Sam jolted up from his face down laying position and found himself lying on the curb of a street passing through a convenient store. It was finally night time and the light of the crescent moon light mixed in the artificial lighting of the street lamps reflecting on the pavement. With his heart racing, Sam sat up and patted himself down checking for any damage and finding it a miracle that he had landed on the ground unscratched. Then he jerked his head around looking for Niro. In his head, Sam conjured different theories to understand his situation. Castiel must have answered his prayers and whisked him away on the ground. Why would he leave without a word, though? Then again it was Cas. Maybe it was Niro who saved him.
As if on cue Sam found Niro leaning on the side of the convenient store across the road. Sam hopped onto the sidewalk, looked both ways at the empty street, and rushed across the street.
"Dean." Came out of his mouth. Sam frowned and corrected himself. "Niro." He knelt down in front of the unconscious sitting alien. "Niro." He took the whistler's shoulders and shook them. "Hey." Out of habit he checked for the Alien's pulse on the wrist. He panicked for a moment when he found no such thump. But the Alien's different biological format rushed back to him memory. He decided to shake Niro again. "Hey."
The alien suddenly jolted it's eyes open taking its back off the wall. Sam forgot how to breath a moment when he saw Niro's eyes immersed in black with only the violet outline of its irises visible. They were like violet disks in a sea of black. The sudden thought of Niro being a demon flashed in Sam's mind. But Niro was an alien. Aliens don't get possessed, right? Then Sam had a mini heart attack thinking of how he would deal with a demon alien. The Winchester found himself taking a step back.
Niro blinked and its eyes reverted back to normal. Its familiar sharp retinas staring into Sam's bewildered face.
"Never make me do that again." Niro greeted.
"You..., brought us here?" Sam arched his eyebrows inward.
"You started praying. What was I supposed to do?" Niro motioned to stand up.
"I thought you said you didn't have a teleportation device."
"I don't." Niro leaned on the wall looking a bit woozy. "In fact. I wasn't even suppose to do that."
"What, like galactic orders? Niro, we were about to-"
"No." Niro staggered to turn around. "Like I'm not biologically capable of doing that."
"What? So you suddenly got superpowers or something?" Sam scoffed.
"Don't be silly." Niro lugged its body around and started walking toward the sidewalk before throwing up a clear jelly substance on the street.
"You ok?" Sam caught up with it.
The alien looked at him at the corner of it eyes and very naturally said "No" before collapsing onto the pavement. A little suction cup fell off of its pocket. The same type suction of cup the evaporated the entire car. Sam bent down and put it in his pocket.
