{Behind The Scenes}

I actually started work on this on November the first. The whole thing took me a month.

Furthermore, I didn't use a draft. I personally felt that if I knew exactly what I was going to write ahead of time, I might have rushed it, so I just wrote the full story, adding writing techniques, stuff like that. Each chapter took about a day to finish.

Several areas in the game were based off of areas I have been, for example…

Windfall Island's town was based off Mont-Saint-Michel, Normandy, France.

Dragon Roost Island was based off of the mountains of Tenerife. The Aviary was not based on a real world location.

Forest Haven was inspired by the West Woods, Marlborough, Wiltshire.

Hyrule was inspired by the Market from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time mixed with English landscapes.

Headstone Island was inspired by Ringstead Bay, Dorset.

I originally wanted to put more stuff from the games in, but most of the things I wanted to add would have just been padding.
