It was finally that time as all the Genin were gathered before the Third Hokage and the many Jonin by his side including a Sound Jonin who was in actuality Orochimaru in disguise. After another explanation as to why they were holding a preliminary and the purpose of the Chunin Exams to be in place of war they were asked if anyone wanted to give up at this point. To Naruto's shock Kabuto raised his hand giving up explaining to Naruto that because of what Dosu did to his ear in the forest he has nearly lost all hearing in that ear but he really did that intentionally. It was actually suspicious seeing Kabuto walk away AGAIN because the Third recognized Kabuto from the previous SEVEN TIMES! It was always here at this point that Kabuto would give up? Regardless the preliminary was to begin and it was explained that their names would be picked at random of who would fight against whom.

They started the board and the first fight was Yoroi versus Sasuke. Naruto and Sakura wished Sasuke good luck as they proceeded up to the balcony with their sensei just as everyone else. When signaled to begin by Hayate the battle was in Sasuke's favor as Naruto can already see the results of Sasuke's training shining. In the end though it was Sasuke that won the match with a Lion's Barrage joining up with Naruto and Sakura. From then on all three of them watched the following matches to come. Shino won against that Zaku, Kankuro won against Tsurugu meaning all of Kabuto's team was now out, and then came the match between Sakura and Ino!

"Sakura you can do this." Naruto assured.

"Whatever happens don't get psyched out. Stay calm and plan your move accordingly." Sasuke advised.

"Yeah prove to her that you are stronger than she thinks."

"Thank you guys."

Sakura and Ino's fight went on for some time more than fifteen minutes in fact but in the end it ended in a DRAW! Neither of them proceeds onto the Finals. Sakura was placed down near the balcony wall by Kakashi with both Sasuke and Naruto by her side as the board began cycling through names to pick out the next fight.

"Sorry but I didn't win…"

"Doesn't matter what does is that you put up a great fight and now everyone will think twice about you Sakura even Ino." Naruto said.

"Yeah…" Sakura replied with a smile.

"I'm proud of you Sakura." Kakashi said with a smile behind his mask.

The next round was Temari going up against Tenten and their fellow Leaf ninja was decimated so much she would be in medical for some time. After that round the next one was not so exciting but Naruto can see that Shikamaru was REALLY SMART in how he outsmarted Kin winning himself the match. The next match was then revealed as the two next combatants were displayed. Naruto looked upon it he saw what it said…

Uzumaki Naruto VS Inuzuka Kiba

"Yes I am getting the easy fight!" Kiba said aloud.

"Looks like you got your wish." Sasuke said.

"Yes I did."

It was finally that time for Naruto in the preliminaries. It was finally his turn to fight and against the very person he was praying to be matched with. He was somewhat excited being his turn to fight but also not so excited knowing Kiba was his opponent who right now was boasting saying he got it easy and that there was no way Naruto was going to beat him now. The reason Naruto was somewhat not excited was because he did not like Kiba in particular because of his conceded attitude and of course of what he said to him the other day. At least he can fight and at the same time shut Kiba up proving him wrong and making him regret those words. Naruto meant what he said the other day of his intentions to humiliate Kiba and now was the time. Kiba moved quickly leaping over the railing demonstrating his speed arriving on arena ground level faster than he was before and Naruto can see it.

"Come on get down here Naruto! It's time that I showed you how a real ninja fights!" Kiba said aloud holding his fist up to him.

Naruto didn't seem to move as he was just staring at Kiba from his position starting to grab attention making everyone wonder if he was having second thoughts. However he grew a smile before closing his eyes and it was a somewhat arrogant looking smile too. Naruto was not one to show off but hey what the hell this once right. By doing this he can make Kiba have doubt using that to his advantage which is a valuable tactic in combat. Make someone doubt their ability with the illusion of being someone they can't beat and they will lose confidence. It can be also be said sort of the same like hatred clouds one's judgment and mind almost blinding them causing them to strike without rational thought or plan.

Without even moving an inch Naruto was suddenly gone from his position and much faster than Kiba he was already on arena level standing across from Kiba wearing a smile with his arms crossed over his chest. Kiba blinked for a second before realizing Naruto was standing ahead of him refocusing his attention on him. To the brief display Asuma's interest was piqued and Kurenai actually blinked wondering if she was seeing things.

"Kakashi sensei did you see that? Naruto was so fast just now!" Sakura praised as she watched.

"I did Sakura…"

Kakashi was surprised for one main reason…

"He moved just as fast as Haku…maybe even faster."

On the other side of the arena upon the opposite balcony the Sand siblings were surprised as well especially both Temari and Kankuro, and as for Gaara he had that crazed bloodthirsty look in his eyes.

"Hey Temari did you follow that?" Kankuro asked.

"I'm going to be honest with you I didn't. Maybe it's because I didn't expect him to move like that caught me off guard."

"Yeah we were just caught by surprise that has to be it."

Gaara just stares in interest of Naruto now and returning to arena level Kiba adjusted his stance looking across to Naruto with a glare.

"How did he move so quickly?"

"Well finally it's my turn to fight. Oh Kiba you don't how long I have been itching for this watching everyone one else fight especially after Sasuke's fight."

"To fight someone as superior as me I can understand it's good to see you admit that."

"The only thing I admit to is finally fighting and the opportunity to kick your teeth in."

"What did you say?"

"Look here Kiba I am willing to let whatever you said yesterday go right now and all you have to do is walk away from this fight." Naruto announced.

"Excuse me?"

"This will end the same way that I could have back then don't you remember?"

Oh Kiba did remember.

"Trust me when I say you don't want to experience the end results. I have come farther than you or any of the others Kiba even my own team."

"You sound overconfident feeling so sure you can beat me."

"Oh I'm not overconfident…I KNOW I can beat you."

"You think just because you survived against a former swordsman of the Hidden Mist, defeated his subordinates as well as some low level Missing Ninja that you're better than me!"

"I seriously doubt you could've have lasted against any of them. Well maybe against the Demon Brothers they weren't so tough but against everyone else well good luck dude. If you really want hurt to injury I am pretty sure that even Sasuke is stronger than you. No wait he IS stronger than you what am I thinking?"

"SAY WHAT?!"

"Wow and already he is fallen for my trap. This should not take long if he can't see past his blind rage right now."

"Akamaru let's both make Naruto sorry for this! Are you ready boy?"

"ARF!"

"So I take it your declining surrender?"

"Surrender to you no way."

Naruto smiled.

"I was hoping you would say that."

"Kiba Inazuka of the Hidden Leaf versus Naruto Uzumaki of the Hidden Leaf begin!" Hayate announced aloud.

Kiba and Akamaru suddenly sprint forward toward Naruto who stood his ground slowly bringing up his arms as his TWO opponents closed in on him. Naruto would have probably said this again but this time Kiba was teamed up with his companion Akamaru so this changes things. As the two closed in it was Akamaru that increased speed sprinting ahead leaping through the air toward Naruto attempting to bite Naruto but Naruto just motions his form sideways without moving from his spot while keeping his sights upon Kiba from over his right shoulder standing vertically toward him. When it was Kiba's turn to strike he slashed his nails for Naruto who quickly brought up his right forearm blocking the incoming hand to quickly ducking low kicking his right foot under Kiba's feet successfully tripping him off his feet and Kiba's butt hitting the ground as Naruto was turned away from him in a kneeled postion with his back to Kiba. All the while at the same time Naruto avert his eyes up seeing Akamaru descending through the air down toward him to pounce but Naruto gave smirk. Before the dog's paws can even touch the kneeled Naruto he suddenly vanished leaving Akamaru in a collision course with his own master, Kiba.

Kiba seeing this quickly leaps back and away with his hands as Akamaru landed on all fours on Kiba's original position with the dog then leaping back away through the air landing beside Kiba once again.

"That was a close one." Kiba said as he looked around for Naruto.

Everyone saw how quickly that whole thing went out. It wasn't something that the veteran ninja haven't seen in their lifetimes but at how easily Naruto handled it was impressive. They were sure that they didn't even see Naruto having the slightest sign of worry in his eyes or body language.

Speaking of Naruto where did he go?

"Where the hell did he…?"

Naruto revealed himself behind Kiba spinning his form in midair performing a spinning kick but there was so much delay with it that it gave Kiba the amount of time to realize and react. Noticing his opponent over his shoulder Kiba escapes the attack by leaping away avoiding Naruto's roundhouse kick splitting Kiba and Akamaru apart from one another. Kiba and Akamaru come to a landing separated from one another now opposite sides of Naruto who landed upon a knee to slowly standing himself tall looking to be looking forward almost spacing out but he was paying attention. The Third Hokage would ask why Naruto was looking at him but he knew that Naruto really wasn't looking at him he was just ticking Kiba off intentionally and it was slowly working.

That or could Naruto be intentionally waiting for Kiba to strike so as to test his abilities?

"Just how are you this good?" Kiba demanded.

Naruto did not give Kiba an answer he was just standing there in silence.

"Answer me damn it!"

Naruto slowly closed his eyes. He was not going to lie he was enjoying this already doing this to Kiba making Kiba feel inferior to him. It's a part of his strategy but at the same time Naruto thought of this as payback against him.

"Answer me this Kiba why continue to even bother fighting when you know you've already lost?"

Kiba's eyes suddenly shot open wide. The statement even made spectators begin to judge Naruto wondering if he was being arrogant but anyone smart enough would know what Naruto was really doing here.

"I am going to be honest with you here Kiba. I was praying that I would be matched against you. I don't have a short fuse but what you said to me the other day set me off. There is no way I am going to lose this preliminary match understand that. With that said I say we should maybe perhaps step this fight of ours up a notch?"

"Oh look here Uzumaki is trying to act like the tough guy huh? How pathe-,"

Kiba was silenced when without warning Naruto vanished and reappeared before him in midair delivering his right foot across the left side of Kiba's face sending Kiba off his feet toward the ground. Then just as Naruto predicted right after kicking Kiba the dog Akamaru closed in on him from behind to attack but Naruto vanished from his position reappearing behind Akamaru while in stride reaching out yanking back Akamaru's tail and as he did Akamaru seemed to shed some big tear drops from his eyes before Naruto threw him over his shoulder away through the air. Right after he tossed Akamaru aside Naruto stood tall bringing up his left hand just in time to block Kiba's right leg blocking it as Naruto at the same time rears back his right fist to delivering it upon Kiba's chest sending Kiba once again off his feet this time tumbling backwards along the concrete.

"Oh wow Kiba is getting decimated by Naruto even with Akamaru down there with him and this match barely even started. When did Naruto become so strong?" Choji wondered aloud with Shikamaru.

"I will be honest with you you're guess is as good as mine." Asuma said as he watched on.

"Kakashi sensei Naruto is just amazing right now." Sakura said as she watched Naruto.

"He has gotten stronger." Kakashi replied.

"How does he do it?"

"Knowing Naruto it is most likely through dedication and hard work in his training."

"You're right he does mention on multiple occasions how much he loves to train."

"This is odd since when was Naruto this strong?" Kurenai wondered.

Naruto just stood his ground letting Kiba across from him stand himself back up while holding a hand to his chest glares across to Naruto. In the meantime coming to his partner Akamaru who suddenly appeared behind Naruto to pounce but Naruto immediately countered appearing beside Akamaru delivering a chop to the back of the dog's neck making it yelp and fall unconscious to the floor.

"Akamaru!"

"I just knocked him out. Now it's just you and me."

"Nobody harms my friend like that and gets away with it especially you Naruto!"

"Then by all means come and make me regret it WEAKLING."

Kiba leaped toward Naruto engaging him in hand to hand combat with it looking like that Kiba was fighting equally to Naruto and as the two counter each other's punches and kicks Kiba wore a smile.

"So you're just all talk from what I can see Naruto!"

Kiba then threw one more strong punch and it was blocked by Naruto's arm with the two then leaping away from one another putting distance between the two.

"How did you like that, Naruto? Surprised that I was able to keep up with you?"

Naruto didn't say a word he just merely stood across from him growing a smile to Naruto beginning to chuckle causing Kiba to glare at him.

"What are you finding so amusing?"

"Kiba just give it up already…"

Kiba only growled at him as his response.

"You're telling me to give up why don't you give up?! All you have been doing so far for most of this match is evading all of attacks running away like a coward! Sure you got some hits on me but that was out of pure luck! The truth is you keep running away because you are nothing but a coward because you know you can't win."

Naruto suddenly laughed aloud as if he heard a good joke.

"Oh please lose to someone like you don't make me laugh. In fact if you don't want to become the laughing stock then perhaps you should take heed of my advice and simply just give up."

"You arrogant!"

"Am I striking your nerves, Kiba?"

"LISTEN HERE UZUMAKI I AM NOT GIVING UP TO SOME WEAKLING LIKE YOU THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN BE STRONGER THAN ME!"

Naruto once again chuckled.

"You seem upset that you have been surpassed by me."

"Surpassed by you don't make me laugh Naruto."

"You know what makes a good laugh, Kiba? A good laugh is me revealing to you right now that I have surpassed you since our days in Academy."

"Now you're just full of it."

"…Am I?"

Kiba suddenly threw a kunai toward Naruto's direction and as it closed in on Naruto this was the moment Kiba decided to move using the Body Flicker. Kiba vanished from his position as Naruto at the same time panned his head to his lower right evading the kunai flying past him and then suddenly appearing behind him was Kiba with a smirk. It looked as if Naruto never noticed or detected him but when Kiba struck with a kick from behind aimed for Naruto's head Naruto's left forearm suddenly came up blocking his kick without even looking. Kakashi found this surprising seeing how Naruto blocked it in fact it looked as if Naruto predicted it but how? Kiba leaped back and away from Naruto with a surprised look on his face as Naruto still stood there with his back to him still holding up his left forearm before slowly lowering it.

"How did he know?" Kiba asked aloud.

"How did Naruto know when using the Body Flicker you're supposed to be near undetectable?" Kurenai wondered.

Naruto was waiting for Kiba to strike again or most likely Kiba was still in his state of surprise.

"Are you just going to stand or attack me, Kiba?"

"H-How did you know?"

"Know what?"

"Don't play dumb with me Uzumaki how did you know that I was going to appear right behind you? I used the Body Flicker and it's supposed to render me near undetectable so how did you know?!"

"You really want to know?"

"Yes now tell me how you did it."

"Ok then I will tell you since you sound so desperate."

Naruto turned around facing him with that smile still on his face.

"As you know the Body Flicker allows one the ability to teleport with extreme like speeds rendering the user undetectable. While that is true upon being undetectable when using this jutsu there is a weakness I can exploit as well as many other veteran ninja about the world. You see I was able to know ahead of time upon your reentry."

"My reentry?"

"You see Kiba as part of my training I train my senses and the sense to feel is one of them."

"Feel how can you feel me?"

"It's simple I just basically felt the vibrations upon your reentry therefore giving me moments ahead of time to counter. Upon reentry from the use of the Body Flicker air pushed away and that is how I was able to detect you." Naruto revealed.

"What I didn't think something like that was possible!"

"Oh it's possible you just have to have to train yourself at it is all but you should take into account that you just reentered just too close to me."

"Kakashi sensei is that true?" Sakura asked.

"Yes it is true even I can do it but what surprises me is that Naruto already knows how to use this counter method."

"Why is that?"

"To someone of his age it's a sign of a genius."

"Do you want to try again Kiba just in case you don't believe me?" Naruto asked.

"He has to be bluffing."

There was a silence between there stare and Kiba created the hand seal for the Body Flicker vanishing from Naruto's sight within a puff of smoke. That is when Naruto suddenly turned around reaching his left hand forward just as Kiba appeared holding back his right arm from attacking with his right fist and Naruto in his face stunning Kiba. Kiba was once again shocked as Naruto formed a smile to slowly uncurling his fingers from Kiba's arm letting him leap back and away from Naruto once again standing across from him.

"Are you convinced, Kiba?"

"Shut up."

"Surrender now and you won't have to suffer lose."

Kiba ignored him.

"You may be able to counter the Body Flicker but if there is one thing you are not it is being faster than me."

"Is that so?"

"It's fact!"

"Well then either put up or shut up."

Kiba then went into a stance that was low that Naruto never recalled seeing Kiba used but Kurenai did.

"Hey what is with that stance of his, Kurenai?" Asuma asked.

"That is a stance Kiba takes when he is about to put his speed behind his punches being quick and precise. It's actually something common used within Kiba's clan. It's almost as if they attack like wild animals but they can be devastating when pouncing on their opponent. I honestly don't see Naruto getting past this situation but it was a good run for him."

"I don't think you will be ready for this." Kiba announced.

"If you say so…"

"NOW HERE I COME!"

Kiba leaped toward Naruto and delivers slashes from his sharp nails upon Naruto who noticed the increase in the speed behind his strikes but he was evading them as he backed away forced on the defensive.

"Yes I have him on the ropes all he can do is dodge me!"

"I can't believe that I have become this strong already and in such a short amount of time. After the fight with Orochimaru I really do feel much stronger and faster too! I mean Kiba doesn't feel like a challenge to me…"

Observers just kept on watching looking like the fight was in Kiba's favor as it looked Naruto did not have a window of escape but then all of a sudden when Kiba slashes from his right Naruto's counter came up much faster. Naruto's parried back Kiba's right arm and then suddenly Kiba was lightly slapped across his face from his left cheek and it was by Naruto's right hand. The worst part was that Naruto was just standing in front of him as Kiba was frozen from the slap he received from Naruto who was giving Kiba a smug smile.

"Oops." Naruto taunted.

"He just slapped him!" Lee said in observation.

"Well that's embarrassing." Anko said amongst the Jonin watching from below with the Third.

Meanwhile Kiba was still frozen in surprise with a bead of sweat going down his brow. Naruto just evaded all of his strikes like they were nothing and his counter was a mere slap across his face. Naruto crossed his arms upon his chest and everyone was wondering why Naruto wasn't striking Kiba he was RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM.

"I don't get it why isn't Naruto attacking Kiba he's just standing there wide open?" Choji wondered.

Shikamaru continued to observe with Neji doing the same silently.

"This match was already over the moment it began." Neji thought.

"Earth to Kiba I am waiting here."

Naruto snapped Kiba out of it forcing him to leap back and away from Naruto once again. Kiba gave Naruto a glare as the Uzumaki continued to stare at him with that smile still present on his face.

"What's happening why can't Kiba hit Naruto? We have both seen Kiba attack like that and so far it's never failed him but why now?" Hinata asked.

"Kiba still has two last resorts he can use so it's not over yet. Kiba may be able to turn this around." Shino replied.

"I know about his clan's signature jutsu but what's the other?"

"You'll see in fact he may just use it right now. Naruto will be the first opponent he will use this jutsu against."

Naruto observed as Kiba made a hand seal that closed his eyes in concentration.

"What's he doing?" Naruto wondered aloud.

Suddenly Kiba's Chakra started to become visible around his form as he began to growl charging up the Charka inside of him. Kiba gave out one loud grunt as a pulse of Charka emerged from his feet. Naruto didn't seem to see a difference in Kiba he looked like himself but the only thing he did notice was that Kiba's feet would give off small pulses of Charka from around his feet.

"Now Naruto you lose."

"I do?"

"Yeah and your about to find out first hand LITERALLY!"

Kiba caught Naruto by surprise when Kiba pumped Chakra into the bottom of his feet leaping toward him through the air catching Naruto by surprise as the quickness and then Naruto felt Kiba's fist across his face with strong power behind his punches! Kiba then kept on the assault striking Naruto again and again be it in the chest or face forcing the Uzumaki to stagger back upon each strike.

"I told you that you couldn't beat me Naruto!"

Kiba reared back his right fist with Naruto noticing a long delay behind his punch and when it came forward Naruto vanished out of view reappearing behind Kiba as blood trailed down from the corner of his mouth.

"It seems that whatever jutsu Kiba used it increased his Chakra capacity and the power behind his punches but there was a delay behind his strikes. I wonder…?"

Naruto motioned Kiba forward and without a delay Kiba dashed forward but Naruto noticed that Kiba did not reach him as quickly as he did before as he began dodging Kiba's strikes before leaping away from Kiba.

"I see…he has suffered a great sacrifice in exchange for his power up."

"Just like I said you are doing nothing now but running away because you know you can't win."

"You really think so…"

"I know so!"

"I'm amazed how arrogant you're becoming right now."

"You're one to talk."

"Like I told you it's not arrogance its confidence and I can't help but be amused at your expense. You would laugh at mine in my early days of the academy always trying to bring me down in my progress, call me names, and even get me in trouble for your doings."

"It's going to be the same way for you. You know that dream of yours that you wish to accomplish becoming our villages Hokage well that's all it is going to be to you it's nothing but a dream. The reason is because I am going to be Hokage!"

"You Hokage don't make me bust a gut Kiba so if you plan on becoming Hokage then at least mature some more before then."

"If you plan on becoming Hokage then I suggest you get stronger because so far you haven't shown me any sign of being more powerful than me. I am about to show you what true power is!"

"Are you now well then come and show it to me."

Kiba dashed across the floor toward Naruto who didn't move from his position as Naruto brought up his guard blocking and evading all of Kiba's punches and kicks. However there was a moment where it looked like Naruto deliberately let his guard down letting Kiba punch across his face to his planting another in his stomach to lastly leaping up and kicking Naruto across the face sending Naruto sliding across the floor.

"Oh no!" Sakura said in worry.

Kakashi remained silent as he watched on. Kakashi was no fool and not the other Jonin present in the room. They ALL saw what Naruto just did. He intentionally let Kiba hit him and they all noticed how Naruto was watching Kiba's movements with a critical eye.

"Naruto just what are you up to?"

Naruto picked himself back up with the bangs of his hair shadowing his eyes.

"Did you feel that Naruto that is my true strength right there. I bet you're wondering what jutsu I used to make myself this strong aren't you?"

Naruto just remained silent facing away from Kiba with his head down and eyes still shadowed.

"Since you're going to lose I will tell you. It is a jutsu of mine that I developed on my own I call it Chakra Load. It not only increases my Chakra but it increases my strength too. So are you ready to just give up an-,"

Naruto suddenly laughed aloud making everyone in the room wondering why he was laughing. In fact it was kind of intimidating. The way Naruto has been behaving this entire fight with Kiba was kind of…scary. Especially the laugh Naruto was giving out and it almost sounded maniacal with a bit of laughter from Kiba's expense.

"Poor little Kiba…"

Naruto turned around facing Kiba with his eyes closed and smile upon his face.

"While I will admit Kiba that you have grown stronger in your own levels of Chakra and brute strength all from your own so called originally developed jutsu I am actually impressed."

There seemed to be a long pause before Naruto spoke again in a low and intimidating tone…

"And yet…"

Naruto opened his eyes across to Kiba.

"You still have no chance of winning…"

"WHAT?! I am getting sick of this bull shit you keep blowing out of your mouth Naruto and I am done with it!"

Kiba once again like before leaped from his position with Chakra assisting him in his leap closing in on Naruto throwing a punch but unlike before Naruto dodged shocking Kiba! Kiba was going right past Naruto who was to Kiba's right Naruto made a humming sound like he was saying nu uh uh. Naruto immediately countered delivering a single punch to Kiba's gut and then Naruto vanished reappearing in front of Kiba in midair performing a round house kick to Kiba's face. It was now Kiba sent tumbling along the floor as Naruto landed on one foot holding his left foot above the floor.

"What just happened there?" Tenten wondered aloud.

The more knowledgeable of occupants within the room most likely already figured it out with Neji, Lee, and Shikamaru being among them. Meanwhile back on the arena floor Kiba was in the process of once again picking himself back up from the dirt while Naruto gently lowered his foot upon the floor turning toward his opponent's direction.

"You okay over there, Kiba? I didn't hurt you too much did I?"

Kiba was holding his stomach as he stood himself back up to his feet.

"The power he put behind his punch right there? Did he amplify it with Chakra?"

"Oh no go ahead and take your time Kiba go ahead and have a breather. Just know that it's not going to help you against me."

Kiba snapping into another fit of anger leaped toward him with a Chakra boost only for Naruto to vanish with pure speed alone shocking Kiba as he hits nothing but air and Naruto reappear where Kiba previously stood. Kiba looked over his shoulder upon Naruto who was smiling at him.

"I'm over here…"

"W-What happened?" Kiba wondered aloud.

"It's over Kiba's finished." Shikamaru suddenly said aloud.

"What makes you say that, Shikamaru?" Choji asked.

"Watch and you'll see."

Kiba was right now once again striking upon Naruto and like before he was not getting in a single hit on Naruto. Naruto just evaded or blocked his strikes remaining on the defensive until Kiba delivered one last punch to which Naruto obviously evaded. However as Naruto's feet touched the floor he slides back along his feet until his form collides into a support beam now looking to be backed into a corner. Kiba smirked…

"I got you now."

Naruto just continued to smile until it got a little bigger and once again Kiba leaped forward through the air putting more Chakra behind his leap. It looked like Kiba traveled through the air faster than before so surely he would be able to hit Naruto right? Not really. Naruto simply countered grabbing his arm slamming him into the support beam standing face to face with Kiba and still Naruto wore that smile. Naruto was making Kiba look like a joke to him as Kiba was the one backed into the support beam and Naruto standing right in front of him.

"What's going on here he is much faster than he was before but how? I hit him before so why am I missing now?"

It was then Kiba was frightened making him jump a little when all of a sudden Naruto's right fist connected to the support beam just beside his face and his fists impact left a dent within it. Kiba did not even see that punch coming. Kiba did not see it but most of the veteran ninja being the Jonin, including the Hokage himself, and also Neji, Gaara, Lee, Shikamaru, and the disguised Orochimaru saw it for that brief quick second, and hell even Sakura saw it because her eyes were glued on Naruto. To everyone else they didn't because it was something that if you blinked even once you were going to miss it. Naruto had for that brief second with that punch went into Aura Spark but to everyone else who didn't notice it looked just like normal Naruto.

"What just happened?" Kiba wondered aloud as Naruto was still face to face with him.

Naruto removed his fist to leaping back and away from Kiba crossing his arms over his chest. In the meantime Gaara was excited from Naruto's performance and his power. This was another opponent like Sasuke that he can truly test his existence against. Kiba still had not moved in fact he was even starting to feel himself shaking as he stares across to Naruto in complete shock with a bead of sweat going down his brow.

"This is cruel of Naruto I would never thought of seeing this kind of behavior from him." Kakashi said.

"What do you mean?" Sakura asked.

"Naruto is toying with Kiba."

"Are you serious?!"

"Yes I can see it and so can the other Jonin and everyone else is starting to as well. As for his behavior against Kiba it's not hard to see that Naruto is simply getting payback for how Kiba treated Naruto back in the days of the academy. Kiba was a bully to him now at this moment Naruto is bullying Kiba. He is giving Kiba a taste of his own medicine. Perhaps after this Kiba will have a little more respect for Naruto."

"Actually you were not there Kakashi sensei but Kiba said some pretty awful things to Naruto the other day."

"What kind of awful things, Sakura?"

"Well Kiba called Naruto an orphan telling him that his parents abandoned him because they wanted nothing to do with him and some other things as well. However he managed to hurt Naruto so bad that Naruto even shed a tear."

"I'm going to have to talk to Kurenai about that."

Returning to the match below Naruto continued to stare across to Kiba in total silence with his smile still present.

"H-How is this happening?" Kiba wondered aloud again.

"So much for your Chakra Load Jutsu it doesn't seem to be running in your favor any more as short lived as it was."

"I'll get you I swear it."

"Then come get me."

Naruto suddenly vanished reappearing before Kiba making him lean back in surprise to quickly leaping away putting distance between him and Naruto once again.

"How did you get so fast?!"

"Ask yourself this question Kiba. When did you get so slow?"

"This is insane why can't I hit him like before what's changed?!"

Kiba then vanished from his position using his speed sure that he was going to reappear behind Naruto but instead of that he was behind no one. Kiba wondered where Naruto went as he looked to his left and right not even noticing that Naruto was standing right behind him. It was at the last second that Kiba sensed Naruto over his shoulder being shocked once more that Naruto was behind him. Once again Kiba puts distance between himself and Naruto.

"For someone who has been accusing me of running you sure do a lot of it Kiba."

"W-When did he get behind m-me?"

"Are you ready to give up yet?"

"Give up not a chance!"

"Well I will say this you have spirit and that's good but you know you can't win."

Kiba growled aloud and yelled before shooting through the air toward Naruto.

"SHUT UP!"

Once again Kiba was throwing strikes at Naruto who just stood his ground blocking or evading Kiba's strikes before flipping himself up and over through the air landing opposite of Kiba facing him. Kiba in the meantime was holding a balled fist in front of him and was shaking in anger.

"What's wrong with me? What is going on here? I am maxed to my limit right now and I can't hit him anymore? Why can't I hit him?!"

"You're too slow Kiba." Naruto said with a chuckle afterwards.

Kiba looked over his shoulder once again to Naruto and both Kiba and Naruto vanished from their positions with both of them reappearing in a different area upon the floor only Naruto was standing before Kiba. Kiba just glares before he vanishes reappearing next to a support beam only right when he did he heard a light tap of a pair of feet touching concrete. Kiba looks to his right seeing Naruto sticking to the side of the pillar looking at him with his arms still crossed upon his chest.

"Going somewhere, Kiba?"

Kiba was speechless because he was moving at his best right now and Naruto was able to keep up with him but really Naruto was much faster than even this. Kiba once again like before leaped away landing in a new position only for Naruto to intercept his path reappearing behind him exiting out of thin air leaving behind a sort of lens flare of himself. Kiba in the meantime was once again frozen knowing that Naruto was standing right behind him.

"T-This doesn't make any sense?"

"Amateur." Naruto said aloud suddenly as well as frowning.

Naruto simply walked past the frozen Kiba before turning around facing Kiba with an angry look on his face. Why was Naruto so upset right now besides from what Kiba said to him the other day?

"The answer Kiba is your Chakra Load."

"W-What?"

"True that it makes you stronger and increases your Chakra capacity and the Charka capacity is what is holding you back. You can tell when looking at the pulses of Chakra coming from your feet. You have so much Chakra to carry inside for your raw strength."

Then is when Naruto made the revelation to Kiba.

"But it's not going to get you anywhere if your opponent has any sort of SPEED."

"Of course so that's why Kiba couldn't hit Naruto! His Charka Load was slowing him down." Sakura said and learned.

"That's right Sakura." Kakashi confirmed.

"Since when was Naruto this smart?" Ino wondered aloud.

"Kiba this Chakra Load of yours is actually nothing new. I thought it looked familiar because I read about it." Naruto said.

"Huh?"

"I read about it and I recall that I was used before in the Second Great Ninja World War. At the time it was an experimental jutsu developed between the lands of Fire and Wind. Although the results were staggering to them back then they realized its great weakness in its loss of speed and after that no one used it. It's a really simple concept. You call yourself amazing and a genius. Well I ask you this genius. They figured it out…so why can't you?"

Kiba was looking at his own hands realizing that Naruto was right and he never saw this jutsu's weakness. It was no wonder most ninja didn't use it then and don't use it now. Kiba looked back across to Naruto who still had a frown upon his face.

"Who knows Kiba this lose may be healthy for you."

"Lost I haven't lost yet I still have more in store for you!"

"Then get on with it because I am barely warming up here." Naruto revealed.

"…What did you just say?" Kiba asked stunned.

Naruto's smile grew bigger like before.

"You heard me…I…am barely…warming up."

This actually looked to have gotten to Kiba as he looked to have shaken for a bit not out of anger but perhaps fear. Those who continued to watch were also caught off guard by Naruto's new revelation.

"What does Naruto mean by barely warming up?" Ino asked her fellow Leaf Genin.

"It's just as I thought." Shikamaru suddenly said gaining eyes upon him as he continued to watch.

"What is?" Choji asked.

"This entire time throughout this entire match and it hasn't even been five minutes in. Kiba right now is giving it his all but Naruto…He is not even trying thus his declaration of him barely warming up."

Remember how Gaara was interested in Naruto before he was even more so as he was staring wide eyed upon Naruto looking to be on the verge of leaping down there to try and take Naruto's life. In fact it was putting his older brother and sister on edge as they can see it within Gaara's eye as sweat protrude from their heads. Returning to the fight below Kiba had no choice but to take away the effects of the Chakra Load and the difference can be noticed as Kiba took in a deep breath before letting lose the air, and those small pulses of Chakra from his feet can no longer be seen.

"Come on Kiba you have to think of something there is no way you can lose to Naruto of all people. I haven't used the Man Beast Mimicry but Akamaru is still out cold and Naruto already knows of the Fang over Fang. I have one last strategy left and it just might win me this match." Kiba thought.

Naruto noticed how Kiba suddenly smirked.

"It looks like Kiba has got something in mind." Naruto thought.

"Prepared to be surprised…"

Indeed Naruto was when he saw Kiba make the all too familiar cross seal with both his hands.

"SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!"

Naruto was caught off guard by this seeing ten more Kiba's appearing all around him having Naruto surrounded.

"You know the Shadow Clone jutsu, Kiba?"

"I do." Kiba said now having beads of sweat going down his face.

"Where did you learn it?"

"Oh let's just say I saw you using this jutsu on one point back in Wave."

"So you basically memorized the hand seals and went from there. You do know the risks of using the Shadow Clone jutsu don't you? Look at yourself you have already drained a substantial amount of Chakra. You already look like an overflowing water facet."

"Even so Naruto I am sure you are going to have trouble fighting ten more of me."

"I'm surprised you managed to create ten. You do know the disadvantages of this jutsu besides taking a substantial amount of Chakra don't you? In case you are wondering there is an effective counter. I hope you know this but you do know that…just one strike is all that is needed right?"

Kiba's eyes slightly widen.

"You didn't do any research upon it did you? You just jumped right in buying something you know nothing about. Well did you know that whatever injury the clones receive that the caster experiences the effects?"

Kiba was once again silent.

"Let me put an example for you. If I broke one of your Shadow Clone's arms upon it dispelling you will feel the after effects of that pain."

"Ok I'll admit I didn't know about any of that but I never planned having my clones jump you all at once. Well maybe not in the way you are thinking but close to it."

"What do you mean?"

Everyone noticed how all of Kiba's Shadow Clones except the real took up the familiar pose of a certain signature jutsu of Kiba's clan. Naruto realized it but it looked to be too late as all of the surrounding clones suddenly performed the Fang over Fang closing in from him from all surrounding angles as Kiba called out the attack.

"Fang over Fang X10!"

Before they all hit their target Naruto only narrowed his eyes and the next second a loud recuse echoes with a cloud of dirt taking up the area surrounding Naruto as small pieces of tile scattered. What felt odd to Kiba is that upon the same point of impact Kiba felt his head hurt almost as if someone had hit him atop the head multiple times. Ten to be exact if he counted and thought he recalled seeing nothing but smoke and the quick flash of the color blue? Kiba stood there with a smirk…

"Looks like I won after all!" Kiba announced aloud.

"It looks like Kiba did pull through." Kurenai said.

"It looks so." Asuma said.

"Oh no Kakashi sensei is Naruto alright?" Sakura asked worried.

Kakashi remained silent watching. In fact the room was in total silence as the cloud of dirt was parting away bit by bit.

"Hey proctor you can call the match now I pretty much won."

Kiba turned intending to walk away until Naruto's voice was heard from within the cloud of smoke causing him to freeze on the spot.

"Are we through playing games, Kiba?"

Kiba shoots himself around staring in complete shock at the cloud of dirt that began to bit by bit reveal Naruto who was still standing in the same position only he had his Z Staff within hand. The worst part for Kiba as well as shocking Naruto's fellow Genin graduates was that he didn't have a scratch on him. Hells not even a sign of tear within his clothing. The only thing showing signs of damage was the floor around Naruto showing spider webs cracks of where each of Kiba's clones impacted.

"No way that's impossible!"

"But Kiba's clones were so close when they attacked so how could Naruto have got out of that without a scratch?" Ino wondered aloud amongst the group.

Kurenai was honestly stunned now by Naruto's strength as well as Asuma. It looks like Kakashi was not exaggerating Naruto's continued growth in strength. As of this moment Kiba was now officially out of the game as he stood there in awe.

"That was all I had left…Nothing worked and I am out of Chakra!"

"Did you enjoy those bonks to the head, Kiba?"

"W-What?"

Naruto simply parted up one end of his staff with both ends of his staff being colored blue.

"Bonks to the head what is Naruto talking about? Kakashi sensei how did Naruto escape that?" Sakura asked.

"It was Naruto's speed. Naruto is simply faster than Kiba's clones and Kiba himself. Each clone must have attempted a strike upon him upon missing before they were all dispelled by Naruto's staff. What Naruto didn't mention to Kiba is that the caster of the Shadow Clone jutsu can experience the memories of his clones. Naruto dispelled each clone with a waak to their heads with nothing but his staff."

Naruto retracted the ends of his staff before putting it away looking across to the silent Kiba.

"The exams end here for you Kiba."

"No…!"

"This is my final offer to you. Give up?"

"No I won't give up to you. I won't lose to you!"

"Then it looks I will have to EDUCATE you further." Naruto said aloud.

Kiba was suddenly punched across the face by Naruto who suddenly appeared before him and his punch drew blood from Kiba's mouth before he was sent sprawling across the concrete.

"I'm not even going to bother asking for your surrender anymore."

Naruto merely walked his way toward the downed Kiba who was in the process of picking himself up having blood leaking from the corners of his mouth. Kiba simply stood his ground with his vision becoming blurry until Naruto came to a stop in front of him not even bothering to bring up his guard. Kiba just glares and attempts the first strike but Naruto counters delivering his left fist into Kiba's stomach knocking the breath out of him before punching his right fist into Kiba's back sending Kiba front first into the ground before him.

"You are clearly unable to continue Kiba. I win you lose. Now before you fall into unconsciousness after this you better respect me more as a ninja after this."

Naruto began walking away.

"NOW this match is over."

As Naruto began walking away Hayate can clearly see that Kiba was down for the count.

"Kiba Inuzuka is unable to continue battle the winner is Naruto Uzumaki!" Hayate announced.

"Way to go Naruto!" Sakura said aloud to him.

Both Sasuke and Sakura met Naruto at the top of the steps.

"Naruto you were incredible, if not a little scary, but you did it. You and Sasuke are going to the Finals!"

"Good because Naruto you're the one I want to fight the most." Sasuke said with a smile.

"I can say the same thing about you Sasuke." Naruto replied with a smile of his own.

"The three of you have done a great job. After this how about I take us out on a celebration it'll be my treat." Kakashi offered.

"Really?" Naruto asked with a smile.

"Of course."

"Your wallet is going to regret it Kakashi." Sasuke said.

"Why do you say that?"

The preliminaries continued and the next match was between Hinata and Neji. Watching this fight between the two really pissed Naruto off in how Neji was treating his own cousin. In fact when Hinata was on her last legs refusing to give up Neji went in for the final blow but he was stopped by Kurenai, Asuma, Guy, and Kakashi. Seeing how Neji treated her Naruto made a declaration that he would defeat Neji for her. Now the next one was exciting to Naruto as Lee displayed his full speed as well as using the Eight Gates but in the end Lee still lost to Gaara. Konai was right about Gaara it was best that Naruto watches out for him. Finally was the last match and it ended rather quickly with Dosu coming out the victor.

The ones that would proceed to the finals in one months' time giving these finalists opportunities to train but in the meantime they all picked a number to know who would be matched against whom. Naruto was satisfied with his opponent as the two eyed one another from the corners of their eyes knowing they could not underestimate one another.

Gaara VS Uchiha Sasuke

Kankuro VS Aburame Shino

Temari VS Nara Shikamaru

For Dosu he would be fighting either Temari or Shikamaru. Now the Second Phase had finally come to an end as everyone was making their way home with Naruto walking alongside his team and sensei. He had learned a lot of things throughout his experience as a ninja so far. One of them especially was that he was going to have to one day take a life.

"I swore to protect the village even if I have to commit a deed such a murder. Next time I will make the necessary decision. I will have too not just for mine and my village's sake but for my friends too."

The Advent91: Thus concludes the end of the fifth saga of the story! Hope you enjoyed it because I did as I was typing it. The next one will be short but will be called Training Month Saga. No he will not be learning Kiaoken. None the less look forward to it as Naruto will be learning of his Affinities to Wind and Water which has me excited because I already have some cool ways he can use especially wind during his hand to hand combat.
