Third Person PoV
When Rat walked out of the Archives unharmed a little while after Willow, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
"I was sure everything was okay when I didn't hear any explosions." Stephanie said defensively, trying not to make it look like she cared about him, this whole adventure was taking the edge off her tomboyish attitude, and her feeling toward Yaebi weren't exactly helping either, but that she couldn't help.
Cupa was still cowering in fear from Miss Prettywhiskers, who was rubbing against her leg. She let out a small yelp and the moment the cat walked off, she ran back inside, as well as some of the others. In the end, only Steve, Andr, Yaebi and Cindy were out on the street, and they all decided to enter the Archives and find a way to the End. During their stay in the ruins of Arachnoss City, they had built up enough of a force to have a fighting chance against the boss mobs and Herobrine, and put things right. After several hours of searching, they had come up with nothing though.
"How do we get to the End? We can't use a portal, there's no way we'll be able to find a stronghold before Valerie and Willow destroy the city! They've already destroyed Arachnoss City and Gravestone City, and now San Grenadia and Halfskull City are going down too." Steve said as the team watched the news on the TV, it talked about the massive invasions happening simultaneously to the capitals of the Creeper and Skeleton Kingdoms, armies of monsters tearing down each metropolis to its foundations, fire and explosions spreading across them, the flames as high as the tallest skyscrapers that still stood. Cupa and Cindy were the worst affected, they had seen what these monsters had to done to the spiders, the zombies were quickly following, despite their efforts the zombies crops were failing, and many of them had died of wounds or starvation. Now the creepers and skeletons were in danger too, and that scared all of them.
"We need to get out of here, they'll be here next to tear down this city once they're done with the other cities." Steve said grimly.
They all ran outside and got the shock of their lives. In the gloomy night sky, silhouetted by the moon, was none other than Valerie and Willow.
"Games up. Time to die like the rest of your pathetic kinds." Valerie said to the team.
"Why are you doing this? Herobrine will destroy the world anyway if he gets out, there's really no need to kill us or the Ender Kingdom!" Cindy said angrily to them. Apparently she was trying to tell them not to destroy the city, it might give them a little more time to plan their next move. The problem was, it didn't work.
"I like this. Destroying cities, hearing the people below me screaming in terror as their world dies, I love every minute of it. And I'm going to love watching you die." Valerie replied, and readied herself to slash the air with her wing, which would create a shockwave that would kill them all at once. She was just about to do when…
"Stop." Willow said to her sister.
"What? Why are you trying to stop me? Whose side are you on?"
"Ours, but I don't want to kill them just yet. Take them prisoner and show them to Father, he should be the one to end them after all the trouble they've caused."
Valerie thought for a second, and then responded.
"Fine, it might make up for all the trouble I've caused him. But they can sit back and watch the show!" She smiled evilly, and flew off into the side of the largest skyscraper in the city, smashing it in half and catching the top half as it fell, then throwing it into the streets below. Willow frowned, then flew up too and dropped wither bolts onto the roads and nearby buildings. There was nowhere for Steve, Yaebi and the girls to go, all they could do was watch as Helix City was reduced to the same state as all the other capitals before…
