July 29th 2014:
Dez's POV
We all slowly slumped towards our apartment doors quietly. Austin kept his arm around Ally as they walked slowly with annoyed faces.
"Next time we go on mission, let's not go through the sewage." Ally said keeping a grossed-out expression on her face.
"Hey, we got the flash drive with the information. That's a win for the-" I began.
"For the what?" Trish asked.
"Come on. It's been two years and we still don't have a team name?" I asked in shock. "Okay, you know what, you guys go relax and I'll come up with our team name."
"Dez, man, go shower. You stink of sewage." Austin said opening the apartment and letting go of Ally. He waved, smiled sweetly and walked into the flat.
"Well you don't smell so nice either." I said bitterly as I took my shoes off and held them with two fingers. "I think I'm going to throw out everything I'm wearing." I said scrunching up my nose.
"Good idea dude. I'm going for a shower." Austin walked into his bedroom and locked the door.
"So what would be an awesome team name?" I asked myself.
June 15th 2017:
Dez's POV
I sat in the conference with General Moon almost dazing off. Mr and Mrs Moon were sitting across from me. Yes, Austin and Ally are married. It's weird for me to comprehend still, but it's only been a few months so I guess it should be weird. I'm used to them being together, but I still can't grasp the fact that Austin and Ally are- well, married.
Austin had his arm casually resting around her shoulder. Trish was sitting next to Ally, taking notes as usual. Trish and I do still like each other, I just never got the chance [or the bravery] to ask her out on a date.
And through my awkward dazing during this long lecture about the etiquette of using laser cutters on missions, I started thinking again, "What is our team name?" Everyone stopped and stared at me.
"Yes, Dez?" General Moon asked bringing more attention to me.
"I think he asked what our team name is." Trish said- STILL taking notes.
"Wait. I said that OUT LOUD?" I asked feeling my face turn as red as my strawberry ginger hair. Everyone just chuckled as General Moon continued his lecture.
And through my embarrassment, I was left alert for only a few seconds until I started dazing off again.
But this time, I was awoken by a loud, unbearably loud, blow horn that General Moon blew in my ear. "And for the FIFTH time, we now have to evacuate the area as it will be exploded in approximately ten minutes." General Moon said as we started vacating.
I quickly got up and pulled out my tranquilizing gun, "The Sonic Boom is going to blown up and you are so calm about this?" I screamed as I quickly began to walk out.
"Dez, have you not noticed that one, us five are the only people here. Two, all the instruments upstairs are gone, three, all the computers and armory are gone other than these four chairs that I'm willing to sacrifice?" The General asked quietly.
We all got out and began walking quickly to the car park. I got into the back seat, sitting next to Austin and Ally. Trish sat in the front seat, still taking notes. General Moon drove quickly; once we were far from the place, but could still see it, we watched quietly.
"Dad, if I may ask, why are you telling us about this now. You said we were being transferred to DC and that the base is closing down but you never told us about the exploding until now." And just as Austin finished talking, we all looked up to see our Sonic Boom base go down in flames.
"How did you know?" Ally asked looking at General Moon through the mirror as she hugged Austin tightly and buried her face in his chest.
"Ally, three years ago, a little blonde boy came here. He said he was from the future and I don't exactly know who he is, but he proved to me that he was from the future. The took me here, to this exact time, and we hid behind that blue car behind us, and watched the Sonic Boom go up in flames. I was supposed to remember this- he told me that this was the only way to defeat Vector" General Moon said.
"Vector found out about the base about two hours ago, they sent their main teams including the director to the Sonic Boom. Since I knew about this, the only way to end this war, was to end the Sonic Boom. Vector is in there right now, and I had to click the self destruct button from my phone in order to defeat them, finally."
General Moon out down his window as another General Moon started walking towards us. Trish handed present day General Moon the notes and gave it to the 2014 General. Behind him, was a little blonde kid- his head barely reaching to the 2014 General's belt. "Here are the notes," present day General said to his younger self. "You know what to do." 2014 General Moon smiled as the little boy behind him shut his eyes tightly and flashed out.
Sorry for such a late update! I've been away at summer camp!
