A/N: Hello my lovelies!

So I appear to be struggling slightly with focusing on writing, I have a couple of ideas where I intend on taking this, but other than that, I really could do with some suggestions! Pretty Please?

Dinner was fairly uneventful, the boys sat with the Weasley twins and were filled in on all the family news they'd missed, other than Ron and Hermione having Rose and another one on the way, there was nothing Harry had actually kept up to date with, so finding out that George had married Angelina last year was a bit of a shock, finding out Angelina was pregnant too made Harry realize how much he's been missing out on by not making the effort to stay in contact with the Weasleys, after all, it wasn't only Ron who was his friend. Harry vowed that after Christmas, he'd pay a visit to Molly and Arthur, they'd been his family growing up, he really shouldn't have abandoned them when he couldn't cope, he should have turned to them for help.

Looking around the Great Hall after their meal, Harry realized how few students had actually stayed at Hogwarts over the holidays, there were perhaps 25 Students on the Gryffindor table, a combination of all 4 houses, but looking around, no other table was occupied other than the staff table, which only held 6 members of staff at the moments, obviously, things at Hogwarts had changed too, and looking at the Slytherins and Hufflepuffs getting along, it was for the better.

Looking along the staff table there were 2 who Harry didn't recognize, McGonagall was sat in what Harry still thought of as Dumbledore's chair, Professor Hooch was sat to her left, chatting with the 2 unknown staff members, Professor Flitwick was sat to her right, and next to him was Hagrid, who was watching Harry with a big grin on his face.

Turning to Draco, Harry murmured "I'm going to go and speak with Hagrid, if I'm not back soon, I'll meet you in the owlery" and with a gentle squeeze of his hand and a shy smile, Harry got up and headed to the staff table. Draco's confusion at his lack of affection soon cleared when he realized they really haven't been out in public together much, other than the occasional trip to the pub, and that's not the same as being watched by all your school teachers and everyone who knows your name. Thinking about it, Draco couldn't blame Harry for being a little bit more reserved than normal.

After 20 minutes of Harry and Hagrid chatting, Draco had gotten bored of waiting, deciding he was going head up to the owlery, standing up he saw McGonagall beckoning him over. Seeing no reason he could possibly have to worry, he wasn't a child doing something wrong after all, he headed over to McGonagall, stopping in front of her seat on the desk.

"Come and join me along here Mr Malfoy, I'd like to have a little informal chat" walking away from the rest of the staff, McGonagall took a seat on one of thelast 2 seats on the large table, indicating for Draco to take the other.

"Now I know a lot has changed in the years since you have left school, I can see that from the way you're acting, and I'm aware of all the work you've put into righting your family name, but none the less, you are still a Malfoy, your family has been through a lot, I just want to make sure that you are not using Harry as a way to further clear your name, being associated with him I imagine will do wonders for your family."

"I am also aware that he is now working and living with you, is that correct?"

Draco's shock and disbelief took a moment to clear, shaking his head a little to clear it he tried to put as much sincerity into his words as he could manage "You are correct, Harry and I live together most of the time, and work together in my shop, but you are mistaken in thinking that he is just a way to make myself seem better, we live in Muggle London, I don't believe the wizarding world even knows about us until today, and I'm hoping you don't feel the need to write to the prophet with this news. I honestly did not ever expect this to happen between us but I can say I have never been happier, I love him professor."

McGonagall nodded just slightly, " Very well, I am glad to hear it, I just thought I had best check out the situation, I have been watching you both throughout the evening and I must say Harry does seem to be very happy with you, I hope you stay this way."

Without waiting for a response McGonagall stood up and walked away, leaving Draco a little shocked, looking around he found Harry watching him, his facing lighting up when he sees he's been noticed. Draco heads over, not caring that Hagrid's still chatting away to Harry, apparently not noticing Harrys wavering attention.

Hagrid did however notice Draco's arrival, looking up and nodding slightly "I hope your takin' good care o' ma boy Malfoy"

All Draco could do was nod, not sure how to respond to Hagrid, instead turning to Harry "I'm going to head up to the owlery, I'll see you up there shortly?"

"Actually Hagrid I'm going to head up towards the owlery, I believe there's an owl there waiting for me to give her a name, I'll catch up with you again tomorrow" turning to Draco he smiles and murmurs "come on, let's go and meet my new owl"

The boys spend most of the evening in the owlery, admiring Harry's new Eagle Owl and trying to come up with a suitable name for her. After much debate and no success, Harry figured that the perfect name will present itself in time, for now, she'll simply be known as beauty, as she truly is a beautiful owl.

9pm finds the boys walking hand in hand back towards the Gryffindor dormitory, Draco stifling a yawn as they head back, both ready to simply settle into bed and hold each other close.
