I'm back again! I finished most of the chapter just now before posting. I've been exhausted from college and projects.
Unedited, but the edited one will be posted soon enough.
The fluffy fluff fluff ends here. There will be fluff, but not as much as in these last two chapters. Sorry.
Please read after the chapter for an important author's note.
Disclaimer: I do not own Glee, Harry Potter or any of its characters.

Harry didn't know what to expect when Kurt invited him to the garage. He had definitely imagined Kurt wearing only overalls and nothing else more than once, but at the same time, he had never seen people at work in a garage, much less Kurt. And Kurt, Kurt was radiant in whatever he did, be it singing or working in the garage.
It was like Kurt and his Dad had synchronized their actions perfectly. They both examined different cars at the same time, and took the tools accordingly. He watched carefully as Kurt hammered out a dent in the hood of a Mercedes with light pats of a mallet. He watched in awe as Burt was able to sense a problem in the engine with the color of the oils he touched. His mouth was wide open as Kurt used a roller bed to go under a car. As Kurt reached up to look at something, he looked like he was thrusting upwards and Harry took care not to show any of the thoughts in his head on his face.
About three hours later, they were finally done. Burt wiped his face off a rag used to clean the grease. Harry watched on as Kurt made a tsk-tsk noise and wiped it off his cheek. Burt then told Kurt, "Use the shower and the extra clothes here itself. If you go home, I'm pretty sure your moisturizing routine will last beyond dinner time."
Harry saw Kurt frown but he looked at Kurt intently till it turned into a nice smile. He smiled widely as Kurt gave him a quick peck on the cheek and ran into the office.

Kurt was ready earlier than Harry expected. Harry got out their coats while Kurt said his byes to his Dad and they then left. Kurt walked to his car immediately, but Harry stopped him and gestured to the coat. Kurt opened his arms, and Harry put the coat on him. It felt quite domestic and sweet.
Kurt gave him a peck on the cheek and pressed the button to unlock his baby. He then asked Harry, "What do you feel like having?"
Harry said, "Italian, maybe? I haven't had pasta in a long while."
Kurt suggested, "Olive Garden, maybe? Do you like it there?"
Harry nodded as Kurt confirmed, "Olive Garden, it is, then."
They didn't put on the radio, instead talking to each other like they normally did. When they reached the restaurant, Harry jumped out of the car and opened Kurt's door for him. Kurt blushed a bit, but let his hand be held as he climbed out of the car himself.
However, when they walked up to the podium where the hostess was standing, Kurt took the initiative by asking, "Table for two, please?"
Surprisingly, the hostess didn't frown at two boys asking for a table. She actually smiled and got them one which looked cozy, comfortable, and had a good view as well. Harry thanked her graciously. He had had horrible dates outside, including the one at Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop which he never wanted to remember.
He held Kurt's hand and said, "I'm glad that you agreed to this. I don't know what I would have done if you had refused."
Kurt just scoffed. "Seeing how we both knew our feelings for each other, that shouldn't have been a problem. You should have more confidence in yourself, Harry."
Harry just nodded. The waiter came up to them and asked for their orders. Kurt ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana while Harry ordered the Ravioli. They ate it with much relish and took tastes from the other's dish as well.
After their dessert orders were given, Harry suddenly remembered the issue he wanted to talk to Kurt about.
He said, "Hey Kurt, I wanted to ask this during the party, but didn't. You hadn't texted or answered any of my calls for two weeks before that. What happened? Had I done something that I didn't realize? Hermione always told me I had a thick head and didn't realize things until they were explained to me."
Harry observed that he hadn't flinched at the thought of Hermione and was happy that he had made some progress. However, Kurt tried to deflect again, by saying, "Nah, it's nothing now. Not a big deal."
Harry pressed on, "It must have been something, because I remember seeing you at the Lima Bean with your friends and wanted to join, but I didn't want to intrude. Is something happening at that school of yours?"
Kurt looked conflicted and opened his mouth to say something when the waiter came again with a raspberry cheesecake for Kurt and a chocolate mousse cake for him.
Kurt said, "Nothing more than the usual. It's not a big thing."
Harry asked, "Is Karofsky doing something again? I can go talk to him, if you want."
"I DON'T NEED YOU TO FIGHT MY BATTLES, HARRY!"
Harry was taken aback as Kurt shouted at him. Even Kurt realized how loud he was when most of the nearby tables looked at him. Kurt calmed down and whispered, "Let's just enjoy our date, can we?"
Harry didn't want to let it go, but he didn't want to ruin what would be a happy memory, so he changed the topic by trying to sneak some of the cheesecake from Kurt and failing. As Kurt took pity on him and fed him a bite of the cheesecake, neither of them noticed a bulky figure looking at them for a split second, and then walking away.
