A/N: So i have not written on Fanfiction since… 4 years ago? So Let's see how this goes…
Fang's POV
Why would Nudge kick me out? After everything I have done for her. I have been through everything with her! I washed her scraped knees when she fell off of her tricycle. I helped her out when she wanted to give up on her multiplication practice. I protected her from every known danger in her world. So why was she pushing me away?
All of these thoughts seemed to control me because the next thing I knew there was a dent, the shape of my fist, in the bathroom stall door.
I had to wash off the blood from my busted knuckles before exiting the bathroom. I don't know how long I was gone but when i walked through those white washed halls I realized it must have been a while. When I turned into the hallway where Nudge's room was, I was saw a line of people fidgeting, trying to see my precious little sister.
I picked up pace and ducked into the room.
"OK, thanks for coming but she needs some rest." I didn't want to say much else so i just closed the thick curtain to block people out.
I heard a few whimpers and "oh, come on's" but not much else. Then there was silence.
"Nudge-" that was all I had time to say before she cut me off.
Max's POV
I could hear the silence swelling up and I knew there was about to be a thousand questions.
"Nudge-" Fang started but Nudge cut him off.
"Look, I know you have a lot of questions but let me explain everything. So I was just in my room and I was listening to my music- as usual- and I heard a knock. I thought it was just Nacho jumping around but I wanted to make sure, you know? So I got up and saw that Nacho was still asleep. I went back to my bed and put my earbuds in. then i saw Nacho get up and start barking at my window. So I got up and looked but I didn't see anything so i opened it to get some fresh air then all of the sudden there was a figure coming out at me. I didn't know what to do but I realized it was just a big animal. I don't know what it was though. It was really scary…" She began to shiver. it was pretty convincing. It seemed like it was enough to fool Fang.
I, of course, knew the full story. And I was hoping no one would ever see through what was now Nudge and my facade.
Her face started to quiver as tears rolled down her face. Fang was stunned but quickly jumped out of it. He was by her side, comforting her.
Oh, what I wouldn't do to thrive in the ignorance that Fang doesn't even realize he is living in.
What I would not do to go back and change my past.
I know I told everyone that we moved back to Seattle for Mom's work, but that was just a cover story. I guess I should have guessed this was coming back. That HE was coming back.
After all, the nightmares have already comeback...
