When Jack, receives an invitation to a Duel Tournament called The Elder Scrolls Tournament, he doesn't know what danger awaits. Will he be able to resist the brutal Duels set out for him and become champion or will he fall victim in the hands of a mysterious group called The Thalmor?

35. United We Stand

All the Dragon Priests are down, yet we still have one mission left take Lucien Black out before we head to Sigil Keep.

If this plan works we only have to fight our way through the tower, take the Sigil Stone and we are done.

Well that is the easiest route and the easiest route always never works.

In a large room that was the main room of a castle a few miles away from Oblivion Island the ex Thalmor Grimsley sat on a chair, next to him stood a skinny man wearing worn-out clothes of a rock band he had a black Mohawk, the man constantly looked around him.

'Eddy relax.' Grimsley suddenly said.

'I cannot relax! Sirius and Lord Volkihar should have been back by now, something is wrong!'

'Relax Eddy!' Grimsley shouted. 'I know you are paranoid but this is getting ridiculous!'

'How can I relax? They only went away to find those two girls Juliet and Serana! That should not take that long!'

Suddenly the huge doors to the main hall opened, Eddy and Grimsley looked at the door, an imposing man stepped inside, he wore black armor, the man also wore a hood his red eyes were the only thing visible from his face, two strings of silver hair were visible from under the hood.

Eddy and Grimsley bowed down. 'Lord Volkihar we thought something happened.' Eddy said.

'No worry Eddy I am fine.' The man in armor spoke, behind him Sirius entered he held a young-looking girl in his arms, Sirius was covered in blood and a trail of blood followed behind the vampire.

'By the Nine Divines what has happened?' Eddy gasped.

'Don't ask now get a matrass!' Volkihar commanded Grimsley rushed upstairs to get one.

'Eddy a medical kit now.' Volkihar said and Eddy also rushed off.

Grimsley returned with the matrass he put it on the ground, at that time Eddy returned with the medical kit.

Sirius carefully placed the girl on the matrass, the girl had long brown hair that was dirty with blood, the clothing she had left was a torn blue shirt covered in blood she had no pants and her underpants were almost completely ripped off, the left arm of the girl laid in an unnatural position she was bruised all over her body, she had several deep cuts, blood covered her body her right eye was thick her left eye completely closed she was bleeding severely from her mouth.

'A vampire?' Eddy gasped as he took a closer look at the girl.

'What the hell happened dude?' Grimsley muttered.

Sirius started to check the girl.

'Two black eyes.' Sirius mumbled he carefully opened her left eye.

'Left eye damaged she won't be able to see one-hundred percent anymore, right eye only thick that will heal.' Sirius continued in the meantime he cleaned the face of the girl he placed some bandages around her head, he put a bandage over the girl's left eye.

Sirius took a pair of scissors he cut away the remaining clothing of the girl, he started to check her body. 'Both legs are okay no bones broken few bruises nothing that won't heal, although they put great pressure on her right leg it is near broken.' Sirius cleaned the legs and body of the girl putting some bandages on her wounds.

'I need to close these wounds.' Sirius muttered he took a needle and some threads and he started to stitch the cuts.

When Sirius was done he started to check the girl's arms.

'Right arm bruised not broken, left arm out of place.' Sirius gave a serious yank at the left arm and with a loud snap it shot back on his place.

'So few more bandages.' Sirius muttered.

When Sirius was done he took a deep breath Sirius wiped his forehead. 'Now for the most nasty part.' Sirius muttered and he carefully opened the girl's mouth.

'Completely ripped out.' Sirius said he took a few bandages to wipe away the blood from her mouth.

'This must hold.' Sirius continued to mutter he took a small tampon and put it in the girl's mouth then he slowly closed her mouth so it wouldn't move from its place.

'Sweet girl you didn't deserve this.' Sirius softly said, he took a blanket and covered the girl with it then he softly kissed her cheek.

'Now care to explain what happened?' Eddy asked.

'I shall explain.' Volkihar spoke.

'Sirius and I were taking a look in the growing army of Orichalcos Soldiers while we were also searching for our last two members Serana and Juliet when suddenly we heard a scream from a girl, we rushed there to see what was going on.' Sirius looked at Volkihar. 'I'll tell.' Sirius said in a cold voice, he still held the girl wrapped in the blankets in his arms.

'We found this girl in a back alley, she was tied to a pole when we approached two guys ran away, Lord Volkihar gave chase but the two managed to get away, those guys had cut away this girl's clothes with a knife they did not watch out making deep cuts in her body, when we arrived they just yanked out one of her teeth, if we didn't arrive when we did who knew what more they did to her.' Sirius concluded.

'It was the Dawnguard.' Volkihar said.

'There are three of the Dawnguard on the island, one is a finalist but he is not an extremist like the other two we're gonna hunt down those Dawnguard members and the Orichalcos Soldiers.'

A few hours later both Sirius and Volkihar himself stood over the two Dawnguard members they laid on the ground on their stomach their hands behind their heads.

Eddy watched from a distance while Grimsley was back at the castle guarding the girl.

'So not so tough now are we!' Sirius yelled into the ear of one of them the Dawnguard member didn't react.

'SPEAK!' Sirius howled.

'I am not intimidated by your kind.' The Dawnguard member slowly said.

'My kind?' Volkihar asked.

'Yes. Dirty. Blood-sucking. Vampires!' The Dawnguard member spat out every word. 'Enough!' Sirius shouted and Sirius stabbed the member through his neck with his sword.

'And you?' Sirius asked now looking at the second member.

'AND YOU I ASKED!' Sirius howled pulling the man up by his hair.

'I've got nothing to say. Are you happy now? Free blood for you and that dirty girl...' The Dawnguard member couldn't finish his sentence because Sirius stabbed the man straight through his heart.

'Eddy.' Volkihar said with a calm voice.

'Check the area we never know if there are more Dawnguard around, we let the Orichalcos Soldiers go for now.' Then Volkihar took Sirius' shoulder. 'Let's go you have been through enough today, the girl needs you now.'

Jack woke up, Juliet laid next to him, it was the day after Jack's victory over Otar the Mad.

'Guys today is the day.' Leo said when he entered the bedroom.

'You are awfully happy.' Juliet noticed.

'O yes should have known Akatosh haven't told you yet.'

'Told us what?' Jack asked.

'Well a few things, first Akatosh has officially cleansed the bad things Drake, Don and Michelle have done, if we can free them from the Orichalcos they even get a chance to join the Blades.'

Jack and Juliet smiled. 'That is some great news.' Jack said.

'Yes but there is more, Serana has the same offer she already accepted when this is over she will take the oath to officially join.'

'That is great for her!' Juliet said with a smile.

'And now the last thing if the three of us want we can become Blades right now, I already accepted.' Leo said with a smile.

'You did the oath?' Jack wondered.

'Not necessary the oath is only that you swear alliance then you get a sword and you became a Blade, o one more thing you need to be brave since we faced Dragon priests and whatnot that was enough we already can handle a sword, the swords of the Legendary Knights if we need to give these back we can get swords from the Blades.' Leo explained.

Thirty minutes later they all sat around the big table except for Serana, she was escorted to the Sigil Keep the news of the dead Dawnguard members has put Akatosh on high alert both Vampires and Dawnguard were active and that was dangerous, after Juliet and Jack has accepted the chance to become Blades they were brought to the penthouse where Lucien Black was holed up.

'Okay lets go over this one more time.' Akatosh said.

'We know, search the building find that Errol Black-Heart take him out let the other Thalmor go and then take out Lucien.' Jack said.

'Yes.' Akatosh replied. 'I am here outside in case of an emergency, Jack you get Errol Juliet and Leo the two of you take on Lucien he is dangerous and probably armed with all kind of magical spells and weapons make sure you fight him two-on-one.' Akatosh said and he gave all three of them a communicator.

Jack and the others stormed the building the first floor was clear.

'No enemies here what gives?' Leo muttered.

'I don't trust it.' Juliet slowly said.

'Akatosh can you come in please, first floor is clear but I don't trust it.' Jack said through the communicator, the door to the penthouse slowly opened and Akatosh came in.

'Tell me what I need to do.' Akatosh said.

'Can you wait on this floor? You need nothing to do but I have a feeling something might happen and if magic will be involved you can deal better with it than we do.' Leo explained.

'I understand, I shall wait here you go.' Akatosh said.

The moment Jack kicked down the door to the second floor Orichalcos Soldiers spawned on both sides of the hall they didn't move the candles on the walls started to burn with a black light.

'This reeks of Errol, you two must go now go to the roof I bet Lucien is there.' Jack said.

'Good luck.' Juliet said and she gave Jack a quick kiss then she and Leo ran off.

'So it is you and me now, I have been waiting for this moment.' Errol appeared in the middle of the room.

'Errol Black-Heart I recognize you from the Arena.' Jack said with a calm voice.

'Yeah and you got lucky there if not for the sacrifice of your friend Drake I would have ended your lives there.' The necromancer said.

'Yes but now it is the both of us, Errol we shall settle this now.' Jack activated his Duel Disk.

Errol smiled. 'I have a score to settle the three Dragon Priests that you battled I took extra care for creating them.' Errol activated his Duel Disk. 'You know all the trouble I had? The suffering I had? You have no idea Lord Black has given me this one last task, the task to get rid of the Blades and with my idea that will succeed.

(Errol: 8000) - (Jack: 8000)

'I shall start this Duel.' Errol stated and he drew his card before Jack could object.

'First I set these three cards.' Errol started and three cards appeared in his Spell/Trap Zone.

'Then I summon Double Coston.' The Necromancer continued and a black blob with two eyes in it appeared it suddenly split into two. (1700 ATK)

'I am not done yet Jack.' Errol said taking a card from his hand.

'I play Terraforming.' Errol stated playing the Spell card a card slipped from his Deck he showed it to Jack it was The Seal of Orichalcos.

'Jack this Orichalcos is not for me because I activate my final card Exchange!' Errol played yet another Spell card. 'Now we exchange one card in our hands with each other.' Errol said with an evil smile.

The Duelists met each other in the center of the room, Jack showed Errol his hand and Errol took Guardian Eatos, since Errol only had one card in his hand Jack was forced to take the Orichalcos Jack had a weird feeling in his guts he tried to ignore the feeling.

'I shall end my turn now.' Errol said.

Jack nobody can withstand the Orichalcos, I don't need to play it you gonna ruin your own life with it.

'Errol I am not gonna use the Orichalcos.' Jack said but he did look at the card. 'I summon D.D. Survivor!' Jack shouted and the man clad in rags appeared on the Field. (1800 ATK)

'Kill Double Coston!' Jack commanded and Survivor sliced the two blobs in half with his sword.

(Errol: 7900) - (Jack: 8000)

'Kill?' Errol wondered. 'You never have given that command to your monsters to announce an attack, you cannot withstand the Orichalcos.' Errol laughed. 'Shut the hell up Errol.' Jack groaned.

'I need some cards.' Errol mumbled. 'I activate my facedown Card of Sanctity.' Errol stated and the card spun around both Duelists drew until they held six cards.

'Next I summon Sangan and end my turn.' Errol stated and the three-eyed fuzzy Fiend appeared. (1000 ATK)

'These monsters, you desperately want a high level Dark monster with low Attack Points.' Jack muttered.

'But that trick won't work, I sacrifice Survivor for Gaius!' Jack shouted and the warrior disappeared in his place the enormous Gaius the Shadow Monarch appeared. (2400 ATK)

'With Gaius' effect I Banish Sangan!' Gaius rose its hands a void appeared and Sangan was drawn into it.

'Since Sangan was Dark you take 1000 points of damage!' Jack shouted and Gaius fired a blast of pure darkness Errol groaned.

'And now a direct attack Gaius!' Errol could barely hold his footing when the wave of pure darkness washed over him.

(Errol: 4500) - (Jack: 8000)

'To end my turn I activate Dimensional Fissure.' Jack stated and the Spell card appeared and with it a void opened.

'No you won't I activate Dust Tornado!' Errol shouted and the Trap card spun around Dimensional Fissure was destroyed and the void disappeared.

Errol drew his card he grinned. 'Well don't need Sangan anymore I got the card I needed.' Jack got an uneasy feeling.

'First Call of the Haunted!' Errol shouted and his Trap card spun around, Double Coston reappeared. (1700 ATK)

'And now I sacrifice Double Coston for Yubel!'

Jack shuddered thunder roared outside and heavy rain started to fall.

Double Coston disappeared and a female Fiend appeared on the Field, she had purple skin her left leg was covered while her right leg was largely exposed, her breasts were also covered, the demonic woman had spiky silver hair, two demonic wings on her back and three eyes, one was placed vertically on her forehead. (0 ATK)

'No way Yubel!' Jack shouted. 'She is supposed to be with Jaden Yuki!'

'O yes she was supposed to be with Jaden.' Errol grinned. 'I ripped her soul away from her beloved Jaden, then I submitted her soul to my superior soul and so she has nothing of a will anymore and now I shall use her to destroy you!' Errol cackled.

'This is sick even for your standard.' Jack cursed.

'Well maybe but first I activate Scapegoat!' Errol shouted and the four multicolored sheep appeared. (0 DEF x4)

'Then I set one card.' Errol continued and a reversed card appeared.

'I shall end my turn and so I tribute one Scapegoat to keep Yubel on the Field.' Yubel looked at one of the sheep and she slowly sucked the soul out of the small sheep.

'I shall find a way I know about Yubel's effect that you won't take damage and I take damage instead so as long as I don't attack her she cannot inflict damage.' Jack muttered. 'I need to Banish her so she cannot use her effect with this Deck that is not hard.' Jack said with a grin.

'Or is it?' Errol sneered and his Trap card spun around. 'Imperial Iron Wall!' Jack gasped. 'Right and now cards cannot be Banished.' Errol said.

'I set a card facedown.' jack stated and a reversed card appeared.

'Next I summon D.D. Warrior Lady!' Jack shouted and the woman clad in leather appeared she drew his sword. (1500 ATK)

'Lady and Gaius kill those sheep!' Jack commanded and both his monsters slew two of the Scapegoats.

'Turn end.' Jack stated.

Errol drew his card.

'I simply set one facedown card and I end my turn.' Errol casually said and a new card appeared in his Spell/Trap Zone, Yubel took the soul of the last Scapegoat.

So it seems I cannot evade Yubel, probably Errol has enough monsters to keep Yubel around, I need to destroy her completely. Jack thought, he knew this plan was dangerous but he simply had no choice.

'I summon D.D. Destroyer!' Jack shouted and a blue Fiendish creature appeared it had a rat tail and yellow manes covering his neck and yellow fur covering its arms. (1000 ATK)

'I activate Battle Mania!' Errol shouted and his Trap card spun around. 'Come Jack attack me and be destroyed!'

'You've asked for it Destroyer attack Yubel!' Jack shouted and the creature charged in.

'Yubel counter the attack with your special power!' Errol commanded.

'I've waited for this! I activate Divine Wrath!' Jack shouted and his Trap card spun around Jack discarded one of his cards and lightning struck Yubel with a scream the Fiendish woman disappeared.

'That's dealt with.' Jack said with a grin.

'Or is it?' Errol stated. 'You clearly did not know about Yubel's second effect.'

'Say what...' Jack gasped and a dark fog appeared on the Field the fog took the form of a dragon, it had the same skin as Yubel the dragon had two heads the third eye of Yubel appeared on the center of the chest of the vile creature. (0 ATK)

'This is Yubel - Terror Incarnate and she holds the same effects as Yubel regarding attacks and thanks to Battle Mania you must attack.'

Jack watched in horror as Gaius and Warrior Lady charged in Yubel created two blasts of darkness in her mouths and she blew the two monsters apart Jack screamed as a wave of pure darkness washed over him.

(Errol: 4500) - (Jack: 4200)

Errol drew his card.

'You know Yubel also has a new effect during my End Phase she destroys all other monsters on the Field and I end my turn.'

Yubel charged two new balls of darkness and fired them Gaius and D.D. Warrior Lady exploded.

'So that trick won't work time to improvise a plan B.' Jack muttered as he drew his card. 'First to get rid of Imperial Iron Wall, Mystical Space Typhoon!' Jack shouted and the small tornado ripped away the Trap card.

'Next I summon Gren Maju Da Eiza!' Jack continued and the hideous red fiendish creature crawled on the Field.

'And finally I fuse Gran Maju and Timaeus together!' Jack shouted and Timaeus appeared on the Field with a roar.

'Jack you can only call me when you are in trouble.' The wise dragon spoke.

'I know and I'd say Yubel is an emergency! Now obey me and fuse with Gren Maju Da Eiza.'

Timaeus sighted but in the end he and the Fiend fused together the result was a small dragon with small wings and a long thin tail, it walked on four legs and its small mouth was filled with sharp teeth the small dragon snarled. (1500 ATK)

'This is Dragon of the Red Lotus and when he is summoned I can Banish cards from my Deck equal to the Level of a monster you control.' Jack explained and he discarded eleven cards.

'Now that is done my Dragon gains 1100 attack points extra and your monster is Banished!' The small dragon roared and grew to gigantic proportions. (2600 ATK)

Then it let out another roar and a rift opened beneath Yubel the hideous dragonic Fiend was sucked into it.

'I won Errol now surrender!' Jack said Errol started to laugh.

'You think Banishing Yubel actually works? Her second form is build to counter that the moment Yubel leaves the Field I can summon her third and ultimate form!' The creature that appeared next looked like Yubel's second form only bigger, under the eye on her chest grew two more eyes, the claws on her hand and feet were now covered with sharp nails and on her kneecaps also grew eyes. (0 ATK)

'This is Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare!' Errol shouted.

'Even Timaeus failed at this point I can only do one thing now.'

Jack's Field slot opened he took one card from his hand. 'I play The Seal of Orichalcos!' Jack shouted and runes appeared all around him, Jack threw his head back and closed his eyes, he screamed when the Orichalcos appeared on his forehead, when he opened his eyes his pupils were green.

Dragon of the Red Lotus looked at Jack it changed back into Timaeus.

'Jack what have you done?' Timaeus said with a weak voice.

'I cannot stay if you use the Orichalcos.' Timaeus whispered and then he slowly disappeared.

'You've abandoned me Timaeus!' Jack shouted.

'No Jack you've abandoned yourself.' Errol said and he played a card, a purple-skinned Fiend appeared it wore a tattered green cape, it lunged at Jack and slashed at him but Jack simply grabbed the monster and threw it back.

(Errol: 4500) - (Jack: 2300)

'Errol!' Jack howled. 'Come D.D. Warrior Lady!' Jack shouted and the woman appeared again this time she had the Orichalcos on her head she looked bored. (1500- 2000 ATK)

'Kill that Archfiend Soldier!' Jack commanded, the Warrior Lady grabbed her sword and cut the Fiend in half.

'I choose not to Banish D.D. Warrior Lady.' Jack stated.

'One facedown card, turn end.' Jack said as his reversed card appeared on the Field

(Errol: 4400) - (Jack: 2300)

Errol drew his card he thought for a moment. 'I cannot attack D.D. Warrior Lady, her effect will Banish Yubel before Yubel can activate her effect.' He muttered.

'If you not gonna make a move I activate D.D. Dynamite!' Jack shouted and his Trap spun around some explosives appeared around Errol. 'Now you take 300 points of damage for each Banished cards and that are eleven.' Jack said with a grin, the explosives exploded and Errol screamed.

(Errol: 1100) - (Jack: 2300)

'Urch.' Errol groaned when the smoke cleared.

'I think I go with this and end my turn.' The Necromancer groaned and a facedown card appeared behind Yubel.

'My draw!' Jack shouted he looked at the card and set it facedown immediately.

'Warrior Lady attack Yubel and Banish her once and for all!' Jack commanded.

'Not yet go Fiendish Chain!' Errol shouted and chains shot out of the ground binding D.D. Warrior Lady.

'Now your Lady is stripped of her power.' Errol said with a grin.

'And so I end my turn.' Jack stated.

'Time to end our little struggle.' Errol said.

'I summon Mystic Tomato!' The Necromancer shouted and an evil-looking tomato with a face appeared. (1400 ATK)

'Yubel take out Warrior Lady!' Jack covered his face he heard the screams of Warrior Lady and then felt the darkness wash over him but it didn't hurt him this time.

(Errol: 1100) - (Jack: 300)

'Mystic Tomato end the Duel!' Errol shouted.

'Errol I have a facedown card!' Jack shouted and it spun around.

'Return from the Different Dimension!' Another D.D. Warrior Lady appeared, Jack had discarded it with the effect of Dragon of the Red Lotus. (1500- 2000 ATK)

'I must cancel my attack for now.' Errol muttered and he waved as a sign to end his turn D.D. Warrior Lady disappeared again.

(Errol: 1100) - (Jack: 150)

Jack looked at the card he had drawn.

'And now I shall end this Duel.' Jack said.

'First I play Different Dimension Reincarnation.' Jack stated and the void opened again and D.D. Warrior leaped out he was a young-looking man wearing futuristic armor he carried a sword. (1200- 1700 ATK)

'Next I normal summon Gran Maju Da Eiza!' Another of the Fiends appeared on the Field. (0- 4000 ATK) The Orichalcos also appeared on the head of the creature. (4500 ATK)

'I can end this by taking out Mystic Tomato, but first I shall set Yubel free, D.D. Warrior attack Yubel!' Jack shouted and the warrior charged in.

'Use your effect Warrior and Banish Yubel before she can use her effect!' D.D. Warrior slashed the air around Yubel and the sky cracked open Yubel was sucked through the void followed by the Warrior, Gren Maju rose to a power of 4900.

At that moment the soul of the normal Yubel appeared next to Jack.

'Jaden.' The confused Duel Spirit spoke.

'I am not Jaden Yubel this man used your soul for his personal gain.'

'Kill him.' Yubel said while she looked at Jack.

'Yes Yubel your soul is still trapped here but the moment I end this a void shall open to take you don't resist it will take you back to Jaden.'

Yubel did not reply.

'Errol this is it Gren Maju attack Mystic Tomato and end this!' Jack shouted Gren Maju charged in it grabbed Mystic Tomato and slowly started to devour it.

(Errol: 0) - (Jack: 150)

Jack let out a loud roar when the Orichalcos passed through him the seal removed itself from his forehead.

'You haven't win this war Jack!' Errol shouted.

'I am a Necromancer! I command death!'

Errol's skin slowly turned to ash until only bones remain they fell to the ground the cold laughter of Errol filled the room when the bones fell apart in black mist.

Jack took the Orichalcos cards Errol had dropped, Jack took one of the cards and put it in his Deck he tore the rest apart.

'No more of these cards only the Thalmor who had one still have them but they are the responsibility for the Blades.' Jack turned around and walked away. 'Yes I'm taking down Akatosh he forced this upon me and if I do the true powers of the Dragonborn will be mine.'

Back in the vampire castle Sirius sat on the ground his back turned to the girl it seems he was asleep but he was just resting a bit. The girl slowly opened her eyes, she groaned and tried to stand up Sirius looked around he quickly knelt next to her, Sirius softly pushed her back.

'Please stay down.' He said in a kind voice the girl suddenly started to cry.

'Calm down, calm down it is okay you are safe.' He whispered meanwhile he took some pain killers and gave them to the girl. 'This shall ease the pain.'

Suddenly the girl started to shake all over her body Sirius carefully embraced her.

'Its gonna be okay you are at the Court of Lord Harkon, all who are here are vampires like you, nobody here will hurt you.'

The girl looked at Sirius. 'By the way I am Sirius.' Sirius said.

'The big and ugly guy there is Grimsley, the skinny guy next to Grimsley is Eddy and the one in the black armor is Lord Volkihar.' Sirius said to the girl. 'And I am Lyla.' The girl softly said before she passed out again.

While Jack is fighting Errol Juliet and Leo fight another battle.

Lucien Black the root of evil.

But will it do any good? Jack has fallen to the darkness and the Blades need to get him back. 'Legend of Heart' coming next.
