Hey guys thanks for the reviews!

Sorry it's been so long, but school is finally over!

Rpov:
"Fuck!" I screamed out for the millionth time. I groaned once again as my body slammed against the side of the boat. They had managed to pull me a little bit up, but I was getting hit more often; especially when the captain began to steer the boat towards the current.

Unfortunately for me that meant the boat had to be dragged around with little control, meaning bruises for my body.

As we got closer and the waves got more powerful, the captain finally began to use full force and thrusted the boat forward along a large wave.

Closing my eyes tightly and wrapping my body along the rope, I held on as we surged forward with the boat rocking wildly side to side.

I grit my teeth when my body was once crashed against the side of the boat multiple times.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me," I muttered, but my voice wasn't heard over the waves and wind.

Slowly, I drifted into unconsciousness, my grip slowly loosening.

Dpov:

I tossed and turned in bed all night; I couldn't sleep.

Usually I can't sleep without Rose by my side and the years when I first lost her was hell. But this time was different; something felt off. But I wasn't sure what.

Trying to ignore the uneasiness in my stomach, I turned over on my back, staring up at the ceiling.

I wonder if something is wrong with-

I cut myself off. I refuse to think about Rose being in trouble. She promised me that she'll come back alive and I have faith in her. She's escaped death many times; she'll be fine.

As the thoughts repeatedly swirled through my mind, trying to convince myself, Naira's cries filled the room. Glad for the distraction, I heaved myself up and headed to Naira's room.

Hoisting up Naira to my chest, I gently whispered in Russian to her, calming her down.

She sniffled and rubbed face with tiny fists then settled against my chest.

She yawned as she calmed down and her eyes began to droop.

"There you go," I whispered, walking out of her room and back to mine.

I carefully lay down with her on my chest. With a big sigh I closed my eyes, letting myself drift off to sleep with Naira's soft snores.

Rpov:

I heard the most annoying sound ever; a constant beeping that wouldn't shut up, already making my ringing ears hurt more. To make matters worse, I feel a white blinding light on the other side of my eyelids.

I groaned as I shifted lightly, stopping immediately when my head started pounding.

"Someone turn off the fucking light," I growled, failing in opening my eyes.

Then I paused, slightly opening. "Or am I dead?" I mused out loud, trying to move.

I heard a faint chuckling and the blinding light turned to darkness.

Finally I snapped my eyes open and was met with a ceiling.
Slowly, I took everything in. with the faint rocking, I figured we're still on board. The light was the sun and the curtains have covered them.

I was in the boat's infirmary. The annoying beeping was my heart; fortunately the annoying sound hasn't stopped, well unless I was connected to it.

I looked down at my body; which was covered with oversized clothing and gauzes throughout my body. There was even a sling on one of my arms where it kept crashing into the boat.

"You have a slight fracture on your shoulder,"

I turned towards the voice; Adrian was sitting in a corner, with Sydney's head on his lap and body lying on two chairs.

"What happened?" I croaked out, wincing as I sat up.

I looked towards my right and gasped.

Abe was lying down in the bed next to me.

"What happened?" I asked frantically as I took in Abe.

"Relax, he's just sleeping. He crashed beside you when you were brought in."

I relaxed and he threw a water bottle at me, hitting my stomach.

I flinched as it came in contact.

I growled and glared daggers at him, about to throw it back at him when Sydney stirred.

She sat up groggily, and then snapped up when she saw that I was awake.
"Rose!" she exclaimed.

I waved her off before the questions came.
"I'm fine, just a few minor injuries."
She rolled her eyes. "There's a cup of water next to you," she said; gesturing towards table beside me.

Glaring at Adrian, I threw the bottle at him, hitting him square in the face.

He groaned loudly, hissing as he grabbed his cheek.

Abe stirred and rolled over, facing me.

He opened an eye and stared at me. He looked at me head to toe then towards Adrian. With another glance at me, he rolled over to the other side, pulling the blanket over his head, grumbling about more sleep.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed another water bottle, throwing it at him.

It hit him below his neck and he twitched, his body jerking with the sudden impact.

He sighed loudly, throwing the blanket off of him and rolling over to meet my gaze.

"How are you feeling kiz?" he asked.

I rolled my eyes once again. "Fine,"

"Then let me sleep," he said, closing his eyes.

I shook my head and turned to Sydney.

"What happened?" I asked loudly, hoping to disturb him. The following grunt made me smile in satisfaction at my success.

"You passed out right when we were able to pull you up without one of us falling in the water. After three hours, we finally made it to safety." Adrian then frowned. "Then the boat finally had enough; it broke down. We spent two days out here trying to fix the motor. It's back up and running since," he paused, checking his watching. "Ten minutes ago."

I sighed, everything finally hitting me. "We're going home," I said quietly.

He nodded. "Well to the warehouse or something to drop off the supplies, but yes we're going home."

I restrained the eye roll that threatened to come out, but not the smile. I was going to see Dimitri and my kids soon.

Then I grimaced.

My body was banged up and I knew that the second I'm standing up I will be in a lot of pain. I'll probably feel slightly better when we arrive, but truth is it won't be enough. Dimitri will be angry, that's for sure.

After Sydney and Adrian rolled out my father to his room, I finally relaxed and laid back down on the bed, after a few painful moments, and fell back asleep; dreading and anticipating our arrival.

I stumbled out onto the dock, trying to wipe out the sleep in my eyes. It was dawn and we arrived later than expected, but at early; we arrived at dawn. Since we didn't know how long it was going to take, when we were going to get back, and assuming if we were, despite the engine failing; I didn't bother calling Dimitri or setting a time.

"Can I crash at your place tonight?" I asked Adrian, turning around. "I'll sleep on your couch and I'll be out of your home by" I paused, checking the time. "The time I wake up." I finished.

It was currently four in the morning.

Adrian shrugged. "Sure; no problem."

I nodded gratefully and we trudged towards one of Abe's cars.

I closed my eyes the minute I slid into the seat and rested my head against the cool glass.

When I reopened my eyes when I felt the car stopped, I was surprised to see that we weren't in front of the Ivashkov's luxurious home.

I turned towards Adrian who had a sheepish look on his face.

"Did I ever mention that I had moved?"

I gaped at him. "Why didn't you ever tell me?"

He shrugged. "I forgot."

I looked towards the simple small one story home where Sydney was currently unlocking the door.

"What happened?" I asked softly.

He sighed. "My dad kicked me out, but I guess it was a good thing. Sydney and I have our privacy and I no longer have to deal with their disappointment. Seventy five percent of my inheritance was frozen thanks to my parents. My mother will 'unfreeze' the account once she sees that I'm stable economically and emotionally," he says, gesturing towards Sydney.

We get out of the car and we slowly walk through the driveway.

"The money Sydney and I make is what we're mostly depending on," he finishes.

I absorb it all. "Wow," was all I could say.

He chuckles softly and shrugs as we walk in. "Good way to grow up and mature," he says, faking excitement. "Money's going to be tight for a while."
I frown. Why would,

"Welcome to our currently empty home." Sydney said; gesturing around the vacant home, save for a few boxes and very little furniture; close to nothing. "Sorry but we only have mattresses for now," she said, almost sheepishly.

I wave her off. "I used to sleep in a cot during the hottest days with the nonexistent wind being my AC. I could handle a night on a mattress."

They nod and they gesture me towards their room.

There is only one mattress against the wall.

"I'll sleep on the floor." Adrian suggested.

No one argued; we were too tired.

With a pillow and a blanket, Adrian fell asleep.

Doing the same, we did the same against the mattress, with Sydney slipping an arm around me.

Soon, sleep consumed us.

I groaned, rolling over to face the wall.

"I'm buying you curtains so you can block out the sun." I muttered.

I heard a low chuckle.

"What time is it?" I asked, finally sitting up as I couldn't get back to sleep.

"It's about one." he said.

I turned to him, frowning.

"I got to get home." I said, standing up.

"Do you need a ride?" he asked, sitting up.

I looked down at Sydney's still sleeping form and shook my head.

"I'll figure something out."
"I'll call you a cab." He said, already dialing.

"Thank you Adrian, for everything," I said sincerely.

He smiled softly. "Anytime Rose."
Untangling myself from the sheet, I quietly made my way to the front.

Adrian joined me a few minutes later outside, closing the door behind him.

"Sydney's still asleep." He commented as he leaned against the door.

I smiled. "Take care of her Ivashkov."

He nodded seriously.

I looked up when a yellow cab pulled up.

"My ride's here." I said, pulling away from the wall.

I hugged Adrian tightly.

"I mean it Adrian, thank you."

He hugged me back just as tightly and let me go home to Dimitri and my kids.

It was about two in the afternoon when I showed up at the house.

No one was home.

I frowned slightly, but took the opportunity to get cleaned up; I still had last night's clothes.

I stripped off, eager to get in the shower. The small cramped up bathroom in the boat was crap.

I sighed contentedly as the hot water poured over my muscles.

As I showered, I pondered over what Dimitri's reaction will be.

After twenty minutes, I turned the water off. I quickly dried off and slipped on my fluffy robe. I opened the door and entered the bedroom, pausing when I heard thundering footsteps on the stairs. I jumped a little when the door was burst open and strong thick arms wrapped around me, swinging me around. As I was set down, lips came down crashing onto mine.

I melted into his hold as I gave him entry.

Finally pulling away, I looked up into Dimitri's dancing eyes.

"You came back," he whispered.

I grinned and nodded, placing my hand on his cheek. He leaned against it, placing a kiss on the palm of my hand.

"You're home early," I commented.

"Abe showed up at the office." He explained, grinning.

I smiled. "Max and Naira?" I asked, sliding my leg up against his.

His eyes darkened and he clenched his jaw. "With Andre at Lissa's." he said, his arm snaking around my waist to pull me up against him.

I pretended to ponder this. "What time do you think they'll be back?" I asked, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Enough time for me to give my girlfriend a proper welcome home." He said huskily before crashing his lips on mine hungrily.

His hands roamed down my body until they grasped my thighs, hoisting me up on his hips. He growled as his hands went under my robe and found no underwear.

I gasped and clenched my thighs unconsciously as his fingers ghosted over me.

"How the hell are you already so wet?" he gasped out, trailing his lips down my neck.

I couldn't answer. I wasn't able to.

Instead, I yanked off his tie and began working on his pants when he tugged at my robe. In seconds, it was pooled around our feet.

"Bed," I gasped out.

He responded by walking backwards until the edge hit the back of his knees.

I pushed him down and he sank down at the edge of the bed with me straddling him.

"I've missed you," he whispered, skimming his lips across my jaw.

I moaned softly. "I've missed you too."

With a small grin, he took me to bed.

When I reemerged from my second shower with Dimitri in tow, there was a constant knocking on the door.

I pursed my lips. "Lissa," was all I said as I headed for the door, hearing Dimitri's quiet chuckle.

When I opened the door, pale skinny arms automatically wrapped around me tightly with a loud squeal.

"Rose!"

I groaned. "You're making me deaf," I complained, hiding my grin as I tightly hugged Lissa back.

She pulled away, smacking my arm.

Me, being the mature adult I am, stuck out my tongue at her.

She rolled her eyes and stepped inside as Max got Naira out of the car.

I automatically wrapped Max tightly in a hug.

"You have no idea how much I've missed you." I whispered.

He stood tense but finally eased up, giving me a tight hug.

When I pulled away, there was surprise in his eyes. I rolled my eyes at that.

"You know I consider you a son." I huffed.

He chuckled and I turned to get Naira, who was passed onto Dimitri when I attacked Max.

"Hi baby girl," I whispered, cradling her in my arms.

She gurgled at me, giving me a gummy smile.

I laughed as her eyes twinkled as she held onto me. Even as I tried to push my hair back, she had a firm grasp on my shirt.

"She really missed you," Dimitri said, wrapping an arm around Max and me as he led us inside.

I looked around as Lissa stepped out of the bathroom.

"Where's Christian and my nephew?" I asked, frowning.

"Andre fell asleep and Christian said he would stay with him. He says hi." She added.

I snorted. "I'm sure."

She rolled her eyes. "Oh shut up. You'll see him later today."

I smiled. "Coffee at my place?"

"Just like old time," she chuckled, getting her purse. "Except everyone's invited."
"We should have a bonfire." Max piped up. "We could set it up in the backyard; they'll be more space."

I pondered this. "I like that idea; a new and old tradition forming."

Lissa grinned. "It's settled; I'll come around eight."

I nodded, giving her a tight hug as I walked her out.

"I'll see you later Rose."

With that, she was gone.

"Well, then, who wants to get take out and watch a movie?" I said, turning towards my family.

"Come on Naira, come here." I repeated over and over again, encouraging her to let go of large pot that contained a fake plant.

She babbled away, looking at me and at the floor; her face full of confusion and uneasiness.

"Come to Daddy, Naira," Dimitri encouraged softly behind me.

I frowned and smacked Dimitri's leg as she listened to him and took one step, but not yet fully letting go of the plant.

"Guess we all know who the favorite parent is." Christian smirked.

I glared and rolled my eyes at him as Dimitri smirked.

We were currently on our floor in the office and we had brought Naira and Max. However, Naira decided to take a few steps and decided it was enough for today when everyone wanted to see.

I growled, frustrated while Dimitri chuckled.

He bent down next to me and held his arms wide open, while Max came to stand in between us.

I glowered at Dimitri. "Come here, Naira, come to mommy," I said, my voice high pitched as I tried to encourage.

Soon Dimitri and I both began chanting over and over again and finally began her first steps.

"You better be recording this, Lissa." I said.

"I think we all are," she grinned.

I didn't look up for confirmation; I was a little busy trying to convince my daughter to choose me over her father.

She faltered slightly, but quickly regained her balance, sending us excited smiles at her unsteady steps. Yet she made it unclear to where she was headed towards.

Right as she was in between us, she suddenly stumbled quickly to Max, who picked her up in shock and happiness.

"And the older brother wins!" Ivan shouts, snickering.

I huffed, but smiled as I stood up. "She does adore Max." I said, smiling up at him, who grinned down at Naira as she excitedly babbled away.

"Happy birthday to you!" I began, walking out with the cake.

"Happy birthday to you!" everyone else joined in. "Happy birthday dear Naira, happy birthday to you!"

I grinned as she clapped, giving a toothy grin as the cake was placed in front of her with a small number one candle.

Dimitri went crazy with the camera; always taking pictures of everyone, especially his little girl.

I grinned, laughing as Naira practically spit all over the cake in trying to blow out the candle.

"Gross," Christian said, wrinkling his nose.

I snorted. "At least my kid didn't throw up on his cake," I shot back, grinning.

He huffed, but laughed anyways as he no doubt remembered his son's last birthday.

There was no cake that day.

Lissa groaned from Christian's side. "Do you really have to bring in our kids to your banter?" she asked, huffing.

Christian and I looked at each other. "Yes," we said at the simultaneously.

She rolled her eyes and we smirked at each other.

"Cake!" Naira giggled, her hand coming down at the cake, leaving a hold in the middle of the hole.

I groaned. "I wanted cake," I pouted slightly as Dimitri came next to me, chuckling as he took pictures of the whole thing.

He was going overboard, and Max wasn't exactly helping either as he videotaped everything.

"I bought an extra one in case." Dimitri said, wrapping an arm around me.

I frowned and looked up at him. "Why?" I asked.

How the hell did he know?

"Cause she's your daughter," he muttered, jogging towards Naira as she covered her face with cake.

I glared at him as he sent me a wink.

Before the accident, we had celebrated my birthday in the office.

The night ended with a ruined cake and a lot of work for the janitors….

By ten o'clock, most people have left, except for the gang.

"she enjoyed it today," Jill grinned, looking as Dimitri carried a passed out Naira in his arms.

I snorted, chuckling a little bit. "I hope so," I said, grinning. Then I grimaced. "It's going to be a bitch to give her a bath tomorrow."

She had refused to take a bath and had fallen asleep before I was able to carry her upstairs.

They chuckled.

"she seemed to love the cake." Adrian snickered.

I glared. "Yeah,"

"She still hasn't said mama?" Sydney asked, smirking slightly.

"Nope," Dimitri said, coming back outside.

I pushed him slightly.

"She hasn't said dada or daddy either," I shot back.

"She's said Max," Max piped up.

I crossed my arms over my chest and stuck my tongue out at him.

"She's said everything except for those words." I grumbled.

"She'll come around." Dimitri said, pulling me to his chest.

"I hope so," I grumbled.

"Dada!" Naira cheered from her booster.

Our heads whipped towards her as she laughed, eating her cheerios.

"What did she say?" Dimitri asked, starting to grin.

I grumbled under my breath as he laughed, trying to coax her to say it again.

"Mama!" she said instead.

I began to grin and shot him a look.

"She said dada first," he smirked.

I rolled my eyes and soon she was chanting mama and dada repeatedly.

I scooped her up in my arms and laughed as she continued.

"Mama loves you," I cooed at her, tickling her sides as she squirmed, giggling.

Dimitri couldn't seem to stop smiling, wrapping an arm around us.

"Hopefully she'll stick to it," I said.

He nodded.

However, Max was soon added to her gurgling.

I loved my family.

I clutched Dimitri's arm as we walked down a cobble stoned path, laughing as we recalled memories.

Silence soon engulfed us as we grew quiet.

Dimitri had taken me out on a date while Max stayed with Naira. It took a while for me to agree seeing as I worried too much. However, with Max's help and reassurance to call for anything, Dimitri finally convinced me.

He had taken me to dinner and we took a walk after, which lead to where we are now.

We were walking down in a dimly lighted street where small shops and boutiques were further lit up the street, causing a serene mood. There was also a small band playing at the end of the street were few people gathered.

As we neared the music, Dimitri pulled to his chest, linking our hands.

I smiled up at him as we slowly danced around.

"I forgot you danced, Comrade." I said softly with a teasing tone.

He smirked and twirled me, pulling me to his chest once again. "I could show you my other moves," he breathed in my ear.

I shivered and he grinned smugly in response.

I rolled my eyes and smacked his chest.

Slowly, the music began to come to an end.

Right before the music ended, Dimitri spun me and let go.

Once I spun back around, I turned to face Dimitri, who was down on one knee.

I gasped; my jaw dropping.

"Roza, ever since you came into my life you've had a great impact. You've opened my eyes to see life in a different perspective. You've gave me a family; you're the love of my life. Will you do me the honor of officially becoming my wife and being by my side?" he asked; nervousness in his eyes.

"You would've been stuck with me either way," I finally answered, smiling through my tears.

He rolled his eyes at my answer, but grinned anyways. He slid the ring onto my finger and I stared at in awe. It was a medium sized diamond with two small jewels; our birthstones.

"It's beautiful." I whispered, wrapping my arms around him as he lifted me up, spinning me.

I squealed and laughed, holding onto him tightly.

"There's another ring that goes with it when we are officially married." He said, putting me down.

I smiled, holding my hand up to examine it.

"I can't wait." I said, kissing him.

Faintly, I heard a small crowd of people clapping and cheering.

But they faded away as I got lost into Dimitri.

I am so sorry for not updating any sooner. Even though school is over I have AP homework and I also have a summer job. I will be updating the epilogue and after that Wolf's Cry and Siren's sequel will be up shortly.
