Leon's Pov

I pushed Rayna forwards, we had to run, the pain in my shoulder slowly getting worse. I knew the guys were close by but they need us alive right? We were experiments of their creation after all. I realized I was slowing down, I stopped Rayna, I knew they were quite far from us.

"I can't run anymore." I said between breaths, she looked at me and widened her eyes.

"No, I'm not leaving without." She said her voice strained, she gripped my arm tightly trying to drag me with her, I sighed deeply.

"I'm slowing you down, find them, then me." I said, tears started to fill her eyes, I tried for a smile.

"Please don't cry." I said, I held my shoulder trying to stop some of the bleeding, please Rayna just go. She placed both her hands on my face.

"I'll get you back, don't worry." She said tears fall from her face, I pulled her into a kiss, then quickly broke it.

"Go!" I yelled, she nodded and turned around running towards the street.

My arms were yanked behind my back, pain exploding in my shoulder, a gun jabbed in my spine, I winced at the pain.

Rayna's PoV

I ran and kept running not paying any attention to my surrounding, almost getting hit by numerous cars. Damn why can't I have a normal day without having things like this happen? Tears blurred my vision, I'm alone and scared. My nose is now running and my sense of smell cut off, I can't track the possible scent the others may have left behind.

I ran North, I knew someone was following me, I just know it. I left Leon and they took him, I had to find Derek, then him, I needed Leon back Asap. I ducked into a store and hid, I wiped away tears from my face, damn I need to get it together, crying wont get him back to me, I have to do something about it. I stood up and walked around the store my head trying to make sense of what's happening, I walked around the store aimlessly trying to figure out a plan. I can't handle this stress, it's too much, I started feeling sweaty and my heart started to speed up. I quickly grabbed the corner of a aisle shelf so I didn't fall over but in the process I ended up knocking something over.

"Are you okay m'am?" The man at the till asked, I looked over at him, I widened my eyes and scrambled out of the store mumbling a sorry before leaving. I ran East, my stomach aches and my head feels like a nucular explosion went off. I stopped at a stop sign and gripped onto it, all of a sudden my wolf instincts kicked in yelling at my body to find a secluded place, now! I ran down the block a little farther paying no attention to street lights, running into the street and dodging each car with ease, I looked left and spotted a huge park. Perfect.

My legs started to become weak but I need to keep going, as I got closer to the park I noticed kids.. a lot of them. I ran into the park, I don't understand what's causing my change to happen now without the symptoms hours before. I bolted to the thickest part of the park luckily this park has tons of trees everywhere so it's pretty foresty and dark.

I quickly undressed, the thought of people seeing me naked just added fuel to the uncontrollable fire, my mind was in complete overdrive, I'm surprised I haven't passed out yet. The change was happening now, what caused it? The stress of knowing you may not be able to find the others and not get Leon back? Yeah, that'll do it. I'm scared, I always had Leon with me but I'm alone just like before...

My back arched signaling the beginning of my change, I clawed at the grass sucking in short shallow breaths as my body morphed itself into a wolf. Come on Rayna, you can do this.. What made you so soft? It was Leon.. he pulled the softer side of me out and it's completely changed my attitude. My back snapped, I howled in pain but I quickly clasped a hand over my mouth to shut myself up, I watched as the fur pushed it's way through my skin. I felt every little pinch of pain and trust me this is utter hell, does it ever get easier? My body forced my hand back onto the grass, I squeezed my eyes shut, I couldn't watch anymore, how does Leon watch me change and not feel sick?

I fell into my stomach when the change was complete, it happened a little quicker this time.. but I still can't figure out why this happened of all times. I opened my eyes and looked around I didn't see anyone, I sniffed the air.. no one near me either. I'm not moving from this spot.. I can't.. I can't have anyone see me like this, I'm a huge black wolf, the last thing I need is animal control trying to catch me. I slowly got up, I heard the snap of a twig, crap someone is coming. I hide behind the tree where my clothes were, I sniffed the air, I smelt another wolf... I can't tell who it is, my brain still isn't working but it's definitely another wolf, I know that smell from anywhere.

Another snap, it was closer, they smell me don't they, I poked my head from behind the tree but still saw nothing. Crap. What do I do? I pawed at the grass nervously.

"Rayna?" A male voice said, it was right near me... How did he find me? How?

This story is definitely gonna surpass 40 Chapters and thinking of that is crazy.
