Aureoin and Gary walked towards the pokemon league. They were still a long ways away from it. There were a lot of officers there, as team domination started stealing pokemon from unsuspecting trainers there. So they decided to up security to stop them their thievery. It has really helped. Team domination now avoids the area, and Aureolin felt relief that he has no worries with them. Though, he rather they go out and stop team domination. But, they have no clue as to where their headquarters are, or what their next course of action is. So Aureolin decided to take this time to enjoy this time without any worry about team domination.

It was night time, and Aureolin was lying awake with his thoughts keeping him up. He's come a long way from when he left home. He remembers that he and Snow originally planned to travel together. Now that he thinks about it, he is grateful that he was never able to travel with her. With the strong feelings Aureolin had and still has for her and Snow only seeing him as a friend would more than likely make things awkward for them. It'd probably would have hurt their friendship as well. It may hurt Aureolin that she doesn't and will more than likely never feel the same for him, but her friendship is far too important to him. She helped Aureolin so much when he lost her mother. While his dad was far too depressed to notice him, he was lucky enough to have her around to be there for him and help him through it. Though, he never expected to travel with Gray when he first met him. Gray seemed to hate Aureolin, so he never thought that that they'd ever be on friendly terms. Though, it was the same with Amber. It doesn't really seem that different traveling with Gray than when he was traveling on his own though. Gray mostly stays besides him, but doesn't talk much. Aureolin knows that Snow wouldn't be able to stop talking if she was here. But he was grateful for the quiet. Aureolin wasn't much of a talker ether, and it gave him time to really focus on other things. He was wondering how Snow was doing now. There was no word on how she was doing after he spoke to her last. He hoped that she was doing okay, and that team domination hasn't found her. Aureolin was tempted to call her now, but knows that its way too late to call her now. So he decided that it would be best to wait till tomorrow morning.

After calling Snow, Aureolin learned that she was still recovering, but was doing a little better. She wished him luck during the pokemon league. After the call ended, Gray and Aureolin made their way through a cave. They solved puzzle after puzzle to get through it, and Aureolin battled a couple of trainers here and there. It took them a good week to get through it, but they finally made it to the other side. They both took a moment to stare at the huge building in the night. The whole area was pretty stunning to them. As they walked in the pokemon center, Aureolin was surprised to see so many people around.
"Excuse me sirs! Have you by chance seen a boy named Josh by chance? He should be coming to the pokemon league soon!" a woman asked.
"I'm… not sure," Aureolin said. There were a lot of guys he battled, but he can't recall if any of them where named Josh.
"Nope," Gray simply responded.
"Oh I hope he's okay! What if he slipped off the edge of a cliff and is hurt, but no one knows he's in danger…" the woman went on.
As Aureolin looked around, he saw his dad lounging around here. Aureolin was sure he was here for him. Though for now, he guesses that he should keep his identity from him for now just to be safe. Then he heard a familiar, but horrifying voice.
"Hey! Anyone seen the man whore named Aureolin? The prick is said to be here soon!"
Aureolin caught the female who was shouting out. And it was none other than Jessica.
"Agh. What does that dumb bitch want?" Gray whispered.
Aureolin shrugged. "Donno," he whispered back. Aureolin was glad that he had to be disguised at this point, so she can't recognize him.
"Don't know what her issue is with the great Aureolin!" a girl said.
Gray and Aureolin moved their attention to the girl, and the group around her.
"Yeah! I mean, he's been so busy getting badges and traveling!"
The girl that just talked Aureolin recognized. She was Lilly, and Fred and his friend Mike where in the group as well. He was glad to see all of them and would like to ask what they all have been up to, but knows he can't blow his cover. Especially with Jessica around. As he searched the group more, he saw Marty, Jeff, Sariah, Ashley, Sam and Seth. That was all the people in the group that he knew, but noticed that there was a couple more that he's never seen.
"…So, who are you guys here to cheer on for?" Seth asked Gray and Aureolin.
"I'm here to challenge the elite four," Aureolin said.
The group stared at them silently for a moment.
"Ashley, have you heard of this guy before?" Sam whispered.
Sam shook her head.
"You must be pretty skillful to dodge any news of you of when you are getting badges. I myself like to watch all gym battles where the gym leaders were defeated, and seen all of them on tv from all eight gym battles in Johto. I never once saw your face from even one gym. Are you sure you ain't just joking with us?" Fred asked.
Aureolin looked at Gray for some assistance, but he wasn't paying any attention. So he sighed and showed them all his badges.
"Wow! That is all the badges in Johto!" Ashley said.
"Yep…" Aureolin put them away and looked away.
"So, who are you?" Marty asked.
Aureolin looked at them with a nervous smile. "Me? I'm… Austin."
"…You don't look like an Austin at all," Fred said.
Aureolin let out a nervous laugh. "Really?"
"So Austin, have you heard about Aureolin?" Lilly asked.
"Yeah… never ran into him though."
"I see… What do you think of him? Do you think you can take him on, if you had to fight him to be the champion?"
"Well… I'd defiantly think I would struggle against him. He looks like a tough challenger."
"I'd bet he'd flatten you," Fred said.
Aureolin let out a nervous laugh. "You all sure have confidence in… him."
"Yeah! I mean, he's pretty resourceful, smart, and amazing! He saved Lugia from team domination!"
Aureolin frowned in the thought of Lugia.
"…But team domination still captured it…" Lilly said.
They all went silent for a moment. Aureolin wondered what was the point of stopping them, if they were still going to get it. Well at least now Madeline was here, so they can be better dealt with than before when they tricked her.
"So, this guy a friend of yours?" Marty asked, referring to Gray.
"Yeah. His name is… Gary," Aureolin said.
Gray glared at Aureolin, disapproving of the name. It was what he was mistakenly called by his drunken aunt, as well as practically all the other "G" names out there.
"Hello there, Gary! My name is Ashley…" She introduced everyone. The other two names Aureolin didn't know was Rachel and Danny.
"…Hi," Gray said.
"Very talkative," Danny joked.
"It's really nice to meet you all!" Aureolin said.
"It's nice to meet you too!" Ashley said.
"…I hope you all see Aureolin soon."
"I'm sure we will! After all, he's amazing!" Sam said.
Aureolin looked down with a smile and tears in his eyes. He can't believe he had so many people behind him. Aureolin didn't think he made that much of an impact on them. After all, he didn't keep in much contact with them after he left them.
"Hey, I bet I can call him to see where he's at!" Fred shouted.
Aureolin look straight up with a panic look. "…I have to go to the bathroom!" he shouted and left.
"… That was sudden," Marty said.
"Anyways, let's call him!" Fred said. He dialed his number, but there was no answer. "Huh… must be busy."
"Hope he's…okay," Lilly said.
"I'm sure he is," Gray said.
"Yeah Gary! After all, he knows how to handle any situation!" Lilly shouted.
Gray gave an annoyed look while he resisted the urge to shout at her.
"Well, Austin should go and give a shot at the pokemon league! Tell him that we wish him luck!" Danny said.
"Right…" Gray then walked towards the restroom. "Later."
They all said bye to him.

Aureolin started grabbing things to challenge the elite four. He hopped that he grabbed enough to help him through. Though he was glad he was able to get this far. He wondered what he'd do after he challenges them. He traveled all throughout Johto, like he wanted. He figured he'd figure it out afterwards. So he walked to the guys blocking the door to the elite four, and once he showed them his badges, they let him through.
