Title: An Unforgettable Christmas (Part 5)

Genre: Humor/Family/Sci-Fi

"Elsa?" Anna groans as she sits up.

"I'm here..." Elsa replies as she rubs her head and looks around. "Where are we?"

"I don't know." The two of them look around and see that they are in the forest, the darkness meaning that it is night. "Is this corona?"

"I'm...not sure." Elsa says as she and Anna walk through some trees and come across a small hill. They realize that they have never seen this landscape before. "Hey...see those lights in the distance? Maybe that's a town."

"Maybe. Ooh...if I find that duke and Hans, I'm going to strangle them to death." Anna scowls.

"Come on. There might be wolves or bandits in this forest. Hopefully someone will know where we are." The two sisters walk down the slopes of the dense forest until they reached a small stream which they continued to follow towards the lights in the distance.

"I think I see a path up ahead." Anna says as she runs through some bushes. She stops by the edge of a road and peers at it with a raised brow. "Well...I think it's a path."

"So which way then?" Elsa asks.

"We'll just go right." Anna says as they begin walking down the middle of the road. "I think we're somewhere near the region of corona, judging by the weather and the trees."

"I've seen trees like this in Arendelle as well." Elsa says.

"Uhuh...care to explain how someone would get from corona to Arendelle instantly?"

"Well who knows what that duke did to us?" Elsa says. The two of them are interrupted by a faint light approaching them from the distance which appears to be getting closer to them with each passing second. "What is that?"

"I don't know." Anna says as she starts to shield her eyes from the bright light. They both jump when they hear a horn-like noise, causing Elsa to pull her sister to the side just as something rushes past them at high speed with a slight roaring noise. "What was that?!"

"I...don't know." Elsa says as she gazes at the object now receding into the distance, two red lights in its wake. "I think we should stay on the edge of the path until we reach a town or something."

"Where the heck are we?!"

"I'm going to kill that asshole!" Hans screams as he sits up and looks around at the darkness surrounding him. He let's out a scowl before standing up and trying to see where he is. He appears to be in an alleyway of some kind, lit dimly by the orange glow of a light just ahead.

"Where the hell am I..." Hans mutters to himself as he steps forward towards the orange light at the end. He finds himself at a street surrounded by numerous houses on either side with some cars parked nearby. He stares at the cars for a second, wondering what they are, before deciding to walk down the street and see if he could find help. He sees a person in the distance and decides to walk up to them.

"Hey...you..." Hans calls out as a guy turns around and looks at him. He looks at the prince's attire with a raised brow before looking at the prince himself. "Yeah you. What is this place?"

"Excuse me? Who do you think you are talking to me like that?" The guy asks gruffly.

"I am prince Hans Westerguard of the southern isles. Now where am I?" Hans asks with a glare.

"Go back to your asylum weirdo." The guy growls before walking away and leaving the prince staring after him in frustration.

"What the heck was that supposed go mean." Hans mutters as he looks around for another person. He sees another person walking hurriedly through the street and walks up to them. "Hey you!"

"AAH!" The woman jumps in shock as hans pulls her back. Before Hans can comprehend, she wipe out a taser and tazes him. The prince lets out a slight shriek before collapsing to the ground and twitching while the lady hurries off.

"Huh...7...11?" Anna reads as the two of them stand by the edge of the store. "Reminds me of Oaken's trading post. Do you suppose they sell food? I'm starving!"

"Shouldn't we be trying to find out where we are?" Elsa asks as Anna walks towards the store.

"I'm sure they can tell us as well." Anna says as she enters the store, Elsa following suit.

"Evening." The guy at the counter mutters as he sees the two girls enter. He raises a brow at their attire but shrugs it off as he returns to his mobile.

"Huh...they have a lot more stuff than Oaken's." Anna says as she browses the shelves. Elsa is too busy wondering what half the stuff in the store is while her sister browses the shelves before moving towards one of the fridges. "Wow...Elsa...look how cold it is in here..."

"Excuse me..." Elsa says as she walks up to the cashier.

"Rough night at the university?" He asks without even looking up from his mobile. Elsa stands in confusion before asking, "Um...do you know where we are?"

"Uppsala."

"What?! We're in Sweden?!" Elsa gasps.

"Yeah...you didn't...know that?" The clerk asks as he wonders whether they are mental patients.

"You wouldn't by any chance...know how to get to Arendelle...would you?"

"Arendelle? Oh I think you mean Arendal. There's a bus station a few blocks up. They should have one that goes towards Arendal."

"Erm..." Elsa says as she wonders what a bus is.

"Hey Elsa...you hungry?" Anna asks as she runs up to them with a few bottles and fruits and places them on the counter.

"That'll be 7.99"

"Here you go." Anna says as she hands him a few notes. He stares at them for a few seconds before looking back at them with a raised brow.

"I'm sorry...but...we only accept euros."

"Oh...what kingdom are those from?" Anna asks.

"Er...Europe...as in...most countries here." The clerk says as he stares at the redhead incredulously.

"Oh...erm...we don't have any euros...will this bracelet do?"

"You want to trade in a gold bracelet for this?" The clerk asks in shock.

"Why...too much?"

"No...no...not at all." He says as he grabs the bracelet and hands them a bag. "Will that be all?"

"Well...we we were hoping you could tell us how to get to Arendelle." Anna says as she hands Elsa the bag.

"As I just said... take the bus to Arendal."

"Oh...OK...what's a bus?"

"Are you screwing around with me here?" The clerk asks, slightly annoyed by the girls lack of common sense.

"Um no..."

The clerk sighs before walking through a door in the back. They can here him rummaging around through something before he returns with a piece of paper and a map.

"Here...this is what a bus looks like. And this...is a map to get to Arendal." He says as he hands them to Anna. "Now...I don't need to walk you to the station do I?"

"Nah...we can find it." Anna says as she looks at the tiny map. "Thanks."

"No problem." He mumbles as he watches the girls exit the store.

"Right. According to this, the bus station is a few streets down. And this is a bus. I wonder how many horses it takes to pull this."

"I don't think they use horses here anymore." Elsa says as she looks at the cars parked out front. "Anna...er...you don't think...we...might be in the future?"

"What makes you say that?" Anna asks as she glances up from the map.

"Well...these look like that invention we saw at the science fair. I think he called it a motorized carriage...one that doesn't run on horses. A car..." Elsa says as she points to the cars next to her. "And look...lights without flames...and...did you say that cabinet in there was cold?"

"Yeah...what are you saying?"

"I think we're in the future Anna."

"Really? Where them speedboats then?!" Anna asks as she looks around.

"Anna! Look...let's just get to Arendelle so we can see what's going on. Now, where that station he was talking about?"

"Somewhere over there." Anna says. "Come on...let's go."

Elsa follows Anna as she leads them down one of the main roads towards the place where the bus station is supposed to be.

"Are you sure this is the right direction?"

"Positive. The map says so. It should be just around this corner." Anna answers as they round a corner and come across a dead end street.

"So...where is it?" Elsa asks with a sigh as she sits on one of the walls while her sister inspects the map. "Wait...is that it over there?"

"Over where?" Anna asks as she looks up from the map and looks towards where her sister is pointing. She sees a large building in the distance with numerous buses parked in front and around it. "Oh...I guess we were a few streets too early."

"You think?" Elsa mutters as the two of them walk towards the building. "Wait...we don't have any money."

"I do." Anna says as she pats her pocket filled with notes.

"I meant money for this place. I don't think our money is valid here."

"Hey, you never know." Anna says as she walks through a door and towards a small counter. "Hi...erm...we're looking to get to Arendelle...or Arendal. Whatever you call it."

"Arendal? The next bus leaves in thirty." The man behind the counter says.

"Right...well...here's the thing...we don't really gave any money..."

"No money. No ticket." He answers.

"No...I mean, we don't have money from this place." Anna replies causing the man to look up.

"What money do you have?" He asks with a quirked brow. Anna digs into her pocket and pulls out a was of Arendellian notes and shows it to the guy. He nearly falls off his chair in shock as he eyes the notes in the princess' hands. "Oh my god...are those...Arels?!"

"Yes. Oh...I've also got some corons." Anna states as she pulls out a few more notes from corona causing the guy to gasp in shock.

"My goodies...these notes haven't been used in centuries. These are virtually priceless nowadays." He says as he picks up a 1 Arel note and inspects it, smiling when sees it's real.

"Well...it seems you like some of these notes so...wanna make a deal?" Anna asks.

Elsa watches from afar as her sister talks to the guy behind the counter, wondering what could have possibly gotten them all riled up. A few seconds later, and Anna leaves the counter with two tickets in hand while the guy stares excitedly at the notes on his hand.

"Got the tickets!" Anna says as she hands one to Elsa.

"I thought they didn't accept these notes?" Elsa asks.

"They don't...but apparently that guy is a collector of rare notes and he lacks Arendellian and Coronian currency from our time." Anna explains. "Apparently, these notes are priceless to collectors here. So I gave him a few notes in exchange for a trip to Arendelle, or Arendal as it is known now."

"Wait...of our notes are priceless because they're so rare...then just how far in the future are we?" Elsa asks.

"Well according to him? 2014."

"2014!" Elsa gasps in horror. "We're nearly 300 hundred years in the future!"

"Well actually, 237 years. So, a little over 200." Anna says as she looks at the tickets and then the buses.

"How is that any better?! We're so far in the future that our parents are dead...our children...our grand-children!"

"Wait...how do you know you'll be having children?" Anna asks with a smirk which Elsa answers with a frown. "I mean...you aren't exactly trying...er...I'll shut up now."

She groans in frustration before sitting down on one of the benches and burying her head in her hands. Anna sits next to her and comforts her by rubbing her back.

"Hey...if we found a way here, then I'm sure that well find a way back."

"How do you know that?" Elsa mumbles through her hands.

"This is the future. Who knows what it holds. Magic is probably very prevalent in this era. I seriously doubt they still discriminate people here or burn them at the stake."

"And how do you know that?"

"This...is the future!" Anna exclaims. "This is probably the era of a Utopian society, where crime is gone, discrimination is a thing of the past, and the world is united peacefully with freedom."

"Yeah...I suppose you're right. Do you think there are still monarchs here?"

"Maybe. We'll see once we get to Arendelle. Ooh...I think that's our bus." Anna points out as one of them pulls up. The sisters get in and pass by a few seats before choosing one by the middle.

"I get the window seat!" Anna says as she sits down while her sister sits next to her. The bus stays for a few more minutes before the conductor closes then door and it begins to leave in its nightlong journey to Arendelle. Anna smiles slightly as her sister rests her head on her shoulder and closes her eyes.

She looks out the window and admires the night times sky while wondering, just what is in stock for them in this new era, and just how beautiful the future is...

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!"

"C-C-Coffee ma'am." The worker stutters.

"Oh really. If I recall, coffee is supposed to be hot. DOES THIS FEEL HOT?!"

"N-n-no..." He mumbles. He winces as the lieutenant slams the mug down on the table, shattering it into numerous pieces and causing the coffee to spill everywhere.

"Now...let's try this again shall we? I want a coffee...and this time...make it hot! Otherwise, I'll shove your head in the fucking kettle until you know how to use it!"

"Yes ma'am!" He says as he runs off towards the kitchen.

"Lieutenant Salliza..."

"It's Sally!" She growls as she whisks around and glares at the guy.

"Yes lieutenant." The guy answers as he looks to the ground.

"What is it?" She asks as she takes a sandwich from one of the worker's plates.

"I...I received this from the research division." He says as he hands her a piece of paper. She takes one look at the paper and spits out the sandwich in shock, reading everything again to ensure it was real.

"When did we receive this?!" She asks with a glare.

"A few minutes ago...um...lieutenant?" The guy asks as she brushes past him and rushes off to the labs below. She kicks open the door, startling everyine within.

"This better not be a pissing joke!" Sally says as she slams the paper down and approaches the lead scientist.

"It isn't ma'am. About a few hours ago, we picked up a powerful signature with out detector arrays. Now since these arrays are very sensitive, it's easy to determine what is background noise and what is an actual detected signal. The system detected a large pulse about three and a half hours ago, spanning around 4 seconds, followed by another sizable pulse 30 seconds later lasting for a mere 2 seconds. Did you understand?"

"Do I look like I speak bloody science?!"

"Um...what he's trying to say ma'am, we found signs of a wormhole. Something, around three hours ago, disrupted time and space and entered our time. This isn't a mistake. There is no way that this is interference. This is a clear signal..."

"Wait...wait...wait! What do you mean, entered our time? What the hell does this thing do again?"

"It detects disruptions in space and time...telltale signs of time travel. We've been observing the world for years trying to find something but to no avail, until today." He answers.

"So, what you're saying is...something, or someone, just time traveled?" Sally asks with a raised brow.

"Yes."

"Do you know how fucking stupid that sounds?"

"Yes ma'am. But we have more evidence to back it up. The HAARP array sent us some information about a major disruption that they detected at the same time, the same amount of occurances and the same timespan. We have...managed to pinpoint the approximate locations of these disturbances."

"Where?" Sally asks as she approaches one of the monitors and looks at the map.

"The first pulse was detected somewhere around the region of Uppsala, Sweden. The second pulse was detected just outside of Arendal, Norway." The scientist explains as the lieutenant looks at the map.

"So, you're saying that someone just time traveled out of these two places in Europe?"

"Not traveled out...someone or something traveled in." The scientist says causing the lieutenant to frown.

"Does anyine else know about this?"

"Anyone else ma'am?"

"Any other country? Do the Russians know?" Sally asks.

"No...not yet anyway..."

"Well, if what you're saying is true, then we cannot allow this information to leak out to anyone! Get your stuff together! We leave for Norway now!"

"Sir. We can't find them anywhere..." The Coronian guard says as he enters the room.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Agdar asks as he tries to comfort his wife. For the last few hours, the guards and royals have been searching for any sign of the queen and princess of Arendelle, as well as the prince of the Southern isles, to no avail.

"I'm sorry...but we're trying as hard as we can..."

"Try harder!" Agdar yells.

"Yes sir." The guard answers as he exits the room, allowing two southern island princes to enter the room.

"I take it you have news about my daughters?"

"Actually no. Were brothers of Hans. He is also missing..."

"How do we know your brother isn't responsible for Elsa and Anna's disappearance?!" Idun suddenly asks with a glare, causing the two princes to look at each other.

"We...we don't know that for certain..." Alexander says.

"He tried it before didn't he?" Idun says as she stands up and approaches the princes, who tense up as she approaches.

"Look...we're just as worried about them as you are. But we can't be certain of anything at the moment. Not until more evidence come through." Alexander says. Idun seems to become more infuriated by this statement but her husband holds her back before she can do any damage.

"You better hope that Hans hasn't done anything to them, otherwise I'll have both of your heads!" And with that, Idun storms out of the room with Agdar following suit.

"Your highnesses."

"What is it?" Alexander asks as she sits down on the chair.

"We have some news that may interest you. It's regarding the duke of Weselton." The guard says causing the princes to look up in shock.

"Elsa...wake up...we're here!"

"Where?" Elsa mumbles sleepily from Anna's lap.

"Arendelle." Anna answers. Upon hearing this, Elsa jumps up and looks out of the window. The first thing that strikes her is that Arendelle is virtually unrecognizable. The once quiet streets of Arendelle have now been replaced with a bustling city of proportions that neither Elsa, nor Anna, could have ever imagined Arendelle growing to.

"It's so...big..." Elsa says as they pass by a mall filled with dozens of cars and hundreds of people. "Are you sure we're in the right place?"

"Yeah. There's the north mountain there." Anna says as she points to the mountain in the distance.

"Alright folks. Wake up. This is the last stop, Arendal." The conductor says as they pull into a bus station. They walk off the bus and towards the exit where they then stop and stare at the people walking past and the numerous building around them.

"Now what?" Elsa asks her sister.

"I don't know. I was hoping that you would be the one to think of that part." Anna replies. They look at each other for a second before looking back around the street. "Maybe if we can find someone we know, they can help us."

"Really? 200 years in the future? I'm sure they'll be in the Arendelle cemetery by now."

"Wait! I know! Our great grand children. Anna exclaims as Elsa looks at her incredulously. "What? Have you got a better idea?"

"No...but how do you know that we have any grandchildren?"

"How do you know we don't. Surely you must eventually marry and have kids. No one stays alone." Anna says.

"Yeah...but...even if we do have great grandchildren here...how do we know where they are?" Elsa asks.

"The record books that you love so much. Surely they keep records of most of the people in Arendelle. Since this is the future, then we could just look up who our children are, and who they're children are, and so in till we find one who's alive."

"And then what?" Elsa asks. "We're just going to find them and say that we are their great grandparents from two centuries ago? Oh I can totally see that working..."

"I'll ask you again, have you got a better idea?"

"Well, no..." Elsa sighs.

"Great. So we just have to find the records and we'll be able to find our future grandchildren. Now where do you keep those records?" Anna asks.

"In my desk, in my study...in the castle."

"Right! Let's go!"

"Anna!" Elsa shouts causing her sister to stop. "They're not just going to let us waltz into the castle!"

"Uh...we're the queen and princess. We own the castle!"

"Not for two hundred years we haven't!"

"Doesn't matter. I've lived in the castle my whole life. I know all the secret entrances and passageways to the castle. The only thing is how to get through the castle gates...or how to get there..."

"Hey. Are you part of the dance group for the ice festival? I received a message saying that a few dancers would be arriving here." A guy dressed in a suit asks as he, and two other men, walk up to them. Anna and Elsa look at each other before nodding in response. "Well what are you just standing there for? Come on!"

They follow him towards a car waiting around the corner where he leads them in and closes the door.

"Hey, is the ice festival held close to the castle?" Anna asks as the driver gets in.

"Yeah, just outside the castle walls I believe." He answers as they begin driving to the castle. Anna and Elsa watch as they pass by the streets. Nearly every part of their kingdom has now changed. And as they approached the castle, they could see that has changed as well. The stone walls were still intact, but surrounding it was another smaller wall, as well as several guard outposts and souvenir shops.

The car pulls up by a large parking lot where numerous other vehicles are parked, along with a large crowd of people.

"Right. Here we are." The driver says as he let's then out of the vehicle. "The producer might want to see you over there, so I recommend you go there. I have to go pick up a few more dancers so if you need any help, see the producer."

"Sure thing." Anna says with a smile as he gets in and drives off. The minute he is out of sight, Anna pulls her sister towards the castle and by the front gate.

"Well, now what?" Elsa asks as they stand next to the gate. Anna walks up to the gate and gets stopped by two guards standing in her way.

"May I help you young lady?" One of the guards asks.

"Yeah...you see...I would like to enter the castle." Anna replies plainly. The guards look at each other before looking back at her.

"Do you have any ID?"

"Yep. I'm the princess of Arendelle."

"Ha ha. Very funny. No ID, no entry." The other guards says. Anna is beginning to get infuriated by the guards stubbornness and Elsa knows that she tends to lose it when that happens.

"Er...is there any way to get into the castle at all? My sister really likes castles." Elsa says as Anna glances at her with a frown.

"Well, there's always the tour guide." One of them says as he points to a group of people standing by a small entrance gate. "They handle tours around the castle. Just go with them and you can get in."

"Thanks." Elsa says before dragging her sister towards the group of people. "See...sometimes, patience and kindness wins."

"Hello dears. Are you two joining the tour?" An elderly woman asks as they approach the crowd. They nod in response. "Very well. Let's get on with it then."

Anna and Elsa follow the tour group into the castle where the elderly tour guide begins explaining everything.

"This, ladies and gentlemen, is the Arendal castle. Orjginally, this place used to be called Arendelle, but it was renamed to arendal sometime in the late 19th century. This here is the ballroom where the royals from all over the world used to congregate during special occasions such as a gala, or a coronagion. Stuff like that." The tour guide explains.

"Um, excuse me..." A young kid says as he raises his hand. "I once heard a story that Arendal was ruled by a queen with ice magic. Is that true?"

Elsa and Anna look at each other in shock as the tour guide raises a brow.

"My dear boy...those are just tales." The tour guide answers.

"Excuse me. Out of curiosity, what is this story?" A tourist asks.

"Well, the story is that she was a wielder of ice magic who plunged the entire Arendal into an eternal winter. She then used her powers to create an army of ice soldiers which she used for mass genocide and chaos. Eventually, someone did kill her, but they lost their life in the process. Well, that's what the tales say anyway." The tour guide explains. Anna is in shock but her sister is literally aghast.

"WHAT?!" Elsa shrieks causing everyone to look at her. "I DID NO SUCH...MMPH!"

"Sorry. My sister read a different version of that story. It was one about sisterly bonding or something." Anna says as she clasps her hand over her sisters mouth and restrains her. "So um...continue with the tour?"

"Very well." The guide says as the group of people continue through the castle, Anna and Elsa waiting behind. As soon as coast was clear, Anna releases her hand from her, glaring, sister's mouth.

"What did you do that for?!" Elsa growls.

"You were screaming. What was I supposed to do? We can't exactly reveal that you're the snow queen and me her sister." Anna answers.

"I can't believe this! I ran away on my coronation, so that I won't hurt anyone, and isolate myself, yet somehow, I get cast as a genocidal maniac that wanted world domination!"

"Well they're fairy tales. I'm pretty damn sure they stretch the truth and throw in a bunch of rubbish to make it sound good. You must admit, a story about a genocidal, ice wielding, maniac sounds a lot better than one about sisterly love and sacrifice." Anna laughs as her sister glares at her. "What?"

"Look. Let's just find the record books, and get out of here. Before someone catches us." Elsa says. Anna nods before sneaking across the hallway towards the door to the upper floors. She pulls out one of the hairpins in her hair and tries picking the lock. "Here...let me try."

Elsa approaches the lock and freezes it before hitting it slightly, causing it to break and swing open. The two of them walk up the stairs to where the Queen's study is. They look around the corner and wait for a pair of guards to pass, before running down the hallway and around a corner.

"There it is." Anna says as she sees the door to her sister's study. They approach the door and open it. "I guess you still don't lock if after all this time."

"Let's just find the records!" Elsa states as she walks towards her desk and starts searching. Anna roams around the room, noticing that a lot of things haven't changed. The chairs have been covered, but a log of things still remain in the same place they are in their era, including the furniture and books. "Found some!"

"Ooh...give them to me. I'll look through it." Anna says as her sister hands her the records. Anna flips through the pages and reads through it, looking for any signs of a successor. "Oh my god! I knew it! You have a daughter called Freja!"

"What?" Elsa gasps in shock as she runs over to Anna and looks at the records.

"Look...see? Princess Freja of Arendelle. Heir to the throne!" Anna reads. "With ice powers!"

"What? So...I have a daughter with my magic?" Elsa asks in amazement.

"Cool. Hey look...I have a child as well."

"Anna, I think that's a three. You have three children!"

"Oh wow. Let's see who their children out. Hmm...Annabelle. No children. Frederick...one child named Clara. Amanda...one child named Peter. Freja...one child named Eliza! So, three in total." Anna says as she flips through more pages while her sister looks through more of the bookshelves. "Peter...killed in battle...No heir...Damn. Clara...two children named Michael and Sarah. Eric...your grandson..one child named Loraine."

"I've found another book...no...it's just tax records."

"Hmm...Michael...has two children called Mark and Eran. All died along with wife in world war 1?"

"World war?" Elsa asks in shock. "You mean...a worldwide war? I didn't think something like that was possible."

"Neither did I. Hmm...Sarah...one child named...James. Eric...two children named...Terra and Claudia. James has a child named Lea. Claudia is murdered with no children. Terra has a child called David..."

"And then what?" Elsa asks as she sits in the chair and stairs at the books in front of her.

"And then...that's it...the records just end. It says, succeeding records stored in...server network? What's that?" Anna asks. Elsa shrugs as she picks up one of the books and looks through it.

"So, Lea and David. That means, if they're alive today, they'll be nearly 60 or 70 years old! It doesn't say if they had any children?" Elsa asks.

"Nope."

"How about addresses?"

"Nope."

"Well, we've found their names...now what?"

"I don't know. But if we have children, then that means that we must make it back to our era...somehow." Anna says as she places the records under her dress.

"Anna. You can't take that!" Elsa says.

"We own them so..."

"HEY!"

The sisters turn around and look to the door where a redheadded woman is standing there, and staring at them in shock. Elsa nearly gapes at the resemblance that woman has to her sister, but she pushes that aside as she realizes that they have just been caught out.

"Who are you?!" She asks as she takes a step towards them. Elsa and Anna look at each other as they try to think of a plan of escape. "I asked you a question! This room is off-limits."

"Um...well...we...I'm Anna and this is my sister Elsa. We're the queen and princess of this kingdom...before..." Anna says plainly.

"Oh ha ha. I don't have time for this! Now who are you really and what are you doing here?"

"I already told you!" Anna says. "Look. I'm princess Anna and this is my sister. We were the royals here in Arendelle during the um...18th century. We time traveled here and were just looking for a way to get back to 1780."

"Fine! Don't tell me!" She says.

"I'm not joking! Look...I can prove it." Anna says as she opens the desk and looks through it.

"Hey! That's expensive and fragile!" The redhead says.

"I know. I know! I heard it enough times from my sister as well!" Anna mutters causing Elsa to glare at her. "Here! Found it!"

"Anna...what are you doing?" Elsa whispers as she grabs Anna's hand and looks at the 230 year old painting of her and her sister together. "We can't show that to her. Who knows how she'll react."

"She'll probably freak out." Anna laughs as she pulls away and walks towards ththe redhead. "Here!"

She grabs the painting and looks at it, her eyes widening in shock as she glances between the painting and the two girls in front of them who are almost identical to the ones in the painting, except for the dresses.

Oh my god...theyre so similar! Are they really...no, NO! Thats stupid! Time travel isn't possible.

She looks at the painting in front of them before looking back at them.

"Hmm...you two bare a striking resemblance to the people in this painting but...for all I know, you could just be cosplayers in some kind of gag!" She says as she crosses her arms.

"What? Okay then...you want evidence? I am princess Anna Larsen of Arendelle and this is my sister Elsa Larsen. My father is Agdar Larsen and my mother is Idun Vandergard. I was born on June 21, 1770. My sister was born on December 21, 1767. Our parents were lost at sea around 1785 and my sister was coronated, three years later, until, after being stranded on an island for a few weeks, we found our parents still alive. Me and my sister were nearly killed by a homicidal prince named Hans Westerguard during her coronation in case you want more details."

The redhead looks at Anna as if she is insane but just shakes her head and takes a deep breath.

"Well, I can see you know your history and that impressed me, but anyone can just google all of that information or use Wikipedia. It's available." The redhead says while Elsa and Anna wonder what the hell she means. "I'm still not convinced. The theory that you're trying to say is so insane..."

"Oh I've had enough of this!" Elsa states as she jumps up. "I didn't travel 230 years and 300 miles just to be called a liar."

And with that, Elsa raises her hands and sends out a blast of snow and ice across the room, coating it in a light layer of frost while suspending numerous snowflakes all around the room. She then transforms the entire desk and chair into one made of solid ice and then creates numerous patterns and decorations out of ice and snow all around the room until it is virtually unrecognizable.

"I've always wanted to do that." Elsa giggles as she looks at her smirking sister. "There! Is that enough proof."

The young redhead stands in the middle of the room, speechless, eyes wide and mouth agape, as she looks around at the wonderland that Elsa has just created in front of her.

"I think she's paralyzed in shock." Anna says. She grabs a handful of snow and chucks it at the lady, causing her to squeak in shock and fall backwards onto the icy floor. Anna and Elsa let out a small giggle as they watch her struggle to get back up.

"Are you alright?" Elsa asks. The redhead looks around at the room before staring at the smirking girls in front of her.

"Oh my god...you...this...ice...who...who are you?"

"I told you. I'm princess Anna, and this is my sister queen Elsa. We're the royals of Arendelle from 230 years ago. Need more proof?" Anna asks.

"No...no...um. I think this is...enough." The redhead mumbles as she, shakily, gets back up. "Erm...I don't suppose you can clear..."

"No problem." Elsa says, and with a flick of her hand, the snow and ice coalesces together and then disappears.

"Leana? Is everything alright in there? We heard shouts."

The sisters look fearfully towards Leana, who is contemplating whether to tell or not.

"Leana?"

"Everything is...fine." She replies through the door. "I just dropped something."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. I'm fine." She listens as the guards walk away leaving the three of them in silence.

"So...you...really are the princess of Arendal?"

"Where we're from it's called Arendelle." Anna says.

"And you're the snow queen of Arendelle?" Leana asks Elsa as she looks at her in fear. Seeing the look of fear on Leana's face hurts Elsa as she sits back down on the desk.

"Hey...my sister is not dangerous. Those stupid tales you heard aren't true." Anna says. "My sister is the kindest, gentlest, person I know. She ran away so that she wouldn't hurt anyone, but that stupid legend says she was genocidal. That's not true...that's the complete opposite. Trust me...I know."

Leana still looks slightly frightened by the snow Queen's presence, but is a little more trusting after what Anna has said.

"So you really did come from the past?"

"Yes."

"But time travel isn't real." Leana says.

"But magic is." Anna replies. "So your name is Leana?"

"Yeah."

"Do you work here?" Elsa asks.

"Yeah. I'm the tourist adviser here. I handle all the tour groups that come through here." Leana says. "I also keep track of all the records stored here for document purposes...so I'm also the record keeper I guess."

"Wait...you would by any chance he able to help us? You see, we're looking for someone that we believe may be my great great grandchild. We have one name...someone called David Alderan?"

"Doesn't ring a bell...sorry."

"Oh...how about...Lea." Anna says. Upon hearing this, Leana looks at them in surprise.

"Lea? Lea...Elengard?"

"Yes. How did you know?" Elsa asks.

"Is...the birthday in there, March 17, 1963?"

"Yes. You know her?" Elsa and Anna ask in unison.

"Yes. I'm sorry but she passed away a few years back. Cancer." Leana says as Elsa and Anna gasp.

"Oh. I don't suppose she had any children, did she?" Elsa asks.

"She had one. A girl."

"Really?" Anna lights up. "Do you know her? Can you give us her name?"

Leana looks up at the two of them with a soft expression. Anna wonders for a second why, but Elsa gets it almost immediately.

"Oh my...you...you're her daughter?" Elsa asks as Anna gapes at her.

"Yes. She was mother. I'm her daughter. Leana Elengard Anderson." Leana says.

"You're my great great granddaughter?!" Anna asks in surprise, a smile appearing on her face.

"That would explain the similarities." Elsa mumbles as she looks between her sister and Leana. They both have reddish hair, Leana's being slightly darker, and their faces are similar though Leana is slightly taller than both of them. But even someone who has never met them before can tell that they're related.

"Cool." Anna says as she walks up to Leana and hugs her. "I'm your great great grandmother!"

"Yes...from more than 200 years ago. Wait, so that means I descended from the royal family of Arendelle."

"Yep. That makes you the princess then."

"Arendelle hasn't had a ruling monarch in over 100 years though. We're just a city in Norway now."

"Leana? You've been spending an awfully long time in there? Is everything alright?" A passing guard asks through the door.

"Yes. Everything is fine. Just...fixing some records." Leana calls back out.

"Oh...okay then. Be quick. I think we're closing for a few hours."

"We should probably go before you get caught." She say to the sisters. "I don't suppose you have anywhere that you're staying?"

"Er...no...not really. We kinda just took the bus here and walked straight to the castle. I even had to use Arels, but apparently no one uses them anymore." Anna says.

"Nope. It's all euros now." Leana states. "I suppose that...you could...stay with me for a while...I mean, we are relatives."

"Really?" Elsa and Anna ask.

"Yeah. I guess so. I don't really own anything much much, but it should be big enough for three. We should go now. My car is parked in the courtyard. Come on." Leana locks the room up as Elsa and Anna exit it, before the three of them make their way towards the ground floor and the castle entrance.

"Leana. Is everything locked up upstairs?" A man asks as he walks by them.

"Yeah."

"Alright. Oh, don't forget...the records are due on Monday..." He says before rounding a corner.

"There it is." Leana says as she points to the black car parked in the courtyard. She opens the door allowing Elsa and Anna to get in the back before she steps in as well and starts it up.

"How fast can these cars travel?" Elsa asks.

"Well it depends. Some go up to 100, others maybe 200 kilometers per hour." Lean says.

"Wait...you use metric now?" Elsa asks.

"Yeah. We've been using it since the early 1900s I think."

"Does everyone use it?"

"A few places still don't, but most of the world does." Leana says as she takes a turn and drives down a street towards a small row of houses. She parks out front of one of them before getting out and opening the door for Elsa and Anna.

"Is this your place?" Anna asks as she gets out and looks around.

"That one there." Leana points to a small house on the street.

"Wow...from royalty...to this. In our era we used to live in the castle you work in. Now that is big." Anna says.

"Yeah...well, I just live here now." She says as she walks up to the door and unlocks it.

"Do you live with anyone?" Elsa asks as they enter.

"Nope. Just me." Leana says as she closes the door behind them. The house is quite small, especially to Elsa and Anna who are used to large rooms and endless hallways. To the left of them is a small living room with a sofa, a table, and several other furniture's. Through that is also the dining room and the kitchen. They see a staircase heading upwards which is probably where the bedrooms are. "It's not much..."

"It's something." Anna says as she walks into the living room and sits down on the sofa. "Hmm...comfy."

"Sorry...I kinda left in a hurry this morning and didn't have time to clean up..." Leana says as she picks up a few plates and a box of food from the table. Elsa watches as Leana disappears into the kitchen while her sister fiddles with some of the stuff on the table.

"Ooh...what's this thing?" Anna asks as she pick up the TV remote and presses one of the buttons. Within seconds, the TV in front of them turns on to CNN, shocking the two of them. "Wow! What the heck is this?"

"That's a TV." Leana says as she cleans some stuff from the table. "There's a lot of stuff that we have in our world, that doesn't exist in your time. In 230 years the world has changed so much."

"Cool...how does it work?" Anna asks.

"Eheh... I don't really know. I'm not an engineer. Just use the remote to change the channel."

"Er..." Anna says as she looks over the remote she presses the number 2 and changes it to national geographic. "Hey...that looks like Africa."

"Where do these pictures come from?" Elsa asks.

"Oh...um...I think film crews document it..."

"Then they bring it here?"

"No silly. I think they just give it to the respective channels and then...the cable or satellite provider streams it. I use satellite TV so...I've got around 1000 channels."

"Satellite? What's that?"

"Its a...satellite. They orbit the earth in space...like...a couple of hundred of them." Leana says as she points upwards causing Elsa to gape.

"Up above?" Elsa asks to which Leana nods. Just then, Leana's phone rings catching the attention of both sisters. "And what's that?"

"Smartphone. I've got a message from my boss." She says as she reads the message. "Ugh...another reminder."

"Wait, how did you receive that message if he was at the castle."

"Er...text message?" Leana says as if it sounds so obvious, though to Elsa and Anna it wasn't. "It's...kinda like your mail...except it's electronic, and you can receive it anywhere in the world...instantly. As long as you have reception."

Anna and Elsa gape in shock as in their world, a message usually takes days, if not weeks, to arrive.

"Reception?" Elsa asks in confusion.

"Not that type of reception. Um...signal reception. Just be within range of cell towers. Please don't ask me how that works. I just know it works...and no it's not magic either. I'm not even sure magic exists in this era." Leana says as she grabs her keys and stuffs them in her pockets. "Say...are you two hungry?"

"Actually...yeah. We haven't eaten since we arrived here." Anna says.

"Great...we can go have some lunch then." Leana says as she grabs the remote and turns the TV off. "But first...you two can't go out looking like you've just come from cosplays. We need to get you two some modern clothes."

She walks upstairs and rummages through her closet, before bringing back down a few shirts and jeans.

"I'm not sure what will fit so, just try one on till you find one you like."

"Er...isn't it men who wear trousers?" Elsa asks as she holds up one of the jeans.

"Actually, in or era both men and women wear jeans. Culture has changed a lot too." Leana says. She exits the room for a few minutes and allows the girls to change, before entering back in. Anna is wearing a semi see through red blouse and jeans while Elsa is wearing a blue shirt with a few patterns on it and jeans.

"Anna...that shirt is see through..." Elsa says as she looks at her sister and can see her undergarments.

"Mm...that should be okay." Leana says as she places their dresses on the table.

"Seriously? That's okay here? Are you now going to tell me that girls in this era walk around half naked?" Elsa asks with a frown.

"Well..." Leana says, giggling when she sees the shocked expression on Elsa face. "Anna...just change into something less...revealing."

"Aww..." Anna mumbles as she picks up a green shirt and changes into it.

As soon as they're all ready, three of them exit the house, while Leana locks up, and gets into the car where they then drive towards the city center.

"So...what else has changed here?" Elsa asks knowing that the best answer would probably be everything.

"A lot. There's too much to explain." Leana says. "So...you got sent here by magic right?"

"Yeah." Anna answers.

"How?"

"Well...this guy...the duke of Weselton, was the one who sent use here. He wants to claim Arendelle for himself. He was helped by a prince from the southern isles who tried to kill my sister on her coronation and left me for dead. And now, he was responsible for sending us here." Anna says as Leana turns around and looks at her.

"Oh...well in our era its nearly impossible to get away with something like that. Out of curiosity, what is his name?" Leana asks.

"Oh...it was...LOOK OUT!"

Slam!

Leana slams her foot down on the brakes and comes to a screeching halt as she stares in panic in front of her. She had just run into someone and they are now lying in thd road in front.

"Oh my god...oh my god! I hit someone!" Leana gasps as she quickly opens the door and runs over to the person on the floor, Elsa and Anna following after her.

Leana looks at the guy she just hit. He has red hair and long sideburns and appears to be wearing some formal attire. She looks in concern at the guy she just hit as he starts to groan and snaps awake, but Anna is anything but concerned.

"What happened?" He mumbles as he opens his eyes and looks up, wincing in pain as he tries to stand. He looks to his side and sees an infuriated redhead looking at him with her sister standing next to her in shock.

"Hans!" Anna growls.

"Anna?" Hans asks in shock. "Oh...now I know I'm in hell!"

And then he blacks out.

Long time since I updated my stories.

So...future time travel won. Anyone got any ideas or prompts?
