So Annabeth and I have made up-ish and I don't know if it's exactly a good thing or bad thing that we're not 'going out', I mean no body has noticed yet so I guess that much is a good thing but know it's different because they're limits to what we can do around each other. On a brighter note Annabeth started making blue waffles again, and life just became that much better.

It was May and instead of preparing for the exams, Apollo decided to give us a new subject to learn. He claims that it'll benefit us to learn about some 19th century stuff. So there I was in class with Annabeth and the others waiting for Apollo to arrive, boy was he late. So when the door finally opened instead of Apollo coming into the class it was Aphrodite.

There were a lot of question on why Aphrodite was here, either that or drooling from the guys in the class, I'll admit I was one of them but binders of drooling I was more admiring her beauty. Her hair this time was red but not as red as Rachael's it was darker but either way she pulled it off.

"I know that a lot of you may be wondering why I am here instead of Apollo, we'll let's just say that he had a change of mind," her voice chimed. As sweet as it was, you could hear the slyness.

"So why are you here instead?" someone in the back asked.

Aphrodite gave a glare before turning into a forced smile. "Be-cau-se," she said while examining her nails. "I can, now is there a problem?" She asked in one of those teacher tones when you automatically agree with them just with more influence.

"N-no ma'am."

"Good," she gave a victorious smile.

Aphrodite then wrote some things on the board in a fancy cursive writing making it almost impossible to read with my dyslexia.

"The waltz," she said as she put the chalk down. "That is what we'll be learning about today. Now everybody, partner up or better yet partner up with your roommate." So we did.

"Um we're not learning the waltz, Apollo said that we would be starting a reading," the same person in the back asks.

I think that Aphrodite was getting annoyed now. "Well I'm the teacher now so I suggest that we listen to my lesson plan. I'll talk to Apollo to let it go, I'm very convincing you know."

I think whoever that was in the back finally got the idea and kept their mouth shut.

"Now for the waltz it's pretty simple to learn but everything must be done properly in order for it to look nice."

Aphrodite started giving the instructions on how we should stand, the positions of our arms and how we should move.

"Does everybody get it?" She asked. Instead of an answer back we were silent.

"Can we have an example?" The person in the back once again spoke.

"You know, that's the smartest thing I've heard you say all class. Oh Pippy-poo come here and help mommy and bring your boyfriend while you're at it."

"Mother!" Piper shouted. She and Jason were either red from embarrassment or anger, probably both. The fact that her mother called her Pippy-Poo wasn't helpful and the whole class no brothering to hold in a laugh didn't help her esteem much either.

"Ugh, you were so much cuter when you were younger, oh I remember this one time when you were 5-"

"MOTHER!" Piper shouted.

"Oh fine, fine, just come up here with Jason and I'll stop talking about it."

Aphrodite went and positioned the couple then finally we started practicing but it wasn't exactly a good thing.

"Now normally for the waltz we wouldn't dance to a song with words but hey since when is Olympia University ever normal?" Then she headed over to press play.

Can you imagine?

If we could have any dream.

Then I would thank that star

That made our wish come true

"Annabeth I'm still not sure about this, I'm going to break your toes," I confessed.

"It's okay, I got this. First, take my hand," she held her hand out for me. "Good, next calm down, I can feel you trembling. Second, pull me close by stepping in. Percy you're not going to break my toes as you put it, now," she placed her hand under my chin, making me look at her eye. "Keep your eyes on mine and just listen to the music, it'll be your guide."

Taking a deep breath, I started to do the moves that Aphrodite showed us with Jason and Piper, it wasn't that bad after all. I didn't break Annabeth's toes but I did step on them a few times but she would just step on mines back and then smile innocently as if nothing happened.

"Percy dear, great job," Aphrodite patted me on the back then whispered. "I picked this song just for you, use your brain to figure it out." Before I could ask anything she headed over to Piper and Jason, probably saying more embarrassing things judging by Piper's reaction and new skin tone.

I was wondering what Aphrodite meant by she picked the song out just for me, so I played closer attention to the music.

I was thinking about those lyrics, Annabeth did mean a lot all well pretty much everything to me. She is my best friend, probably even a closer friend than Grover who I've known since I was 12. I was looking, was getting lost in Annabeth's eyes so they goes the first two lines. What really caught my attention was the third line. I mean when Annabeth came around, now especially I do get this warm feeling inside of me, but my thoughts were cut short when the sprinklers went off.

"Don't worry class, it's nothing," Aphrodite said as she moved something behind her back. Yet during the whole time of the sprinkler incident I kept staring into Annabeth's eyes.

"Percy, you okay? You're staring at me like I'm a blue waffle and it's freaking me out," Annabeth waved her hands in front of my face, snapping me out of my daze.

"Yeah it's nothing." Then at that moment I realized something. That I, the world's biggest and only Seaweed Brain is in love with my best friend, and the worst thing is I don't think she feels the same way about me.'

For the rest of the class, so five minutes I kept my distance away from Annabeth, just in case I say something stupid.

When class finally ended I bolted out so fast, I'm pretty sure I set some record. I kept running until a hand stopped me, at first I thought it was Annabeth but when it ended up being Piper, I was surprised.

"Uh, hi Piper?"

"Oh please, I'm not here to chit-chat, let me tell you this quick before Annabeth finds out and kills me," she said with a glint in her eyes. Although she doesn't claim it, Piper is a lot like Aphrodite in some ways. "Look, I'm pretty sure that you've realized it by now that you like Annabeth." I wanted to protest but Piper kept talking. "Don't fool around with me in things like this Jackson. Anyways, nobody else knows that you guys broke up so just make a move on her already. She likes you too, why else did you think she acted that way when Calypso was there?"

I kept Piper's words in my mind but every time I wanted to tell her I ended up chickening out and before I knew it, the school year was finished.

Before I bore you with anymore of my miserable love life, let me fill you in on the graduates. Thalia and Luke decided to move in together because they claimed that it's because they're used to it, but everyone knows that it's a lie. Malcolm ended up being the valedictorian but it wasn't a shocker to anybody. He and Bianca both decided to follow in their parent's footsteps. I don't know exactly what happened to Silena and Beckendorf because as soon as the ceremony was finished they high tailed it out of the school. Even Clarisse graduated and got a boyfriend, Chris. The fact that she, one,of the most scariest girls on campus got a boyfriend as nice as Chris shocked us all.

Well that's about it. My birthday is approaching the corner and I plan on telling Annabeth how I feel before it happens.
