:Okay difficulty rating time! These here little bitches are the hardest to write about! They are the hardest couple to write about, then up comes Malik and Bakura, then Anzu and Mana, and then Atemu and Yugi. It took me three days to plan and write this out! So, I hope you enjoy this chapter!:
"Hey!" Joey yelled, glaring as he put all his weight onto the heel of his shoe, forcing the royal who was dragging him to halt. Seto narrowed his eyes, turning his head back around to look at the blond. He had let him drag him out of the building and they were almost to the gate of school, why stop him now? Couldn't he have stopped him earlier if he had a problem with it? Seto rose an eyebrow.
"What?" He responded, as if he didn't see any reason for Joey to yell at him. He had let him kidnap him from his group, why yell at him? He tugged at Joey's hand, trying to get him to release the weight from his heel. Joey glared harder, refusing to move due to the royal's obvious request. He jerked his hand out of the adviser's, placing both of his arms at his sides as Seto turned around fully to face him.
"What's the big idea?!" Joey growled, angered by everything Seto did so far. "You just come in like some big shot and grab me out of my seat like it's totally okay, and then you drag me out of the school, to the gate, and now you're glaring at me as if I did something wrong!" Seto crossed his arms, listening to his words. Perhaps he was a little over dramatic with his actions, but he was too nervous to go and outright ask if he remembered their date. He had a feeling that the blond wouldn't, so why not just grab him? He stared blankly at Joey, watching him as he waited for a response.
"Well?!" Joey screamed, his cheeks turning red out of anger. "Aren't you gonna say something?!" Seto turned his head away, as if bored with the current situation. "Hey! Look at me when I'm talking to-" Seto moved his head back to him, his eyes cold, yet slightly amused.
"You really don't remember," Joey stopped, freezing on the spot. "Do you?" He looked down, remember what? Did something happen? He crossed his arms, raising his head to look up at the sky above, what did he forget? Seto observed him, finding his actions cute, he was so strange and yet he liked that about the teen. However, despite his cute appearance, his attractive smile, his adorable voice...His attitude still needed work...
"I...uh..." Joey felt his cheeks redden in embarrassment. He placed a hand on his hip and one behind his head. "I guess I don't." He laughed nervously, feeling a harsh glare coming from the royal. Oh god, did he make him mad? Seto lowered his glaring eyes, willing himself to calm down. He knew he was going to forget, so don't get so mad. He uncrossed his arms, taking a deep breath, exhaling and inhaling while relaxing, just calm down...
Seto rose his eyes back to Joey, the blue gaze no longer angered, but looked slightly hurt. How could he forget such a deal they had made? He had been worried about such a thing, and yet this teen didn't worry at all? Was he an idiot for feeling like this? He liked this idiot teen, but he made him feel stupid at times. Did Joey not remember because he didn't like him? Maybe that was it...After all he wasn't that good at romance, but neither was Malik and his relationship with Bakura was going fine...And Mana had only even had a childish crush, and she's going good...and Atemu seems to be improving his relationship with-
"Hey." Seto blinked in shock as he heard a snap, Joey's fingers placed in front of his eyes. "You okay?" Joey questioned, slightly confused on why the adviser would just randomly zone out. He had been angered with him and now he was zoning out? He didn't know which he preferred, although it would most likely be the second option...
"Yes, I just..." Seto sighed, turning his eyes to look into Joey's. "Sorry. Let me inform you of why I did such a thing." Joey nodded, unfazed by Seto's intense gaze, this guy was like any other guy, he didn't need to get worked up right now. As long as he didn't do anything weird...
"Do you remember the quiz?" Seto questioned, narrowing his eyes once more. Joey blinked in confusion for a moment, before he felt his face flush and his heart begin to pound. The quiz! He looked away, panicking as he felt his entire body become flustered. No wonder the guy seemed so mad! He had forgotten about the damn deal they had made! He covered his face with his hands, wanting to calm himself down. The guy had come to collect you to hang out, or was it a date? He felt himself blush more, he removed his hands from his face, placing them into his hair and ruffling it around. Was it a date?!
"I-I remember..." Joey finally spoke, he removed his hands from his hair, placing them stiffly at his sides as he turned to look at the royal. "H-Hey, I have a question..." Seto rose an eyebrow, recrossing his arms.
"Yes?" Joey felt his face burn more, was his face going to melt or something?! He took a deep breath, his face beginning to calm down as he began to relax.
"I-Is this..." Joey made a gesture with his hand. "Hanging out thing going to be...ya know..." Joey looked at Seto, their eyes locking. "A d-date?" Seto blinked in shock, his expression now completely amused by the sudden question.
"Yes." Seto told him blankly, making the teen's face light back up instantly. Joey covered his face again, his voice muffled as he let out silent screams. Was he an idiot?! He had forgotten about something that counts as a date?! He had never been on a date! What do you do on dates?! Did you just eat food and stuff?! If he had remembered he could have asked for advice from the others! It wasn't like he hadn't gone on a mini date with the guy, he had been alone with him in three occasions, but those didn't really count. He had never gone anywhere with the guy and-
"Hey." Seto snapped his fingers in front of Joey's covered face, making him remove his hands to reveal his flushed cheeks. Seto sighed, raising a hand to his head, was he going to get a headache? "We should get going, I don't think the limo driver will wait much longer." He turned to the gate, beginning to walk toward it while Joey turned his head sharply to the gate in surprise.
"L-Limo?" Joey whispered, his voice unbelieving as he jogged up to Seto's side and began to walk beside him. A limo? No way, how would you even get a limo to arrive this early? It was like seven in the morning now! Seto turned his eyes to the side, observing his interest from the corner of his eye. He looked excited, confused, and was practically peeing his pants from what Seto could see. Was he frightened? Well, he might have never been in a limo before. It wasn't that big of a deal, a limo is a limo.
They walked to the gate, crossing it and stopping as they looked at the vehicle parked in front of them. A black, shining limo was stretched out in front of them, a man in a dark suit resting near the hood of it, smoking a cigarette as he waited. He rose his eyes to Seto, removing the cancer stick from his mouth and throwing it onto the ground, stomping on it before making his way over to him.
"I apologize for the delay." Seto spoke formally, reaching forward to shake the man's hand. The man smiled at him and shook his head in response.
"It's fine." The man assured him. "I've only been here for around ten minutes, sir." Seto nodded at him, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a white piece of paper before handing it to the man. Joey watched the exchange, wondering vaguely of what it was. Was it a check? The man looked at the paper, nodding at it.
"What is your destination?" The man questioned, his eyes never leaving Seto's, were limo drivers always like this? Seto gestured to Joey with his head.
"He will tell you." Seto told him, walking forward to the end of the limo and letting himself in. Joey glared at the door, wasn't limo drivers supposed to let you in?! He acted as if he owned the damn thing! He heard the man clear his throat, gaining his attention.
Joey gulped, trying to think of something. Why was he supposed to choose the destination?! He didn't know where to go! Joey looked back and forth, forcing his mind to quickly come up with something. He told the man his answer quickly, watching as the man nodded in response and made his way to the door that Seto had entered. He grabbed hold of the door handle, opening it and holding the door open for him. Joey's eyes widened, so they were supposed to do that! He uttered out a small thank you, stepping into the limo.
Joey's eyes widened, this is a limo? The inside was cascaded in a deep blue light, the seats, carpet, and walls a dark gray that looked black as the windows were covered with a matching curtain. The seats looked as if they stretched all the way around the area, the place being as big as a decently long hallway. On the left wall, in the center rested an area that looked to be a mini bar, bottles and glasses were arranged behind barred shelves, to protect it from falling.
He looked around, taking in the whole area. Who designed these kinds of things? And how do you even know where you're going in one of these? The windows were covered, and it didn't look as if you could pull them back either, did you just have to trust the driver? Joey let out a silent gasp, hearing the sound of someone chuckling to the side of him.
He turned his head, narrowing his eyes as his face flushed in embarrassment. Seto sat at the far end of the limo, in his hands a glass of some sort of clear, yellow liquid. He chuckled, amusement clearly shown as he smiled softly at him. Joey flushed, when this guy smiled, he looked so handsome...He shook his head, ridding himself of such thoughts. He was supposed to be mad, right? But he felt bad, because he had forgotten that he was to hang out with the royal.
"What?" Joey grumbled, kneeling down on his knees so he wouldn't hit his head on the ceiling of the vehicle, how did Seto get over there anyway? "What're you laughing at?" The royal chuckled once more, gesturing toward him with the glass in his hand.
"You look as if you've never been in a limo before." Joey glared at the adviser, of course he'd never been in a limo before! How would he be able to afford such a thing?
"I haven't." Joey snapped. "I'm not rich like some people." Seto rolled his eyes, turning them to the nearest window, staring at it as if he could see through the dark fabric covering it. Joey let out a grunt, not moving as he looked around the limo. Really, how was he supposed to move?
"Aren't you going to sit down?" Seto questioned, returning his eyes to the blond. Joey blushed, feeling his face become warm at the question. He would if he could!
"I am." Joey replied, maneuvering his legs so he was sitting Indian style. Seto narrowed his eyes, taking a drink from his glass and setting it down behind a barred area. Joey narrowed his eyes at the barred area, were those just fancy weird cup holder things?
"Come." Seto pat the area next to him. "Sit next to me, we should be moving soon." Joey opened his mouth to say something, only to feel the expensive vehicle move, and send him face down onto the floor. Seto let out a chuckle, while Joey mumbled something into the carpet. He sat up, rubbing at his chin to make sure nothing weird was on it.
"I can't." Joey responded, making the royal raise an eyebrow at him.
"Why not?"
"I can't move."
"You can move."
"No I can't."
"Yes you can."
"How did you even get over there anyway?"
"I moved to my seat when the limo wasn't moving."
"Oh..." Joey flushed and looked down at the carpet, resting on his knees once more. "So, how do I move?" Seto shrugged, turning his eyes to the window for moment, as if he wasn't interested in the current conversation.
"Crawl." He spoke blankly, a slight hint of amusement hidden in his eyes as he turned them back to the teen on the floor. Joey's eyes widened, crawl?! Was he making fun of him?! He looked around, trying to think of another option. Did he really have to crawl? He moved his eyes back to the royal, watching as he began to tap his knee with his hand.
"Come on." Seto let out a smug smile. "Here boy." Joey's face became hot, oh that was not funny! He shook his head, ridding himself of his blush and forced himself on his knees. He crawled slowly to the royal, hating every second of it. He knew the adviser was going to make fun of him, he already was, so...
Joey reached the seat where Seto was, maneuvering himself onto the area next to him nearest to the window. He glared at the curtained object, not wanting to look at the royal who had forced him to crawl. Well, he didn't really force him, after all it did look like the only way to move around. He felt something warm be placed on his head, making him let out a slight gasp as he turned his head to see what it was.
"Good boy." Seto smiled, petting Joey on the head. Joey blushed, staring at the royal as he smiled. He turned his eyes away once more, don't be flustered because he's smiling...
"I'm not a dog." Joey grumbled, placing his elbow near the window and resting his chin in his palm. Seto let out a chuckle at those words, turning his head to the opposite window.
"So, where are we going?" Seto questioned, his eyes never leaving the other curtained window. Joey pouted, not knowing if he wanted to tell him where they were going or not. He was probably expecting him to take advantage of the situation and take them somewhere fancy or whatnot. Like he would know anything fancy about this place, well maybe he should...He did live here...
"Nowhere special." Joey responded, feeling embarrassed just by saying such a thing. What if he thought he was a child for the area he picked?
"Is it special to you?" Seto asked, his voice warm as Joey turned his head to look at him. Special? Joey thought, was this place special to me? Well, he had plenty of fun memories there. So, maybe it was?
"Kind of, I guess."
"Then, it's special." Seto moved his head, looking into Joey's eyes as he smiled once more at him. "Now, will you inform me of where we are going?" Joey blushed, before noticing a small fact about his words. He narrowed his eyes at the royal.
"Stop it." Seto rose an eyebrow in question.
"Stop what?"
"The talking thing again."
"Oh..." Seto chuckled, he had forgotten about that. "My apologies then." Joey glared at him.
"Stop!"
"All I said was 'My apologies.'"
"Say it like a normal person." Joey got closer to the royal, moving his face closer to Seto's, making him back up in response. "Say 'I'm sorry.'" He moved closer, making the adviser's face become a bright red.
"W-Wait, you-"
"Say it!" He moved closer, making the royal back up even more. At this rate..
"Stop, you're-"
"Say it damn i-" Joey let out a yell as he moved even closer, making the royal lose his balance on the seat and fall on his back, scaring the blond and forcing him to fall as well.
The two let out a grunt, Seto's grunt being the loudest due to a certain weight weighing him down. Joey was sprawled out on top of the royal, his head resting on Seto's torso and his legs on both sides of the royal's. Seto let out another grunt. great, this is what he got for being formal. He looked to the blond on top of him, wait...Seto processed the situation, Joey was on top of him?!
Joey knew there wasn't a heated pillow on the limo, royals couldn't be that fancy, could they? He had fallen, and there is only one other warm thing in the limo with him. He moved his head up, raising his body up and looking down to find Seto staring up at him, his cheeks dusted with a shade of pink. Joey's face began to burn, he felt his heartbeat begin to pick up. Here he was, practically pinning the guy down in the back of a limo, his arms now on both sides of the royals, his legs doing the same with his bottom half, and he was looking down at the guy! This was wrong on so many levels!
"I uh..." Joey mumbled out, his mouth becoming dry. "I'm s-sorry." Like saying sorry was going to help any! Seto blinked up at him, his heart threatening to break out of his chest at any moment. What was this? He gulped, trying to find his voice. This wasn't good, his body was beginning to react without his permission.
"I-It's fine." Seto stuttered, finding it odd that he out of all people would stutter, but who wouldn't in a situation like this? He could take advantage of the situation, after all it wasn't like he was going to do anything. He wasn't like Atemu, he was vaguely surprised that he hadn't jumped poor Yugi yet. He tried to regain his composure, clearing his throat silently so Joey wouldn't hear it.
"I'll just, uh..." Joey let out a nervous chuckle. "I'll move, sorry..." He made the motion to move, only to feel Seto lift his body up, wrapping an arm around his waist and placing a hand on the back of his head, jerking his body back down onto the seat. He let out a gasp, feeling his head be forced back onto the royal's torso, the grip on both his head and waist becoming tighter. Joey felt his heart begin to race even faster, was he beginning to sweat? He moved his hands up, placing them on Seto's chest and beginning to push.
"Hey, let-"
"Stay." Joey stopped pushing, obeying the royal immediately. He felt his head being risen slightly, before feeling someone place their lips onto his hair, kissing it gently. What was going on?!
Seto nuzzled his hair, finding the scent of the blond's shampoo intoxicating, it was interesting, what kind of smell was that? It was sweet and yet spicy, how fitting for a teen like him. He was vaguely surprised that Joey had stopped moving, but the teen had reminded him of a puppy, so he shouldn't be that surprised. He heard Joey let out a slight yawn as he no longer felt any tension in the teen's body, as if he was relaxing. Yup, a puppy. He caressed his hair gently, as if trying to lure the boy into a slumber.
Seto didn't know how long it would be until they would arrive at Joey's destination, but it didn't matter...
He would just him sleep until they got there.

"What is this place?" Seto asked himself, staring at the large building in front of him as he waited for Joey to exit the limo. The building was as large as the school they had come from, the building was walled with green looking glass and multiple entrances were scattered amongst the area and cars were everywhere in the parking lot, where had Joey brought them?
The ride had lasted longer than 20 minutes, so Joey had been able to get a tiny nap in, but when he had to be woken up, he was surprised to find that he was only woken up with a tap on the cheek. Usually the guys would have a hell of a time waking him up, but Seto had done it easily. Maybe it was because it was only a nap, oh well it was nothing to dwell on...Joey stretched, crawling to the door and stepping out of the limo. He yawned and looked to Seto, who was staring at the building as if it were the strangest thing on earth.
"Why're you looking at it like that?" Joey questioned tiredly, his voice deeper as he yawned once more. He turned his head, watching as the man who had driven the limo returned to the front of it, taking off with it without talking to them. Did Seto tell him to come pick them up at a certain time or did they always do that?
"What is this?" Seto questioned, pointing at the structure and turning his eyes to Joey. He yawned at the royal, god how many times was he going to yawn? He pointed at the building as well.
"That, my friend." Joey spoke, finally ridding himself of hopefully his final yawn. "Is the mall." Seto rose an eyebrow in question, what in Ra's name was a mall?
"Mall?" Seto mumbled out softly, hoping that Joey wouldn't hear him. Sadly, he did. Joey smirked, finding it amusing to find something that the royal didn't know. He was from Egypt, of course he wouldn't know what a mall was!
"Yeah." Joey spoke, he crossed his arms behind his back. "This is where a lot of people shop for books, phones, and practically anything." He narrowed his eyes at the royal, finding something wrong about the whole idea of hanging out. They were hanging out, somewhat like a date...Why were they in their school uniforms?
"And speaking of anything..." He moved himself around to the front of the royal, looking him up and down. Seto narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms as he, too, began to look Joey up and down.
"What?" Seto questioned, curious of why Joey would be looking at him like that. Joey placed a hand to his chin, crossing one arm over his chest and allowing his elbow to rest in his palm. He closed his eyes, thinking. Usually when you went on a date or hung out, you wouldn't be in school uniforms, would you? Also since this guy is rich, surely he wouldn't mind doing something with his money. He can afford a limo, so this would be like pennies to him!
"Come on, we're going to do something about our clothes." Joey smiled, reaching forward and grabbing Seto's hand, making the royal flustered as soon as he took hold of it.
"H-Hey!" Seto gasped out, stumbling as Joey began to drag him to the so called 'Mall'. What was wrong with his clothes? And why was that an issue? He let out a slight gasp as he almost tripped over nothing, finding it difficult to walk as he was dragged, now he knew how Joey felt when he dragged him. He moved to a small jog, catching up to Joey and placing himself next to him. He narrowed his eyes down at their joined hands, Joey had began to hold his hand...He allowed a small smile to appear on his face, tightening his hand around Joey's and giving it a tight squeeze.
Joey turned his head to the side, blushing when he saw Seto smile at him. He squeezed his hand, indicating that he noticed his squeeze. Seto nodded and looked forward, watching as they approached one of many entrances to the mall.
"So, we're going to look at clothes first?" Seto asked, grabbing at a door and opening it and allowing Joey to walk through it, dragging him behind him. Joey nodded, smiling.
"Yeah." Joey gestured at his clothing. "Moving around in the school uniform is fine and all, but it'll look like we're skipping and it's just odd to be on a date while wearing school stuff." Seto chuckled, making him confused. "What's so funny?"
"You acknowledge the fact that this is a date, then?" Joey's eyes widened, his face turning red at the question. He glared at the royal.
"Of course I do!" Joey stated loudly, squeezing the royal's hand harshly. "You said it was a date, so of course I'm going to acknowledge the fact that this is a date." He mocked, turning his head to the side in annoyance before he looked around to the stores around.
Seto smiled softly, turning his head and trying to keep himself from looking impressed by the multiple stores stationed in the area. How do you pack so many stores into one place?! And also, why were there so many people here? There were people everywhere! He moved to the side, avoiding a child as they ran past him, making him bump into Joey's side.
"What's wrong?" Joey questioned, not knowing of why Seto had bumped into him. Seto turned to look at him, tightening his hold on Joey's hand.
"Nothing, sorry."
"Hey, you said sorry!" Joey stopped walking, halting their movement as he looked at Seto with bright eyes. "You didn't say I apologize or anything fancy!" Seto blinked in shock, did he? He chuckled, smiling as he nodded at the smiling blond and looked into his eyes.
"Yeah, I did."
"What kind of response is that?"
"Sorry."
"You did it again!"

The walls were tanned, the carpet was colored a light gray, and the room was bright as Ra himself as the two of them walked through the clothing store. Scattered amongst the area were rows of clothing racks, pants, skirts, shirts, jackets, anything you wanted to wear were somewhere. In every corner, at every wall, were many stalls that were labeled as fitting rooms.
Seto narrowed his eyes, he was used to bright light from the sun, but not from artificial light. He closed his eyes, not wanting to look at the light as he was dragged throughout the store. He opened his eyes slightly, finding Joey to be dragging him through an area that now had a large table with multiple bottles stationed around. Was it just him or did it smell overly fruity and flowery in this section?! He covered his nose, hearing many voices invade his ears, this store was hell!
"Hey." Seto opened his eyes to the voice, gasping as he found Joey right in front of him with his face only an inch away from his own. He backed up in response, his face turning pink from the sudden closeness. Joey smiled cheekily. "We're past the smelly part of the store, come on, we're almost to the men's clothing section."
Seto nodded in response, finding that his nose was no longer clogged by the strange fragrances. He was surprised to find that he couldn't hear that many people either, did not many people come to this part of the store? He looked around, finding only about five people in the area. Did men not come to shop here? Well if they have to pass the area in the center of the store, one could only imagine why.
Joey led the royal to a nearby fitting room, finding a stool there and gesturing at it while letting go of his hand.
"Sit down." Joey demanded. "I'll go find us something to wear, you don't mind buying clothes, do you?" Seto shook his head in response, not caring what they did as long as they didn't have to go through the fragrance hell again. Joey smiled, waving as he took off toward dozens of clothing racks. Seto let out a breath of air, placing his hands on the back of the stool and leaning back.
Despite the fragrance hell, and the slight arguments earlier, he was having fun. He wasn't used to the whole date thing, but from what he could see, Joey wasn't either. So, he didn't feel that uncomfortable. Also, it was interesting to hang out with him, he thought he was doing rather well despite this being a first date. And, he was able to hold Joey while he slept. Seto blushed at that, his face had been adorable while he slept. He was a puppy, not like a puppy, but a puppy. He was so cute, he had given him a kiss on the forehead while he slept, although he would never tell him that, and Joey had smiled as soon as he did. Seto smiled at the memory, he was having a lot of fun.
"Excuse me?" Seto looked to the side, finding a young girl looking at him. She had shoulder length brown hair, her eyes a matching brown and in Seto's opinion, looked rather plain. "I'm sorry, but..." Seto rose an eyebrow as the girl's face became flushed, she looked left and right, as if looking for something.
"M-My friend, Stacy, she...um..." Seto leaned forward, placing an elbow on his knee and resting his chin in his palm. What was this girl talking about? Could she even talk?
"She?" Seto spoke blankly, not interested in the girl at all. She fidgeted, her face displaying utter embarrassment. Okay, this was annoying...
"She was wondering if...um..." She took a deep breath. "Can she have your phone number?" Seto narrowed his eyes, huh? He didn't even know this girl, why would she want his phone number?
"Why?" Seto questioned, asking himself if he should yawn or not. Would it be rude? He wouldn't care really, but if it would help the girl leave him alone, he wouldn't see why he wouldn't yawn.
"Well, she said that you looked..." She looked down, looking at her feet. "Like her type, you know?" Seto sighed, finding it annoying how she said You know, it sounded whiny and completely helpless. He turned his face away, hoping the girl would leave him alone when he looked away.
He narrowed his eyes, finding Joey in the distance looking at a rack of clothing. He looked as if he was looking for a shirt, Seto smiled at this, had he already found a shirt he wanted? Perhaps he was looking for more than one? Joey's face scrunched up, as if he rethought something before he placed a shirt back on the clothing rack.
"Um..." Seto groaned, the girl still hadn't left yet? "What're you staring at?" His eyes widened for a moment, she noticed he was staring at something? He thought of something, surely Joey wouldn't mind if he used him for just a moment...
"At my boyfriend." Seto responded, his eyes turning to the girl's before they narrowed. "Why?" He watched as the girl blushed brightly, her face turning brighter than before. Saying that Joey was his boyfriend was odd, yet it didn't feel bad. He rather liked the thought actually, no he didn't mind it. He liked it, he really liked calling him his boyfriend, a lot.
"O-Oh!" She gasped out, looking left and right, perhaps she was searching for Stacy? "I-I'm sorry! I-I'll...Excuse me!" Seto rose an amused eyebrow, turning his head and watching as the girl quickly left, retreating into the fragrance hell. He smirked, good, perhaps that will keep other girls off as well.
"What're you smirking at?" Seto turned his head, finding Joey standing next to him with clothes hanging around on his arms. He chuckled, standing up and poking Joey's temple, making him let out a confused yelp.
"Nothing, just something that happened."
"What happened?" Joey pouted, wanting to know. Seto shrugged, hoping to change the subject soon. He pointed at the clothing hanging on his arms.
"Are those your clothes?" He asked, making Joey stop his pouting and begin to nod in response.
"Yeah, these are mine and these," Joey moved his left arm to Seto, making him look at the arm in confusion. "Are yours." Seto blinked in surprise, his? Why would he need clothes?
"Mine?"
"Yeah."
"Why?"
"There is no way I'm going to let you walk around in the school uniform!" Joey gestured at his arm. "Go on, take them." Seto looked at him, before taking the clothes off of his arm and looking at them. "I don't know your size, so I guessed, and also we'll have to wear our school shoes with it, but I don't think it'll be that big of a deal."
"You-"
"You're paying for the clothes, so if you're thinking of thanking me then-"
"You're weird." Seto chuckled, making Joey stop and glare at him, placing his free hand on his hip.
"Well, fine then!" Joey grumbled. "Call me weird! The next time I do something nice-" He let out a grunt as Seto placed a hand on his head, petting him gently. He blushed, looking up at him with confused eyes.
"Come on." Seto said softly. "Don't we need to put these on?" Joey blushed brighter, nodding as he looked away and pointed at the fitting rooms.
"If they fit and look good, then I'll get one of the people who work here to come and take the tags off so we can wear them out," Joey spoke. "Also, I'll make sure to get bags for our school uniforms."
Seto nodded in response, turning to the side to the stalls that were labeled as fitting rooms. Wasn't it weird to have rooms just for trying on clothes? It made sense to have them, but still it was odd. What if he was trying on something that someone had already worn, that would be disgusting, but what did he know? He stood in front of one of the stalls, looking to the side to watch as Joey entered one as well. He sighed, might as well get in and try these on...
Seto entered the fitting room, finding the area nothing but a tanned bench, a mirror and a hook to place other articles of clothing. It was simple, good. He looked down at the clothing Joey had given him, feeling the fabric of the items. The smaller article of clothing appeared to smooth, thin cotton, while the larger article appeared to be a rough type of fabric, leather, or was it called something else? Leather didn't feel like this, he would assume. He shook his head, placing the clothing down and taking hold of a shining object that seemed to be connected to the large piece. It was silver, and it looked like a long thin line...A belt? It was kind of heavy, but maybe it wouldn't feel so heavy once he put it on.
"Might as well..." Seto whispered to himself, grabbing at the school uniform's tie and pulling it off.
"After all, Joey did pick it out..."
()()()()()()()()()()()()
Joey sat in the same stool Seto had sat in, pouting as he waited for the royal to exit the fitting room. It didn't take this long to change clothes! He stood up stretching, moving to a nearby stall door that was left open, a body mirror on the back of it. He observed his clothing, making sure nothing was out of place. On his body was a plain white t-shirt, adjourned with a blue jean jacket with matching blue jeans and a brown belt. He adjusted his jacket, making sure he looked decent in it. He thought he looked fine, but would he like it?
Joey felt his face flush at the question, why would he care? He looked down, not wanting to see his face in the mirror. This was a date, why wouldn't you care? You want to look your best, don't you? Yeah, but he didn't want to be all flustered about it! Besides what if the royal didn't like the outfit he had picked out for him? What if he thought it was stupid looking? Or if it was the wrong size? Well, he couldn't blame him for the wrong size, after all he wouldn't know-
"Hey." Joey jumped at the voice, his heart skipping a beat at the sudden interruption and turned his head around slowly, his eyes widening at what he saw. He moved his body completely around, taking in how the outfit looked on Seto. His outfit consisted of nothing but a long sleeved, thin black shirt with long black pants adjourned with a silver belt. That's all it was, a simple going out attire, but on him... Joey felt a spark of pride go up in him as he smirked and placed his hands on his hips, he didn't think he did that bad of a job!
"I see that my choices were well made." Joey announced proudly, looking over the royal once more. "It looks good on you." Seto narrowed his eyes, his cheeks becoming a slight pink. He moved his gaze onto Joey's outfit, taking in his clothing.
"As does your choices for yourself." Seto commented, smirking as the teen blinked at him in slight confusion. "You look cute." Joey's eyes widened, his face turning brighter than Seto's as he turned his face away and looked in the mirror, looking at his own flustered face.
"T-Thank you." Joey mumbled out, darting his eyes back and forth for a distraction. "Oh, hey! Um...The bags!" Joey rushed to the stool, grabbing at the items next to it. He had forgotten he had placed some bags there, heck his uniform was in one of them! How could he forget?
Seto chuckled, how many times had he laughed so far? Have they even started the date yet? He watched as Joey held out a bag to him, smiling awkwardly as he did so. Seto took a bag, smiling back and looking around.
"Should we find someone to take these tags off?" Seto questioned, gesturing to a tag on his arm. Joey blinked in surprise, wait, the size was okay?
"I got the right size?!" Joey spoke, amazed by this. Seto rose an eyebrow at him.
"Yeah, why?" Seto told him. "With how often you stare at me, I'm honestly not surprised." Joey's eyes widened, his face beginning to brighten up again.
"I do not stare at you!" Joey argued, his fists clutching as he glared at the adviser. Seto let out another chuckle, grabbing at one of his fists and flattening it out so he could lace their fingers together. He began to drag them across the area.
"Come on, let's go find someone."
"Don't hold my hand after saying something like that!"

After walking around, Seto came to a conclusion. Joey was hell to be around when he was hungry. They had bought their clothes, then Joey said he was hungry. So they went to eat, he had bought about six pretzels, ate them within ten minutes and then got up and acted like nothing happened. Then they went to three other stores to browse, he was hungry again. And he had eaten four hamburgers...Seto was terrified for his budgets life, he had plenty of money, being an adviser and all. But could it handle his interest's hellish appetite?
Also, he had found that Joey never really bought anything but food. They had gone to a lot of places now, but all he did was browse. He never bought, he would look at something, sometimes show him, and then put it back. Even when he asked if he wanted it, he said he didn't. Didn't people usually take advantage of the fact that they were with someone with a lot of money? Well, other than using it to eat, that is...
"You okay?" Joey asked, turning his head to Seto. The royal blinked in confusion, snapping out of his thoughts as they walked. He had been walking with his head down the entire time, his hands in his pockets while Joey held a soft drink in one hand and the other in his own pocket.
"Yeah." Seto responded, moving his eyes to Joey. "I'm fine, just thinking of something, that's all."
"Relax, man." Joey sighed, turning his head and taking a sip of his drink. "Around me, you don't have to think about weird stuff that makes you go all zoned out and stuff." Seto rose an eyebrow in response to this.
"But you were doing it."
"Yeah, but now I'm not."
"Also, what do you mean around you?" The two of them stopped, Joey turning his head back around to look at the royal.
"Huh?"
"You said around you, what do you mean?" Joey's face turned a bright pink at the question, he didn't know why he said it. It was just a friendly way of saying to chill out, you don't need to be so stiff. He had finally stopped speaking formally, but he was still tense in a way.
"It means you don't need to be all tense." Joey mumbled out. "You're human, remember? You can relax, also we've been hanging out for a good four hours now..." He pouted and looked away. "I would think that you would be at least normal now..."
"I am normal, because I wasn't thinking about anything work related or royal related." Seto smiled, chuckling slightly as Joey snapped his head around to look at him with wide eyes. "I was thinking about this date thing, and how..." He narrowed his eyes, not caring if people were looking at them because they were stopped in the middle of a mall.
Joey's eyes widened, his face becoming red as Seto stared down into his eyes, his heart began to race. Great, no flirting in the middle of the damn mall! He looked left and right, looking for a distraction somehow. His eyes rested on a colorful shop, the name of it beaming in bright yellow and orange letters; CANDY GALORE.
"Hey, let's go there!" Joey quickly spoke, his voice coming out as a cracking mess as he pointed in the direction of the bright store. Seto grunted in annoyance, looking to the side and noticing the bright area. He rose an eyebrow before he sighed and began to move toward it, gesturing for Joey to follow him.
Joey let out a sigh of relief, good...He took a deep breath, trying to calm his heart and face down. What would have happened if he hadn't said anything? If he didn't know any better, he could have sworn the royal was leaning down toward him! He followed Seto, jogging to his side and walking into the bright store, his eyes beginning to widen at how childish and, oddly enough, fun it looked.
Not only were the walls a bright, neon orange, but the floors were a bright yellow that shined out at them that almost rivaled the clothing stores, the shelves and cases of candy were brightened in the same color of yellow and orange, blue, red, and many other colors were scattered amongst the store, giving it a goofy feel. People were around the area, some in a bright red and yellow outfit with a name tag, while many others were just in there to look around and browse. It currently was a place that stood out, no wonder there were people in here!
"Why are all these stores so bright?" Seto grumbled, raising a hand to cover his eyes, as if that would help him drown out some of the bright colors screaming at him. Joey chuckled, trying to hide how he was beginning to become slightly worried for the adviser. Was he developing a headache? How do you get rid of headaches?
"Sorry, do you want to leave?" Joey questioned, moving his eyes to the royal. Seto narrowed his eyes down at him, before closing them and sighing.
"No." He responded, opening his eyes and looking around. "You wanted to come here, so go ahead and look around, I'll go look as well if that makes you feel any better." Joey looked down, feeling guilty before he nodded and walked to an area of the store.
The place was huge despite looking so small from the entrance. Some of the sections of the place trailed all the way to the back of the store, and some walls were colored differently to indicate what candy was there. Joey narrowed his eyes at a wall that was colored brown, that would mean chocolate, right? And chocolate made headaches feel better...
He moved to the brown colored wall, finding his guess to be correct. It was chocolate, it was a lot of chocolate. Every kind of company that made chocolate was resting in different boxes, the labels telling of where they came from in different colors and wrappers. Most of them were in red and pink though, why was that? He looked to the side, noticing a strange looking chocolate. He grabbed at it, taking it into his hands and looking at it.
It was a blue box, the clear cover revealing a chocolate shaped dragon. The detail being exact and showing every scale and tooth, all of the details were amazing! Joey tilted the box around, trying to figure out how a person could put so much detail into chocolate. Who had the patience to do this? Was this a hobby, to carve stuff out of chocolate? It wasn't a weird hobby, it just seemed like an expensive one.
Joey let out a yelp, feeling a slender finger tap on his shoulder, scaring him and causing him to almost drop the chocolate. He gripped it tighter, making sure he didn't, and turned his head to look behind himself. He blinked in confusion when he saw it wasn't Seto, instead it was a fairly tall girl, her hair a bright fiery red and a deep brown. She smiled at him, narrowing her eyes as she looked over him.
"Can I help you?" Joey questioned, finding the girl to be kind of creepy. She giggled at his question, smiling more at him and trying to look into his eyes. Okay, who was this creepy chick?
"As a matter of a fact," She responded. "You can. I need something, and if I don't get it, I'm afraid I'll become very upset." Joey furrowed his eyebrows together, weird. She was talking in a strange voice, the kind that you would make as if you were reading words off a script and you had no talent in acting. What did she want?
"Okay..." Joey mumbled, still holding the dragon chocolate in his hands. "What is it?" The girl moved closer, her smile becoming smaller as she moved a hand and placed it on his shoulder.
"I need your number." Joey's eyes widened.
"Excuse me?"
"I'll give you mine if you give me yours." Joey didn't know how to respond to this, who the hell just walked up to someone and asked for your number?
"Why?"
"I think you're cute, does there really have to be a reason?" She pouted, looking left and right for a moment. "I guess you need to know my name first?"
"Well, it would make more sense to introduce yourself then to randomly ask for my number." Joey grumbled under his breath, looking to the chocolate in his hands. Why was he still holding this? He turned his eyes back to the girl, watching as she placed a hand on her hip and placed the other on her upper body near her collarbone.
"My name is Stacy." She told him. "My friend Veronica tried to get me a man, but it didn't work because one; he was totally not my type, and two; he was already dating someone." Joey felt his eye twitch, did he need to know that last part? It just made her seem desperate...
"Well, that's too bad..." Joey responded. "Listen, I have to find-"
"But you haven't told me your name or your number yet."
"Why do I need to?"
"Because you're cute, and I know that we would totally get along."
"Uh huh..." Joey was disgusted, should he just tell her that he was gay? It would make her leave him alone, but she might think it was a coverup and refuse to leave. Either way he saw it, he couldn't escape this chick!
He looked at Stacy, finding her eyes leaving him for a moment before they widened. He opened his mouth to ask what was wrong, before he felt an arm go around his waist and jerk him possessively toward a warm chest. Joey let out a yelp, placing his hand instinctively on the torso. He looked up, about to question who it was, before his mouth ran dry and his face began to light up.
"Is something going on over here?" Seto questioned coldly, staring down at the girl. Stacy blinked in shock, not knowing what to do now.
"Hey!" Joey growled, feeling embarrassed. "Let me-" Seto placed his free hand over Joey's mouth, silencing him and sending a warning glare to his honey colored eyes. Joey quickly got the message, okay shutting up! Seto removed his hand, turning his eyes back to Stacy.
"Well?" He spat out, wanting an answer out of the girl. Stacy glared at him, opening her mouth.
"Stacy!" A feminine voice yelled, making Stacy freeze instantly. Seto rose an eyebrow, seeing a familiar girl and watching her run up to Stacy, panting as she placed her hands on her knees. She looked up, pouting as she locked her eyes with Stacy. "Don't run off like that! I got really worried!"
"I told you where I was going though." Stacy told her, narrowing her eyes at the girl as if she was trying to glare at her. The girl glared, making the other girl's glare seem like nothing as she stood up straight.
"You left me at the bathroom, again!" She yelled, causing some onlookers to stare at them. "Honestly, what am I going to do with you?" She looked behind Stacy. "What? Did you see some cute boys or-" She froze, looking at Seto with wide eyes. "Y-You!" Seto looked to Joey, noticing how he looked confused about the whole situation now. He shrugged, looking to the girl.
"Me." Seto spoke blankly. Stacy darted her eyes between the girl and Seto, not knowing what to say.
"You two know each other?" Stacy questioned, making the girl nod.
"Yeah, it's the boy I told you about."
"Wait, him?"
"Yeah."
"But you said he was dating someone, V!" V turned her eyes to where Seto's arm was located. She smiled and giggled.
"I did, and he is."
"No, he isn't. If he was, then where's his girlfriend?"
"It's not a girl."
"Huh?" Stacy and Joey uttered out, both of them becoming confused. Joey was confused due to the fact that they said that Seto was dating someone, now he was even more confused. It's not a girl? Who was he dating then?
"See?" V pointed at Seto's arm, making Stacy move her eyes to it. Her eyes widened, her face becoming red as she began to utter out gibberish. She turned away, looking to the exit.
"Whatever!" Stacy yelled out, crossing her arms and heading to the exit. V looked to her, beginning to freak out as she began to leave.
"W-Wait!" She began to chase after her, only to stop and turn back to Seto. "S-Sorry about that, I don't know what to do with her." Seto shrugged again.
"It's fine, but you might need new friends." V smiled at that, giggling.
"Everyone says that." V looked at Seto, turning her head to Joey, before turning it back. "You two look cute together, by the way!" Seto smiled, while Joey blushed in confusion, huh? "Bye!" She waved, turning and running after her friend.
"Well, that was interesting." Seto spoke, slight amusement hinted in his voice. He turned his head to Joey. "Don't you-" He stopped mid-sentence, finding Joey to be glaring at him harshly.
"Why you..." He growled, making Seto slightly scared for once. He jerked around, trying to get Seto to release him. "What the hell was that all about?!" Seto quickly released him, making Joey fall onto the floor in response.
Joey cringed as he fell, landing on his butt and making him groan. Great, just what he needed. He looked up, Seto staring down at him. He glared at him once more, he has a lot of explaining to do.
"What did she mean when she said that you were dating someone?" Joey growled, moving himself back up to be on level with Seto. Well, not exactly on level, he was still shorter, but that was beside the point. Seto smirked at him, trying to gain some control over the situation.
"Why, are you jealous?"
"Jealous?!" Joey yelled, making some people turn to look at him for a moment. "The only one being jealous is you, Mr. Grab-Around-Waist-Man!" Seto turned his eyes away, somewhat surprised that Joey would figure out that he was jealous. Was it obvious that he was? He had seen Stacy from far away, noticing how she had touched his shoulder, and had instantly became angry.
"Can you blame me?" Seto spoke calmly, making Joey look at him in confusion.
"Huh?"
"When the person you like is being flirted with by another person," He turned his eyes back around to Joey. "Can you really blame me for becoming jealous?" Joey felt his face become bright red, huh?! He knew that Seto liked him, but he had never told him! He felt his mouth become dry, his heart beginning to race against his will. This was weird, but did he hate it?
"Hey, you're crushing that box." Seto said, pointing at the object in Joey's hand. Joey returned to reality, looking down at the box and gasping before he stopped and placed it back down near the chocolate wall. Seto turned his eyes to it, raising an eyebrow.
"Did you want that?" Seto asked, already knowing the answer before Joey could answer. Joey chuckled awkwardly, trying to calm himself down.
"No, I was just looking at it." Joey looked at the chocolate, smiling at it. "It's cool, isn't it? How detailed it is." Seto glanced at it, smiling and nodding in agreement.
"It's fascinating, that's for sure." He moved his eyes back to Joey. "I'm surprised you would be interested in fancy chocolate." Joey chuckled, looking back to Seto.
"Hey, I can respect good handiwork." He smiled, gaining a smile back from the royal. He felt his heart skip a beat, great. He looked away, wanting to calm his heart down before he felt his stomach rumble, loudly. Seto burst out laughing, scaring Joey and making him blush in embarrassment.
"H-Hey!" Joey yelled, his face flushed. "Don't laugh at me!" He pouted, not knowing how rare a thing this was to see Seto laugh. Seto didn't know why he had started laughing, it was just despite the fact that they had already eaten plenty of times that day, he was hungry again, and it was simply hilarious on how he could hear the teen's stomach. Really, how rare was that to hear someone's stomach do that?
"Sorry." Seto laughed, trying to calm himself down. "A-Are you..." He chuckled, taking a deep breath and wiping a tear from his eye. "Are you hungry?" Joey glared at him.
"Now you're just making fun of me!"
"Are you hungry?"
"You know I am you little-. Hey, don't start laughing at me again!"
()()()()()()()()()()()
"Do we have to go?"
"Would you rather spend more time with me?"
"It would be better than going back to school..."
"School is over for the day."
"Huh?!" Joey yelled, surprised as the limo pulled up in front of them. Seto smiled at him, raising his wrist to reveal the watch he hadn't taken off. Joey's eyes widened, it was around four in the afternoon! How long had they been together?!
After the candy store, all they did was go eat and look at the remanding stores, it shouldn't have taken them so long! He looked to Seto, watching him go up to the front of the limo, the man who drove it stepped out, only to be stopped by Seto who appeared to be telling him something. He nodded in response, getting back in the limo as Seto made his way back over to Joey.
"What'd you tell him?" Joey asked, confused at the fact that the man got back in the limo without letting them in. Seto smiled, grabbing at the limo door and opening it.
"I told him we could let ourselves in." Seto gestured to the door. "After you." Joey's eyes widened, his cheeks becoming pink as he made his way into the limo, getting down on his knees and crawling to the seat to sit down. He waited, looking to the door to see Seto step inside, kneeling down as well and closing the door behind himself. He lifted himself slightly, walking over while crouching to the seat and sitting beside Joey.
So that's how he did it, Joey thought, and he told me to crawl. He pouted, looking to the curtain covered window. He had fun today, surprisingly. Seto had been flirty with him and he made him slightly irritated, but other than that he had fun with the guy. Also, he hadn't called him any weird nicknames, so that helped, but at the same time it kind of made him sad.
"Seto." Joey spoke softly, narrowing his eyes at the window. Seto's eyes widened, his face turning red as he turned his head to look at Joey.
"What did you say?" Seto questioned, not believing what he had heard. He didn't remember a time where Joey had ever said his name, did he say his name?
"Seto." Joey repeated, turning his head to look at the royal. "I said your name, now say mine." Seto furrowed his eyebrows together.
"What?"
"You haven't said the weird nickname or my name the entire time." Joey explained. "We've just been talking to each other and knowing that we were, we haven't-"
"Joey." Seto whispered, interrupting him softly. Joey blinked in shock, before he processed the word and began to blush.
"Uh-"
"Joey." He repeated. "Mutt." Joey opened his mouth to say something, only to be interrupted again. "Joey. Joey."
"Y-You can stop now!" Joey yelled, his heart threatening to break free from his ribcage. "I didn't say you had to repeat it!"
"Repeat mine now."
"Huh?!"
"Do it."
"Why?!"
"Because I want you to." Seto told him, smiling. "You told me to say your name, so you say mine now." Joey gulped, nodding in response, that kind of made sense.
"Seto." The royal smiled.
"Joey."
"S-Seto..."
"Joey."
"This is weird!" Joey blurted out, moving his hands up to cover his burning face. Seto grabbed at his hands, moving them down to the seat and looking down at the blond.
"It's not weird." Seto said softly, his words coaxing Joey to look up. Honey locked with ice blue, the two staring at each other as if they were in their own little world.
"Why isn't this weird to you?" Joey whispered, breaking their locked gaze to look at their hands. Seto's hands were holding his down, and he wasn't caring, this was weird...This was so weird! Seto moved his forehead to Joey's, making him tilt his head back up.
"I told you." Seto spoke, his voice in a deep whisper. "I like you, remember?" Joey thought he was going to die, his heart was beating faster than the speed of light, his face was threatening to catch on fire, his mouth was a desert. How do you respond to something like this anyway?! He turned his eyes away, hoping that Seto didn't notice how nervous he was. How could someone not though? The royal smiled, moving his lips up to kiss the blond on the forehead.
"I had fun, Joey." He said, smiling as his lips stayed on his forehead. "Thank you." Joey's eyes widened, shouldn't that be his line?! Why was this guy making him feel like this?! He gulped, feeling himself move without his consent. He wrapped his arms around Seto's back, allowing the adviser to place an arm around him, while placing a hand on his head to hold him close.
"That's my line...Seto."
:So...Yeah. Okay let me explain why this was long as hell! The reason this chapter is long because I found that I never give this couple any screentime (or writingtime...whatever...) so I thought if I made this long it would be better, even though it took ages to write! Also I will say I have been in a limo, it isn't a big deal, it's just an over sized car with some couches and the ability to drink, whoopee advanced cup holders for the win! Also the fragrance hell happened to me in elementary school (like every bad thing) when my dad dragged me through the perfume section of the mall's clothing store to get to the men's clothing section. I could have sworn I almost died. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this long chapter, please review!:
