The Story's Shadow: He does have an attitude problem. Nah, the band thing is played off as a fun joke to relieve tension. Peter becoming the Lizard actually happened in the Spider-Gwen comics. You'll see more of Drifter's life soon, more in the sequel really.

Noble Six: I hope you'll enjoy it.

Guest: I think it would, considering that in the main Earth, Gwen was Peter's first girlfriend. I'll try, but they aren't really the main focus of the story.

Guest: Thanks. I think it's good to show that he can be bice at some moments.

Earth 45

The Spiders waited patiently for Drifter and hopefully Gwen to come down back and say that she agreed to join with them to save the Multiverse.

In the meantime, Spider-Punk was just causally tuning his guitar, testing out the sounds, making it higher and deeper, something that caused Steam to wince each time it was tuned as it annoyed him.

"Do you have to do that now?" Steam asked.

"We haven't got a break since we've been travelling, I'd figured now would be the best time," Punk said as he continued to his tuning.

Peter just spent his time to look at the hatch, waiting for the two to come back down. Sheriff-Spider noticed this and spoke to him. "You okay kid?"

"I'm just wondering what Drifter's gonna say to Gwen that will convince her to help us," Peter responded, turning to the western spider.

"Who knows, maybe he may convince her to join us," Sheriff said as he cleaned his revolver and loaded it with new webs.

"I think he might able to," Peter said. he then gave a chuckle. "I mean he convinced you didn't he?"

"In a sense..." Sheriff-Spider said. "If it were just him there, I'm not sure I could have trusted him but you...well, you were there and made me a little more trusting,"

Before Peter could ask what his western counterpart meant by that, they were interrupted by an opening of the hatch from above. The Spiders looked up to see Drifter and Spider-Gwen were walking down the stairs and into the living area.

"Hey guys" Gwen greeted with a warm smile to the spiders.

"So, what happened up there?" Sheriff-Spider asked.

"Well, me and Drifter talked for a while about your mission and after some convincing, I figured that Drifter was right," Gwen said as Drifter stood with the rest of the spiders again.

"My Peter...wpuld want me to come along with you guys and help you stop this Dark Web guy," Gwen said with a confident look. "If my universe is in danger as well as any others…then I should at least be alongside the people who are stepping up to stop it"

"Glad you're joining us, Gwen," Sheriff said with a smile as he tipped his hat in respect.

"It will be an experience to have," Spider-Drone said.

"Glad there's finally a girl in the group" Spider-Punk added.

The rest of the spiders looked at Steam for his dickish response but instead, he looked up from his tech. "You're bound to kick their asses while you're with us, so, I guess your already good to join us,"

Some of the spiders were surprised at his response but decided not to question it.

"Well, nevertheless, it's awesome to have you Spider-Gwen...I mean Spider-Woman," Hobbie corrected himself.

"Actually, you guys can call me Spider-Gwen for short if you want," Gwen said as some of the spiders nodded in approval of the name.

Spider-Man stood up and walked towards Spider-Woman. "Gwen...I'm glad you're coming with us on this mission," Peter said as Gwen smiled at the other world, Peter.

"Me too," Gwen said in agreement. "I promise to be there for all of you," Gwen said with certainty. "You should really thank, Drifter..." Gwen said as she and Peter gave a look towards the veteran spider. "He's the one who convinced me to come along,"

Peter smiled at his older self. "Thanks, Drift," Peter said.

Drifter managed to give a small smile at this. "It was nothing. I was telling her of her true strength is all," Drifter said.

"So, will we be leaving soon?" Gwen asked.

"Not yet," Drifter said. "I'll let you guys stock and rest for a bit before we continue on," Drifter said as Peter and Gwen nodded as they went to the rest of the spiders to talk among each other.

Drifter still stood where he was as watched the rest of the spiders converse among each other. He saw each and every one of the people he was going to fight alongside with. "They're all going to have challenges to face when we keep going," Drifter mused. "And now with Dark Web is aware that not I'm not trapped on that Earth anymore, there's no doubt he's gonna send his best at us," Drifter grimly thought as he knew what his nemesis was fully capable of.

Drifter looked up at his fellow spiders. "If Dark Web is going to prepare for the worst...then so will I," Drifter mused as he left his corner and walked over to the rest of the spiders.

"Okay, people listen up," Drifter said as all the spiders listen to the veteran spider. "Before we continue on with our mission, I need to say something first."

The Spiders stood by, listening to the coming words from Drifter, giving him their full attention as they waited for him to speak.

"Our mission is not one done by need, not one done by want or not one done by doing so because it's the right thing…" Drifter spoke in a serious tone

"It is one by necessary…" Drifter stated. "Dark Web isn't just another common crook or even the likes of Doc Ock, Mr Negative or even Green Goblin," Drifter said as he noticed the looks coming from the spiders by the mere mention of the names.

"Dark Web is one of the dangerous spiders to ever exist. He has an army by his side and will stop at nothing to take all of us down" Drifter spoke with absolute seriousness in his voice as other matters were apparent on another Earth.

Earth 6161

Triskellion

"We all have a duty to stop Dark Web at any means."

Within the high tech security complex were the prison cells and within those cells were some of the most dangerous metahumans that the world has ever dealt with and besides those cells of the villains, were the cells of the soldiers of Dark Web as they stood with the gaze of fury and a vow of silence.

"You can't sit in silence forever," A commanding voice spoke to him, the voice belongs to the Director of SHIELD, Nick Fury as he had his arms crossed as he was interrogating the solider from the other side of the cell. "Sooner or later, you and your boys are going to talk,"

The soldier said nothing in response as he held a look with no emotion as he stared up above, not looking the man in the eyes.

Fury sighed in response. "Fine. Be quiet all you want, we still got your friends in the cell beside you and there's still more of you out there," Fury said as he started to walk back. "Sooner or later, one of you is gonna slip up and tell us something about your boss"

The soldier said nothing in response.

Fury then turned and walked away from the gilder soldier. "Your boss is just like the rest of the long line of petty tyrants," Fury stated. "He's gonna fall like the rest,"

"That's where you're wrong, Director Fury" The soldier's voice finally said, causing Fury to stop and turn to the gilder. "Dark Web isn't like the others..."

Fury turned back around and walked up to his cell and faced him. "Really?" Fury said. "How so?"

The solider just gave a small smile to this. "Because with every universe he's travelled to, he's killed most of those petty tyrants..." The soldier responded. "You can gather as many heroes as you want and hell, maybe even let the villains have their fun..."

"But I assure you when my Lord comes to this Earth...he'll leave nothing in his wake," The solder darkly said as he stared Fury straight in the eyes. "And the Lord of the Web will take this world as his own,"

Fury said nothing in response to the man's threat. He turned back and walked away from his as Shield agents stood by and guard the cells.

Unknown Location

"His men are relentless in taking us down and will stop at nothing to bring every single one of us to their masters"

The rest of the remaining gilder soldiers were currently held up at a rundown building in one of the abandoned distracts in New York. They set up a temporary base after retreating from the Avengers and the New Warriors to call their superiors for a handful of supplies.

The commander stood by and watched his men work their stations. His right-hand man right stood beside him with a datapad. "Sir, we gathered the readings from the spike from the two you sent," The man informed.

"And?" The commander asked.

"The readings show the spike as fully encased the Earth," The right hand informed, causing the commander to grin with satisfaction.

"Good," The commander said as he looked at the readings for himself. he the datapad back to his right-hand man. "Go to the others and make sure the equipment is operational," The commander ordered as his right-hand nodded in response as he went over to the rest of the gilders and continued with their mission for their leader.

Avengers Tower

"Which means we have to work together as a team if we have any hope to stop him"

After dealing with Gilders, the rest of the Avengers and Warriors were currently resting any injuries they had while the leaders and scientist went and dealt with the spike that the gilder soldier had placed within the ground that somehow managed to affect the earth.

Iron Man, Doctor Strange and Iron Spider were looking over the readings of the spike the solder implanted on the island. White Tiger and Captain America were there as well as they oversaw the readings.

"So what did he do exactly?" White Tiger asked.

"I scanned the device and it appears to be non-lethal" Iron Spider explained, suppressing the feline heroine as they looked of a virtual model of Earth as it had readings from the spike that was placed within the ground.

"As far as we can tell, there doesn't seem to be an immediate danger that these spikes are making" Iron Man said.

"I can agree with Stark as I checked it myself using my own incantations" Doctor Strange added.

"So can we remove it?" Cap asked.

"Not at this time, Cap," Iron Man said. "The thing has is locked in and I haven't figured out a clear way to disable it" Iron Man explained.

"So, if it's not a bomb or even that lethal, then what is it?" White Tiger asked, curious to know what exactly is currently in the Earth itself.

"It's some sort of energy wall that's encasing the whole world, we don't know what powers it or how it even works but looks to be rather harmless for the moment" Iron Spider explained.

"Think of it as a barrier around the planet" Iron Man explained simply.

"Why would they bother to do that?" White Tiger asked as she wondered what the purpose of the spike was.

"Well, we'll figure it out later," Captain America assured the young hero. "Fury has those soldiers in lock up and we can continue the research at a better time,"

"So what now?" Iron Man asked towards the first Avenger.

Cap thought for a moment before speaking again. "These men aren't going to back down anytime soon, they're most likely going to keep going until they try and take us down in the name of their leader,"

"Until Spider-Man and Drifter come back with all the people they need to help take them down, we're going to keeping defending the city and make sure that not one of those gilders get what they want," Cap said, inspiring everyone in the room.

"Let's get to the others," Iron Man said as they went to exit the room. "They gonna want the old pep rally speech,"

"White Tiger," Cap said, gaining the tiger hero's attention. "You want to with me on the stands?" Cap asked, shocking Ava in response.

"Really?"

"Yes," Cap said. "You handled yourself out there and showed qualities of a leader," Cap said as Ava beamed with pride. "I can see why Peter was fond of you," Cap said as he left the room, leaving Ava to blush at this and give a small smile.

White Tiger joined the Captain as they faced their equal teams who were bust talking to one another, the older heroes showing proudness to the younger generation while certain members just stuck to the corners, preferring to be alone.

"Avengers!" Captain America called out, gaining their attention.

"New Warriors!" White Tiger called as well gaining her teammate's attention.

"Today was a lesson, while those gilders did make their own accomplishment by planting that spike within the Earth we ourselves had our own by taking down half their numbers," Captain America said.

"But those guys will be back with even more men and tech to back themselves up, preparing to go to war with all of us," White Tiger added in response.

"And if they're going to prepare, then so are we," Cap said with a confident voice that inspired hope to these heroes. "We're going to show these chumps that Earth's mightest don't back down from danger. And that includes White Tiger and all of the New Warriors,"

White Tiger took her part again. "Spider-Man left command to me, trust me that I can lead while he gathers his own spider army to come back and help take them down, and in the meantime, I intend to keep my promise by leading my friends to victory!"

"And with all of us together, standing one by one, we will make sure that Dark Web and his forces won't lay a single hand on our world!" Captain America added as the heroes cheered in response.

"So let's get out there, and give them hell!" White Tiger finished, causing an uproar from the New Warriors and The Avengers.

"Don't worry, Pete. We'll handle this, for you" Ava mused as she knew that things were going to get a lot wilder and intense, as they prepared for a war against Dark Web's forces.

Earth-45

"So no matter what happens, we must not falter and fail," Drifter said, still speaking to the spiders. "Because if we let Dark Web or anything he throws at us get the better of us, then we may have no chance," Drifter said.

The Spiders understood this task with the utmost seriousness. Even there were an incredible amount of dangers, they were all willing to take on whatever they might throw at them.

Spider-Man stood up before Drifter and stood with confidence and a fierce determination. "Drifter, I've been with you since you first came to my world and saved my life," Spider-Man stated. "For all I care, Dark Web can send his entire army at us, even then, I'd still try to keep fighting to save my world,"

Sheriff-Spider spoke up as well. "This Dark Web is a threat that needs to be handled, and despite the surroundings be so different, I don't see why I can't throw my hat in the ring and show Dark Web a little justice. Besides, it can be done only by a bunch of spider heroes such as ourselves," Sheriff-Spider said with a smirk as he spun his revolvers around.

Steam-Spider stood up with his talons online. "Dark Web ruined any chances I had in ending the threat that ruined my life," Steam said with some hatred in his voice. "It's only fair that I try to ruin his,"

"This wanker came up to my world and attacked my mates, that gives me plenty enough motivation to come with and kick this guy's ass around the Multiverse" Spider-Punk added as he finished with his guitar as it was ready and sound off.

Spider-Drone added his input. "My world is in ruins, the people who created and cared for me were all wiped out. The way I see things, Dark Web is no different than the ones who doomed my home, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that no other world shares the same fate,"

And finally, Spider-Gwen gave her statement. "I don't know much about Dark Web or what his forces are like, but one thing for sure, if he's out there killing spiders who are trying to do their job of protecting innocent people, then I won't let a madman like him roam around freely when there's something I can do to help,"

"Basically, Drifter..." Spider-Man said. "We're all in," Spider-Man said finally as the other spiders stood with him.

Drifter nodded in response at his team coming together. "Then let's go save the Multiverse," Drifter said with a determined glare. He turned to Spider-Drone. "Drone, give us a portal,"

Spider-Drone nodded in confirmation. He stood by and fired a portal from his chest, creating an even larger portal as it floated there, waiting for its travellers to come through.

Drifter stood by the portal and looked at his team. "Let's go..." Drifter said as the spiders got up and went through the portal, one at a time.

Sheriff-Spider went in first. "Let's see them come at us now," Sheriff mused as he exited this world.

Steam-Spider followed in as well. "I can't wait to show them they shouldn't mess with the spider of London"

Then Spider-Punk followed, leaving as well. "Let's see those pricks like a sound page over 12!"

Spider-Drone followed suit. "This will be an interesting experience,"

Spider-Gwen gave one last look to her home and went through the portal. "This is for you, Peter" Gwen mused before she jumped into the portal, leaving her home.

Before he joined the rest of them, Spider-Man stopped himself to talk to Drifter. "Drift, I really think we can do this,"

"I know we can, Peter" Drifter said.

"I just gotta say, no matter what happens, I know you'll have my back," Spider-Man said with a grin as Drifter looked at him as he said those words.

Spider-Man then put his mask on and made a dramatic leap through the portal, leaving Drifter to be the only one there. Before he left, Drifter thought about the upcoming battles he and his team will have to face, and maybe some of his past will be forced to be revealed to them, something that he'd prefer to keep secret.

"Dark Web, wherever you are, I want you to know that you may have an army by your side, buy growing my own. And one day soon, I will stop you...and...I will finish what I started..." Drifter mused as he put his mask on and flipped his hood over his head and jumped inside the portal, to fight another day, to fight...against the Lord of the Web.

Spider-Man Dimension Wars: Fight for the Multiverse

Dark Web's Earth - The Web

Within the military like complex, were the gilder soldiers as they were doing many numbers of things for their master, gathering supplies from other worlds they already had control of, upgrading their weaponry to a more advanced degree and gaining more recruits by, unknown methods.

Meanwhile, their leader, Dark Web was sitting on his throne, deep in thought, mainly about his old nemesis Drifter. "Drifter…I knew you were alive after our last encounter…I just didn't expect you to act so stupidly. Though It's been quite a while since I've seen old you, so it might be interesting to catch up," The villainous spider mused.

"I guess he didn't take exile very well. Honestly, he didn't listen when I said he should just lay down and die in his self-pity...he is stubborn like that," Dark Web thought, but then gave a sick grin. "But then again, it means I can torment him more by breaking and maybe even killing a few of his so-called army,"

Dark Web's thoughts then wandered to something else, something...more important. "Speaking of things I haven't seen in a while, It's been long since I checked up on it." Dark Web mused. "I might as well see how it's doing"

Dark Web took in a deep breath and stood up from his throne. He walked down the steps as he went to for the doors.

"Sir?" One of his guards called out.

"I'm just going out to the outlands to check up on how things are going on," Dark Web instantly said, causing the guards to understood and resume their post.

Dark Web walked through his hallways, passing by a few of his own men who either kneeled in respect or bowed their head down in honour of their leader.

Soon, the Lord of the Web found himself in the hanger bay and went to one of the pilots who was currently looking at his stats.

The driver looked up and saw his leader walking towards him. "Lord Dark Web!?" The pilot exclaimed in shock before saluting for him. "It's an honour, sir," The pilot said with respect.

"I know." Dark Web said in a happy tone. "I'm that intimidating!"

"Do, you require transport, sir?" The pilot asked, keeping his cool around his leader who could easily kill him in a blink of an eye.

"Yes I do," Dark Web answered while giving the man a pat on the back. "I just want to check up...well, you know, to see if things as they are. it's been a while and considering that Drifter is gone up and went on a suicide mission,"

"Well...do you need an escort to come along with you?"

"Nah," Dark Web said. "I'd prefer a lone trip on this, get a little me time, Y'know?"

As soon as preparations were made, then airship was up and ready. As Dark Web entered the craft, the ship hovered and exited out of The Web and into the storm-like weather.

The ships experienced a few bumps now and then due to the extremities of the weather conditions, but this didn't bother Dark Web in the slightest. As he waited for the aircraft to reach its destination, Dark Web took his mask off and inspected it as his face was hidden in the shadows, but it still showed a sly grin.

"Oh, I've waited a long time for this moment...I know I have to wait a little longer... it's gonna be worth it," Dark Web said with a large grin.

After a few hours, Dark Web had reached his destination and prepared to land. The aircraft landed on the landing pad. As the cargo bay doors opened, Dark Web put his mask back on and stepped out of it and it looked like he was caught up in a dust storm as his cape flapped around wildly.

Dark Web carefully walked towards the storm as he reached his hand out, reaching out for something familiar. He then came across a railing in front of him. He placed his hands on the railing and waited patiently. "It's been a while since I've seen it. Might as well make sure it's working right" Dark Web mused as he stood and waited for the storm to clear up.

Soon, the storm was starting to falter as beyond the storm, was a large obstruction from far away, as tall as a tower, but glowed brightly as the stars themselves. As the dust disappeared, there stood a giant 50ft tower in the centre of this wasteland environment. In the centre of the tower was a purple stream of energy flowing through it.

Dark Web, gave the biggest grin possible, it could even be seen through his mask and he felt a sense of pride and pleasure from the mere sight of the tower. "There it is, my Magnum Opus, my top card, my death star..." Dark Web listed out as he stared at the tower for who knows how long. "My Collider..." Dark Web said its own name.

The Collider was currently being handled by a number of soldiers and scientists as they made sure it was working to its best and that it was powered correctly.

Just then, A Gilder Soldier flew near his spider leader and bowed his head in respect. "My lord. It is a pleasure to see you, we were expecting you." The soldier spoke with respect.

"Indeed you did, soldier." Dark Web said as he continued to look upon his masterpiece. He then turned to his solder. "What's the progress on The Collider?"

"Everything's working at optimal level sir, just waiting to turn on the on button" The soldier answered with a smirk under his mask.

Dark Web smiled at his soldier's excitement, almost equal to his own. "Oh trust me…" Dark Web said with an evil grin. "I'm gonna press the hell out of that button" Dark Web with an edge to his voice. "You continue on doing your work, I'm just gonna take in the sights," Dark Web ordered as the soldier nodded in response and flew back towards the Doomsday machine.

"Drifter...you can gather an army...you may even have a thousand spiders at your side. But they'll be nothing compared to this." Dark Web seemingly taunted. "You'll fail again...and this time, I'll make sure that the pain will be double fold. And soon…all worlds" Dark Web said quietly and intensely as he stared at his best weapon with pride. "Wil be none…So says Dark Web, The Lord of the Web" Dark Web grinned, as these Dimensions Wars…had just begun.

To Be Continued in Dimension Wars: Rise and Fall.

Thanks for reading this final chapter of Dimension Wars.

And that is the end of this story. I would like to Thank all of you for reading this story and for giving me the advice and tips which were greatly appreciated. people like Story's Shadow, Noble Six and Aferus gave me a lot of confidence in myself.

Originally at this point, the story would have been at it's halfway point at this end, so creating it as a trilogy is much better in my opinion.

And I know what you guys might be thinking, I stole the name from the machine of Into the Spider-Verse. Well if you check the date this story was released, this was made before the film was released. I could have changed the name but I couldn't think of anything better.

So, the spiders have to continue on with their mission, the heroes are fighting off against Dark Web's army and Dark Web himself as shown his ultimate weapon, what it does is currently unknown.

This is The Timeless Writer saying Thank you for reading this story, thank you for giving reviews and favourite the story and thank you for giving my first story and read, giving me confidence as a writer. Thanks and see you around till the next story!
