Yes I am lazy and cant stick to a plan to save my life. So I'll be back on doing a one shot every week and will post Discussions whenever I actually get myself motivated to do one.
Drabble word: Sound
Komatsu had once asked Zebra how he saw the world with his hearing; the heavenly king had just laughed and told the chef to concentrate on his cooking before he got to cocky and burnt something. The question had become forgotten as Komastu had done just that and almost burnt down the clearing the duo had been staying in.
One night of boredom, Zebra found himself wondering how he should answer Komatsu's question. No one had ever bothered to ask such a thing and well... maybe the few dozen beers he drank helped him actually consider the question as being worthy of his time.
The easiest thing would be to describe the Heavenly Kings to Komatsu, seeing as the chef knew them all so well; perhaps even more then the kings realized.
Coco's sound was a mix of pure crystal and earthen shades. The song that came back from the poisoneous man was sad, lonely and yet pure of any bitterness. In battle, Coco sounded like an earthquake roaring through the air and crushing it foes in its grasp.
Sunny's sound was light and barely heard. Zebra found him to be the most frustrating of the childhood friends because he was so darn light and soundless even though his mere presence screamed 'I am here!' he had barely any sound for Zebra. Even when Fighting, Zebra ended up having to rely on his eyes rather then his ears when it came to the Self proclaimed Beautiful Man. As soundless as the wind itself, Sunny was there but not really.
Toriko was loud and brash and and idiot and that reflected in his sound. It was always there, like the ringing of the sun and fire, it left a mark that stayed for a long time in its path. Toriko's sound was fast, hard and flared on and off at random. Being around the boisterous man often resulted in fights with everyone. His sound didnt change regardless of his actions but it had; on occasions; become cold and tinged with the sound of rain when he became furious.
Komatsu's sound was a mystery. It was never the same and always changing. When Komatsu was around Coco, it became earthy and slow. When he turned his attention to Sunny, the Chef's sounds became softer and more like a series of bells ringing in the wind. Around Toriko, his Sound became louder and sometime it over powered everyone elses. Not that Zebra would ever admit it but Komatsu when he was alone had a sound that scared him. It was dark, constant and a never ending whine that was just there enough to set his teeth on edge.
As he finished his last beer, Zebra smirked in amusement. Now he had a good answer for the brat when he asked again.
