Daze woke up looking outside to the sunset. She rubbed her eyes and sat up, she looked at the clock, it was seven p.m. She only slept a couple hours. Had it all been a dream? She looked down at her outfit, it was the same exact dress she wore last night, and she smelt Sky's cologne on her.
Yep, not a dream. She called up Tiffany. "Hey, Tiff." Daze said. "Hey, what's wrong?" Tiffany asked. "That's why I called you. Can you come over in about ten minutes or so?" Daze asked. Tiffany was confused but agreed anyway.
Daze thanked her and put her head in her hands. She wasn't hurt because Sky didn't kiss her, she wasn't sad, she was kind of thrilled. She also was confused. Did Sky want to kiss her, or was it just an accident?
Tiffany knocked on the door causing Daze to snap out of her thoughts. She walked over to the door and opened it. Tiffany walked in. "Okay, what's wrong?" Tiffany asked. Daze took a deep breath. "Sky and I almost kissed." Daze said, too fast.
Tiffany made a confused face and raised an eyebrow. "What?" Tiffany asked. "Sky and I almost kissed." Daze said, slower. Tiffany's eyes widened and she grabbed Daze by the shoulders. "Tell me everything!" Tiffany said.
"I don't know! I mean." Daze said, walking a bit and putting her head in her hands. "I mean, I'm just really both happy and confused." Daze said. "Why?" Tiffany asked. "I mean, I'm happy that we almost kissed, don't get me wrong. But, did he try to kiss me, or was just a spur of the moment? Is flustered about it or did he really want to kiss me?" Daze said.
"That I can answer that with a question. What has Sky done to impress you, or flirt with you?" Tiffany asked. "I don't know. I mean, we hugged, we went to the waterpark, we went to the park a lot, we recorded videos, we...held hands and slow danced." Daze said that last part a little quieter.
"Whoa, whoa, wait. You never told me that." Tiffany said. "I know. I should've come to you first. I'm sorry." Daze said. "It's okay. So now, on all of those trips, what happened involving both you and Sky?" Tiffany asked.
"Well, at the waterpark he rubbed sunscreen on my back. At the park that's the place where we held hands. Nothing really happened when we recorded videos together. The slow dance happened last night and that's when we almost kissed." Daze said.
Tiffany smirked. "Sounds to me like you're both head over heels for each other." Tiffany said. "What are you talking about? There's no way he likes me." Daze said. "Think about it. He's too nice to you, unlike other girls he's meet. He stares at you a lot, and before you ask, trust me, I've seen it. " Tiffany said.
"Just because of that doesn't mean anything." Daze said. "Maybe not, but I've known him since he and Dawn were dating, and Sky acted the same way around you as he did with Dawn back then." Tiffany said.
"Maybe, I'll have to talk to him about it." Daze said. "Probably, it's for the best." Tiffany said. "Just so you know, if I want any love advice, you'd be the first to I'd go to." Daze said. "Why me?" Tiffany asked. "You're married. You're an expert about this stuff." Daze said.
Tiffany laughed. "Okay, let's hang out for a while. Take your mind off of this." Tiffany said. "Sure." Daze said. They went downstairs and they went to the lobby and Daze found Sky, Tiffany saw Sky too and they quickly got out of there.
Tiffany got some coffee at a nearby coffee stand. She handed Daze a cup. "Drink it. It's really good." Tiffany said. Daze looked at the cup, then took a sip. Her eyes widened at the new taste. Then she started to chug it down. She drank half of it in three gulps.
Tiffany laughed. "Is it good?" Tiffany asked, still giggling. "Mhm." Daze said, while swallowing the milky drink. "Okay, hey, the walk of fame isn't too far from here. You wanna see it?" Tiffany asked. "The walk of fame? Sure!" Daze said.
They walked a couple blocks before coming upon pink glittery stars with names in gold lettering. "Hey, look! Mike Myers!" Tiffany said, pointing to one. "Robin Williams." Daze said, pointing to another one. "The Beatles." Tiffany said.
They pointed out several other ones, Elvis Presley, Bruce Willis, Kermit the Frog, Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, Grumpy Cat (Yes, it's true. Grumpy Cat has his own star on the Walk of Fame. Look it up.), Bugs Bunny, Marilyn Monroe, Mark Wahlberg, Chuck Norris, and many more.
They went to Griffith Park afterwards, it was so peaceful there. There were a ton of children playing on the playground. It reminded her of Raina and Cameron. Cameron would be eight years old in November and Raina would be twelve in December.
Raina and Cameron were two kids who loved to mess around. They would do anything to have fun. 'Kind of like me, I guess.' Daze thought. "So, anything new coming up?" Tiffany asked, taking a sip of her coffee.
Daze shook her head, although she was lying. Her birthday was tomorrow. "Maybe we could go visit Jason at the mansion." Tiffany said. "Jason lives in a mansion?" Daze asked. "You know about Team Crafted splitting up, right?" Tiffany asked.
Daze nodded. "Well, they went their separate ways, leaving Jason to live in the mansion that Team Crafted used to share." Tiffany said. "Oh. Okay, that makes a lot more sense." Daze said. "Yeah, Jason used to live in Texas, I think." Tiffany said.
"Oh, did he really?" Daze asked. "Yeah, he has a cat now named Teddy." Tiffany giggled. "What's wrong with the name Teddy? You have two cats named Link and Navi." Daze said. "I named Link after Link from Zelda and Navi after the familiar in Minecraft." Tiffany said.
"Exactly!" Daze said. They laughed. They kept strolling and talking and laughing until someone tapped Daze's shoulder. She turned and suddenly, her face turned really hard. "Jacob, I told you to go away." Daze growled.
"I don't care what you say. You're coming with me." Jacob said, grabbing her arm. Daze pulled her arm away. "I said no!" Daze screamed. "Who is this?" Tiffany asked. "This is Jacob." Daze said, with disgust. Tiffany's pretty face turned hard too.
"New friend of yours?" Jacob sneered. "Yes. Tiffany and I have been friends for a month now." Daze said. "YouTube channel?" Jacob asked. "IhasCupquake." Tiffany said, through clenched teeth. "Oh, so you're the girly, two million subscribers, Youtuber?" Jacob asked.
Tiffany narrowed her eyes. Daze took out her cell phone. "What are you doing?" Jacob asked. "Nothing." Daze lied. She was on Twitter. She just posted. 'Hey! I'm in Los Angeles in Griffith Park with IhasCupquake. Jacob is stalking me. Anyone wants to beat him up and meet me at the same time. Meet me here!'
She put her phone back in her pocket. Jacob, Daze, and Tiffany kept arguing, until five boys, around Daze's age, came over and pushed Jacob to the ground. "What the heck!?" Jacob shouted. "Shut up!" The first boy said.
They all looked at Daze and Tiffany. "You guys okay? We saw your tweet." The third boy said. "We're fine." Tiffany said. Jacob glared at the boys. "This how you normally treat people!?" Jacob said. "No. This is how we treat boys who are jerks to innocent girls." The fourth boy said.
"By the way, I got a restraining order against you. Since you violated it, I'm calling the police." Daze said. She took out her cell phone and called 911. She explained that someone violated her restraining order that she made against someone.
The police came a few minutes later and arrested Jacob. He was going to be put in jail for a month. "Thank you guys." Daze said to the five boys. "No problem." The fifth boy said. Daze wrote down her skype username and handed it to them.
"Skype me sometime, okay?" Daze asked. "Sure!" They said. "See ya!" Daze said, walking away and waving to them over her shoulder. "Wow. I can't believe they did that for us!" Tiffany said. "I know. I didn't expect someone to actually come!" Daze said.
They got back to the hotel where Sky and Ty were waiting for them. "Where were you guys? We've been searching for you." Ty said. "Oh, sorry. We just went to hang out." Daze said. "I found your tweet. Jacob the Jackhead came after you again?" Sky asked.
"Yeah. But he's gonna be put in jail for a month for violating the restraining order I put against him." Daze said. "Awesome! You won't have to worry about him for a while." Ty said. "Yep. Now, I'm extremely tired, I think the coffee I drank was decaf." Daze said.
"So, I'm gonna go to bed." Daze said. "Night." Sky, Ty, and Tiffany said. "Night." Daze called back. When Daze got into the elevator and the doors closed, Sky looked at Tiffany. "Did it work?" Sky asked. "Yep, step two, give Daze location is complete." Tiffany said.
"You didn't give away the surprise party, did you?" Sky asked. "Nope." Tiffany said. "Great. Her birthday is tomorrow. Let's throw a big one for her. Everyone is gonna be there." Ty said. They were really excited. This birthday would be one she would never forget.
