Ayame was a bit groggy as she tried to sit up, though Mizuki stopped her, "Slow down, you're no superhero."

Ayame allowed herself to be lowered back down, "What's happening?"

"We're losing," Mizuki looked off toward a loud commotion, "Mewtwo has super clones of Venusaur, Blastoise and Charizard, and they each have taken out their respective originals, well at least not Charizard, yet," having little confidence seeing the clones take out each Pokémon with a single move.

Ekans was worried about Ayame, having coiled next to her as Pawniard was as vigilant as ever. Shedinja's halo though has been gathering energy, slowing strengthening its glow, and Beedrill was higher than Shedinja, waiting for something.

Servine was still at Taiichi's side, unwilling to leave him, though the fighting was becoming something of a concern as Mewtwo had shown no mercy thus far, and he's been unstoppable at ever endeavor he sought out. Ayame picked herself up now just as the clone slammed Ash's Charizard to the ground. Charizard managed to picked himself up to roar in defiance, but this was short lived as Charizard collapsed and Ash running to his side, "No, Charizard, no! Are you okay?"

'As the victor, I now claim my prize: Your Pokémon.' Mewtwo raised his hands before spreading them out as three purple balls of energy appeared around him and solidified into black Poké Balls with an eye-like design in the middle, the red button isolated in the middle of a yellow background with the eye shape. The three strange Poké Balls flew off at Mewtwo's command as each one targeted Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur.

"Hey! Wait!" Ash tried to grab it, but it flew away before he could catch it. Even though Charizard had his own Poké Ball, this Poké Ball Mewtwo teleported was still capable of capturing him. The same happened to Neesha and Corey as they watched the strange Poké Balls take Shellshocker and Bruteroot away before they could grab them.

"What will you do with those Pokémon?!"

'I will extract their DNA to make clones for myself.' Mewtwo preformed the same teleportation again, but this time summoning hundreds, if not thousands, of those strange Poké Balls, 'They will remain safe on this island with me while my storm destroys the planet.'

"You can't do this!"

"Yeah, Mewtwo! We won't let ya!"

'Do not attempt to defy me.' Mewtwo then grabbed Ash, tossing him back to Brock and knocking them to the ground. 'This is my world now,' sending them all to capture the Pokémon in the other room.

"Let's go!"

"Shedinja!" Shedinja's halo was at its brightest now as it was vertically aligned with Shedinja and aimed at the horde of Poké Balls, firing a white beam across many of them, destroying them without harming the humans. Mewtwo seemed to have an unlimited supply of these Poké Balls as more continued to fly into the dining hall. With no time to charge another Solar Beam, Shedinja was soon surrounded by several blue flames that continued to encircle Shedinja. Though it wasn't alone, Beedrill threw herself between the oncoming waves of Poké Balls firing an assortment of Poison Sting needles at them to defend Shedinja.

Shedinja did not want Beedrill to be up here, it wanted Beedrill to be with the others, reducing the likelihood that she would be captured. Beedrill disregarded Shedinja's remarks, referring to Ayame as the hive queen, and how the hive queen would be lost without it. Ayame however was not going to stand idle herself, revealing several throwing stars and kunai in hand, she started to disable as many of Mewtwo's Poké Balls as she could.

Servine though already had herself and her friends formed into defense circles in preparation for this after seeing Charizard being captured. In the outer circle, Servine, Lombre, Pawniard and Scar were acting as the first line of defense while Wartortle, Charmeleon, Marshtomp, Kirlia and Ekans covered them with ranged attacks in the middle leaving Kangaskhan, Druddigon, Riolu, Mawile and Purrloin to defend the second group at the center.

Arthur whistled to his team as they joined Servine's group, Air Raid with the back rank as Midnight, Oceanstar and Dawnlight helped the fire team and Cynder and Amber helping the front line.

Servine was using her vines to bat the balls away as Scar, Pawniard, Amber and Cynder destroyed the balls in their reach and Lombre was dancing around, easily avoiding their attempts to hit him. The ranged team wasn't letting any of the balls past the first line as a combination of water, fire and psychic attacks and Ekans' acid shower made sure of that.

Even though this group of Pokémon were able to defend themselves many of the others were not as fortunate. Once many of the Pokémon were captured, two pillars started to rise up to reveal holes were the Poké Balls with Pokémon flew down to store them.

Ash though thought of something rather clever, "Hey, I know. Mewtwo can't capture them if they're inside their Poké Balls." Ash grabbed two of his, "Bulbasaur, Squirtle, return!" The duo were back to back, defending each other before Ash recalled them, just in time as five of Mewtwo's unique Poké Balls missed.

'It's no use.' Two of the Poké Balls looked to the ones in Ash's hands, tapping them and capturing the pair as if they were Pokémon. 'It's futile to try and escape my power.'

"Never mind the Poké Balls. Carry 'em away!" Misty put Togepi into her bag as she, Psyduck, Brock, carrying Vulpix, and Nurse Joy ran.

Unfortunately for Psyduck one of them did eventually captured him. "Give back my Psyduck!"

Misty's yelling had Brock pause, long enough for one of Mewtwo's Poké Balls to find Vulpix, "Vulpix!"

Shedinja's Will-O-Wisp defense was holding, though it was forced to create more with every successful block. Shedinja tried to use seniority over Beedrill to get her to return to the others, to which she defiantly stayed in the air, using all three of her stingers to stay safe. Though Beedrill managed to hold them off this long, one of them suck up from behind her and captured her. Shedinja used it shadow, grabbing a hold of the ball with Beedrill and holding it in place. The energy Shedinja was using to contain that ball was the most it has used for some time now as the Will-O-Wisp barrier was starting to lose its flames. Soon Shedinja's Will-O-Wisps were all expended and Shedinja was not fast enough to avoid capture.

Now all that was left were Pikachu and this team of twenty that was protecting each other. Ayame was running after the two Poké Balls with Beedrill and Shedinja, throwing a multitude of ropes and wires to grab them. However Mewtwo used the many empty ones to block her attempts to give the Poké Balls time to escape. Ayame looked back to the group as they continued to defend themselves, but these Poké Balls just seemed limitless and the Pokémon could only keep this up for so long. She turned to the other trainers, and noticing they stopped trying to go after Togepi once the infant was hidden in Misty's bag. "Mizuki, the bags!" Ayame cried out, pulling out more kunai, destroying a group of balls that was flying toward the group. "Get the Pokémon into their balls, and into the bags! They can't be captured in there!"

She quickly got out hers and grabbed the ones from Taiichi's pack as she had her bag on the ground in the center of the group. "We won't let them catch you guys. Just hold on for a bit longer."

Arthur also followed this plan, ready to recall Air Raid, "So, back ranks first then work our way up and hope we can recall the front?"

"Something like that." Ayame tossed Ekans and Pawniard's Poké Balls as she continued to provide some relief. Mizuki recalled Purrloin and Riolu first, followed by Kangaskhan and Mawile. Finally Druddigon and Air Raid were recalled, though this also seemed to have the strange Poké Balls focused more on the others now with fewer targets in sight. "This is where things get a bit more difficult."

Arthur got Midnight and Oceanstar back first as Mizuki called back Ekans and Charmeleon, quickly putting the balls into the bags. As Mizuki handed Marshtomp's Poké Ball to Arthur, Lombre was capture due to a misstep. Kirlia was not going to let Mewtwo have him, "KIR!" With every ounce of power she had, Kirlia grabbed that Poké Ball, holding on to it and forgetting everything else around her. "KIRLIA!"

Amber tried to help in Kirlia's endeavor, jumping into the mass of Poké Balls still flying to grab hold of the one with Lombre inside. "Be careful!" Arthur's words cried out, though this Blaziken wasn't thinking of that. She tried to throw the ball to the others, but Kirlia was too emotional that she wasn't letting it move at all. "Amber, behind you!"

Cynder rushed out, slicing the ball about to capture her. However the Zoroark wasn't paying attention to the two right behind her. Amber returned the favor, smashing the two with a dual Thunder Punch. The two of them in sync with the other's moves as they protected the other. Arthur scrambled for their balls, but it was too late as the duo was eventually caught.

Arthur was devastated seeing the two of them gone. Though instead of despair, anger quickly found its place as a strange blue aura started to flare around him. "You! Give Amber and Cynder back now or I'll rip you apart! NO ONE HARMS MY FAMILY!"

Mizuki could understand his feelings, but right now she needed his help. "Arthur, snap out of it! I'm sorry he took them, but we'll find a way to get them back. You still have Dawnlight to worry about right?" that seemed to have gotten his attention. "So please, help me save the others. Then we'll try to help them."

"Fine, but don't think he'll leave unscathed."

With these new opening in their defenses, Pawniard was capture covering for Scar. Mizuki grabbed Marshtomp and Wartortle's Poké Balls, "Next pair. Quickly!"

Wartortle however was concerned about Kirlia, as she was completely intent on not letting it go. In truth, he had never seen her so enraged before. Wartortle was about to follow Mizuki's order, but he saw three of them aimed at Kirlia. Even though Dawnlight stop them, there was another four behind them still aimed at Kirlia. Wartortle moved to protect Kirlia, freezing them in a block of ice. Wartortle pounded his chest, proud he could defend his friend, though he wasn't paying attention to one that used the frozen group to get closer, capturing him.

Kirlia saw Wartortle's sacrifice for her, and her grip on Lombre's Poké Ball was gone in an instant. Kirlia collapsed to her knees, now upset that it was her fault that Wartortle was gone, to protect her. "Kirlia, come on, don't let Wartortle's act mean nothing." She recalled her and Marshtomp now as Dawnlight remained to help with her psychic abilities.

"Just three more. Let hurry." Now it was a sea of those Poké Balls, and with how if one of Mewtwo's special Poké Balls could get into the packs, it might create a hole for the others. Servine knew what was needed. She rushed out on her own, weaving and stopping as she lured many of them away. "Servine, what are you doing?!"

"She's…"

"NO!"

Mizuki recalled Scar as Arthur got Dawnlight back. Ayame saw Servine, giving her a bit more time now, but even she couldn't help her now. Servine then created a Leaf Tornado, damaging a few more before getting her vines out to smash more of them. Taiichi was starting to wake from his daze himself to see Servine alone, drawing the Poké Balls to her.

"Servine!" She turned to him after hearing his voice, smiling to see him up and about once more. This brief moment was all Mewtwo's Poké Balls needed as one finally captured her. "NO! Servine!" Taiichi pushed his body to get up and ran after it. The two pillars were now slowly closing up, but Taiichi wasn't going to leave her to this fate. "I'm coming for you!" he slide down the tunnel just as Ash followed after another one in the adjacent tunnel.

"Tai…" Mizuki was worried where that hole lead, or if he'll even be safe.

Arthur punched his fist into his palm, "I should have thought of that myself."

Ayame started to recover what tools were still salvageable, "Let us just hope for their safety, and worry about what is to come from Mewtwo's plans."

Taiichi tunnel eventually merged with the one Ash was in and the two bumped into one another. Eventually they rolled onto a conveyer belt that was moving the captured Pokémon. Ash and Taiichi took a rather nasty spill onto the conveyer belt, and a woman's voice rang in their ears, "Look there!"

Ash was the first one to get back onto his feet, as he ran toward one of the last Poké Ball on the line, "I don't have time for your dumb motto today."

Taiichi was still reeling from the mental backlash, forcing himself to roll off the conveyer belt instead of pursuing Servine like he wanted. As he recovered he saw the means Mewtwo planned to use to clone the Pokémon, a massive black machine that the conveyer belt feed into that also had a spiral shell-like section with a red core at the center and a small terminal just below the core. And attached to a sphere on the top of the device fed out a large green tube and where the cloned Pokémon, in the fetal position, were divided to several other tubes with a strange black base.

Taiichi then saw two people next to the end of the belt, and they both had the large red R on their white shirts. Before he could complain about the two being members of Team Rocket, a projected screen coming from the machine itself had a rather familiar silhouette appear as the two looked on, "Who's that Pokémon? It's Pikachu!" The projection though was starting to flicker for a moment before it completely disappeared as an alarm started to ring out. Taiichi could only assume it was Ash's doing.

A Meowth walking like a human ran up as he spoke in the human language, "What's happenin'?"

"A talking Meowth?" Before they even said anything more on the subject, the conveyer belt stopped as sparks started to fly from the machine. Ash was now pulling himself out of the machine with several mechanical arms trying to pull him back in. Taiichi rushed to Ash, pulling his arm to help, "Keep running!"

As the two moved against the arms, the tiny limbs eventually gave way, probably not designed to withstand such force or resistance, and as the last one finally let go Ash fell onto the belt as the ball hit as well. Suddenly it opened as Pikachu was released, shaking his head as though he was recovering from a daze. "Pikachu!"

"Pika?" Pikachu turned to Ash and was utterly thrilled, "Pika-Pi!"

The two embraced one another, "I'm so glad you're okay."

It seemed that whatever Ash did to get Pikachu out had sent the machine into overdrive as the tube started to pop out several Pokémon at once. "The copies are hatching!" As more Pokémon started to go to the various tubes, the previously occupants were forced into the black base where, after a small flash of light, the base malleably opened around the Pokémon walking out without releasing any of the fluid. "They're fabulous fakes."

"Send in the clones."

"But where are the real ones?"

Taiichi looked up to the sphere above, "I'm guessing somewhere in there. And I doubt those arms will make it easy."

As the clones left, the male member of Team Rocket asked, "I wonder if they feel…"

"Clonesome?" with Meowth finishing the pun.

Once all of the clones left the room, the machine finally gave way to the stress and started to explode. And from the explosion all of the Poké Balls were sent flying out, releasing their captives. "The Poké originals!" one of the Rockets managed to say before the Tentacruel behind them wrapped a tentacle around the trio.

Taiichi though was too preoccupied with looking for Servine. One of the Poké Balls that landed before him though released someone else. "Wartortle?" Wartortle though was looking around trying to find someone himself, or to make sure someone wasn't here. "Who else is here?"

Not far away a rather happy-go-lucky kind of voice was dancing to his own beat around the others, "Bre-Bre. Lom-Lom-Breeee!"

"Lombre?" Following him were more familiar faces, "Pawniard, Beedrill, and Shedinja too?" Taiichi turned to Wartortle, "Who else was captured that we know?"

Wartortle started to count everyone off, recalling the events leading to each of their captures. He finally raised two fingers to show how many others he was aware of. And speaking of which, two taller Pokémon found their way through the Pokémon together stumbling upon them.

"Amber and Cynder too?" Taiichi looked back to Ash as he was embracing Pikachu, Bulbasaur and Squirtle in their reunion. The other Pokémon seemed confused and lost by the strange situation however there was someone trying to get some order among them. Taiichi rushed over to find Servine standing on Gyarados' head, organizing them. "Servine!"

She turned to him, jumping off Gyarados and into his waiting arms. "Vine!"

"Please don't ever do that again." She smacked his forehead, trying to remind him of the other dangerous situations they've placed themselves in before this, himself more so. He smiled to her just happy to have her here again as she climbed onto his shoulders.

Ash though walked up to Taiichi with Pikachu beside him, "I'm not letting this go. Think you can help me?"

Taiichi and Servine gave each other a glance then they looked back to Ash, "If it ends this madness, count us in one hundred percent. Right partner?"

"Servine!"

Amber and Cynder walked up, "Don't forget about us and the others," the Zoroark turned to the other Pokémon around. Cynder then flexing her claws as Amber got her fists ready, "he's got some major payback coming."

Taiichi turned to the Zoroark, "You, you can talk? In our language?! Like the Meowth?"

Cynder threw up her arms, "Talking isn't the hard part, it's getting the words out right. But let's stop yakking and get after that jerk and those wannabe fakes!"

A/N: I saw the rumored new Pokémon Serebii has posted. I'm not certain about the new Megas, but we had to figure there, ever since Mew they always hold back a few legendaries. And this time around, since they gave a global release, I'm hoping they are also going to do the same with these event Pokémon(not holding my breath but it would be nice to see they weren't completely Japanese exclusive or takes years before it comes to anyone else).
