Chapter 33: Lone Star Showdown

October 23rd, at Kurosaki Manor about 10:30 AM

When we last left our drivers they had finished up at India after another victory by Ichigo. In the lead up to the race, they nearly got shot at by a group they suspected had ties to their nemesis Souske.

Now they were going through their meeting before Andrew, Ichigo, Tatsuki and Orihime left for the U.S. Andrew had tickets to a Football game that, while a bit out of the way was far enough ahead of the Austin race that could attend it and still get to the race. Andrew had gotten in contact with Austin Based Rooster Teeth and he and Ichigo would be doing some videos with them and participate in a charity event the day before the race.

"Before we let you go to the airport you four, let us show you the track we will be racing on." Isshin said pulling up the new track.

Ryuken brought out a laser. "The Circuit of The Americas. The first purpose built F1 track in the United States. 3.5 Miles of memory lane designed by Herman Tilke. From the start finish line you climb the hill up to turn one where you brake hard into turn 1. Then a set of S-turns that come from Interlagos until it tightens up for turns 6-9 that pays homage to Silverstone's similar Maggotts-Becketts-Chapel section." The two sections were highlighted and then brought up next to their counterparts with the appropriate sections highlighted.

"After a blind turn 10, you will then head into the Tilke Hairpin 11 before 1 KM straight before approaching a section that mirrors the Hockenheimring stadium section, a series of switch backs for turns 12-16 before a circular turn that is reminiscent of Istanbul's turn 9 for turns 17-18 before a set of left -handers leads on to the pit straight. Overall, I say its great track but there may be some strain on the neck."

Isshin turned to the group and smiled. "We only have three races left. You guys have done great all year. Let's keep it together and we will win this year. Now then, Ichigo Andrew you have a plane to catch. We'll see you in Austin. Have fun."

The two boys nodded and headed to their rooms to grab their suitcases.

Five hours later, they and their girlfriends were boarding their plane. They arrived there three hours before flying and went through security, filling out immigration papers at least for the three Japan born passengers as Andrew was an American citizen.

With their connections and money, they all got first class seats. This gave them seats that folded out into beds and T.V's they could watch stuff on.

Andrew chuckled as he sat down in his seat. They were in a single row of seats with the girls in the middle on the side where their boyfriends were about three rows from the cockpit, with Andrew looking at the gate and Ichigo looking at the terminal. "You know, earlier this year I was on a United flight, similar plane but in economy seating. Let me tell ya it sucked flying from Newark to Tokyo." He said as the stewardess gave him his Coke. He took a sip. "I am used to flying in the Osprey but it's nice to fly commercial once in a while."

Tatsuki groaned. "Do not even get me started on International travel. We had to go to UAE. It was an Emirates A380. We had to get our camera gear through customs and I swore they handled our luggage they were ragdolls. And don't get me started on the seats were near one of the lavatories."

Orihime giggled. "At least the one on Qantas was fine, the pilot's accents were funny."

Tatsuki rolled her eyes at that as Andrew pulled out his phone and turned on the camera.

"Hey there people. It's Andrew Michaels. I am currently in transit to our next race. Now you may be wondering why I am on this lovely 777 instead of our normal plane. Well, I have tickets to the Florida State/Miami game in Tallahassee. So I am now on a plane from Tokyo's Narita Airport to Atlanta and then will drive to Tallahassee from there. Of course like I have been the last eight or so months, I am not alone." He flipped the camera's focus. "I have my lovely girlfriend Tatsuki, my fellow Ace driver Ichigo and his girlfriend Orihime. Say Hi Guys." The three did so. He turned the camera to the back of the plane where people were still coming on board. "Ten months ago I flew to Japan all the way back there. Not fun. Now I get to ride up front. Not bad for a kid from a small town in New Jersey. Also, a small announcement, we will be at Rooster Teeth almost the entirety of next week as they are based out of Austin. So you probably won't be seeing any gaming content from me till then and the fact that we are in the home stretch of the season. Alright, got about 15 minutes till the door closes so later guys see ya in Austin." Andrew said saving the video and sending it to be uploaded."

Twenty minutes later the doors were closed and plane took off into the East.

About six hours into the flight, Orihime blinked her eyes open. The entire cabin was dark and the shades were covering the windows. She stretched her arms out and looked around to see most of the rest of the cabin sleeping.

Looking through the cut out behind her head, (Delta 777's have these in the First Class Cabin to allow them to talk to their neighbors.) She saw Tatsuki snoring cutely.

"Tatsuki-chan?"

The soft voice aroused the karate girl. She flipped on her stomach and looked sleepily at Orihime. "What's up Hime?"

Orihime smiled. "Just wanted to talk."

Tatsuki sighed and rubbed her eyes. "Sure not like I was going to be sleeping anyway."

The princess giggled. She then looked at her long time friend. "We've seen a lot this year. So many adventures, so many memories."

Tatsuki smiled and laid down on her hands. "Yeah, its been an amazing ride. Hard to believe this started because I ran into my boyfriend."

Orihime giggled. "Isn't that how most romances start?"

Tatsuki rolled her eyes. "Shut it." She softened her look. "Would you change anything this year?"

Orihime tapped he lips. "I could deal without our lives being in danger bit. And maybe, only having Ichigo to myself. But Nel has been great. What about you and Soi Fong?"

Tatsuki looked around to see if anyone was paying attention and then answered Orihime. "I will admit, Shaolin wanting to be with Andrew…let's be honest I can be possessive of you and Andrew." Orihime giggled getting Tatsuki to pout. "But Shaolin…I can't explain it. Behind her cold mask, is a woman who wanted someone to love her for her. And I didn't want her hurt at all. Andrew was hesitant to bring her in, but he was more than understanding I suppose. After seeing them nearly die in South Africa, I couldn't bare to lose both of them."

Orihime smiled. "I like this side of you. You used to be so tough and everything not letting anyone in. I think this year changed us for the better."

Tatsuki nodded. "Yeah. What was your favorite moment this year?"

Orihime blushed. "Father's day at Watkins Glen. With what we went through and the day falling after, that day, it made it worthwhile. What about you?"

Tatsuki turned around and looked up at the ceiling of the cabin. "I would say Andrew's win at Germany. I felt like nothing could tear apart our happiness in that moment."

Orihime giggled. "That was awesome. So glad I caught it on camera." She then yawned. "Guess we have a few more hours before we land. Pleasant dreams Tatsuki."

"Hime." Tatsuki called out.

Orihime turned and almost squeaked when Tatsuki snatched a kiss from her. "Pleasant dreams."

Orihime was slightly stunned but smiled and nuzzled into her blanket. Unknown to them, Andrew and Ichigo were awake and listening in with smiles on their face. They adjusted themselves and went back to sleep.

Atlanta two days after the flight (They landed on Wednesday Atlanta Time so now its October 27th) About 7:30 AM

After flying for twelve hours they finally landed in Atlanta. They went through Customs and met with one of Andrew's father's workers who lived nearby and picked them up in Andrew's mustang. After picking it up, had dinner and getting to their fancy hotel, the foursome was dead tired on their feet and after they all showered they went to sleep. They hadn't bothered with clothes when they got into their respective beds, the only cover being the sheets and the two necklaces the girls wore. With the curtains closed and the sign on the door that said do not disturb, they weren't up to leaving the room anytime soon.

Ichigo groaned awake as he blinked his eyes open. Shifting his body so it lay against the backboard, he starting running his hand through Orihime's hair getting a pleased moan out of her.

"Life is strange isn't it?" Ichigo turned to see Andrew staring at the ceiling. "Seven years ago I wouldn't dream of going on trips like this."

Ichigo hummed. "I remember seven months ago, we were much the same positions, only clothed and single. We were talking about life and what our goals were heading into this season."

Andrew chuckled. "Yeah, interesting how life comes full circle." He felt movement and saw Tatsuki moving up his body to kiss him.

"Morning." She said opening her eyes. "I am starving. Think we can order room service?"

Ichigo rolled his eyes and picked up the phone as he was nearest to the phone. A half hour later, the food came and Tatsuki was made to get up and grab a robe to get the food. Seeing Orihime still asleep, Ichigo grabbed some bacon and held it up to her nose. There was laughter as Orihime followed in a trance and snapped up the bacon.

"Mou…don't be mean." Orihime said pouting and they settled down for breakfast. Twenty minutes later they were now flipping through the channels to watch something.

"Hey, me and Hime were talking on the plane. We were talking about our memorable moments this year. Hime said it was the Ichigo's win at the Glen after what that weekend put you two through. I said it was Andrew's win in Germany. Though I wish you guys would stop getting into so many reckless accidents."

Andrew sighed. "You want to know what we thought our best memories are. Well First wins are definitely up there. Australia and Abu Dhabi."

Ichigo nodded. "Let's see, the win at Watkins Glen is definitely up there. I think celebrating Tanabata this year."

Orihime gasped getting Ichigo to smile. "My best memories didn't have to happen on the track."

Andrew hummed. "Well I got some memories I want to forget. Our fight in Russia was definitely one of them. Glad we set each other straight. Racing at Indy and Daytona has always been a dream of mine. But best memory, was the win at Abu Dhabi. I wanted to prove I could win and now I am in a position to win the whole thing." He chuckled. "Look at us. Two couples, so close to each other we don't have to worry about barriers. When the season began you could barely get me to open up." He sighed. "Ah well, whatever happens the next couple of races will happen."

The two couples got comfy and were content in being in bed for a while."

Saturday, October 29th, Tallahassee, Florida about 7:30 PM

After a day's travels from Atlanta to Tallahassee, they were now inside the famous Doak Campbell Stadium. Earlier in the day, the two boys were guest pickers on the show that led up to game and the crowd was ecstatic to see Andrew leading them in the team cheer. Several hours of tailgating and touring the campus later, they were now in the stands decked out in Florida State t-shirts waiting as the crowd built up to capacity.

"How many fans are going to be here? There's got to be nearly 90,000 people here?" Tatsuki asked.

"92,500. Every single seat filled to capacity especially considering that Miami is one of Florida State's rivals. Races can be loud but that's mostly the cars, they can drown out the fans and the fans are mostly spread out. Here, its 92,500 screaming fans and most of them are FSU fans."

"With both teams undefeated, there is definitely a lot on the line here." Ichigo said throwing his two cents in. Considering he was on the same show as Ichigo, he did some research as well.

Before more could be said, the band started taking the field. The non-FSU fans saw the huge band, considered the largest Marching band in the world. They went through each of the cheers then the National Anthem and then the teams took the field. If they thought hearing Engines were loud, the newcomers were treated to the site of 90,000 fans cheering and doing the famous Tomahawk Chop like they were going to war, which in a way they were. The team clad in Garnet and Gold raced onto the field led by their mascot Osceola and Renegade.

Those cheers instantly turned to boos as Miami took the field and you could taste the hatred for this team.

"GO BACK TO THE SWAMPS YOU FREAKIN BIRDS!" Andrew yelled.

"Uh what?" Ichigo asked.

"Their mascot is an Ibis. It's a bird that flees in anticipation of a storm." Andrew explained as the coin toss happened and then the kickoff happened with Miami taking the ball first. In the first couple of drives, three things were apparent. One was the hate between the two teams was mutual as there were nearly a couple of brawls on the field. Two, Florida State's defense was no joke and one of the reasons they were in 5th place in the current polls. Three, the crowd could get louder and Andrew was definitely going to be hoarse in the morning. At the end of the first quarter, it was 10-3 Seminoles.

Andrew groaned. "Every single time it's the same thing. I seriously hope it doesn't come down to our kicker. We have a bad history with our kicker and this rivalry." Andrew said sitting down. He looked at his friends. "Sorry, I can get caught up in the moment."

"You think?" Tatsuki growled. She softened her look. "I understand. Kind of get the same way when it comes to MMA fights."

Andrew nodded. "That will be something. Anyway, you guys want anything?"

After getting their orders, Andrew and Orihime headed down to the snack bar.

As the second quarter began, the Florida State ran a run play that was completely stopped.

"Oh boo hoo, poor running back cant get his run game going." A very snide voice said. Tatsuki and Ichigo turned around and spotted the heckler. It was a man wearing Miami colors and based on his expression he had a bit of alcohol in his system.

Tatsuki waited until there was a break in the action, listening as the heckler insulted the team and then turned around. "Excuse me sir, we are trying to watch a game. Please keep your comments to yourself."

The man looked at Tatsuki and sneered. "Listen, why don't you and your big tity friend go home, you don't belong here. Actually scratch that, how about you leave and have your friend stay here."

This got Ichigo to sit up. "Hey! Leave my girlfriend out of this. Why don't you shut up and watch the game."

The man growled. "What are you her boyfriend?"

"No I am." Andrew said from the aisle. This got the man to slightly pale but grinned. "So what? I bet your weak in the sack. You Seminole bitches need a real man."

Andrew looked behind him and saw Tatsuki about to speak

"I don't want to fight but I am going to give you three options. You sit down and shut up for the rest of the game, you leave on a stretcher or you leave in handcuffs." She spoke in an angry voice.

The man laughed. "It's a free country, I can say what I want to say."

Andrew looked over his shoulder and smiled. "Option 3 it is."

"Is there a problem gentleman?" An officer walked up to the bickering men.

"My apologies officer. This man was making inappropriate and sexual remarks to my friends here." Tatsuki said.

The officer looked at the crowd. "Is this true?"

The pro-Seminole crowd around them agreed getting the man to sputter.

"Sir, I am going to have ask you to come with me." The officer said as a couple more appeared.

The man was aghast at what he considered a Seminole Slut. It may have been the alcohol, but his next move was not going to end well. As he walked towards the officers, he turned and leaped towards Tatsuki who had turned around. If it wasn't for Andrew grabbing his shirt when he saw the lunge, Tatsuki and Orihime would have been hurt. Thanks to the grab, he fell onto the bleachers and some of the nearby fans started to join into make sure he didn't do anything. A few moments of struggle later, the man was led away in handcuffs and the crowd cheered not just from the arrest but from the fact FSU scored again.

After calming down, a man in the row in front of them turned to the group. "You are one tough lady, as far as I'm concerned you are a Nole through and through."

Tatsuki rubbed her head. "Oh that. Well, I would have done a lot worse if I didn't have my boyfriend with me, he keeps me grounded."

Another man turned to Andrew. "You got yourself a good one young man."

"Thanks, let's hope we don't get any more of those idiots. The only reason why I didn't punch the idiot senseless was because of the police."

"Oh don't worry about that we would have vouched for ya."

Andrew smiled and looked at his girlfriend. "I think you made an impression on our fellow fans."

Tatsuki giggled. "You mess us you get the boot." This got the group around them to laugh.

After that they finally settled down and Florida State eventually pulled away and won 31-17, something Andrew was entirely grateful for. By the end of the game, Andrew's friends were on the path to becoming FSU fans, if them doing the Tomahawk chop was any indication.

Sunday, October 30th, Hiroshima Japan

Aizen slammed his phone down. That was the fourth potential buyer that said they didn't want to buy his team or a stake in his company. He tossed the papers onto the floor and took a hard drink of his Whiskey. His company, as much as he wanted to deny it, would not make it to the end of the year and the markets were starting to take notice. With his company in so much debt, his company's credit rating was near junk status. He was forced to announce that he was seeking a buyer for several which stemmed the flow of stock price from dropping for a little while.

This wasn't the worse part of it. The arrests that he had expected to come started the previous week. A couple of his division heads in Europe were arrested and the subsidiary was now being bought out by a company in France. A few others were also being investigated and were being audited.

On the illegal side of things, his backed governments in Nigeria and in Burma had collapsed and replaced with more democratically elected governments. His rebel army in the Republic of the Congo was routed, and the terrorists groups he funded in the Middle East was now being rooted out by several task forces. Even some of the gangs he was covertly backing were starting to be routed out and some of the politicians in countries like the U.S and the U.K had investigated for fraud, their campaigns on the ropes.

Aizen started to chuckle sinisterly. One plan was coming to fruition and that was the fact that the current market fluctuation was a result of him dumping money and selling of subsidiaries scared everyone in the markets and caused the influential markets like the Dow, the Nissei, The London Exchange to crash. The so-called Energy bubble had burst as a result and a lot of energy companies were feeling the crunch at the moment. This sent other sectors into a frenzy and the resulting chaos caused the markets to plunge.

As of Thursday, America and Britain were in a recession, which while inconvenient, was expected by several analysts for months. Aizen though was hoping to use this to buy up Kurosaki and Kuchiki holdings but without the capital to do so, he couldn't make a move without raising suspicions.

Speaking of suspicions, he was starting to think there was something going against him. Since August, there have been an increasing amount of his plans have been snuffed out before the plans could be unleashed. It was almost like someone was reading his messages and his personal logs.

Stopping his thought process at that, he thought about who could potentially read his files when all of his files were encrypted. He immediately went back into the files and checked the log ins. Looking through them, there were four discrepancies. The most recent one showed that his files were accessed two weeks ago, after China. It showed it being accessed around 10:45 PM. He knew he was at home when that occurred. The other two times were also after he went home, indicating someone stayed after and potentially hacked their way in. The last one was what stuck out and oddly it was the first one. This entry was back in August during the break period and it occurred in the Early Morning hours of August 12th. That would be unusual except he was nowhere near his personal computer. He checked where the entry came from and discovered it was from the U.S but could not figure out where in the U.S it was from due to the security the hacker employed.

Aizen rubbed his chin. Who would have the resources to do that and who would have enough of a grudge to pull it off. He immediately eliminated the three American Teams as they had nothing to truly gain from earning his ire. As he went through the number of people who could do this, one name kept popping up. Andrew Michaels was well known as a Youtuber, so he had some knowledge of editing and programming. There was a chance he knew some basic hacking, but to get through that amount of security, he would need some help.

At that he stopped his thought processes. Youtubers while increasing in popularity, were still a tight niche group. There would not have been a lot of people he would know that could pull this off with Andrew, at least in the time frame this breach had occurred. But he did remember him posting about a livestream around the time with the group The Runaway Guys. Would one of them have helped? No. Even if one of the associated channels were there, there was a chance it was from one of their houses.

That was immediately tossed with a quick look up of those channels and revealed the three were in three completely different parts of the American Continent, areas that Andrew would not go to without a good reason. That meant Andrew had to get something related to his servers, which could not be accessed remotely without a drive. Which meant someone in his organization gave it to him or gave it to someone close to Andrew.

He stood up out of the chair and walked out of his office. He needed to talk to his race team, he needed to lay down what he expected next week. As he stormed out of the office he was unaware of a certain fox man's grin as he made a phone call.

Circuit of The Americas, Austin, Texas, November 3rd about 11:00AM US Central Time

The four traveling drivers drove up to the gate of the track. Behind them were four other cars that were cleared by track security to come onto the track and also had garage passes to the race on Sunday. These cars contained key members of Rooster Teeth, the gaming company that Andrew, Ichigo, Orihime and Tatsuki had visited the last four days.

Pulling up to a familiar plane, Andrew climbed out and smiled as some of the crew came out.

Just then some swearing came from one of the trailing cars. "God damn it Ryan, you drive like a maniac." Said a New Jersey accented voice. "This isn't GTA."

The presumed Ryan stepped out of the driver's seat. "Hehehe, soon I will be ready to race with the big boys. Sorry Michael, but it was too much to pass up."

Before Michael could speak up a female voice calmed him down. "Michael chill. We are here to make an impression with the Kurosaki team."

Michael relaxed as the other members of the car, a heavy set bearded man and a short guy with sunglasses popped out of the car. Out of a second car was a middle aged man that looked drunk, a man with a very large nose who immediately started to pull out his camera to record the area around the plane, a pretty black hired woman, a blonde woman and a little girl with highlighted hair. In the third car, a man with glasses popped out of the drivers seat, out of the passenger's side stood a younger brunette, out of the back was a portly Hispanic, a tall lanky man and another relatively tall man that had an air of coolness and reminded the drivers of Isshin, their CEO. In the last car, a blond woman stepped out with a very pretty brunette and a nice looking black haired woman.

(If you guys don't know who these are, seriously go watch Rooster Teeth or anything affiliated with them)

Isshin stepped up to the glasses wearing man. "You must be Burnie Burns and Matt Hallum. I'm Isshin Kurosaki."

The now named Burnie shook Isshin's hand. "That's right. I'm Burnie, he's Matt. Behind us are Joel Heyman, Gus Sirola, and Ashley Jenkins, my girlfriend." They shook hands in turn. Burnie turned to introduce those who came from the other cars, but the big nosed man was being picked on by a few of the other members. Burnie face palmed. "Guys really?"

He turned to Isshin. "Sorry, the guy on the ground is Gavin Free our Creative Director. The guy beating him up is Geoff Ramsey, one of Rooster Teeth's founders along with the four of us. The crazy looking guy is Ryan Heyman, the big is Jack Pitrillo, the one in the hoodie is Michael Jones and the short guy is Jeremy Dooly. They form one of the divisions of the company Achievment Hunter. The black haired girl is Meg Turney, Gavin's girlfriend, the blonde and the little girl are Griffon and Millie, Geoff's wife and daughter, the blond woman is Barbara, the red head is Lindsey, Michael's wife. The brunette is Kara and the other black haired woman is Arryn."

Introductions were made and after a photo op with the RWBY cars they brought to the track, the group separated into different directions. Andrew brought Michael, Gavin and Jeremy with him and Tatsuki.

He looked into the camera as Michael asked him a question. "So...where are we going with about an hour before qualifying?"

"Well, after dressing for qualifying, we decided to say hello to our friends at Kuchiki. They have been allies with us all year."

They walked up to the plane and said hello to everyone on the team. Andrew asked where Shaolin was and was directed to her room.

Shaolin was finishing getting dressed when she heard a knock on the door. "Who is it?" Her cold mask keeping her emotions level.

"Its Andrew and Tatsuki and a couple of friends."

Instantly her mask dropped and a bright smile lit up her face. Zipping up her suit up she opened up the door to see Andrew. Seeing the two males, she put up a friendly face.

"Hello there Andrew. Tatsuki. Who are your friends?"

"This is Michael and Gavin, they work for a production studio here in Austin. How about you two go check out their car?"

The two oblivious boys nodded with enthusiasm and ran to the garage. Shaolin looked at the couple and squeaked when Andrew kissed her. She eagerly returned it. Quickly separating, Shaolin's lips were quickly captured by Tatsuki as Andrew kept watch.

Releasing, Tatsuki giggled at the smaller drivers expression . "You missed us huh?

"What do you think?" Shaolin said with no heat. "Guess we need to keep it on the down low for this week." She said nuzzling the other girl.

"Yeah, doesn't mean you can't interact with us. Hey why don't you come over to the Extra Live stream tomorrow, it's a charity event and I am sure it will be positive publicity for you all." Andrew asked.

Shaolin nodded. "I'll ask Byakuya."

The three walked out of the plane to meet up with the rest of the Rooster Teeth crew.

At the cars, Millie was in Ichigo's car and pretending she was racing on the track. Griffon was standing next to the car while Geoff and Ichigo were talking.

"Its crazy how a company founded on being drunk idiots got this far huh." Geoff said laughing.

Ichigo shook his head as they were talking about how Rooster Teeth grew up and developed their identity. He was very curious on how they used social media to promote themselves and having a huge community to back them with their projects.

Turning back to the car, Geoff's eyes softened as Millie and Griffon played around the car under Isshin's watch.

"Millie and Griffon saved my life. Before that I was a hard drunk, I barely got to work sober. Seeing Millie made me realize that I could die the next day and my little girl would not grow up with her dad. It scared me. Now I pretty much stopped drinking. Though, with the idiots I work with, sometimes I should drink my ass off."

Ichigo hummed as he watched Millie being helped out of the car.

"When you have a kid, your life changes. You think about the future, where you are, what you and your wife have done. Everything from the day your child is born, is like a new experience." Geoff said with a far off look. He looked at the younger man. "Your in a much better spot then I was. Don't let your career consume you."

Ichigo looked at Geoff and then looked around and spotted Orihime talking with the girls. Seeing her with his children and then seeing them move away, it shook him hard. Ichigo walked over to the girls. Orihime looked at him curiously and squeaked when he kissed her.

"A kiss for good luck." Ichigo said before going back and hopping into his car.

"Wow you've got it bad girl." Lindsey said as they laughed. "If only Michael could be that sweet on a regular basis."

"Sound like the princess has a strawberry blush." Barbara said. Everyone groaned and Burnie could be heard saying 'God Damn it Barb'.

An hour later, practice was over and qualifying began. With the Rooster Teeth crew watching, each of the drivers took their times, with Ichigo doing slightly better than Andrew and Uryuu which got some swears from a couple of the achievement hunters because they bet on the qualifying order which got mock arguments and nearly a couple of brawls but it was good fun. The surprise of the session was Maria Robertson winning the pole with a near record time. After the session, they said good bye to the group with promises to drop by the next day.

Next day, about 1:00 Central U.S Time

The amount of cameras on the set was crazy at Rooster Teeth's Studio 5. With the appearance of Rooster Teeth to help promote their Extra Life Livestream the previous day, it got some attention from the race networks. They been interviewed and sat in on the last couple of hours of the livestream as they did crazy stuff and played video games. But now, the four Kurosaki drivers, their girlfriends and Nel and Shaolin showed up to guest star for the next couple of hours.

After the video for their cause was shown, Jack who was sitting in the middle of the studio brought it back to him.

"Welcome back to the Rooster Teeth Extra Life stream, we are five hours into the stream. We are going 24 hours playing video games and chatting up with viewers. We have a group of very special guests with us for the next few hours. It is the entirety of the Kurosaki-Ishida Racing team."

The camera pans to his left. "At the controls are Andrew Michaels, Ichigo Kurosaki and Uryuu Ishida, on the couches are Chad Yasotora and their lovely girlfriends, Orihime Inoue, Tatsuki Arisawa, Isane Kotestu and Nemu Kurotsuchi. Also with us is Kuchiki Industries driver Soi Fong and crew member Nel Tu Odervechek. Glad to see you all today."

They all said their hellos as Jack read off the donations, which stood at about $45,000 which was really good for five hours into the stream.

"Alright, keep the donations coming. You can ask them anything within reason of course." Jack said.
A few moments of playing and talking later, Jack pulled up a question. "Alright, this question is for you two. How did you meet?"

Andrew facepalmed. "Every time. Ichigo you tell it."

Ichigo sighed. "Alright, so it was in NASCAR's Junior Division. I had torn up the Japan tiers and was looking to make my mark in America. I showed up and saw this lanky kid, thought he belonged in a science club. But on track he nearly beat me in the first race of the season and cleanly did so in the second one. First half of the season was between me who had money, and Andrew who only had the support of his family and those they hired. We did not get along and we actually came to blows."

"What made you guys, well friends?" Said an Australian accented woman. This was Cati Ward, Jack's wife.

"Would you believe Root Beer? We got delayed at a track in New Jersey and Andrew here complained about not going to this Root Beer place up the road, Stewart's. And well the rest is history."

Andrew chuckled as he finished winning a match. "That friendship is why I am at Kurosaki-Ishida. So flash forward to last year. I won NASCAR's A Division, I made my intentions known that I would try to find a GP ride, if I didn't I would stay in NASCAR. I actually got four offers. Hendrick offered because one their drivers, Justin Kane had left for Ganassi, Kuchiki had fired one of their drivers, not Soi here." Andrew motioned to the small girl who was playing with one of the cats. "Rousch was restructuring and a GP2 team, Lotus was looking to use my name to get to the next level."

"So what got Kurosaki involved?"

"Believe it or not, Jushiro Utikate, one of the reporters for Nippon Racing network. I didn't know that he was contemplating retirement till after India last year. That put them in the running. Isshin made me an offer, I took it, haven't regretted it."

"Wow." Jack said. Before they could continue, they heard a buzzer go off. Someone put up $1,337, meaning they had to do a stupid thing. Spinning the wheel, it landed on Andrew's choice of twenty pushups on their knuckles. (I've done them, they hurt.)

Chalking it up as it being for the kids, they did the push-ups and at the end of it, Andrew was the only one not hurting, even tough Shaolin and Tatsuki were blowing on their knuckles.

"Ow…god damn it." Michael from off screen yelled. "What kind of training did you go through Andrew?"

Andrew chuckled. "That's what being a black belt does for ya."

A few more questions later, one of the questions was directed at Orihime and Tatsuki. "So one of the questions here is how you two met Andrew and Ichigo?"

Tatsuki giggled. "Alright, so we are reporters with Nat Geo, we got assigned to cover the team and I literly ran into Andrew in Melbourne. What a wild ride."

Orihime smiled. "We didn't start dating till…April, give or take, but it has been like a dream."

Jack chuckled and looked down and saw several retweets. "Oh, Wow. I think some of your opponents have gotten in on this. Brian McNish, Serenity Gordon, Dale Earnhardt, Renji Abarai, Archie Stewart have all retweeted this and donated money. Most are about a thousand dollars. Thank you so much."

Andrew smiled and with a nod to Shaolin, he pulled out a packet of checks. "I guess this would be a good time to give you these. A check from all four of us, each worth $2,500. There is also a check from our boss, worth $5,000."

"And there is also checks from our racing team and boss with equal amounts." Shaolin said. "So that's $30,000. I think this will be money well spent."

The whole room as silent as chat blew up. Jack was the first to recover. "I…I don't know what to say. Thank you."

Ichigo grinned. "Dad's company focuses on medicine. He heard about your drive and wanted to help out. He said that investing in the healthcare of our children will make the world much healthier in the future.

This got the studio to clap and thank the drivers. After another hour, they said their good byes and headed back to the track.

Next morning about 7:00 AM

Nel slowly opened her eyes and yawned cutely. She was laid out on her stomach, with her head on Ichigo, the sheets only covering her ass. She felt the air brush across her bare skin and shivered pleasantly. She didn't like wearing clothes to bed, mainly because in her old place, the sheets would have made her uncomfortable in any clothing, plus she didn't have many sleep clothes. Now feeling the soft, silk sheets, she felt like she could be wrapped in them forever. Of course the pillow she was lying on kind of helped as well.

Looking up from her position on his chest, she thought back to the last three weeks. It was such a transforming experience being in that household. Instead of scavenging for cheap meals, they were served quality stuff and they even prepared it, well Yuzu did. It was weird to go from the street to being treated like…well one of their own.

Rolling up to straddle Ichigo, she took a look at his features. A very muscular body with a good looking face that was looked like a child while he slept. She couldn't help but giggle at his expression. Her eyes glanced over to Orihime, who was snoring cutely and nuzzled into his shoulder dressed in one of her nightgowns. Looking back at Ichigo, she leaned down to give him a kiss. It was supposed to be quick but Ichigo quickly woke up and actually pressed her lips closer. A few moments later, they separated and stared into each other's eyes.

"Morning, Ichigo."

"Morning, Nel-chan." Ichigo said raising his arm to hold it behind his pillow.

They heard a yawn and turned to see Orihime waking up. Smiling sleepily, she received a kiss from both of them and settled into cuddling for a little while.

Nel sighed. "I still can't believe that my life changed so drastically. I have you and Orihime to thank."

Ichigo chuckled. "Yeah, well, you saved my family, only fair we repay ya somehow."

Nel pouted. "You could have done anything to me, yet we have only had sex one time, am I special to you?"

Ichigo shook his head. "Nel, its been a tough transition for all three of us. You are special, to both of us. You haven't tried to do anything to butt in on our relationship and somehow you naturally fit into our little partnership. Hime might have invited you, but more and more I am glad I listened to her to bring you here. You have been nothing but kind and sweet especially to my sisters and I thank you for saving them."

Nel smiled and nuzzled into his chest. This quickly turned into moans as Orihime used the distraction to slip under the sheets and grabbed her breasts.

"O-Orihime?"

"Hm…sensitive. I think we can have some fun with these Ichigo." Orihime said with an uncharacteristic voice, it could even be called sultry.

Ichigo smirked at Nel's face. "You look cute like that Nel."

The girl tried to respond but her moans drowned it out.

A shuffling sheets and clothing later, Nel was laying on Orihime's chest with her legs spread open. Before Ichigo could play with his new mate, a loud guitar riff played through the plane.

Ichigo growled at being cock blocked. Only one person could have that music playing.

"ANDREWWWWWW!

Ten minutes prior

Andrew was trying to hold his laughter in as Michael and Gavin, worked their camera phones and some other tech. Tatsuki who was dragged into this, was holding his phone and Shaolin, who was woken up and warned about this, was holding her camera.

"Okay, everyone's cameras ready." Michael whispered.

Andrew nodded and turned on the cameras. "Alright, its about…8:00 AM Central U.S Time, Michael and Gavin are here early because they want to get a jump on today's festivities." The cameras turned to the two and saw them setting up wire to connect to some speakers.

"Alright, so what are you guys doing?"

Michael smiled. "We set up speakers to blare out music to hopefully wake the rest of the teams. Our goal is to have some laughs at the driver's expense."

"And hopefully not get kicked out of the track before our boss shows up." Gavin said.

"Before who shows up?" Burnie and Geoff said freezing the two and turning to see their boss.

"It…isn't what it looks like?" Gavin tried to say.

"So it doesn't look a prank that I am not involved in and could get you in trouble with not only you boss but also Andrew and Soi Fong's boss?" Geoff said with a smile.

"Uh…yes?" Michael said,

Burnie shook his head. "Great…well it's a good thing we happen to buy these earplugs." Burnie said holding them. He turned to Andrew. "Which song are you going to do?"

Andrew grinned. "I think the only one appropriate." He said scrolling through his songs and pressed play. A very loud riff played through the garage area.

"ANDREWWWWWW!" Ichigo's voice got the pranksters to laugh.

(Play Kickstart my Heart by Motley Crue)

As the song starts up, a lot of crews surrounding the Kurosaki plane walked out to see the Rooster Teeth employees and Andrew laughing their butts off. Ichigo, having redressed himself for the day, had stormed out and started to chase Andrew much to the delight of everyone involved.

As the lyrics start up, the drivers are suited up with Ichigo still grumbling about earlier and Andrew in a really good mood as he they walked from their plane. Behind them some of the Rooster Teeth people were filming their activities.

Aizen already in a sour mood was downright furious when Yammamato told them Andrew would not be punished on grounds it did not affect the ability to race. Now as he finished debriefing his drivers, his phone was going off again as buyers were still looking to talk prices with him.

In the stands, the cool Texas weather allowed for the stands to be full to capacity. With the University of Texas on the road, nothing would be distracting them this week as the chase for the title tightened up.

Up in the booths overlooking the track, the commentators were finishing their prep work and were laughing about a couple of jokes. Off to the side, several Rooster teeth members were filming segments for their show.

In the driver's meeting, Yammamato finished with the driver's meeting and dismissed the drivers. He then turned to a couple of the reporters who wanted to talk to him and Chojiro, his chosen successor, who would be taking over in 2072.

(End Previous song, start Sweet Home Alabama by Lynard Skynard)

"Home. That's a concept many racers love to hear. Home cooking, home town, home track. With three races left, many drivers are looking for that checkered flag at Sao Paulo so they can head home to be with their families after a long year.

But for those still in the hunt, they can't go home just yet. A title is just what a perfect homecoming gift will do. It won't be easy. On the only American built F1 circuit, it can feel like a home track. With so many references to tracks and races past, it's a race that excites the fans and is a hotbed for fast racing.

In the American Heartland, where oil was once king, the race to be the king begins its home stretch, but the road is still the toughest around.

(Play the choir like singing as the camera pans around to the track.)

"Welcome to Texas."

(Plays Fox intro as they look over the track)

Jeremy: Great Texas weather greets us at the Circuit of the Americas and Round 23 of the World Grand Prix.

(Pans to the booth)

Jeremy: Good afternoon ladies and Gentleman and welcome to another race in the World Grand Prix. I am Jeremy Buck alongside Nate Jarrett. Three races left, and the story as it has been all year have been the dominance of the Kurosaki rookies, specifically Ichigo Kurosaki and Andrew Michaels, the two aces of Kurosaki.

Nate: Their nicknames, Reaper and Maverick are well-deserved in my opinion. A combined six wins and leading the standing for most of the year. But that could easily change as they head into the last three weeks of the season, we look at the points and they are still tight with four racers with one race of each other.

Jeremy: Last week was a wild one especially at end of the race. (Montage begins) As the race got under way in India, you can feel some of the desperation in the Souske garage and for the most part Grimmjow dominated the race but like a lot of racing this year it came down to pit strategy and some luck. Ichigo hit the right set-up and closed the gap.

Nate: This sets up what had been the scene they have been talking for the past two weeks. On the final stretch, Grimmjow and Ichigo were fighting for the win and they got together. Grimmjow got turned around and got airborne. He hit his teammate and was sent into the fence. Ichigo won the race, but everyone was more concerned about the fans. Fortunately, the fence did its job and only ten people suffered minor injuries. It could have been a lot worse.

Jeremy: This accident along with several other hard accidents this year, including the wreck that nearly ended the lives of both Soi Fong and Andrew Michaels in Africa, have prompted concerns about safety in racing. The Grand Prix has this release from Race director Genryusai Yammamato. 'Racing has always been about risk taking and all levels of motorsport have increased strides to reduce that risk of injury for both drivers and fans. The accident at Buddh International Circuit was the first wreck this year at the GP level, in which the fans were involved. We are pleased that there weren't worse injuries and we wish them the best. We will use this and other wrecks this year to make improvements in driver and fan safety while at the same time promote a competitive product. We hope that the last three races will be exciting and hopefully safe for everyone involved.'

Nate: Its safe to say that with the wrecks we've had this year, the car's safety features have been put to the test. Other than some bruises and a couple of concussions, everyone is still racing and still raring to go. For more on what happened last week, our colleague Jermaine Ferguson is with the man who went for a wild ride.

Jermaine: Thank you Jeremy. Grimmjow, you had the win literally torn away from you due to some unfortunate contact with the 15. Your thoughts?

Grimmjow: That crash was entirely the 15's fault. He should have let up and let me take the position. But nope he decided to try to cut back across and clip me. That was incredibly dangerous what he did on the front stretch.

Off screen, Ichigo stormed up to him. "You tried to cut me off, I had the line and decided to block me. It was your own damn fault you got into the fence.

Before more was said, Andrew held him back. Jermaine then turned to Ichigo. "What are your thoughts Ichigo?

Ichigo: I honestly feel bad for the spectators. My best wishes to those hurt. I honestly think what I did was racing and Grimmjow was not concentrating on winning. Now, let us focus on this week.

Before the blue-haired man could punch Ichigo, Ulquiorra pulled him back and cooler heads prevailed.

Jermaine: The tension here is palpable. Back you Jeremy.

After a half hour, the pre-race ceremonies began.

"Ladies and Gentleman, in an effort to combat childhood cancers and medical expenses, the Extra Life Fundraiser was created to help raise funds for Children's Miracle Network. Last year they raised over 6 Million dollars for various hospitals across the country."

(Camera pans down to the Rooster teeth crew and members of the children's hospital crew.)

Our sponsors today, Austin's own Rooster Teeth Productions took part in their own charity Livestream. For twenty-fours, they played video games and helped raise money for local area hospitals. We are pleased to announce they raised over $500,000 through donations and selling merchandise. Let's give them a hand.

The whole crew was smiling and the drivers were applauded them. The invocation and the national anthem was played with smiles across the whole track. After the anthem, the drivers strapped in.

Andrew tightened his straps and placed his helmet on. Hearing a knock on the roof, he turned to see Shaolin smiling at him. He shook her hand and had a smile on his face. Then Jeremy walked over and took a selfie with his car.

Next to him Ichigo was finishing up with Geoff and Jack. He turned to Orihime to kiss her and then hopped into the car.

"Race fans it is now time for the most famous words in motorsports. Here to give the command, it is the core staff of Rooster Teeth.

Burnie looked at his friends and co-workers. He could hardly believe how far they came in fifteen years.

"On behalf of everyone who has worked to make the last fifteen years at Rooster Teeth possible. Ready? 1…2…3!

"DRIVERS! START YOUR ENGINES!"

Thirty-six engines roared to life as the fans cheered for the start of the race.

Japan Booth

Kommamura: This Texas crowd is sure enthusiastic about this race. Especially with this gorgeous Texas weather, with seasonably cool temps and a light breeze.

Jushiro: 100 laps will comprise the Rooster Teeth Grand Prix of Texas on this 3.5 mile Circuit of The Americas. The track is a mixture of several other tracks, like Silverstone and Istanbul Park, a varied mixture that will test the handling and the brake power. Also important is the three main passing zones. Turns 1, 11 and 12 are after long straights, braking is a key factor especially after the stretch between 11 and 12. Last factor is when the final pit stop would be. The fuel run is about 23-25 laps, and the race is only a hundred laps long, the strategy is whether or not they can make it on three stops or four.

Kommamura: Let's see if we can dial someone up

Jushiro: Let's try our pole sitter. Maria Robertson, this is Jushiro Ukitake from Nippon Racing Network.

"I hear ya. What's up?"

"You have had an up and down year. Are you confident for the last three races to improve your position?"

"It wasn't the best year for us or Ferrari but I am glad we have some foundation for next year. Let's hope we stay up in GP1 next year. Next year begins now."

"Alright good luck."

A lap after that, the pace car pulled off and the green flag waved. They got up through the gears and then immediately had to slow down to get through the corner 1. Of course with the mass slowdown, the amount of cars and the tightness of the turn, there were bound to be some collisions and some spin outs. Clearing the first turn, they picked up speed and headed into the sweeping turns. Going through the S-turns Maria led them into the Hairpin turn. Clearing the turn they picked up speed and headed straight into the stadium section of the course. Weaving through the switchbacks, they headed into the Istanbul turn and then through the final 90 degree turn and heading back onto the pit straight.

American Booth

Jeremy: One lap in the books, Maria led the lap, Ulquiorra not far behind her.

Nate: He needs every point he can get, he still has an outside shot at winning the championship.

Two laps later, Ulquiorra having the faster car caught up to her and passed her heading out of the Hairpin turn.

Japan Booth

Kommamura: Ulquiorra takes the lead heading of the Tilke Turn.

Jushiro: He is going to need a lot of help if he wants to be in contention in Sao Paulo.

Five laps later, Brian who had been steadily gaining ground on the 04, got him in the stadium section and completed the pass in turn 16.

American Booth

Jeremy: Now it's the Scholar's turn out in front. Every point matters right now, especially with three races left.

Nate: This is important considering that our two point leaders are in the top 10. How are they doing Jermaine?"

Jermaine: The 15 has been complaining of a tight car especially on left handers but compared to his teammate it may as well be a picnic. Meanwhile, his teammate is saying he is loose and is having a hard time staying in the sweet spot of the turn as he loses another spot to the 22 Porsche.

Nate: It can be hard to get the set up right with so many different types of turns.

The race calmed down for a little bit as Mcnish stretched his lead out a bit. During this time Ichigo was able to climb his way up to second while Andrew was able to stabilize his position in 12th. On lap 22, Brian surprised everyone and pitted early.

Japan Booth

Kommamura: Mcnish coming in early. Kiyone what's going on?

Kiyone: (Outside the 01 pit) According to his crew chief, this is a planned stop. He's a little tight but the car has been great otherwise. Four tires, small air change and down and away.

Jushiro: He's trying for a three stop strategy, look for him sometime around lap 47-50 a couple laps earlier than the other contenders. As we see Ichigo give up the lead to get his service, some of the other leaders are coming down pit road.

Maria took the lead, because she came in a lap earlier than Brian and actually passed him before Ulquiorra pulled off for his service. In the ensuing several laps, three cars dropped out or off the pace. Jason Webber from the Red Bull team dropped several cylinders and pulled off on lap 29. Five laps later, his teammate Flippe Massa spun out and hit the barrier in turn 13. This resulted in a caution that brought everyone down pit road. Tier had taken the lead prior to the caution coming out and retained it coming out of the pits. After the caution, Tier took the green flag on lap 38. As she climbed through the sweeping turns, her radio buzzed to life.

"Harribel-sama."

"What's wrong Sung-sung?"

"Its Aizen. He's ordering you to let Ulquiorra pass with in the next lap."

Tier looked behind her and saw the 04 had cleared the traffic. She sighed. Figuring that he was in contention, she would not interfere with his title contention. On the next lap, she intentionally went wide in the hairpin turn and let the 04 pass her.

American Booth

Jeremy: Not wanting to get in the way of her teammate, Tier lets the 04 go by.

Nate: Grand Prix officials have warned the non-contending drivers to not intentionally get in the way of those in contention. Having a teammate in the lead helps the 04 but it appears she gaveup the lead too easily.

Ulquiorra led for a few laps before going too hard into Turn 12 went off course. Maria who had gotten up to second got past the 04. Ulquiorra came back onto the track, but was now back in 12th, obviously upset. Looking back at him, he saw the 91 who he nearly ran off the road along with a few others.

Andrew was understandably furious. "Basic driving rule 101, asshole, wait till its cleared then merge with the traffic."

"Easy there. Don't make any stupid mistakes." Kisuke said.

Andrew groaned and kept on driving now having to contend with the pale devil. The racing calmed down and soon enough Mcnish, who had fought back to from 8th, got around Maria in the stadium section.

This continued up until lap 65, when a four car wreck involving Jessica Rosburg and Francisco Alonso of the Ferrari team, Kira from Kuchiki and the Rousch Ford of Alexandra Edwards wrecked near the pit exit. This took a couple of laps to clean up and then the leaders were brought down pit road. With their much quicker stop, Ulquiorra was able to take the lead and had the lead leading into the next green flag. Unfortunately, his lead didn't last as on the restart in turn 1, not everyone slowed down and he ended up spinning out again. This gave the lead in the confusion to Maria who was in third and snuck in on the inside.

Japan Booth

Kommamura: And Around goes Cifer. Robertson in the lead.

Jushiro: The 04 seriously can not catch a break today as the Ferrari speeds down towards the Tilke turn.

After that spin out, the race calmed down with Maria in the lead. On lap 81 Mcnish made his final stop as the laps wound down. A lap later Maria came down pit road and gave the lead to Harribel who stopped the lap before Mcnish. It looked like Harribel would run away with this race.

On lap 93 with Ulquiorra back in 2nd place, Sung-sung came over the radio.

"Harribel-sama, Aizen has requested that you give the victory to Cifer."

Tier groaned. "Damn it. Fine, if that devil wants it.

The next lap, Tier prepared to give up the lead in the stadium section. In order for the pass to be pulled off, both the 003 and 04 had to be close enough together. The 01 under no such restriction, saw the two cars slow down and took his chance. In turn 17, with Tier trying to go wide and Ulquiorra got underneath her. Brian went inside and actually shoved the 04 out of the way and into the lead, exciting the fans.

American Booth

Jeremy: Harribel going wide in turn 17, to make room for her teammate and Mcnish dives down and Shoves the 04 out of the Way!

Nate: With the laps and racing winding down, you need everything in your arsenal to win and Mcnish just showed his experience there as there are now 6 laps left with the 01 expanding his lead.

Brian was able to hold off the Souske cars and took the checkered flag and made the points race even tighter. With two races left, its still a five horse race, who will raise the trophy in Sao Paolo? Find out next time on Bleach Grand Prix.
