HEY GUYS...

Hope you're all doing well, I'm...doing better

My plan last year was to update every 2-3 months...

As you can see, that did not work out.

Last year got really rough on me. My computer got destroyed by my brothers dog, and because I am unemployed, and my brother was unable to pay to replace my laptop, it took me quite a while to replace it...I had a small backup netbook which was very unreliable when it came to certain websites, so updating wasn't a possibility. We've had a lot of financial problems this year, and buying a brand new laptop was an expense that needed to be put on the back burner for more important expenses. Our dog had 2 tumor removal surguries in 2018, and was diagnosed with cancer.

On top of this, I also had to deal with the death of my beloved Furbaby Midknight, whom I loved for 6 years. He had to be put to sleep on october 12 of 2018, after struggling with Kidney Failure.

I'm sorry I was unable to keep my promise...I just hope none of you have given up on the story...I love this story so much and I have so much more of it that I want to tell.

I hope you'll stick around with me,and hopefully leave me some reviews. You have no idea how much they inspire me to keep going.

Here's a preview of chapter 35, which will be coming out VERY soon :)

I plan on picking up where I left off last year, and update as frequently as possible.

thanks for putting up with me for so long.

"One of the magic seals that keep my lair dormant has been compromised...In other words, the volcano is 'waking up'…" He said, waving his hand in front of a heavy looking stone door which slid open, some dust drifting down, opening up into a massive chamber above the volcanoes cauldron, the magma below, normally smooth, lightly bubbling and controlled...was now roiling, and angry looking, and a depraved parody of a pot of boiling water.

"...This is...a significant safety hazard, Master Chase." JB-13 frowned.

"Indeed..."the dragon agreed with a frown of his own. "I'll have to replace the damaged seal..."

He looked around at the "ceiling" of the room. "There..." he muttered, staring at a large chunk of metal ore, harvested from the volcano itself, which was secured near the barrier where the floor of his palace was built. The seal was covered in several ancient looking inscriptions, several of which seemed to have been partially corroded away, compromising the integrity of the spell inscribed upon it.

"Tch... What a pain..."Chase snorted, shaking his head. "...Robot, you can fly, can you not?" Chase asked, glancing over at the automaton.

"I can..." He confirmed "Master Jack programs all of his Jackbots with flight capacity."

"Good..." He said, a small smirk forming on his face "….Then this is what we're going to do..."

Until next time, readers

I love you all
