Chapter Thirty Five

Gary left her in bed a day later, only leaving after he left the engagement ring on her finger as a silent message and staring at her breathing in her sleep for a few minutes. Gary tugged her hair gently with a scoff before turning around and leaving through the window. Ivy watched him leave out the opening, half-smiling, half-grimacing slightly to herself.

As if she wouldn't be aware of his movements after what happened.

She swiftly dressed in a baggy top and skirt, including an extra hooded top and her leather bomber jacket and her spar shoes, slinking her ring back onto its' chain. She even grabbed a normal grey cap, tying her hair up through the gap at the back of it swiftly.

Ivy kept an eye on him through the window, watching him walk into town and seeing him go left. Her eyes narrowed and she followed out the window, dashing after him, finding him relatively quickly, and getting in a decent enough range to trail him without noticing, she slowed down, head down, but eyes watchful and alert as she could be after five hours kip and a seriously tiring previous day.

He entered the bus station, getting on a bus headed into Wynnmere and she ducked around a corner in time for it to pass without the travellers inside seeing her but Gary was looking down at something in his hand. She went passed the café before stopping and entering it, looking around and noticing Choi with Vale and another unknown man.

Vale looked up at the newcomer before smiling widely and beckoning her over. "Ivy."

She pecked a kiss on his cheek as per normal. "Gramps. Hey, Choi." The bodyguard nodded at her, looking out the window once more.

"This is my number two, Leon." Vale presented him and she had to wonder at the attractive men she found around this place, muscular and tanned. He had such a handsome face with clear blue-green eyes, kind in appearance. "Leon, this is my granddaughter in law to be. Whenever that boy gets around to asking you." Ivy pulled out her necklace, ring sliding down as she did so and the Vale Businessman fingered it, looking appreciatively at it. "Good work. Let me guess, not so much asking as pushing?" He dropped it.

"I don't believe in marriage so I just keep it on me to keep him happy. It's not as though when I've decided to be with someone I need legal documents." Ivy tucked it back in with a wry grin, smiling at the waitress when she handed her a green tea with lemon. "Thanks, miss." She smiled at her before she went away and turned to the second in command politely. "It's nice to meet you Leon. Ivy Jones."

"Leon Delaware." He smiled kindly, eyes tinting heatedly. "A pleasure to meet you." He almost purred but looked towards his leader when the man shifted, stopping his flirtation when Vale narrowed his eyes, not wishing for any reason for her to leave them. "There're reports of a large group coming in."

Ivy interrupted calmly. "Mordred's, yes."

Leon's brows raised as he stared at her for her knowledge he'd only recently attained.

Vale sensed a story from her. "You've come in for a reason."

She blurted her story out, cutting out some private things, finishing with Gary now heading into Wynnmere.

Vale narrowed his eyes at the account, thoughtful and strategically making plans in his mind. "Leon, go with Ivy to Wynnmere and find out what he's doing. I'll let you two seconds get to know each other."

"Second? Naw, that's more Petey than me. I'm like Choi, a bodyguard. Planning isn't my thing."

"You'd do what he'd say though?" Leon asked with a grin.

"Sure, to a limit. Get's outta line I'll kick him back into it though," Ivy added thoughtfully.

Vale chuckled as Leon smirked, holding a hand out and he pulled her up. "Then you are like Leon. A second at the very least, perhaps even co-leader. Go."

The two nodded in unison and left, with Leon guiding her to a car near the café. It was sporty and that's all she knew about cars. Nothing overly flashy though, but enough to send out the 'I have money' message to onlookers. Ivy buckled herself in and paused when he handed her a pair of Glocks and gun holsters to put under her clothing. He gave a prompting nod and she unwillingly put it on under her jacket. He sped out of the space he'd parked in and Ivy had to hold on for dear life at the maniac driver whose laugh reverberated in the car loudly at her terrorised face.

"Slow down, you crazy bastard!" She yelped.

"Oh, go faster? Sure thing, sweetie! I get women telling me that all the time!"

"I don't care about that shit! Gah! Dodge!" She squeaked, fearing for her life and wishing she could drive and demand to take over as he just laughed. They hit Wynnmere in ten minutes flat, with Leon commenting it'd be a half an hour bus ride, so they'd probably arrived the same time as her wayward partner. "Oh goodness… Can I exit this machine of death yet?"

"I don't think you can exit your own body, Ivy."

"Yeah, yeah…" Ivy grumbled, looking out the window.

"Oh cheer up!"

Ivy sighed and then half grinned at him as he gave her a puppy look, looking out the window once more. "You know what he looks like?"

"Think so. I'll just look for a mini Vale." Leon shrugged peering out as he drove around slowly, huffing blonde hair out of his view.

"Good enough. Never been here before," She noted out loud. It had the loveliness of Ayrshire but seemed more artsy and the people a lot more eccentric in their clothing. "Nice place."

"There're lots of art shows around here," He informed her. "It's also got an art college around here for those into that stuff. They do all sort from fine art, to fashion to digital media to theatre stuff kind of courses. I actually went there before I joined this life. Needed the money. Vale wanted an artist for a painting, I was available. Then I just stuck here. I wanted to be a concept artist for video games but I'm happy here."

"Sounds great. Why didn't you stick with it?"

"Much too busy with these things. I also happen to be a good ambassador, so to speak. I draw as a way to relax now." He babbled on, turning a corner. "I'd like to draw you someday. You look like a fun person to draw. Anyway, I'm trying to hit the main drug dealing sections."

Unsure what to think about the drawing thing, she happily grasped onto the next part. "Yeah?"

"Yeah, this is a big drug area, what with nutty artists all over the place. Absinthe is popular here as well. I can see yaabaa being sold especially well, too," Leon went on, trying to spot him and then pointed out some men. "Those are some of our lower levels there. You can tell from the tigers. Obvious but, hey, there's one of your Jaguars too! Dreads, teals and oranges are a big show. The new colours have replaced the old black and purple. Is that Gary's favourite colors?"

"Teal is his. Orange is mine. Not the biggest fan of dreads though."

"They've been decreasing too. And you think you're not the second?" Leon chuckled as her red face as she muttered a 'shut the fuck up' at him grouchily. "Don't worry. I get it. You figured you were the bodyguard like you said early, so I'm guessing he holds the reins in the business we're in?"

"Yeah."

"But that's only it, hm?"

Ivy gave him an eyeing, shaking her head at his waggling brows, wondering if this was what it was like for people on the other end of her perverted little comments. "Yup. That's his thing, leading and plotting, while mine is fighting and keeping him safe, but anything else is equal. Political and personal aren't crossed and we keep it like that. Clearly defined boundaries and all that."

"You guys have it sorted out pretty damn good."

"Yeah well, we've had to sort it out. We've had our issues and sorted them out."

There was a quiet for a little while as they monitored the area.

"Is that him?" Leon spoke to her quietly, feeling certain it was.

Ivy quickly turned around and spied the familiar gait and back. "Yup. The fuck is he thinking?" She hissed when she saw him with a few non Jaguars, but obviously gang members, going into an abandoned building, looking somewhat like the tenements and the warehouse mixed together. "Are those Upton Crew? Or-"

"Mordred's. Upton people are much classier looking. So how good are you at fighting?"

"I was just about to ask you that," Ivy remarked, pulling out some black hand wraps as she'd run out of gloves for now, gotten rid of the last as she did with every pair. She slowly wrapped her hands up, glad for the Velcro to tie it up around her wrists. She may have to buy some more support items as these fit nicely. "So?"

"I can look after myself. I do MMA."

"Right, same. Ready to sneak in?"

Leon smirked widely at her, taking the keys out of the ignition. "A bit of excitement like this is usually out of my domain. Of course I am." The two swiftly got out of the car and followed. Leon pointed up to the side where ladder built up and seemed to extend into the large cargo hold area out back. "This used to be a fire station. Pretty sure it was, Scottie."

"Don't call me that. A fire station, huh?"

"Yes. C'mon." He trailed around the building, ducking under the windows and she followed suit. He watched as she tested the ladder, carefully going up a few steps. "Those Bullworth skirts are cute."

"You're the reason I'm going to start wearing shorts under my school skirts now. I'll let you explain that to my man, shall I?"

Leon looked a little edgy. "Please don't. If he's anything like Vale-"

"You can be assured he is." Ivy snickered quietly, climbing up the ladder and swiftly going up to the top, just as quickly losing all playfulness. Stupid man of hers… What was he thinking? No backup or anything. He hadn't contacted his… Ivy looked to the side and saw some Jaguars. Only about ten. Wasn't enough to keep her from blowing her lid, though. She and Leon looked at each other in consideration and then entered the door, noting they were on a walkway above the meeting down below. It was dirty in here and smelt somewhat of mould, but there was wide enough spaces it looked clean enough. Old fire hoses lines the walls as well as a broken down firetruck in the back and the lighting was bad, flickering in and out intermittently.

"That's one of the higher-ups of the Mordred's," Leon murmured near silently into her ear, crouching down with her behind the metal plating on the rails that stopped them falling off the walkway. "We can really hear from here."

Ivy looked down at Gary, listening as he spoke about information, feeding them lies mixed with very few, if any, truths. Mordred's were sucking up the betrayed grandson story as well as the information he gave them which seemed to match up with what they already had.

Leon watched on with her before exhaling in annoyed admiration. "He is like him," He whispered.

"Hm." She just wondered why Gary hadn't told them about this. She took her phone out, putting it on silent because if that went off holy shit would she feel like a fucking moron. She then noticed a text from Gary which, incidentally, informed her of Gary's plan to feed misinformation to the Mordred's and use them against themselves. Well, fuck. She put her phone away and continued to watch over him through a gap.

Her eyes narrowed when the door went.

"So you see-"

"My, my, my…" Sara Taylor walked in, wearing a lovely lavender business blazer and skirt and cream white blouse, and the sound of weapons being taken out quickly emerged. "I've just taken care of some Jaguars. Oh? The Smith boy? Now what would you be doing here?"

"Taylor."

"Michael."

"What are you here for?"

"Mainly for our deal." Sara chuckled to herself. "Yet, you see, I've my suspicions and they are realised as true. The Jaguars are part of the Tigers. This young man here will be the leader of them from what my young informer has said. I'm sure Vale will pay well for his release or for him not to die at least."

'Zoe.' Ivy took in Gary's tense expression and a buzz of adrenaline and rage pulsed in her. Fucking bitch. And these goddamn Upton's! She'd punch 'em down soon enough. She eyed the place, looking for ways to get down quickly. She was suddenly glad that this place was a fire station once. There were poles going down to the ground and some hanging ropes.

"Or we could just say we have him and kill him to hold it above him. One less minor gang leader, one less day of trouble," Michael said in boredom. "I've gotten all the information I need from him."

Sara hummed in thought, looking uncaring. "Either way, I've come to tell you we've gotten a few more businesses for you in exchange for more men."

Ivy could feel the finality in her voice and knew she had to make a move.

"More?" Leon hissed near silently in disbelief. "They're already nearing the thousand mark. Ivy? Ivy!" He hissed near silently as he watched her crawl away.

"Go to the other one." Ivy shifted away slowly, getting closer and closer to a pole and then stopping to listen in once again. She wanted to swear when Michael took a gun out and pointed it at Gary and Leon swiftly went down his poll causing a distraction, just before she did and she speedily disarmed Michael of his weapon, driving a knee into his stomach and using him as a shield before knocking him unconscious. She looked down at Gary sitting at the table and looking stunned at her being there. "Get up. Stay behind me." Her anger couldn't quite be covered.

"Iv-"

"Now! Fuck sake." She swore, kicking the chair at an oncoming member, getting him in the crotch and making him keel over painfully, and then kicked at another's ankle, pistolling a fist into his neck and letting him drop. Her partner eventually did as said after she dropped another two men and then backed him behind a couple of empty barrels, handing him one of her Glocks and an extra magazine. "Keep an eye out," She gritted out, ignoring his searching stare, wanting some information on her mood about his acts.

The next five minutes included a swift beat down on anyone that dare come near and Leon capturing Sara. Ivy sighed in exasperation, kicking the gangster getting up again. "Stay down, moron." There were a few Jaguars that had survived… or were just late to the party and they were in the corner, watching out the windows for any possible backup. An unconscious Jaguar was her next port of call and she ducked down next to him on one knee, shaking him. Wait… he seemed familiar. Wasn't this Lutz? Yeah, dreads and everything. She pat his face a bit harsher and he groaned awake, sitting up slowly.

"Boss?"

"Lutz. What happened?"

"Got knocked out is all." Lutz groaned again and she had to suppress the urge to immediately push him off when he leaned against her for support. "Oh man. I wasn't expecting that hit. Uh…" She lifted his chin, turning his head, not in the mood for stupid business and took in his eyes, then felt at the back of his head. "Boss?" He mumbled as he stared at her in confusion before his eyes flickered upwards.

"Only a nasty goose egg. You'll be fine." She stood up and bumped into Gary. Of course she did. Who else would Lutz be looking at when she was so near another man, touching him? "And you." She poked him, pushing him back and walking by him. "You'll be getting a fucking talking to later." She walked over to Leon, who was enjoying toying with a tied up Sara. "I see you're having fun."

Leon slunk an arm around her shoulder. "Nice right hook you have there, girlie."

A light went off in her pocket and she took her phone out, flipping it open. "Hello?"

"Ivy. What's the word?"

"Well…" She shrugged off Leon's arm, not noticing Gary's harsh scowling shove at the man for touching his woman, making Lutz flinch and raise his hands in defensive submission, and wandered off to a corner of the room and gave a short explanation as Gary took Leon away for his own 'explanation' which included vicious threatening with dismemberment should he try anything and mild beat down should he touch her again.

"Get that grandson of mine back here, granddaughter. Get Leon to bring Sara to the second headquarters base."

"I will." The phone clicked off and she shut it, moving back to them, pausing as she passed Sara to stamp on her hand, the gag in her mouth negating any loud sounds of pain.

Leon looked up as Ivy came up to him and Gary. "So?"

She leaned up to whisper in his ear, causing her male to sneer and give a vicious look to a warily nervous Leon, who seemed relieved to have her nearer to calm her man down though her nearness was currently the cause of his nearing death. "You're to take her back to the second headquarters base."

"And you?"

"We're to go see gramps."

"Right. C'mon then." He picked up a muffled arguing Sara, who wiggled with everything she had. "No point now. You threatened the death of Vale's grandson. Two people are very against it. I'm sure we could let them have fun with you." He chuckled darkly. Sara's eye caught the deadly glower Ivy had on her face and their eyes clashed for a second and she looked away quickly when Ivy sneered, wanting to crush this woman. Her and her fucking progeny. "Good woman."

.I.

Leon dropped them off, giving Ivy a wink. "Don't worry, doll."

"Yeah, I'm not. Thanks for the lift, Leon." Ivy looked behind her to a scowling Sara to the unconscious Mordred's higher up to Gary. "Time to go to gramps."

Gary snorted and got out the car, slamming the door with Ivy in swift pursuit as he went along the road and into the café after the car drove off.

Vale looked up from his reports as they entered his little upstairs back room, not looking happy. "Do you realise the mess you've made of things?" He said scornfully to his child's child. "Not only have we caused the Mordred's and the Upton's to go against us in one scoop, you've ruined our business links as well. This will set us back tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars."

"I've also given us a connection to the Roses."

'Another one? Really? Fucking really? How many people like this shitty area?' Ivy grimaced to herself.

Vale stilled, his brown eyes following him carefully. "Explain."

"I knew the two were both having deals with the Roses, a nice little tip I got from a few birdies I know," Gary explained, crossing his arms. "They requested Sara Taylor as an opening gambit to open and initiate trade lines with us. We give them her, and they'll be happy to barter with us." Vale looked a bit bemused, something Gary helped fill in. "Apparently she ruffled a few feathers in their little group and they want a piece of her."

"Where is she from?"

"I'm not sure."

"Anything else?"

"No."

Vale leaned back in his chair, leaving that be for now as it likely barely mattered. He had new avenues to explore now. Roses were twice the size of Mordred's, four times as big as the Tigers and could offer protection. Maybe even in exchange for cheaper yaabaa or heroin. "Nothing else you'd like to say?"

Gary didn't apologize like he knew Vale wanted him to, he gave more information.

"Some of the information of numbers was incorrect. Most of the Mordred's have moved away due to Roses taking over their old sections and there isn't as many as we'd thought. They're weak right now, and each of the leaders under their one boss are taking their turns trying to knock each other out and control each other's groups."

"Good. I'll send out hit groups. Gary, Ivy, are you up for a little more exercise?"

Ivy cocked her head as her partner looked at her intently, feeling annoyance in her at Gary's actions still that needed to be unleashed. "Sure."

.I.

"I cannot fucking believe you." Ivy collapsed back onto her bed, too tired to actually shout at him. "I thought you said they'd lied about their numbers?"

"I did. They had," Gary muttered, pushing her over and lying down next to her on his side, holding his head up with a hand, slinging an arm around her waist and shuffling them closer to each other. "If you were awake I would've taken you with me," He promised. "I'd have faked you being pregnant or some sob story like that."

"Whatever, gorgeous. Shoulda just woke me up," Ivy yawned into his chest. "I followed you anyway."

"What?"

"Don't you get that I have to look after you now?" Ivy said lazily, putting a hand behind her head and the other on her belly as she turned on her back. "As soon as you left the bed I was awake. Achy, but alert." She chuckled, feeling his smirk without him even having to move. With her free hand she pat his cheek with her fingertips. "Shut up with your smugness. Now explain yourself. How long was this planned?" Her eyes drifted shut, trying not to smile at the soft kisses trailing down her neck.

"A couple months. I had to let bits of information build up while you were out of the game. Let things build up in different ways. I've always got things running. Small or big." Gary informed her lazily, trailing a hand up and down her stomach, enjoying the involuntary shivers. "I haven't told Petey or Jimmy about today."

"You should've."

"It's hard enough just telling you and you're the closest person I've ever and will ever have gotten to in my life."

Ivy paused, not sure about bringing this up, before opening her eyes and giving him a dour look. "Not Katie?"

Gary didn't even stiffen up at the sound of her name coming from his woman's mouth, knowing this would come up eventually. "Least of all her. I planned things around her, never letting her know anything," Gary said grudgingly, glaring at the wall across from him. Thinking about her brought him in a grouchy mood. "She's not my life anymore. True, she once was but she was taken away and I've decided on you."

"That doesn't fill me with hope, my man." Ivy had felt the twangs of possessiveness then, grabbing his top and tugging him closer still.

"Decided on you for good," Gary smirked, kissing her neck again and enjoying her jealousy. It was rare he got to; stupid woman was much too happy a person to be overly jealous. "She's not coming back, and I especially won't take her back even if she did. She had her chance to visit me after I was unable to go to her as if I was quarantined or a prisoner expecting to escape and it's been a few years now so that ship has sailed. I didn't know where she was and she knew exactly where I was. If I'd have known where she was this would be very different. But it isn't and never will be and I'm fucking glad for it. Why the fuck should I bother with her after such inaction on her part? Plus the thought of her now sends me wanting to upchuck. Like I've said, I have the best now, why bother with something sub-class?" He started off his words lightly, but they soon became a rant that had his woman widely blinking at him before narrowing her eyes at the end.

"Such as Zoe?"

He habitually sneered at the name. "She's nothing. Not even sub-class."

"Better be," Ivy grumbled and then added to appease him when he gave her a look of expectation. "And those ex's of mine are as well, alright?" She said in feminine exasperation.

"Good. Now sleep."

.I.

"Once again; why do you get all the adventures?"

"Hush up, Jimmy boy." She passed him a tool in their Shop lesson on the eighth of May, a very nice Tuesday. "This one could have resulted in a lost leader. Fucking idiot." She looked over at him from her vantage point of sitting on the table near the back as said man pushed Petey around verbally, looking amusingly exasperated at their shortest male member as he pointed at something in the car, mocking, with Petey glowering at him. Typical Gary actions. "It's like the bastard didn't even realise."

"Good thing you saved him, then."

"Hmm," Ivy hummed in agreement, filling in some papers for the lesson and yawning, leaning against the wall as she finished. "Hopefully things go well from now on."

"Yeah." Jimmy agreed with a yawn, wanting his bed.

Neil, the Shop teacher, spoke up to his languorous students. "People! Say hi to a new… well a returning student, Miss Katie Longley."

"Hopefully, huh?" Jimmy said when he realised Petey and Gary had stilled in disbelief. "So it's her, huh?"

"For fucks sake. There's no way," Ivy grumbled to herself, seeing Mandy looking at her wide-eyed from across the room. "No way. What the fuck…?" Ivy grouched menacingly and got her first full look of the blonde. She was beautiful, far prettier than Ivy was, and dainty with wide blue eyes and a dreamy vulnerable look on her face. She could understand why men would go for her. Men, in her experience of her guy mates, wanted to feel manly and having something so precious and delicate in their care would make them feel masculine.

...But that wasn't Gary - he was more mind-oriented rather than instinctive; so what even drew him to her?

Well, he was what, fourteen or fifteen when he was with her?

Hormones.

Makes a bit more sense.

She jumped down from the table at the back, standing up tall and Gary's eyes swept to her, but she barely even acknowledged that, simply eyeing the blonde up and down. Then she went back to work, turning away from the pair of them.

Like she would have actually let it get to her.

...

Even though it kind of was.

"Can I just say it seemed inevitable?"

"Shut the fuck up, Jimmy." She huffily sat back on the table.

Jimmy snickered, coming up to sit next to her. "You got nothing to worry about. She's got nothing on you. Not tits at all. At least you have some."

Ivy just gave him a look of pure incredulity at his fascination of that one part of the female body, even if she knew he was trying to cheer her up. "You and fucking tits, I swear."

"What can I say? I like a good pair." He grinned at her and looked over to Mandy, kissing the air at her, making her flush and check to make sure Ted wasn't looking. "Oh, Mandy…" He sighed, causing Ivy to giggle to herself before coughing and hitting her chest with her fist, making him gawp at her. "You giggled."

She flushed in embarrassment and coughed. "No-no. I chuckled femininely."

"Bull-"

"-Shit, is exactly what you're saying." Ivy slipped off the table as Katie joined the class, pairing up with one of the free Greasers near Gary and Petey. "That's just… Making my hackles rise…" She grumbled to herself, getting the work done and not letting it bother her. As much as possible. O-kay, so it did. But only a little. "Pass me that wench. I mean wrench. Shit."

"Uh-oh…" He snickered, taking the piss. "Someone's already letting it get to her."

"Nope. No, I won't," She grunted.

"Good." Jimmy clapped her on the shoulder and she looked up at his understanding grin and he whispered, "It's not her who has his ring or the tattoo of his gang. There's no reason for you to worry. Or Gary will get what's coming to him."

Ivy felt a flush of warmth in her and her lips twitched upwards, needing another person to tell that to her. "True. Thanks, Jim."

"That's better. Tighten that up." Jimmy pointed to something under the bonnet, and she did so. "Awesome. Not bad. I might even pass you, Queen." He teased and she pushed him away with a grin. "So don't frown, hm?" He pat her cheek kindly when he saw her down expression. "You're much too pretty to do so."

That was something she hadn't been called in a while and she blinked at him, giving a small soft smile as her cheeks tinted again and looked away at the compliment before smiling wider and teasing back, "Look at you sounding like my long term ex. You keep that up and I'll swoon."

Jimmy gave her a little hug, keeping an arm around her shoulder after. "What can I say? I hate to see my girls upset."

She squeezed his side gratefully and let go. "Thanks, man. You know what? You're right. I shouldn't-" The two of them stiffened when they saw Katie walk over to Gary, looking unsure, and the aggravation came zipping back instantly, causing her to growl out, "You fucking kidding me? Are you actually having a fucking giggle?" Nearly everyone who knew about the two previous lovers was watching. They couldn't hear anything the re-new girl said, but Petey looked keenly over to them shaking his head and giving a smile, causing the two to de-tense. There was an odd moment that Gary looked at his ex and briefly shook his head, causing the girl to smile in relief and Petey to freeze before Gary murmured something in what looked like a triumphant way and Petey sighed in relief as Katie froze, roles reversed. "The hell is going on over there?!"

"Beats me. Ow! Not literally, bitch." He rubbed his bicep, holding back the whimper of pain because holy shit.

Ivy must seriously be fucked off.

The bell went and Ivy sighed inwardly in relief, wanting to get away from this damn garage as Mandy came up to her immediately, looking worried. "Don't even begin, Mandy."

"But-"

"I get it. Seriously. I get it."

"You, Zoe, then her… who next?" Mandy asked herself, shaking her head. "What's wrong with you women going after that one? He's damned insane."

Ivy burst out laughing then. "So true!"

Mandy gave a small smile, glad she was okay. "Let's go grab some lunch."

"Sure." Jimmy wound his arms around both of their shoulders, smirking over at a pissed off Ted as the two of them leaned into him. "Let's. And let's also tell me about how Mandy knows about you two getting it on…"

.I.

Ivy rolled her eyes at the two flirting back and forth in the Mexican restaurant and stood up, feeling like the obvious third wheel. "You know what? I'll just leave you morons to it. Hey, Marie, can I get another of these for takeaway?"

The waitress gave a wide cheerful smile. "Of course, fighter girl."

"Take out." The two responded to her, Spanish lessons partially working.

She groaned. "Shut uuup. Go back to wanting to fuck each other. And why am I still fighter girl?"

The waitress simply shrugged and waved her over causing Ivy to go see her curiously. "Boss is upstairs?"

"We're just here for food but, why not?" She dashed up the stairs and went into one of the backdoors and smiled upon seeing Boss doing paperwork. "Hey Enrique."

"Little sister," He welcomed, raising an arm and she came over and hugged the thirty odd year's old man. "I didn't realise you were here."

"I was hungry."

He chuckled. "It gives me time to ask about a plan of attack." He went into a bit of detail about a few business dealings he's heard rumours of and places they were happening. "These need to be hit however… I have heard rumours of you joining another faction."

Ivy turned a little and pulled up her skirt, showing off the tattoo from the side.

"A Jaguar…? Why them?" Boss asked in bemusement, trying to not let his eyes linger over to her panties on show. Her thighs were gorgeous enough he didn't need to perv when he'd declared her a sister and looked up when she dropped the article of clothing. "I don't get it. They helped us once but… aren't they a small timer? Why did you not join us or the Vale Tigers?"

"My man wanted his own, and he didn't want to take over someone I was allied to, or his own grandfather. I agreed. This is our promise we will take over them and become them." She wasn't going to reveal they'd already done so, smirking a little at him. "The tattoo goes higher up but that's all I'll show you."

Boss stared at her with an indecipherable look for a moment before he nodded slowly, relaxing a little. He'd suddenly had the horrid thought he'd end up having to kill her or be dead himself when the latter seemed more likely. "I see. Your man is lucky." They heard a voice call up to them. "Your food is ready, little sister. Come back to me soon, alright?"

"Sure." She nodded, going back down the stairs and collecting the bag Marie handed her with a smile and a thanks. She grinned at a macking Jimmy and Mandy and slammed her palm on the table causing them to part instantly and she burst out laughing, catching the salt shaker Jimmy threw at her in annoyance. "Maybe not in a public place, ah?" She put the shaker down on the next table. "I'll leave you to it!"

Halfway across the bridge she saw Petey, who looked relieved to see her. "Ivy! Finally!"

Ivy took out her phone, noting no messages or missed calls, but she did see the time. "Class is starting soon, Petey. What's up?"

"Thought I'd come find you. What with…"

Petey looked so concerned and she smiled gratefully, glad to have a friend like him. Stupid Jimmy just kind of comforted and then let his attention avert to incoming boobies. "As long as he tells her nothing will happen I've got nothing to worry about, hm?"

"Earlier, he said to her he didn't have a girlfriend, but then he said he'd never ever be with her again, so if that's all she wanted then it was time for her to leave Bullworth again." The young man smiled at her. "Hopefully after the whole Zoe thing he actually got it and won't use girls at all like that. Not that he could even use her. I mean…" Petey pointed out and then said, unknowingly harsh, "What use is she?"

Ivy had to cover a smile as they walked to the cafeteria. "Yeah, that's generally not how relationship work, darlin'." Petey laughed freely at that, and she smiled at the development of his confidence as they walked into school. A girlfriend had done a lot for him, it seemed. Good. Her eyes lit up. "Oh! Get this." She secretively told Petey all about Jimmy and Mandy who grinned back mischievously. "We could have fun with this," She said as they entered the noisy area of the cafeteria, gossip and arguments galore.

"That's great stuff to know." Petey chuckled and then sat down with Ivy at the Bullies table.

"Gentlemen." She grinned, sitting beside Russell who pat her on the head in greeting. "Oi. You and me are gonna have problems if you keep doing that."

"Russell sorry."

"Aww, it's cool, big guy. How can I stay mad at you? You're too cute." She grinned at him as he smiled back bashfully.

"Is that Mexican?" Wade asked enviously as Ivy pushed it towards Petey who opened it up curiously and then hugged her upon seeing three steaming burrito's. "Oh man, burrito's? Where's ours?"

"At the restaurant with the other food," Ivy stated as Petey swiftly devoured the first. "Gotta look after my boys."

"What about us? We're yours and Hopkins Bullies!"

Ivy raised a brow. "Say what?"

The Bullies looked amongst each other in amusement and it was Russell that explained.

"Russell see Jimmy and Ivy fight Jocks. You won. Both of you."

Petey snickered at her face of disbelief. "Aw… Bully and Jock boss with Jimmy!" He cooed causing her to scowl at him. "A match made in heaven. Hey!" She grabbed the last taco and halved it, giving the other half to the big guy and Ethan on the opposite side of him.

"Get off me, Longley!"

Ivy felt anger well up and didn't even want to look at this next development in case she blew her top but did so anyway, licking her fingers clean from guacamole and then drying them off with a tissue as Gary stormed away from Katie and into the cafeteria. He immediately found them and strode in their direction and in true flashy villain finally reveals all fashion, he twisted her around easily and kissed her hard, causing the majority of the cafeteria to watch in stunned silence. He wouldn't let up until she kissed back willingly, hands on his chest, pushing her onto the table possessively. His hands were everywhere at once and she wondered if he wanted to prove his intentions by fucking her into the table they were at. He licked her lips before parting, looking down at her stunned but wanting face with a small smirk, unable to help stare at her as she dazedly came back down to earth in front of him, before looking up at the blonde. "This is my woman now, Longley. Understand? Now get lost." Gary, picked her up, sat down, tugged her in his lap and completely ignored the blonde.

Katie gave a hard sob and quickly left.

Ivy watched as she left but Gary squeezed her, kissing down her neck and whispered. "Don't bother with her, Smith." He enjoyed the hint of red in her cheek and snatched the burrito out of Petey's still hand. "Thanks, femme-boy."

Petey eventually blinked, looking at his empty hand and then at Gary, annoyed. "Hey!"

"Boss's place?"

"Yup," Ivy said, a little uncomfortable with the stares from everyone and just let her body relax into him enough that his arm relaxed as well and she deftly slipped from his hold and lap, budging Petey over who kindly allowed her the space before Gary could grab her back. "So… what the fuck was that?"

"I needed to get rid of her. Thanks." He said loudly so the crowds of students watching could hear.

"So… are you guys together or not?" Petey asked for the rest of the table and the two looked at each other for all of a second, considering.

"Nope," Ivy answered with a wry grin as Gary let her lead on that point. "Great kisser though. Might have to tap that every once in a while." She waggled her brows at him.

Gary snorted, eating another bit of his stolen burrito, muttering an, "I'm sure we could come to an arrangement," around it.

"An arrangement, you know..." Ivy chuckled as she shook her head. "I'm worth more than that, gorgeous." Gary chuckled lowly and nodded, patting her head and letting his hand thread through her hair as it dropped. The matter dropped over here, though the gossip didn't. She idly listened to it in amusement. "Talking of arrangements… Jimmy may or may not have found a new beau. Depends really." Their leader gave her a considering look and she whistled the first few notes of their Bullworth cheerleading anthem causing him to look amused more than anything. "Yup."

"Think it'll happen?" Her paramedic inclined friend questioned curiously.

The duo both knew Jimmy flirted like crazy with Mandy, and she didn't exactly say no… But with Ted still there, it was a tough one to call.

"There's chemistry, alright. I think it fact. One hundred it does."

"Alright then."

"What?" Wade asked, looking lost.

Ivy and Petey looked at him and then got up, with Ivy also lifting Gary up, giving her an aggravated look. "Time for class, ciao!" Gary had mind enough to snatch a tissue before he was irritably pulled away by an arm of Ivy's, leaving a confused bunch of Bullies staring at their leader and her two friends as they left.

A/N: I liked this too! Did you?

Please Review, Favourite and Follow so more people read it! I'd like to know the thoughts of people on this fic, especially as peoples from all around the world read this! Is there too much of something? Too little of something? Too slow paced? Too fast? I know sometimes my paragraph flow isn't as good as I know it could be and there's some spelling/grammatical errors. A few words of kind critique would be greatly appreciated! What do I need to improve on?
