I am SO sorry this is so late. I'm slowly losing interest in Homestuck. BUT I am DETERMINED to finish this. I will not be an asshole. I will give you a good conclusion. A rushed, but still satisfying conclusion. I hope you enjoyed this story and I will now be writing Hetalia fanfiction again.

~UC

Aradia was laying in her bed. She was so still. So peaceful. Not a single movement or sound from her. A multitude of people surrounded her bed. Sollux was trying to keep himself from bawling. Kanaya and Rose held their new children. Karkat and Terezi were ogling the twins. Vriska was about half dead and leaning on John. Equius was with Nepeta, unaware of this.

Finally she lifted her eyelids. Everyone had her attention now. All the talking was silent. Rose smiled.

"Good thing to see you're awake," she said.

"How are you feeling?" Terezi asked.

"Tired," she responded with a slight smile.

"You've got to stop dying on us," she said. Aradia's smile grew.

"It's a talent," she remarked, "What's wrong with Vriska?"

"She donated a lot of blood," informed Kanaya.

"So…dead," she slurred.

"I'll take you out," said Jade leading her out of the room.

"Thank you…Jard…" she trailed off.

"Would you like to hold them?" Rose asked.

"Yes," the two were handed to her. She gazed down at them both. "They're so beautiful. And so blonde."

"Have you named them yet?" John asked.

"Well we thought that you would name the boy Aradia," said Kanaya, "After all, we had a deal." Aradia smiled.

"Name him Richard," suggested Dave.

"Why Richard?"

"Then you can call him Dick," sighed Rose, "Nice try."

"Diederik. That's what I'm going with," she said, "Then you can call him Dirk for short."

"Dirk…I like that," nodded Kanaya. The group jubilated over the newly named boy. Rose caught John away from the group. The girl was in his arms and away from the commotion. A smile on his face as he relived a moment he had lived twice.

"Hey…I just though of something," Rose suggested, "For the girl, how about Roxanne?"

"That is the one suggestion you had that was actually good!" Kanaya cheered, "How did you come up with that?"

"I guess it just came to me," she looked at John who smiled at her.

"Well there you go. Dirk and Roxy. It's so perfect," said Kanaya.

"They really are."

Sollux entered the room to find Aradia alone. She had a baby in each arm. She looked up at Sollux.

"Want to hold one?" she offered.

"I held Roxy earlier. I'll take the boy," he said taking him off her hands. He studied the tiny male. Light, almost invisible hair. Blue eyes, of course, all babies were born with blue eyes. He didn't have a happy look or an upset look. He was neutral. His sister looked a bit happier.

"I know I can't keep you," she started, "But at the same time I don't feel like I'm giving you up. I'm sad but I'm happy you're going to have a wonderful life."

"Being a twin will be frustrating, I know. But at least you won't have half of the problems I had, "And to you, Dirk, good luck being the only boy in a house full of women."

"Oh please let go of my fingers. You're not making this easy," she said.

"Now Uncle Dave may appear cool and Uncle Karkat may teach you all the bad words; but remember, you came from me," Sollux said.

"Remember, I love you. Both of you. Don't ever think for a second that I don't. Wow, this actually isn't as hard as I thought. I mean I'm going to still see you a lot."

"I'm sorry for my shitty genes. If something awful happens because of your genetics, I'm sorry," he continued, "But you two at least look like you turned out alright."

"After all that's happened, there's one thing I need to say before you go home," she finished, "Thank you."

"Thank you and good luck."

Epilogue

Throughout the years, many things changed. For the most part, things changed for the better. John eventually moved with his daughter to the suburbs. He bought a house right next to to Rose and Kanaya. Their children would eventually become best friends. A few houses away they would have another new neighbor. A gorgeous and successful business executive with a young boy about Jane's age. This neighborhood has remained happy and peaceful throughout the last 13 years...except for one school incident. But everyone is happy none the less.

Jade moved back to the island that she grew up on to study the unique, native plants there. Her goodbye was not taken very well. About three months after her arrival, she discovered an old wooden boat washed up on the shore. Inside that boat was a dirty, sleeping, man with a blonde beard and sunglasses. She and the man now live on the island together. She studies the flora and he studies the fauna. 10 years after his arrival, another boat would wash up on the shore. Two unfortunate US Navy sailors and best friends who had been stranded at sea in a lifeboat for 34 days. Jade recognised the timid man as an old friend and offered refuge to him and his comrade. The desperate woman greedily ate most of the food in the fridge and was very fond of the island's unique arachnids. The man also took interest in the exotic animals and Jade everything he could do after a successful surgery.

Some things changed for the worse, however. Gamzee is still in jail, which is good for everyone else at least. Eridan eventually let fame get to his head. After the Midnight Crew movie, he blew a lot of his money on alcohol. He nearly drank himself to death but was saved by a hooker who called an ambulance. Hematologist Dr. E. Zahhak said his blood alcohol content was .7. He is currently under the care of Zahhak's new tiny assistant who is doing her best to get him back on his feet.

Karkat and Terezi finally got back together. He proposed to her not long after the twins were born and in a surprisingly short amount of time, they had their own kid. Which makes it safe to say that we were right in assuming they never truly broke up in the first place.

As for Sollux and I, well...it has been a bit of both. We are in a happy relationship, and he eventually got a job working for the government...sort of. I'm not supposed to talk about that though. Sadly I don't really get to see him anymore. I miss him right now. And last time I checked, he misses me more than anything else in the world at the moment. I'm worried. I hate leaving him like this...

The sound awoke Sollux from his sleep. The sound he had been plagued by for the last 6 months. He groaned. Please let me sleep. I don't have the effort or energy to get up. The sound wasn't dying down. Groaning again, he forced himself out of bed. He trudged to the other room and followed his ears to the sound. When he got to the room he realized he forgot a crucial item. Shit. My glasses. I guess I'll have to pull a Terezi. If she can do this all the time, so can I. He relied on his ears to take him to the source of the noise. Shit shit which one is it? I can't see, fuck! He closed his eyes for a moment to locate the sound. He followed the noise.

"Sh-Crap…" he squinted, "Which one are you?" He finally made it to the crib. "I'm just going to guess that you're Caliborn. Since Caliborn is a pain in the ass. Shit! I mean– Fuck! I mean–nnngh I'm a terrible parent." Trying everything he can to get the child to stop screaming, he tried to be gentle but secretly wanted to throw this kid out the window. He knew it was a bad thing to think but he'd still have another kid. And he'd have a lot more sleep. But this was his son. He had risen from the ashes, got a job working for the government, and now made more than a livable amount of money. All so that he could be ready for this boy. He was now starting to regret ever agreeing to children.

"You're clean, you're not hungry, you don't have gas, and after all those trips to the doctor, you are perfectly healthy," he cried, "What do you want from me?" He sighed. "Really wish mommy was here right now." He then had an idea. "Alright. I have a baby, and I can't see. This is perfect." He shuffled to the door and felt his way to his bedroom. He first grabbed his glasses and then grabbed his phone. "Why do you hate me? You love your mommy but you hate me. Well it's a good thing I recorded…this!" He then pressed a button and a voice began singing a song from the phone.

"What does a heart encrusted in rust…"

Slowly and with a few repeats of the song the boy was finally asleep.

"…and all that will never ever Change. With all these feelings that remain."

He sighed. Finally! I'm so happy I recorded that. If not, I got 8 more lullabies. He then quickly and quietly snuck the kid back to his crib. He sighed in relief. I can't do this! I'm going to be such an awful dad. I need AA. I can't be left alone with two of these things. I'm okay with one but two?! How the hell does a woman have two sets of twins anyway? Damn my twin legacy! He then went to check on the girl. She was sleeping peacefully, as usual. She almost never caused any trouble. He sometimes was worried she had died because she slept so peacefully. She was such a perfect baby. He smiled. No! No! I can't play favorites. I don't want any kid to experience favoritism. I know how much it sucks but now I'm starting to think my parents had a reason now… He then heard a loud knock on the door. Oh no oh no please don't wake up! The knock came again. He quickly crept down the stairs in nothing but a t-shirt and his bee boxers. His eyes were bloodshot and decorated with dark circles and his hair was all over the place. He was not in the mood for company. I swear if this asshole wakes that kid up I'm going to wring their neck. He looked through the eye hole. What is he doing here? And why did he come here? He never comes over here.

Sollux opened the door to face a 13 year old boy. His blonde hair was slicked back, his eyes were covered by aviator shades that his uncle had given to him. But through the shades, Sollux could see how red his face was.

"How the hell did you get here?" Sollux asked, "What are you–"

"You lied."

"What?"

"You didn't have to lie to us," he said, "And don't tell me you don't know what I'm talking about because I'm positive you do!" He invited himself in. Sollux closed the door behind him.

"Hey, can you keep it dow–"

"I saw a picture and I was wondering what you and Aunt Aradia were doing there. I always knew I was adopted…and I was actually okay with that, but to think that my real parents live only a block away?! And then you have the nerve to have your own children?!" he stepped closer one foot at a time until he was right in front of him, "Rox may not think it's a big deal but I feel betrayed by you and…whoever my real birth mom is." He glared into Sollux's fearful, mismatched eyes. "I thought your eyes were blue. WHAT ELSE HAVE YOU BEEN LYING TO ME ABOUT?"

"Shhhhhh! Quiet! I finally got the kids to sleep!" he hissed, "I'm going to need to ask you to calm down! Let me at least put on some pants and then I'll answer your questions." He then tip toed upstairs and cleaned himself up a bit. He put on some pants, ran a comb through his hair, and put on some deodorant. He rushed back downstairs where Dirk was waiting.

"I don't know what I want," he sighed, "I just feel…"

"I understand you must be feeling really upset. But you're at least somewhat related to one of your mothers. And you've known us all your life," he brightened.

"Who's my mom? My real mom," he interrogated, "Kanaya says you used to sleep around a lot."

"I did NOT!" Sollux snapped, "Your aunt Aradia! Who else did you expect!" He then toned down praying Caliborn wasn't awakened. He sighed. "Your aunt should be telling you about all this. But she isn't here right now, so I got to do it." Just then Sollux's phone rang. "After this." He picked up. "Sup…Oh hey Kanaya…is he with me?" Sollux looked at Dirk for a moment. Dirk made an 'I'm not here' gesture. "No. why?…oh…uh huh…oh. Well you could have told them sooner…okay okay calm down! I get the thing but he seriously didn't ask until now?…I'll keep an eye out for him…he's probably at a friend's house. Just give him some space…he's not that stupid…" Dirk shot him a look. "Alright I'll look out for him…good luck." Sollux hung up. "Your mothers are going to kill me for that."

"They don't have to know."

"True. So what exactly do you want to know?"

"A lot of things. Why did you give us up? What's our ethnic background? What diseases run in our family? Why do I have–"

"Alright alright. Have a seat. I'll have to have the famous talk with you," he sighed. There was another knock on the door. "One second." He answered the door and found a blonde 13 year old girl. Her short hair was slightly curly, especially the ends. Her eyes seemed to be bright pink in color. She wore a light amount of makeup, the amount a typical teenager that age would wear.

"How the hell did you get here?" Sollux repeated.

"I'm here to slap Dirky out of his tantrum," she replied, "Where is he?"

"Why do you think he's here?" Sollux asked.

"I can see his shoes by the door, you ain't fooling me," she smirked, "Dirk! The moms are worried! Quit being a baby and come home!"

"I'm not being a baby Rox! Aren't you even a bit mad about this?" Dirk defended.

"You'll wake the baby if you don't quiet down!" Sollux hissed.

"I think it's cool!" Roxy replied softer.

"Well I want to know more about us!" Dirk hissed.

"Ooh! I do too!" Roxy agreed, "I always had a feeling I was an accident. And what's up with your eyes Uncle Sollux?"

"I guess I'll tell you about that first." he answered, "It's a mutation. And I want to look normal so I wear a lens in my brown eye."

"You look much cooler without it," said Roxy.

"Yeah!" agreed Dirk. Sollux smiled.

"Whenever I don't wear my contacts, that's all anyone can ever focus on. That's why I wear them," he explained, "I am surprised neither of you got any of my really awful genes."

"Okay what about our heritage? I have a project comin up and I need to know that stuff," Roxy requested.
"Well, your mom is Jewish and Italian-"
"Sweet! We can celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas!" Roxy cheered.
"Then why are we blonde?" asked Dirk.
"What?"
"If we're Jewish, why are we blonde?"
"There can be blonde Jewish people Dirk! Don't be racist!" Roxy replied.
"Okay okay!"
"What always had me confused is why your hair is straight Dirk," added Sollux, "Your hair was really curly as a kid. How did it get so straight?"
"I don't know. That's just how it is," he replied in a cool manner.
"Bullshit! You use so much hair gel every mornin that it's practically straight!" Roxy pointed out.
"Rox!" Sollux chuckled. "Well, what about you?" he said, "What are you?"
"I'm pretty much everything Rose is...My grandpa came from Northern Ireland so that didn't really add anything," he answered.
"That explains your teeth," he commented.
"Hey!"

Suddenly the door opened. The three jumped. Sollux turned around to see Aradia with her luggage from her expedition. She smiled when she saw Sollux.
"Surprise!" she greeted.
"Why are you home so early?" he asked, "You know what, I don't care. I'm just happy you're back." He hugged her. She giggled a bit. The two teenagers in the living room then caught her eye.

"Oh! I didn't know you two were over!" she cheered.
"They came over not too long ago. They want to know a few things about their birth parents," he explained.
"Alright, what do you want to know?" she asked.

"Why did you give us up?" Dirk asked, "You two seem like caring, well off, and smart people. You have kids now. What made you give us up?"
"Well, back then we weren't so well off or smart," explained Aradia, "Sollux couldn't hold a job and when I found out I was having you two...I was scared. It was an accident-"
"I knew it!" interjected Roxy.
"And both Sollux and I were seeing other people. Sollux was engaged, actually. And I heard your parents were having a hard time having children. So I figured that they would take better care of you than I would and that they deserved children more than I did at the time. I would have kept you if my life was not that complicated back then. Oh boy was it a mess."
"So we ruined your lives?" Dirk reiterated.
"Absolutely not," she smiled, "You fixed it."

"What?"
"If you two hadn't come into my life, I wouldn't have Sollux in my life, he wouldn't have his job, We'd both be married to someone else, and we wouldn't have had the guts to have our own kids without me realizing that it's not that bad. You both changed our lives for the better. So don't ever think that you were unwanted," she elaborated.

"Awwww!" Roxy fawned, "Okay okay! I want to hear how you guys got together now!"
"Me too. This ought to be interesting," Dirk agreed. The two smiled.

"Okay," began Aradia, "It all started when..."
