elizabeth asked, worriedly.

"Remember when you asked about your birth mom?" Kurt asked and Lizzie nodded. "Well we thought that you would like to know more about her."

Elizabeth's eyes went wide. "Really?" she asked.

Kurt nodded. "Yes. I mean only if you want to."

Elizabeth gave Kurt a big hug. "Thank you. This really means a lot to me."

Kurt nodded. "I know it does. And you deserve to know as much as possible." he confessed.

"Well, when and where do we start?" Elizabeth asked, as she picked up Klaine.

"Well, we do know a few things about her, but not that much. But there is someone who knows a lot more." Kurt started.

"Who?" Lizzie asked.

"She has a sister and she doesn't live that far. So I was thinking we could either call her or go to her house and talk to her." Kurt continued.

"I'd love to talk to her, but do you think she'll actually talk to us?"

Kurt nodded. "When you were about to be born, she was there and she said that if you had any questions, to come to her. I think she would love to see you and how beautiful you've become. And I'm sure she would love to see Klaine too."

Elizabeth smiled. "Well let's go then."

Elizabeth placed Klaine in his carrier and locked it in the backseat. Kurt got into the driver's seat and Elizabeth got into the passenger's seat. They buckled up and began their drive.

"How far does this lady live?" Elizabeth asked.

"About half an hour away from us." Kurt admitted.

Pretty soon Kurt had pulled up in a driveway. Elizabeth looked out the window and up at the house. It was a pretty nice looking house.

Kurt looked over at Elizabeth. "Are you ready?"

"I don't know. I mean before you told me that my birth mom died, I thought up of the questions I would ask her. Then you told me she didn't make it...now I have a million more questions, but I can't think of any of them right now."

Kurt smiled. "You know, you could change you mind. We don't have to do this. We could turn around right now. We could go get some ice cream instead." he suggested.

Elizabeth nodded. "I think that's a good idea. I don't think I'm ready to talk to this person right now."

Kurt nodded in agreement. He put the car in reverse and started to drive back home.

They stopped at a local ice cream shop to have a an early dessert.

"So how are things going in school?" Kurt asked, as they ate their dessert.

Elizabeth nodded. "Good. I mean I think the classes are a little harder this term, but other than that it's going pretty well. And hopefully by next year I'll be graduating and going to college."

Kurt smiled. "I would love to see you go to college honey. After all that you've been through. Your papa and would be so proud of you."

"I spoke to Carly today." said Elizabeth, quickly changing the subject.

"Yeah. How is she doing?" Kurt asked.

"Pretty good. I asked her for Daniel's phone number. I thought I would give him a call." Elizabeth replied.

"Did you call him?" Kurt asked and Elizabeth shook her head.

"No. Not yet. I was about to, then Klaine woke up crying." Lizzie admitted.

"You know if you want to call him when we get home, I'm sure one of us will be more than happy to watch Klaine for you." Kurt insisted.

Elizabeth smiled. "Thanks dad. I think I'll take you up on that offer."

Kurt and Elizabeth finished their ice cream and left the shop. Once home, Kurt took his grandson into the living room, where Blaine was playing his guitar and Lily was singing along.

Elizabeth went up to her room to call Daniel. She looked down at the number again. She didn't waste any time. She dialed the phone number and it started to ring.

"Hello?" he asked.

"Hi Daniel. This is Elizabeth. Carly and Josh's friend." Elizabeth said calmly.

"Oh yeah. How are you?" Daniel asked.

"I'm good. How are you?" she replied, sitting on her bed.

"Good. So what have Carly and Josh told you about me?"

"Well not much. They said that you just moved here from Chicago or some place like that and that you are on some kind of sports team because you wear a letterman jacket." Elizabeth confessed.

Daniel laughed. "Well that's only partially true."

"What do you mean?"

"It means that yes I did move here and I am on a sports team, but I didn't move here Chicago. I moved here from Colorado." Daniel explained.

"Colorado? That's nice. I've never been there before. My family's originally from Ohio."

"Ohio? I have relatives that live over that way, but we're not that close so we don't see them that often."

"Oh. We'll my grandparents still live there. We were just there for New Year's."

"That's cool. So you know a little bit about me, how about I know a little bit about you?"

"Well, I was born here in New York, I used to go to the same high school as Carly and Josh, but there were some problems there so I transferred last year to an all girls school and I will hopefully be graduating next year." Elizabeth explained.

"That's great. I would love to know more about you. Do you feel comfortable with meeting me at the diner? Say tomorrow? Around noon?"

There was silence over the phone for a few minutes.

"I don't know if I can. I mean it's short notice, but I think I can. I'll have to ask."

"Ok, if you can't make it just text me and we'll reschedule." Daniel replied.

"Ok sounds good. I better get going."

"Ok. See you tomorrow Elizabeth."

"Bye Daniel." she said and they hung up.

Elizabeth walked downstairs and found her dads and sister playing with Klaine.

"Hey guys, what are you doing?" she asked.

Blaine and Kurt looked up at Elizabeth.

"Oh hey honey. We were just enjoying time with our grandson." replied Blaine.

"Well I wanted to know if you guys could watch Klaine tomorrow?" Elizabeth asked.

"Dad said he would take us into the city tomorrow." Lily confessed.

"What are you doing tomorrow?" Blaine asked.

"Well I called Daniel, the one I told you about." she started. Kurt and Blaine nodded for her to continue. "And he asked me out for tomorrow around noon."

"Well I'm sorry honey. We already promised Lily we would take her tomorrow." Blaine confessed.

"Can't one of you stay and the other go?" Elizabeth whined.

"No, they both said they would take me." Lily snapped.

Elizabeth sighed and slumped down on the couch.

"Maybe you can call one of your friends to watch him." Blaine suggested.

"Or maybe you can call Jillian?" Lily piped in.

All three adults glared at the 11 year old.

"What?" Lily asked, looking guilty.

Kurt looked back at Elizabeth. "Actually that sounds like a good idea. Why don't you give her a call? I'm sure she would love to see her grandson."

Elizabeth shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. I mean I know she would love to see him, but I don't know if I'm ready to let her be alone with him. Not just yet."

Blaine and Kurt nodded. Before Elizabeth could say something else, Klaine started to get fussy.

"I think he's hungry." said Lily.

"Why don't you try feeding him the baby formula we bought him the other day?" suggested Kurt.

"I don't know. I mean I have been thinking about switching him to formula, so that way they can feed him at the day care without me missing class, but I'm still not sure yet." Elizabeth explained.

"I understand honey. It's a big decision." replied Kurt.

Elizabeth took Klaine from Blaine's arms and headed upstairs.

Elizabeth bathed and fed Klaine and put him to bed. Before she went to sleep, she still had some homework she needed to finish. While she was working, she got a text. She looked down at her phone to see who it was from.

Hey Elizabeth,

I just wanted to know if you still wanted to me tomorrow?-Daniel

Elizabeth read the message, and then she remembered, she didn't have anyone to watch Klaine. She didn't want Daniel to find out about her being a mom yet. She quickly texted the one person that she thought would be able to help.

Jillian,

I need to ask you a favor. If you can't do it, I totally understand. But I was wondering if you wanted to watch Klaine tomorrow around noon for a little while. Please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks-Liz

After she sent the text message to Jillian, a terrible thought ran threw Elizabeth's mind. What will Jillian think about her going on a date with someone else so quickly? She didn't have time to come up with an answer since she got a reply.

Elizabeth,

I would love to watch him. I miss him. I think he really should get to know his grandma, don't you? Anyways, you can bring him over anytime you need to. See you both soon.-Jillian

Elizabeth smiled. She was glad that Jillian would watch Klaine, but she still had that thought in the back of her mind.

Thanks Jillian-Liz

She quickly wrote another text to Daniel.

Daniel,

Can't wait to see you tomorrow.-Liz

After sending her last text, Elizabeth put away her homework and got ready for bed. After she had brushed her teeth, she looked at her phone. There was a text waiting for her.

Me neither.-Daniel

I hope you have enjoyed this long update. I will try to get more done, but since I am working all next week, we will have to wait and see. Depending on how tired I am, you might have to wait a bit longer. We'll see. Thanks for reading and don't forget to review, follow and favorite. Thanks a bunch.
