Chp 35

Tsuna was startled. Here he was, thinking that he was about to die when all of sudden, five almost familiar, good looking men jumping out of nowhere and helped him out. Although, just from a single glance, he knew these people are the future version of his friends. Just what on earth happened to them during their way coming here? Noticing Tsuna wasn't stirred from his position, Gokudera kneeled down before the teen, feeling worried.

"Juudaime, are you okay?"

Gokudera was taken by surprised when the brunette grabbed both his shoulders and he noticed the insecure expression in his brown eyes.

"Please tell me Hime-chii didn't ended up with any of the guardians in the future…"

Tsuna's worry somehow had thrown Gokudera into a fit of laughter. It made Tsuna uneasy to see Gokudera was laughing at him, but at the same time, he feels glad that the future-Gokudera had opened up to him to this extent.

"My apologies, Juudaime…" said Gokudera, while his laughing slowly subsided. The silver-head adult held Tsuna's right hand and took it off from clamping his shoulder even harder. Then, he help the brunette back on his feet.

"Honestly Juudaime, it was not us the guardians that you should worried about. Just a heads up though…" Gokudera almost burst into laughing when Tsuna was paying attention to him like a kid.

"… the one who ended up with Bakahime would be the one that you wouldn't expect the most…" his riddle made the brunette punch him in the arm, not really hard though.

"You're killing me with all the curiosity, Gokudera-kun! Who was it?! Dino-san? Xanxus? Basil-kun? Who? JUST WHO?!" Tsuna, somewhat, couldn't hide his interest anymore that he started to list down the name of males that he know of.

"I'm sorry, Juudaime. The less you know about the future, the better…" once again, his eyes scanning Tsuna's body for injury. His face contorted to displease when he saw the painful cuts and bruises.

"Turf-top, heal Juudaime!" surprisingly, Ryohei didn't argue or complained that Gokudera of being bossy. Instead, he quickly switched place with the storm and starting to do his role as sun flame user.

"Hmph! As if you idiots could defeat me!" said adult-Tsuna mockingly. Gokudera, for being mature, ignored the opponent's stupid remarks.

"So, what's next, Hayato?" Yamamoto whispered his query to his comrade. Gokudera looked at his cousin at the corner of his eyes.

Understanding Gokudera's silent query, Lambo replied.

"three more minutes…"

Gokudera looked back at the enemy before giving out his next order.

"defeat him under that time span. CHARGE!" the four instantly charged towards the enemy.

The enemy had an urge to laugh. As if these people have what it takes to take him out? In their deepest dream.

"Bring it on! I killed you before, I could kill you again!" with a clenched fist, the adult-Tsuna charged at the four again.

Adult-Ryohei lifted his chin up from Tsuna's arm when he noticed his arm muscle tensed and he saw the expression that he never saw on his boss's face before: sadness. He literally saw the younger version of his boss crying and the Sun guardian knew the teen had overheard what the other person had said.

"N-not only he killed his sister, he killed his guardians too?" that man that was fighting against his friend, is a mafia boss. THE mafia boss of the Vongola, the same title that he will be holding in a future that was not too distant from now. Why he had to be so evil? He can't believe they are the same counterpart from the different universe. Tsuna had been introduced to a new fear. Will he ended up like him then? Will he?

"Tsuna…" the brunette was snapped out from his daze. He turned his head to face the grownup Sun guardian. "I extremely know what you're extremely thinking. You are extreme-extremely different than him. You're the extreme Sawada Tsunayoshi, the extremely best leader we could ever have and yes, Kyoya and Mukuro shared the extremely same opinion as well…"

The older twin lowered his head, thinking. If Ryohei acted towards him like this, then is it possible that they had actually won this fight in their past? But how did they do that? Did he ended up killing him? Tsuna quickly shook off the thought from his mind. He promised himself that he will never fight for the sake of taking someone's life, so he was in so much denial right now.

"what will happen next, Onii-san?"

Ryohei suddenly grabbed Tsuna's shoulders, forcing his attention on him.

"Listen here, Tsuna! I cannot extremely tell you what will happen next. Doing that and it may cause extreme time parasol. All we need from you now is to win this extreme fight. Extremely win the fight and the future of our family will stay on its track. We're all extremely happy there, Tsuna so please… give out your best! Just extremely do it!"

Tsuna stared at the older man in disbelief. Did he just gave an advice to him? Tsuna smiled. This just shown how much the Sun guardian had grown up.

'But wait… time parasol? Does he mean 'time paradox'?' the brunette raised his left eyebrow. And did the boxer just quoted Nike? From Ryohei's encouraging touch, Tsuna somehow felt another strength seeped through him. His amber eyes shifted back to the fight. Somehow, it was still not a good news for Tsuna to see the four adults to be on an equal ground against their opponent. If it was one versus one, Tsuna might could have let out a sigh of relieve, but for four of them, working so hard to land a hit on him, it just proved how strong PU-Tsuna is. His fists ignited with his wrath flame and with a single punch on the ground, the impact from the explosion created crater on the surface and thrown the other four, ten feet away, simultaneously.

"Damn it! I should've never say no when Juudaime asked me to spar with him!" Gokudera lifted his body up with difficulty. Even without direct contact from the psycho, he could still feel the pain as if he was literally got punched.

"I sparred with Tsunayoshi-kun once in a while, Puppy, but I can tell you, he was not this crazy…" Mukuro retorted. He paused for a second.

"let me rephrase that… our Sawada Tsunayoshi is actually crazier" he totally forgot how crazy future-Tsuna could become. Courtesy of a certain hitman' tutoring that is.

"Ahahaha… what do you expect? Our Tsuna is the pure-sky flame user, not destructive wrath flame. He's different than our boss…" Yamamoto scratched his head.

"Iteee!" the youngest guardian didn't say anything, other than groaning.

The four were exchanging look with each other, trying to figure out what they should do next. Clearly, single attack by each and one of them was not working, they noticed that.

"I can't believe I'm the one who suggesting this…" the other paid their attention to Mukuro. "Let's do combo attack…"

"for the first time, I'm not going to argue with that!" Gokudera instantly agreed. He accepted Yamamoto's hand and he helped him stand up.

The PU-Tsuna could see the four Vongola lined up, their respective flames emitted brightly from their rings.

'Combo attack, huh?' adult-Tsuna didn't know if he should be worried, but was actually interested to know what it was about.

"Open box!" they yelled simultaneously, calling out their partners and they fused into their respective weapons.

Tsuna could see the sun guardian was actually fired up to join his comrades, yet Gokudera's command of taking care Tsuna restricted him from doing so.

"Are you okay, Nii-san?"

The sun guardian just smiled brightly at him, knowing that mixture of worry and guilty on the teen's face too well. Tsuna from this time and Tsuna from his time, they are still the same person and Ryohei happily embracing the fact.

"Sure, I would extremely enjoying the fight if I could join in, Tsuna. But, your safety is my priority right now…" it just amazed Tsuna how the usually noisy, impulsive boxer was now capable of obeying his given order.

His eyes shifted back to the fight. Somehow, Tsuna could sense the uneasiness from the enemy's eyes and he was right apparently.

Adult-Tsuna was astonished with what he was seeing right now. Some colourful animals, fusing with the guardians' weapons, he had never seen such things before. Not even from his universe. He really had a bad feelings about this. He wondered what will happen if he got hit by their so-called 'combo attack' and he don't want to found out. The essence of winning a fight is to focus on the opponent's weakness. He have to think of the way of diverting the guardians' attention from him. His sharp ears somehow managed to catch the conversation between Ryohei and the teen-Tsuna and an idea popped into his mind.

"LET'S GO!" Gokudera's loud battle cry shifted the PU-Tsuna's attention back to them. He could see the guardians' weapons were aimed at him. They were charging towards him in a fast rate. Is it going to be a close-range combat? He was proven wrong when the guardians simultaneously activated their weapons and the box animals were charging at him in full speed instead.

'So, it was double attack, huh?' the adult-Tsuna could assume that the box animals might be able to paralyze his movement, giving the owners to land their actual combo attack on him. He actually somehow expecting this. His previous 'guardians' and this universe's guardians are no different apparently. He quickly focused his wrath flame on his palm, making sure that it was even more concentrated than before. Before the box animals could even reach him, he fired.

There was freeze moment for few millisecond as everyone gathering their thought. The PU-Tsuna wasn't even bother trying to finish off the box animals, instead, his flame was aimed straight to startled young Sawada Tsunayoshi.

"JUUDAIME!"

Just like how the enemy predicted, the guardians changed their course and ran towards Tsuna instead, standing in strategic formation to protect him from any harm.

Ryohei stood up, following his comrades' lead. His hand was stretched, shielding Tsuna from any possible harm. Instead of aiming for the enemy, the concerned box-animals making a detour, returning to their partners' sides, protecting them from the incoming hit.

'BOOM!' The explosion was synchronising with their bitter screaming. Before Tsuna could do anything, all of sudden, he was engulfed with pink, puffy smokes everywhere. Tsuna was both glad, yet worry for the well-being of the future-guardians. But deep inside his heart, he knew, they will make it through the explosion.

The pink smoke cleared out and the disbelieve looks on the newcomer teenagers' respective faces were visible to everyone. The teens were wearing the same expression; eyes widen and mouth gaping.

"I had acquired information that I should not know of… should've not known that. Should've not known that…" Gokudera muttered.

Yamamoto was fidgeting nervously. "I'm curious. Damn, I'm just curious. I'm too curious that I think I just gonna die out of curiosity!"

"Cannot unseen that. DEFINITELY CANNOT UNSEEN THAT!" Lambo yelled all of sudden.

Mukuro still crouching down with his face buried between his knees. From his aura alone, they knew he was definitely upset.

"My heart just got broken into pieces, now knowing I would never have a chance. I'm going to start from now to forget about her…"

"SAWADA EXTREMELY SHOULD NEVER KNOW ABOUT THIS! WE HAVE EXTREMELY BEEN WARNED!"

Tsuna looked up, meeting Ryohei's startled face.

"I should never know about what… Onii-san?" from the pink smoke, Tsuna instantly knew that his friends just returned from the future. Curiosity peaked inside him when he saw such similar reactions among his friends as well. Just what did they saw in the future world? The boss noticed then, when the five guardians were looking at him, looking either terrified or anxious from hearing his query just now… Tsuna just couldn't decide which one was it.

"and also, why did you guys got transported to the future at the worst possible times?"

The other five fell into silence, communicating only with their eyes. Just like that person had warned them, no one should know about the future and Tsuna was not an exception too.

"Maa… maa…" Yamamoto paused, trying to spit out the 'right' way to say it.

"L-let's n-not talk about this at all, nee J-Juudaime?" Gokudera, too, tried to reasoning with the brunette as he knew, his boss wouldn't like it anyway if he told the truth.

"Why not, Gokudera-kun?" Tsuna's voice blended well with their heated surroundings.

"B-Because it was the future-you who extremely warned us extremely not to reveal anything to the current-you, Sawada!" Ryohei was feeling nervous and suffocated as hell with the brunette glaring dagger at them.

Reborn and the Millefiore were standing at the other side of the battle field, silently while observing the youngsters. He resisted the urge to face palm. These kids are definitely getting distracted way too easily.

"Are you sure we should stand here and watching?" Aria looked at the teenagers in concern.

"We should respect the Vongola's order, Aria. Other than that, I'm really interested to know how they will handle this matter" Byakuran replied. The young Vongola Decimo still have too many hidden potential and he wanted to see more of him.

Getting ignore by his opponents had given him another chance to do another attack and once more, the magma-like flame concentrating in his palm, creating a huge fireball. Without any notice, he aimed it towards the distracted-teenagers. Somehow, it was only the young Decimo who noticed this. In his panic, he ran towards the fireball, standing between it and his friends hoping that he was more than enough to protect his friends from the incoming harm.

Damn, Tsuna was really scared right now.

The air becomes thicker all of sudden and two black portals appeared out of the thin air. One right behind the petrified Decimo and another one was right behind the raging-adult. Everything was happening too fast for Tsuna's brain to process. What he knew was, he was about to get hit when all of sudden, he got pulled back by someone and the next thing he knew, he was back, standing among his fellow guardians. After that, he saw both Gokudera and Yamamoto turned around, facing him with gaping mouth.

"Juudaime!/Tsuna!/Sawada!/Tsunayoshi-kun!" everyone chorused when they saw him, glomping on him by instinct.

'Buk! Buk! Buk! Buk! Buk!' "OWWWWW!"

The five guardians yelled in pain when the sensation of the blunt force finally registered into their brain. On the left side of the group, there standing a certain annoyed-prefect.

"You're noisy, herbivores…" he said in grim-tone, clearly displeased with their over reactions.

Mukuro looked at the other two with wide eyes before throwing his arms on both of them and pulling them into a tight hug, surprisingly didn't even give the prefect a chance to get away.

"Chrome, Kyoya… I'm glad you're alive…"

"Mukuro-sama~/Get off me you, pineapple-herbivore!" the girl returned his hug, while the other one tried to get rid of him.

The adult-Tsuna was getting annoyed when his presence was neglected at the sidelines, although he was wondering where the black portals came from? The black portals were always equivalent to the appearance of the Vendice, but by far, none of the officers were sighted. But to see both teenagers that was supposed to be turned by dust were standing there and alive, he got a feeling something will make table be turned around soon, but what was that 'something' supposed to be? Getting preoccupied with his thought, he only realized the incoming fireball towards him too late.

'BOOM!'

Adult-Tsuna was thrown away few feet from his initial position. Who dares to do sneak attack on him?!

"Arghh!" the adult grunted. He hissed when the dirt contaminate his burned left arm. His sight adjusted to his surroundings as soon as the brightness from the burning ground due to the explosion priory, gone. There, right before his eyes, the Midnight Assassin was standing tall, with one of her sun flame glowing-guns extended towards him.

"Okaa-san?" there was a confusion look on the adult's face. He couldn't believe his eyes. He couldn't believe she could hurt him. He just couldn't believe it when he saw the woman that he thought just a normal housewife, was wielding the high purity of sun flame and threatening his life with it.

The twins' mother looked around, seeing her injured-son's startled face. The painful look on the blonde-that-she-never-seen-her-whole-life-but-let's-assumed-that-he's-an ally's face. The face of a terrified young girl, who was not supposed to witness any of these fights. Those sights itself was enough to make her blood boiling.

"You hurt my friends, you hurt Vongola's allies and worst, you hurt my son. MY SON! I don't care about Vongola personally, but I would never tolerate to whoever are trying to hurt my family. If you want to kill my son, you have to walk over my dead body first, you little shit!" with her words, the mother had declared the war between the Vongola and the enemy.

Slowly, the adult get back on his feet, with his eyes hidden behind his long, messy bangs.

"I don't care if you're Okaa-san. I'll kill you if you get in my way…" he warned her in acidic voice.

"I don't remember of giving birth to useless-fucker like you" Nana replied in the same tone as his as well. His death threat somehow just didn't reacted towards her.

"Okaa-san?! What in the world are you doing?!" Tsuna's loud query made the adult realized of his existence once again.

The rabid-brunette raised his hand towards the older twin, his palm ignited with magma-like wrath flame. In a split second, he shoot his flame towards the teenagers but he was taken aback when his flame was intercepted with the same strong Sun flame. First, it was the older twin whom had managed to do that, and now, it was the mother. Another explosions occurred when both flames are collided. Their eyes met once more. Never would he thought that that motherly-woman will be looking at him with that furious eyes, with intention of wiping him off of this planet.

"Your opponent is me…"

Without any second wasted, another battle ensues.

Meanwhile, among the Vongola teens.

"Now I know where you sister got her attitude, Dame-Tsuna. Your mother just effortlessly making herself sound so badass while you have to think which words you want to spit out. Try to become like your mother for once…" Reborn complained. Well, on the second thought, Tsuna always think before he said something, while Tsukiko did not bother to think at all, which maybe one of contributing factors of why the younger twin always act stupidly.

"Reborn, don't start with me!" Tsuna glared at his tutor angrily. Despite of being close to his twin, Tsuna actually disliked it when someone compared them. To him, both Tsuna and Tsukiko have their own equal parts of good and bad. No one need to rub their differences to their faces. And also, his mother is his mother. Tsukiko is Tsukiko. There was nothing similar about them. Seeing the tutor just shrugged him off, Tsuna faced both Hibari and Chrome, his eyes urging them to do some explanation right now.

Both Hibari and Chrome was exchanging look with Hibari then look away after five second of intense staring, indicating that he was too lazy to explain anything. Understand with the skylark's gesture, everyone's eyes downed on Chrome.

"Well, actually…"

*Flashback*

"YOU BETRAYED ME!"

Chorme noticed the terrified look on her childhood friend's face. She knew Tsukiko might thought that she was going to die. Little that she knows, Chrome had already summoned her trident and a thick, steel barrier materialized before them. Knowing what she was doing, Haruka instantly stretched his right hand to the barrier and strengthened the illusionary wall with his lightning flame's hardening properties.

At the same time, a black portal appeared just right behind the group and cuff chains flew out from the said black hole and pulled everyone inside, just millisecond before the sky flame managed to penetrate the illusionary barrier and hit the hospital wall.

The younger twin kneeled to ground when the metal cuff was detached from her limbs and panted heavily. That was the closest moment she ever been to the death. She looked to her left to see Chrome was holding her trident as if her life depended on it. She looked around and she noticed Haruka, Hideki, Hibari, Chrome… her; everyone, was here, safe and sound.

Then, the sound of chains clanging attracted her attention and right before them, she saw the fearful Vendice looking straight at them.

"I see everyone is safe…" the short guy initiated the conversation.

There was cautious expression on both Haruka's and Hideki's face as they took a step forward, shielding the Vongola teens from the Vendice's judging eyes. Although they might not look like it, but they were ready to counter any attack that might be launch at them anytime soon.

"Calm down, Haruka... Hideki…" a familiar voice addressed them casually. A brunette stepped forward, standing in between the Vendice and former SMI-members.

"they mean no harm… I can assure you that…" she said in assuring tone.

"Nana-san?!/Okaa-san?!" they was definitely surprised with the brunette's sudden appearance.

Tsukiko shook her head in disbelief. Why her mother would be here when she was supposed to be on her assignment, somewhere in Europe? That was the reason why she left hurriedly during lunch, right? Tsukiko know she just had to ask and she did.

Nana flashed a small smile, looking at her daughter apologetically.

"I'm sorry I have to lie, Hime-chii. But I need answers for my questions, knowing that he is assisting with the monitoring of the world's balance, I decided to meet up with my cousin"

"Here?" Tsukiko pointed her finger to the ground while her eyes were looking around. "In a dark place which only lighted by a single, small light bulb? What kind of cousin you have, Okaa-san? Someone with photoallergy or something?!"

"I don't have any allergy, for your information, Sawada Tsukiko" Jagger interrupt while taking his place next to Nana.

Tsukiko gaped at the sight.

"Don't tell me that your cousin is part of Vendice, Okaa-san?" Tsukiko was actually expecting that her mother would just nodded and she did, yet she still couldn't contained the surprise-feeling that she had upon receiving that new piece of information.

And here she was, thinking that she knew everything about her parents' background, but apparently there was some that was still hidden from her. The female-twin scratched her head while sighing exasperatedly. She really have a really 'unique' family tree connections with such unexpected people. What's next? Having a relative who could see ghost? Wait, aren't she and her brother were the one who could see ghosts?

"Well, Jagger did contacted me asking if there was something wrong with the new holders of Trinesette since the balance was tilted a bit and it getting worse day by day. Since he already aware that there was nothing wrong with the holders of both Mare and Pacifiers, that's only left them with Vongola. I decided not to tell him anything until I reached him in fear that the Vendice might do anything drastic…"

"Like taking out any of the two Tsunayoshi without taking account that one of them is your son, I assume, Nana-san?" Haruka asked curiously and Nana nodded once more.

Tsuki shrugged at her mother's explanation.

"now I was just wondering how the hell the timing when you guys saved us was so freaking accurate, Kaa-san? I swear, it was about time that all of us died in the blast few minutes ago…"

Nana just giggled at it.

"Maa, maa… let's just call it 'motherly-instinct', Hime-chii~"

Jagger instantly snorted when he heard Nana's reasoning.

"Motherly-instinct, my ass. As if you could call your 'coincidence-streak of luck hunches' as that…"

"Well, I don't need to be the sky arcobaleno to be able to predict something that could be calculated mathematically, you ass!" said Nana angrily, while nonchalantly kicking her cousin's ribs.

"Well, not everyone could predict the event sequences mathematically, you bitch!" Jagger retorted back.

"call me 'bitch' again and I'll back hand you in the face, Jackass!" the former assassin threatened the Vendice officer.

Now Chrome knew where Tsukiko get her foul language from.

Ignoring the bickering cousins, Bermuda approached the youngsters.

"let's ignore the idiots for a while, shall we?" he suggested and the rest just obliged.

"Now, do you mind to tell me what's going on now?"

*End of Flashback*

"H-hold on for a sec… you mean Okaa-san's cousin is Jagger? The right hand man of the most terrifying organization in this world- Jagger?" Tsuna asked in disbelief. What else that he didn't know about his mother. He thought he knew everything, and judging of the look on Reborn's face, Tsuna knew the hitman know nothing about this as well.

"believe me, we were as surprised as you do. and that's includes Haruka-ojiisan as well as Dad…" Chrome added.

"You got that right…" both Haruka and Hideki voiced out their agreement simultaneously.

Once again, Tsuna looked around for someone. too bad, he didn't see her anywhere and this made him even more frustrated.

"you said everyone is safe, Chrome. But, apart from of all of you, where the hell is my sister?!"

"As for Hime-chan…" Chrome took another paused. Her eyes wandered to the other two SMI members, silently begging them to explain.

"That's another thing…" Haruka decided to take over the explanation. Oh how he hoped Tsuna would understand the actual intention of their action.

"actually, we had received text from Aria and she sort of summarized everything to us about the stuff you guys had encountered during your travel. Nana-san just don't like what she heard and decided that it was not a good idea for Hime-chan to come along…"

"That… and Nana was actually quite aware of Tsuki's idiotic tendencies. Although, in my opinion, Nana just did what your sister might do…" Hideki shrugged and scoffed skeptically. It was just SO Nana to jump into the fight that was not supposed to be hers in the first place. Some bad habits of her just wouldn't die. He just couldn't believe that woman was the one who lead their generation long time ago. "Like mother, like daughter… just pair of reckless people"

"so, you just ditched her with the most dangerous mafia on this planet?!" Tsuna gawked at the two adults. Those people are the Vendice. THE Vendice. They are feared for a reason. And since they are all aware of Tsukiko's crazy, reckless attitude, why they hell did they leave her with them? What if she offended them because of something?

"Don't worry about that. Jagger is taking care of her. Who knows, she might be playing poker with the Vendice right now as we speak…" Haruka tried to be as optimistic as possible.

"Hime-chii is fucking excellent in Poker! How would the Vendice react if she beat them?!" Tsuna started to freak out. It was true after all. The older twin knew that his sister very well that she didn't plainly "just" playing when it comes to poker. She's really good with her math and when she applied them in poker, she's unbeatable.

The two ex-SMIs were exchanging look, both were trying to visualize the possible consequences if things that Tsuna said become true. All and all, their visualization was not pretty at all.

'Well… damn!'

Tsuna sighed once more when he saw the expression on both former SMI members' face. At least now he know his sister is somewhere on this planet and safe.

The adult narrowed his eyes when he saw the twins' mother stood back on her feet, wiping the excess blood off from her chin.

"We should stop this, Okaa-san. I don't want to hurt you…"

"It's all too late, isn't it? You were the one who were trying to kill my baby-boy after all…" Nana brushed him off. She really hates this guy despite of his look almost resembled his son. Damn it, her son's and Primo's good look was tarnished by this asshole.

"and not to mention that it is in my job description to keep both of my babies safe…"

The adult does not know if it was just his imagination, but he saw her flame was igniting brighter and brighter. Once again, her semi-auto gun was stretched towards him, ready to be fired.

'Heh, so she's planning to use the same attack as before. You really needed to start getting creative, Kaa-san' He smirked as he figured out the way to get around this situation. He knew he just need to stop the woman from firing his gun. Also, from their hand to hand combat just now, the adult-Tsuna immediately knew that she's only specialized in long-range fighting.

He noticed that Nana have few habits before pulling her trigger. First, she would aimed her gun towards her opponent to intimidate them. After it worked, step number two. She would inhaled deeply while focusing on her target and at the same time, that action will relaxed her nerves. Lastly, she will shut her eyes for exactly three seconds before she shoots. Only three seconds and he only have one chance on this. When he saw Nana was doing her third steps, he quickened his feet, running towards the woman with his fist clenched hard.

Nana was thrown few feet away. She coughed out more blood, her body's way of telling that she couldn't handle the weight of the flaming-punch. The former assassin glared at her opponent and knew, he was no longer playing around. Her intimidation was no longer taking effect on him and he will surely use whatever power he has to take her down, possibly killing her. From her expression, the regret for neglecting her training was truly obvious. She was supposed to be the world's former best hitwoman and now, she could hardly land a hit on her enemy. She tried to figure out what her actual problem was. Was it because she was getting weaker or she couldn't help but to thinking this is her fight against her son, Nana still couldn't tell. Slowly, she get back on her feet, from her wobbly movement everyone could tell that she already feel unwell. The midnight assassin started to see double and she knew her blood was running low. She look the Vongola group and saw her son's concern look, making her smile. She just have to protect him, right? Even if she have to die, she will protect her baby. Once more, determination are welling up inside her.

The psycho-Tsuna could see the brunette-lady was stretching her gun towards him again. She was getting weaker, he knew it. But the pathetic situation made him smile. The moment he knew Nana was about to pulled the trigger, once more, he charged towards her in full speed. It was happening too fast for even Nana to react to.

"Okaa-san!" Tsuna's loud voice was a clear indication that the situation had taken its worst turn.

"You're too slow, Kaa-san…" he whispered it too startled-Nana's ear before he landed another sharp punch to Nana's stomach, effectively damaging her internal. The mother gone limp in her enemy's arm. She could feel his arms was locking her neck and she knew, with a single yank, her life will be detached from her body too. Somehow, it weirded her that it took him too long to finish her. She could feel the air around her become denser, making her curious with the sudden silence in her surroundings. She opened her eyes and noticed that their shadows had disappeared from the ground. Small smile bloomed on her face. Now it is all up to them, huh?

yeap, that's it for now. I'm still working on the next chapter right now so wish me luck. and also, I know this is kind of turning off-moment as a reader, but please do review this story, okay?

that all. love you all and see you soon. ciao~ ciao~
