A/N: Hello everyone and welcome back to a new chapter of 'The Cafe' and also welcome to the brand new year of 2018. Now as you all know 'Black Lighting' debuted on the CW last week and the animated film 'Scooby-Doo and Batman The Brave and The Bold' along with 'Batman: Gotham by Gaslight' coming out as well. Then later in the year 'Titans' and 'Young Justice: Outsiders' on the DC streaming service, along with a lot of other DC comics projects coming out in the year comics included.
Here's to hoping for a good year everyone.

"So you guys have any plans for February?" Nightwing asked both Superboy and Robin.
"To be honest not really." Superboy replied back.
"Well I'm working on a presentation for Black History Month at school, Virgil and Jefferson said they were going to lend me with it." Robin stated to him.
"That's good to hear Tim, and be sure to tell Black Lightning that I've been keeping up with his show and it's been off to a great start." Nightwing told the boy wonder.
"Sure thing Dick." Robin said back to him.
"Why do you want to know what we have planned for that month?" Superboy asked out of curiosity.
"Oh I just wanted to see what you guys had planned for Valentines Day is all." Nightwing said nonchalantly with a smirk.
"Aw man I almost forgot about that! I've been so busy lately that it totally slipped my mind." Robin stated as he ran his hand through his hair.
"I'm not too worried about it, if anything I'll just get a card since me and M'gann don't know where we are right now." Superboy said to the former boy wonder.
"I wish I could say the same for me and Cassie since she's a little concerned that they might break us up at the start of the season." Robin told them both.
"Yeah it's pretty easy to see whey she might be a little worried, you know since Spoiler will be joining up in season three and we all know the history you guys have in the comics." Nightwing said to him.
"You shouldn't worry too much Tim, keep in mind that these shows don't always adapt everything from the comics." Superboy pointed out to him.
"Conner's right, if they did then I wouldn't have hooked up with Zatanna or Raquel, Wally and Artemis wouldn't be a couple, and lets not forget Conner's, La'gann's, and M'gann's relationship triangle either." Nightwing said to him.
"I wouldn't call it a triangle." Superboy pointed out to Nightwing.
"The point is don't worry too much about it Tim they might keep you guys together so stay whelmed alright." Nightwing said to the young Robin.
"You guys are right, I'm going to stop worrying and get Cassie the best Valentines she's ever gotten." Robins said with renewed confidence.
"What about you Dick?" Superboy asked him.
"Yeah, you wanted to know what we had planned buy you haven't told us anything about your plans." Robin said just as curious as Superboy.
"Oh trust me I got something good in mind for Valentines Day." Nightwing told them with a grin on his face.
"Will it be for Babs, Starfire, or Zatanna?" Superboy asked him.
"Or maybe Supergirl, Powergirl, or Huntress? Then again it could probably be a villain for all we know." Robin stated to Superboy.
"Yes." Nightwing answered with a grin on his face.
"So is that a 'yes' to the villain or one of the heroes?" Superboy asked him.
"Yes." Nightwing repeated with that grin still on his face.
"So it's 'yes' to both then?" Superboy asked him again.
"Maybe." Nightwing said messing with them.
"Alright now you're just messing us." Robin said catching on to what Nightwing is doing.
"Did you guys know that Jason also has plans for Valentines Day?" Nightwing asked changing the subject.
"We all know that he's just going to hit the bar looking singles who are upset that they don't anyone to spend Valentines Day with." Robin answered.
"He dose it every year, well except for that one time when you guys were busy chasing after Calendarman." Superboy pointed out.
"Good thing we caught him otherwise that would've been one bloody Valentine; anyway believe it or not, but this year he has actual plans for Valentines Day." Nightwing said which did surprise both Superboy and Robin a little bit.
"Wow never thought I'd ever see the day." Robin said with Superboy nodding his head in agreement.
"Is she a hero, villain, antihero, alien, government agent, or a civilian?" Superboy asked him.
"I'd say a little bit of both hero and antihero." Nightwing answered back to the young clone.
"So you've already met her then?" Robin asked as Nightwing nodded his head.
"I've met her and she seems pretty cool of course if you bring it up around him he's going to deny it. You know Tim maybe you and Cassie should double up with them, then again maybe I should suggest this to Wally and Artemis." Nightwing said with a chuckle.
"Me and Cassie going on a double date with Jason and his lady friend? Sorry Dick but I'm going have to give that a hard pass." Robin stated as he shook his head in a 'no' gesture.
"Same here." Superboy said not wanting any part of it.
"Fair enough guys, but I'm sure you guys would have a lot to talk about." Nightwing said with a wide grin on his face much to the confusion of Robin and Superboy.
A/N: Well there you go guys chapter 37, I hope that you enjoyed it because I plan on doing a Valentines Day chapter next and this is the set up for it.
Now I haven't done a Valentines Day related plot since my one-shot story I did a few years back; so here's what I'm planning on doing, I am going to put Nightwing's voice to good use here to try and a song for him. Also I intend to use all of the women that was either attracted to Dick or was in a relationship with him, so I'm going with everything from the comics to the movies and if you guys have a few in mind let me know.
Also I'm going to try to get the next chapter uploaded either before or on Valentines Day and if by some chance I miss the date then I'm going have to put it off until next year so here's to praying I get it up on time.
One more thing the whole date night thing with Jason is a reference to the upcoming issue of 'Red Hood and the Outlaws' which just so happens to come out on the Valentines Day, I can't wait to read it.

"Hey Jason we were just talking about you." Nightwing greeted as the Red Hood approached their table.
"I don't know what Dickwad over here has been saying about me but just so you know this is not a date got that?" Red Hood stated as he walked away from them.
"Almost forgot, but there's going to be some new information about my upcoming movie later on in the month." Nightiwing said to both Robin and Superboy.
"Something tells me that's probably the real gift here." Robin commented.
" Tim it probably is." Superboy agreed.
