DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN OURAN IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM

"Hey I'm back," said Haruhi walking into the apartment.

"Were the girls still there?" Kaoru asked anxious.

"Yes," Haruhi assured him, "Their mother was trying to make a break for it but lucky Kyoya's guard was able to stop them long enough to let me show up in time and hand her the forms." Kaoru gave off a sigh of relief.

"I'm glad we got to her before she could leave with the girls!" he said, "Do you still think we have a shot to getting the girls back?"

"I like to think so," said Haruhi, "I you still want to get them back."

"Of course I do!" Kaoru insisted, "Or at the very least get them away from their mother. I don't think she's that great of a mother personally!"

"I don't either," said Haruhi, "But hopefully we'll be able to prove all that come the court date."

"What do we do in the meantime?" asked Kaoru.

"I'm not sure," said Haruhi. She was startled by the feeling of Kaoru's hand on her leg.

"I hope you won't find this a bit nasty," he said, "But we haven't well, you know, in a while…," Haruhi gave off a sigh.

"Sure why not? It'll help let off some steam huh?" she agreed as she stood up and went with Kaoru.

"Where are they? Where are they?" Kaoru kept asking out loud the day of the court hearing.

"Kaoru they're not going to be allowed in the courtroom at the moment," Haruhi told him as she and the other lawyer helping , Mr. Hosa, went over the different files and evidence Haruhi had managed to get in regard to the case.

"Okay but where is Qi?" asked Kaoru.

"Knowing her she's going to make some sort of grand entrance," said Haruhi. As if on cue, the woman did finally walk in. The way she was dressed it was if someone had died. She was wearing all black complete with a black hat and veil. She was carefully dabbing her eyes with a tissue. Her lawyer was doing her best to comfort her. Haruhi had to stand up to get a good look at the woman.

"Oh no," she muttered.

"What, what is it?" asked Kaoru.

"That's Aoi Junan," said Haruhi.

"Oh crap, not her!" said Mr. Hosa, "I've heard about her. She's really good at playing the poor damsel in distress card in regards to the women she represents."

"I wonder how Qi could afford her," said Kaoru.

"All rise," said the bailiff, "The honorable Judge Azukaru preceding."

An old man with a mustache came walking into the courtroom.

"Please be seated, "Next case is the custody hearing for the twins Girls Xing Xing and Li Ming Tao."

"Your honor I would like to move for a mistrial," Miss Junan spoke up.

"On what grounds?" asked the judge.

"That's these people have no real claim to my clients beloved daughters," said Miss Junan.

"Your honor I'd like to object to such a notion," said Mr. Hosa standing up, "My clients have every right to seek custody over these girls given the fact they have been the girls' standing guardians for over two months. A time period in which they had no contact what so ever with Miss Junan's client."

"Is that true?" asked the judge.

"It was only because my client couldn't get in contact with them," said Miss Junan.

"That's not true either your honor," said Mr. Hosa, "I have it on good record that my client made many attempts to contact the mother, mostly out of concern for the children. One of them often had nightmares when she first came to live with my client about her mother. So he thought it was best to try and contact her to see if she could offer up some sort of condolence for the girl. But she never once returned his calls. In fact the only time they hear from her was when he and his fiancée called requesting to gain full custody of them."

"It wasn't like she couldn't call, she was too afraid to your honor," Miss Junan spoke up. At that Qi started dabbing her eyes again, "It's no big secret that the man, Mr. Hitachiin has certain negative feelings towards my client. She felt intimidated and frightened about what would happen should she call him back. It was only with the threat of loosing her daughters that she might be loosing her daughters that she finally managed to work up the courage to call the man back."

"Your honor, my client never did anything to try and intimidate the woman when he called her. All he wanted to know is where she was for the sake of the girls," Mr. Hosa insisted.

"Your honor I'd like to show you some interesting files in regard to Mr. Hitachiin," said Miss Junan laying files down on the judge's desk, "As you can see, over the past three years Mr. Hitachiin has done some very shady and otherwise disgraceful activities. Yet he seems to think that after two months of good behavior is enough for him to let him keep custody of two little girls?"

"As oppose to your client who, over the past three years, has constantly been dumping these girls with other men each time claiming they were the father. In fact she only waited two weeks before dumping the girls on my client's door steps after another man discovered he was not the father to the girls like she claimed?" Mr. Hosa pointed out, "You honor I will admit my client has done some questionable activities over the past three years, but I should also point out no one was ever hurt with these activities. Nor did he ever do anything like simply abandon his daughters with complete strangers for long periods of time. The woman doesn't even have a permanent residence to hold the girls. And if her past has any indication, she'll simply abandon them again with some other man. My clients are willing to offer up the girls a good home, a stable home. They even took the initiative to send the girls to school. How much education has the mother done to help her girls? I should also point out that the girls are actually attending Ouran Academy at the moment. This school can offer them up the best in education and preparing them for the future. What kind of future can this woman offer up for the girls when she's constantly dumping the girls off with random strangers?"

"They're not random strangers," Miss Junan insisted, "They happen to be men my client was led to believe were in fact her daughters' real father."

"So she has no real clue as to who the real father is?" asked Mr. Hosa, "Why can't she figure it our for sure?"

"My client has lost of love to give. When a man sleeps around he's considered a stud yet a woman isn't allowed to enjoy more then one man's company?" asked Miss Junan.

"How could your client even start to think that my client was the father though when she would have been two months pregnant already when she slept with him?" asked Mr. Hosa, "Oh I'm sorry not slept with, drugged and raped!"

"Drugged and raped?" Judge Azukaru repeated.

"Yes, my client was drugged and most likely raped by my client," said Mr. Hosa, "She has been found with that drug on her person before. Who's to say she'll never try anything to drug her daughters?"

"Objection, Speculation!" Miss Junan snapped, "And those drugs are not harmful. They merely make a person feel drunk without having to consume alcohol."

"Then why is it used as a rape drug?" asked Mr. Hosa, "And why did your client use it to drug my client without even telling him?"

"He looked nervous waiting for his girlfriend to show up. I thought he could use a relaxed," Qi spoke up.

"Qi not now," said Miss Junan, "Your honor my client is the victim in all of this. She's been trying to make a life for herself and her daughters. But it's hard to do as a single mother. A lot of these men made her feel like she could trust them so why shouldn't she try relying on them in helping her to achieve her goal to make a better life to her and her children?"

"Well couldn't she had asked that from the start when she brought to the girls to Mr. Hitachiin's door?" asked Mr. Hosa.

"Like I said before, the man intimidated her. She felt timid around him," said Miss Junan.

"Yet she felt it was safe enough to leave her girls with him?" asked Mr. Hosa.

"She was desperate and had to do something to get what she wanted for the three of them!" said Junan, "She had to do something. She knew she'd be back eventually. She loves her girls and she always comes back for them. Please your honor; the girls are the only good thing she has in her life. Don't take them away from her."

The judge thought about it for a moment.

"You both seem to offer up a good argument," he said at last, "I would however like to talk to the girls alone for a moment if that's alright. The attorneys can be present, but the three clients will have to watch through the monitor." He stood up and walked out fallowed by the two lawyers.

"Please fallow me," said one of the bailiffs leading the three parents out of the courtroom to a different room.

Haruhi made sure to hold Kaoru's hand as they walked together since she could see Kaoru casting Qi some very angry looks.

They were soon all seated and the bailiff turned on the TV in the room. There they saw the two girls sitting together looking board holding hands.

"My poor girls," said Qi.

"Your poor girls?" Kaoru muttered.

"Not now," Haruhi advised. Just then they could hear the judge and lawyers coming into the room.

"Hello girls," said Judge Azukaru, "How are you?"

"Board," muttered Xing Xing.

"Well hopefully we'll be able to get this over with soon," said the judge, "now I have a quick question for you. Do you know who your daddy is?" The girls were quite for a moment.

"Daddy with Haru," said Xing Xing finally, "Haru going to be good mommy."

"Bitch," Haruhi and Kaoru heard Qi muttered.

"I hope she's not referring to you!" Kaoru muttered.

"Shh," said Haruhi.

"But Momma," Li Ming spoke up, "Momma loves us."

"Do you like Haruhi too Li Ming?" the judge asked.

"Haru nice, want her as mommy too, but also love Momma," said Li Ming.

"Momma bad mommy!" Xing Xing insisted, "Want Haru and Daddy!"

"I want Momma and Haru too," Li Ming insisted, "But I also want Momma."

"Would you want stay with your daddy and Haruhi?" asked Judge Azukaru.

"Yes!" said Xing Xing.

"No," Li Ming admitted, "I want Momma too."

"I see," said the judge.

"Oh honey you're such a good girl. Not like your sister at all," said Qi.

"Poor Li Ming, this must be so confusing to her," said Haruhi.

"The judge will see you now back in the courtroom," said the bailiff. The three adults head out and back to the courtroom where the judge and their lawyers were already waiting.

"I have spoken to the girls and I'm afraid I cannot still make a good decision as to who I should allow to take the girls," said the judge, "Both of you have some skeletons in your closet that doesn't really speak well to you character. Therefore I am going to postpone my decision until Monday to give me the weekend to think it over. In the meantime I will allow the twins to remain with their mother."

"Oh thank you your honor!" said Qi.

"However Miss Tao, I must advise that you stay where you are and not try fleeing. If you do, I will consider you a fugitive and immediately give custody to Mr. Hitachiin, and throw the book at you!"

"Uh yes your honor," said Qi.

"Good case dismissed," said Azukaru banging his gavel.

"Oh hey!" Kaoru called out to Qi as they walked out of the courtroom, "Just in case you don't take the judge's warning seriously, your little friend in black will make sure you don't flee!"

"Kaoru!" said Haruhi.

"Are threatening my client?" asked Miss Junan.

"No I'm sorry," said Kaoru, "It was just a little friendly advice."

"Daddy!" Xing Xing suddenly shouted as she came out of the room she and Li Ming had been brought out of the room they had been in. She managed to wiggle her way away from the officer holding her hand and flung herself at him. Kaoru held her close.

"Daddy I want to go home with you!" she muttered into his shirt.

"I know I want you to come home with me too," said Kaoru, "Hopefully you'll be able to come Monday."

"Want to go now!" Xing Xing insisted.

"Yeah well you can't," said Qi grabbing her daughter, "Now come on let's go home now!"

"Go ahead and go with your bad mommy for now," Kaoru whispered to Xing Xing, "But make sure you give her hell in the process." Xing Xing looked up and smiled at the idea before letting her mother take her.

"Xing Xing let's go!" Qi said to her other daughter.

"Li Ming," said Kaoru Haruhi Xing Xing and Li Ming.

"Whatever let's just go," said Qi offering up her other hand. Li Ming however ran over to Kaoru and Haruhi.

"Daddy," she said, "I still like you and want to be with you."

"I know honey, I do too," said Kaoru patting her hand.

"But I like Momma too," said Li Ming looking at her like she was confused.

"We know honey," said Haruhi, "it's fine. Now go with your Momma for now and we'll see you on Monday okay?" She gave Li Ming a hug.

"Bye Haru," said Li Ming before walking back to her mother. Qi shot them a dirty look.

"Don't think you can sweet talk them like that!" she said, "They're mine girls and I am not loosing them to you!"

"We're not loosing them to you either!" Kaoru insisted, "Even if they're not ours!"
