Land of Candy Arc Part 13: (More Filler) Resting period Part 3! The villages militarizes!

10:30 am Suburbs of The Hidden Fudge Village...33 hours and 30 minutes into the invasion.

Eddy sat up as he stretched his body. "That was a nice power nap!" Eddy jumped off the navy blue bed. The whole room was blue and had numerous trophies . "Boy, whoever's room this is, they sure are successful." Eddy noted while looking at his peculiar reflection in the trophy. "I wonder where Ed is?" Eddy left the room and was now in the corridor. He dashed down the corridor and noticed a door was open. He peeked into the room and saw Ed reading a comic.

"Ed! Are you reading another comic!" Eddy looked at the yellow-skinned genin.

"There's the whole collection Splatterman vs The Dark Ether including the most recent edition!" Ed giggled in excitement. In front of them was a huge brown mahogany bookcase filled with comics and manga volumes.

"Seriously Ed…" Eddy sighed.

"You should try to read one." Ed suggested. Eddy took a book from the shelf.

"NARUTO…" Eddy read the the title of the book. "Lame…" Eddy chucked the book behind him. "Come on Ed! Let's do something!" An idea sprang into Eddy's idea. "Let's prank someone...then the Hidden Fudge will come to know of Eddy...the King of Pranks!" Eddy was now standing on a table for some reason while his fist was raised into the sky.

"Oh yeah, like when Splatterman tricked Rainbow boy into destroying Planet Nosawka." Ed referred to his comic.

"Shut up Ed and come with me…" Eddy grabbed Ed and dragged him out of the room and continued down a narrow set of stairs and eventually arrived at the utility room. They could see Edd who was wearing a shower gown. He was unloading his damp clothes from the washing machine and started to load them into the dryer.

"Okay Ed, Sockhead will become first victim." Eddy whispered the plan into Ed's ears who nodded his head comically in agreement. "Got it?...Let's do it!" Eddy gave Ed his golden kunai before Ed entered the room.

"Oh, hello Ed." Edd smiled at Ed who was giggling like girl. "What's so humourous?"

"REPLACEMENT JUTSU!" Eddy appeared out of nowhere and kicked Edd into the dryer itself. Ed slammed the door shut.

"Edward...let me out of here this instant!" Edd demanded as Eddy turned the dial of the dryer. The drum started to revolve and now Edd started to bang on the glass window.

"Nice!" Eddy high fived Ed. "Maybe we should prank the rest of them." Edd started rubbing his hands maniacally rubbing his hands. His face now displayed a evil, cunning and sly grin. Ed and Eddy left the room while Edd's cries for help were drowned out by the tumble dryer.

"I feel refreshed already!" Kalaku as he left the male changing rooms with Platina.

"There's nothing but a good swim to help you relax." Platina added.

"I'm going to get a snack. Where is the kitchen?" Kalaku enquired.

"The last door on the left." Platina used her arm to point down the correct corridor. Kalaku left leaving Platina there by herself. She bent down to tie her laces.

"Are you sure about this Eddy." Ed spoke quite loudly.

"Shhh lumpy...you'll blow our cover!" Eddy whispered. They were standing just above Platina on the first floor. Ed was holding a bowl of yoghurt and Eddy had superglue with him.

"But Sarah said that girls don't like getting their hair dirty…" Ed continued.

"That's an urban legend…" Eddy lied. "NOW DO IT ALREADY!" Ed dropped the whole bowl of yoghurt on Platina's head.

"MMPH!" Platina's body was covered in yoghurt, combined with the bowl she could not see.

Eddy quickly shoot superglue onto the floor in front of Platina while she removed the bowl. Eddy dashed down the stairs

"Whoever did that is going to...aggh!" Eddy kicked Platina in the back forcing her to land in the superglue. She tried to move but find she couldn't. "You're going to pay for this!" Eddy tiptoed away while Edd attempted to do the same but ended up stumbling into stuff.

Kalaku opened the kitchen door and saw Kamil laying on the floor holding his stomach. His face was as if someone had smothered chocolate on it. "Kamil what happened?" Kalaku was wondered.

"I ate…*hic*...too much…" Kamil moaned as Kalaku sighed.

"Should I get a doggy bag." Kalaku rubbed the back of his head, unsure what to do.

"Okay this one is genius!" Eddy was laughing in excitement. He was on the other side of the door.

"All set Eddy!" Ed saluted his short comrade.

"Good now quickly get away." Eddy shooed Ed away. Eddy wiped off his evil grin from his face and entered the kitchen. "Oh, sorry to disturb you guys. Kalaku I need your help reaching something. It's too high so I probably cannot get it.

"Fine…" Kalaku stood up before the pair left the kitchen. Eddy opened a door revealing an empty cupboard. "I can't see anyth…" Eddy kicked Kalaku in the back then quickly locked the door. "Eddy, LET ME OUT!" Kalaku demanded. A very weird smell entered his nose. What is that smell? He switched on the light in the cupboard and saw a sock that used to be white but was severely stained with mould and even a mushroom could be seen growing from it. "I think I'm gonna be…" Kalaku calmed his mouth shut to prevent vomit from leaving his mouth. The last thing he needed to be standing his vomit.

10:36 am The Hidden Fudge Village Hospital...33 hours and 24 minutes into the invasion.

Kin left through the doors of hospitals. He stretched his body getting himself pumped. "I better Platina took them to her house. Well I guess go there…"

"Hey, Tarakin." He turned around and saw Cassie besides Rosalina. "It is nice to see you better."

"Thanks...I feel better." Kin responded.

"Sorry I couldn't stay for long… I had to see Rosalina. She is also from the Hidden Roses." Cassie introduced her comrade.

"Nice to meet you Rosalina. My name is Tarakin, but you can call me Kin." Kin introduced himself.

"Where are the others?" Rosalina enquired.

"They're probably in Platina's house...I can take you there." Kin led the way.

10:58 am The Hidden Fudge Village Hospital...33 hours and 2 minutes into the invasion.

Rosalina and Cassie were full of shock as stared at the mansion. "I will never get use to how big this place is." Kin pressed the intercom. It took a while for their to be response until Charles greeted him with a "Hello…"

"Hi Charles, it is me, Tarakin." At these words the intercom buzzed and Kin opened the gate. He opened the door and saw Charles attempting to scrape Platina of the floor. "Platina! WHAT HAPPENED?!"

"Someone dropped yoghurt on me and superglued me to the floor." Platina explained. Abruptly an explosion happened down the corridor causing Kin to head down the corridor. Smoke poured out from a cupboard and Kalaku stumbled out coughing.

"Sorry 'bout that. Eddy locked me in there and I had no choice but to blow down the door." Kalaku justified.

"Then, it must have been Eddy who stuck Platina to the floor." Cassie concluded.

"He also locked me in the dryer…" Edd joined the group. His skin was red from the overwhelming heat.

"Well I suggest we get revenge!" Platina was now liberated from here sticky prison.

"Revenge is a dish best served cold." Kalaku smiled.

Eddy was sitting on lounge chairs drinking delicious drinks. Eddy had shades on and they were sitting close to the pond the mansion had.

Suddenly three silhouettes blocked his sunlights. Eddy lifted his shades up and saw three vexed genins. "Oh, hey guys." Eddy spoke nervously. "Fancy seeing you guys here…"

"NINJA ART: STRAWBERRY LACES TRAP!" Strawberry laces wrapped around Eddy limiting his movements. Kalaku quickly placed explosive tags on Eddy. They exploded sending into the sky.

"WATER STYLE: WATER DRAGON JUTSU!" A water dragon rose from the pond and consumed Eddy before descending into the pond. He rose to the surface and spat the dirty water out from his mouth.

"Okay...I have learnt my lesson…"

"No you haven't...Cassie!" Platina instructed as Cassie froze the pond causing Eddy to become struck. "Now you have!" The three walked away.

"Guys...GUYS!" Eddy pleaded.

12 pm The Hidden Lemon Village...32 hours into the invasion.

The streets were packed full of Lemon shinobis waiting for something. Team Kazuma were there with Kazuma now conscious. The numerous shinobis were having discussions among each other.

"Everyone settle down." Untimi instructed as he spoke into the microphone resulting in the Lemon shinobis to quiet down. "Now in a few moments we will be heading to the Village Hidden by Jawbreakers to fully assemble the invasion forces there. I know what some of you are thinking...why are trying to invade the Hidden Fudge. The reason is they killed the Remonkage ad are threatening to use their 'ultimate weapon' and their tailed beast to destroy this village and any other village that opposes them. If this happens thousands of people will be killed. The Remonkage has already fallen victim to the corrupt ways Hidden Fudge. We must show them the path of light...the path of truth...the path...of justice. To prevent any more deaths...I ask you to lead me your strengths...not as your leader but as your brother." Untimi voice was full of emotion. "Not let's go!" Untimi shouted as the shinobis started mobilising and leaving the village.

"I can't believe we are doing this...can you." Thandi spoke to her teammates.

"No...I am kind of scared." Hiroshima said quite nervously.

"Don't worry I know we can do it." Kazuma faced forward. He was facing forwards. Determined.

7 pm The Hidden Fudge Village...25 hours into the invasion.

The sun was now setting in the village causing the whole sky to be orange and purple. Eddy was still chipping ice from his arm using a kunai knife. His arm was completely frozen. Everyone was outside in the garden including Ed who was still reading his comic. "That's a beautiful sunset." Kin noticed as the genin admired the sun setting. Eventually the sun vanished leaving the sky bluish black and flooded with twinkling stars.

The genins made a fire in the garden and all sat around it each with a stick in their hands with a marshmallows. They were talking among each other. "So I imagine this is the first war you guys have been involved in right?" Rosalina assumed. They nodded verifying her statement.

"My dad said they can be frightening...however according to him my brother was never nervous and was so cocky. I mean he did stop the Hidden Rice invasion on the Hidden Peach with two other Jounin." Eddy was almost bragging about him.

"No way you brother is the Legendary Lightning Bolt of the Hidden Peach!" Platina was in shock.

"Yep he is legendary." Eddy pointed his thumb into his chest with a smug face.

"But Eddy. how did you personally feel about what is going to happen tomorrow?" Kin enquired

"Me...It's gonna be a piece of cake." Eddy spoke but no one was buying it.

"To tell you the truth I'm scared...mainly of losing someone close to me!" Platina said honestly.

"That is the problem with wars and battles. One person's loss is another person's victory." Edd put it simply.

"Don't worry guys. I know we can win this!" Kin said confidently.

"FOR GRAVY!" Ed shouted before stuffing his face with marshmallows lighting up the mood

8:11 am Suburbs of The Hidden Fudge Village...11 hours and 49 minutes into the invasion.

The fire was now out and everyone was now sleeping in there sleeping bags. Someone poked Eddy in the face causing him to swat the air. His face was poked in the face again.

"5 more minutes mom…" Eddy said drowsily. His face was poked a third time causing him to wake up. He saw Lee Kanker who was towering above him.

"Hiya, handsome." Lee said seductively. Eddy screamed, most out of shock, waking everyone up.

"What's wrong Eddy?" Edd sat up and saw not only Lee but Marie and May there as well. This instantly alerted Ed, Edd and Eddy who sat up.

"You came for a rematch?" Eddy mocked who withdrew a kunai.

"Eds, stand down." Rosalina interferred. "They, along with the other Hidden Trailer shinobis, are going to help with our defense." At these words the Eds adopted a casual pose.

"But how did you know they were here?" Platina wondered.

"My eyes see everything." Lee explained.

"Shirostune is here as well...so is someone called Kiara." May added.

"Kiara-sensei?" Kamil asked.

"We should rendezvous with her." Rosalina suggested which was greeted by a nod from the other Hidden Rose shinobi.

"Thanks for the hospitality." Kalaku showed his appreciation towards Platina before leaving.

"Today is the day…"

"...of the invasion!" Eddy completed Kin's sentence.

A/N: Sorry for the drastic time skips but I do not see a reason to drag this filler part of the arc out longer that is necessary. So any it is going to get serious soon!
