I would like to thank everyone for the reviews, follows, and favorites. I am sorry it's been a while since I've updated between holidays, school, and work life has been crazy. I've also had major writers block. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I hope you enjoy this chapter.
JJ and Maddie went to Will's after they arrived back from the competition, Will had arrived home a couple of hours before. JJ had called Sandy when they arrived back to the studio letting her know they were home but she would probably be staying at Wills. When they arrived at the house, Maddie was asleep in the car, Will came out to help JJ with the girl.
"I see you made it one piece." Will whispered as he took Maddie out of the car.
"We did but barely." JJ replied as she grabbed Maddie's bag.
She followed Will into the house, she sat on the couch as he put Maddie to bed. It had been a long weekend with all the girls competing, the two bus rides, and the mothers, JJ was thrilled when Emily told them that tomorrow they would have the day off. She closed her eyes waiting for Will to come back in the room, she didn't realized that she had leaned her head back until she felt his lips on hers.
"I couldn't resist." He told her as he walked around the couch, sitting down next to her.
"You look tired, I hope you are not planning on driving home." He told her.
"I was hoping to stay here, Maddie asked if we could have breakfast." As she cuddled closer to him.
"You are always welcome to stay here. I was going to ask you to come early in the morning if you wasn't anyway."
"Why?"
"I found some pictures of Cindy and Maddie, I was going to show her them but wanted you to be there."
"She is going to be thrilled and it is a good thing. Will, no one can replace Cindy even though Maddie doesn't remember her."
"I know but her asking if you could be her mommy, then asking questionings about Cindy. I guess I didn't realize how much she wanted a mom, I assumed Mamma and Alex could feel that role, I was wrong."
"No you weren't and you have done amazing with her. I was telling her the truth when I told her I would be lucky for her to be my daughter however I know we have a long way to go before that happens. You and I will figure it out."
"I love you."
"I love you." As she kissed him.
"Let's get you to bed." As he stood up.
"Lead the way." Standing up.
She followed him down the hallway to his room, they both quickly changed then climbed into bed. Will wrapped his arms around her before they fell asleep.

The next morning.
When JJ woke up feeling the small body pressed against her, she froze for a moment when she realized Maddie was in the bed with her and Will, then she realized she could feel the heat coming off Maddie's body. She looked down to see the little girl staring up at her.
"Hey pretty girl."
"Hi." She whispered.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't feel good my belly hurts."
"Why you in bed with daddy?" she asked before JJ could saying anything about her belly ache.
"I needed somewhere to sleep and daddy said it was okay if I slept in here. We need to wake him up so we can get you something to make your belly feel better."
"Can you stay with me?"
"I can."
JJ quickly rolled over to wake up Will, she shook his arm, laughing when he grunted.
"Will you have to get up." she whispered.
He grunted something, she was almost positive she knew what he said but didn't want it repeated with Maddie in the room.
"Will, Maddie is in the bed with us her belly is hurting."
He opened his eyes, looking at her, he could see Maddie's head against JJ's side. He wondered how many questions she was going to ask about JJ being in his bed. He rubbed his eyes a couple more times before saying anything.
"Angel what's wrong?"
"My belly hurts really bad."
"And she's warm." JJ told him.
Will felt her head agreeing with JJ immediately.
"Let's get you some juice and your temperature taken."
Maddie simply nodded, while Will and JJ both climbed out of bed he picked Maddie up carrying her into the living room. He laid her on the couch before he realized JJ was in the kitchen getting Maddie some juice.

"Here you go." JJ coming back in the living room, she handed Will the juice.
"Thanks."
"No problem. Where's the thermometer?"
"I'll get it, if you don't mind staying with her." As he handed Maddie the juice.
JJ sat down next to Maddie, smiling when the girl cuddled up next to her.
"I think we will be fine."
JJ watched Will walk out of the room, she assumed he was going to bathroom then she looked down at Maddie, who looked miserable. JJ also noticed the picture album sitting on the table, which she didn't notice last night.
"Okay, I found the one that goes on your forehead." Will as he walked back in the room.
JJ noticed he not only had the thermometer but medicine. Maddie nodded her head, looking at Will.
"You have to sit up so we get your temp and not JJ's." Will explained.
Maddie sat up doing what she was told, but she didn't look happy as Will put the thermometer on her head. JJ and Will both waited for the beep before looking at each other, her temp was 100.
"You need some medicine."
"Okay." She whispered.
As Will gave her the medicine, he noticed that Maddie had went back to laying against JJ.
"It looks like she has replaced me." He teased JJ.
"Please I know better than that and so do you."
"Daddy can you stay with me too?"
"I can." As he sat close to both of them.

He started rubbing Maddie's back, she was trying to fight going to sleep; she looked around the room noticing the album on the table.
"What's that?" as she pointed to the table.
"Well, you asked about your mom and I found some pictures of the two of you together." Will explained.
"Can I see?" as she looked at JJ.
"If you want to look at them." JJ looking at Will.
He leaned forward and picked up the picture album before leaning back, Will opened the album to the first page as he sat it on his lap. They both watched as Maddie studied the picture of Cindy, Will, and Maddie shortly after Maddie was born, she stared at the photo before she said anything.
"I was little."
"Yes you were." JJ, when Will didn't say anything.
"What's her name?"
"Cindy." Will answered simply.
"She looks nice."
"She was." Will again.
"Do you think I look like her?" Maddie asked as she turned the page looking at different pictures.
Will looked at JJ, she could tell he couldn't answer Maddie, he looked upset she also knew he was sad for Maddie.
"You have her nose and mouth but you have your daddy's eyes." JJ told Maddie.
"Daddy did she love me?"
"She did Angel, she just didn't think she was a good enough mommy for you. I wish I could change that for you and her."
"Thank you daddy." As she closed her eyes.
"You are welcome."
JJ and Will watched her fall asleep, before either of the spoke.
"Thank you." As he closed the book.
"For what?"
"Helping with her questions."
"I am always here."
They sat there talking about Maddie and Cindy, before Will realized that he had to work today. JJ offered to keep Maddie for the day, knowing that Will wouldn't be far and neither would her mom, if she needed them.
