Electricity

Peasley didn't exactly understand Luigi. He found the man charming, as shy and timid he acted around him. He occasionally invited him to events in BeanBean Kingdom.

Peasley has never seen anybody RSVP faster.

When Luigi read that Peasley was hosting a picnic, he was very excited. He planned the day out and mentally prepared for a party.

When he got off the plane, he was greeted by Peasley himself, which he didn't expect.

"Luigi!" He called out excitedly.

Luigi walked over to him and anxiously stuck out his hand. "Hello…" He didn't know why Luigi was so shy around him. He seems relatively okay around everyone else and it wasn't the first time they had hung out.

Peasley always tried to do all the nicest things for him, as he deserved it for how happy he made him. Peasley shook his hand, with a warm smile. "I'm very glad you decided to come!"

Luigi only smiled and nodded, but he was surprised when he took him to the castle courtyard. It wasn't decorated at all. Well, at least, not for a party.

There was just a simple table with treats and goodies on it, and a picnic rug on the floor. Peasley smiled at him as he walked to the rug and sat down, patting the spot next to him.

Luigi had an eyebrow raised, and thought back to the letter Peasley sent him.

His other one rose, as he remembered the phrasing. "Would you like to attend a picnic with me?" He read that wrong. He thought he'd be hosting a picnic for a group of people, not just the two of them.

Peasley tilted his head, and Luigi snapped back to the present. Luigi laughed, feeling super awkward. He took the spot next to the prince.

"So…." Peasley started.

"How is your brother?" He asked.

Luigi tried to make eye contact, and said "Oh! He's, well, He's Mario! Always scrapping around, going off on his adventures and all that.."

Peasley smiled. "Have you been adventuring as well?"

"Not as often,,," Luigi blushed and looked down.

Peasley, trying to understand his feelings, looked at him, pulling his legs to his chest and holding them. "Yeah?"

Luigi looked at him, in the pose. "Yeah,," He smiled.

It was quiet for a resounding 2 minutes. Peasley looked up and asked. "Would you like something to eat?" Peasley stood up without an answer, making Luigi flustered. "No, its okay i can-" Luigi stood up as Peasley grabbed him a plate.

Luigi grabbed the plate as well, and sent a slight electric shock through it, startling them both.

Peasley's eyes widened at that, his hair standing up.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" If Luigi got any more red, he'd be his brother.

Peasley only blinked at him, before taking a deep breath, and letting out a cackle.

Luigi looked at him with concern, wondering if he had injured him. Peasley let go of the plate, laughing and holding onto his thigh.

"I get it now!" He said through the laughter.

"You're electricity!"

Luigi looked alarmed and confused.

"You light everyone up, you charge others and if someone attempts to charge back" He taps on the plate. "You short-circuit and burn out!"

Luigi was shell-shocked, as Peasley just laughed at his revelation.

Luigi thought for a good while, and began laughing as well.
