With Naruto and Spike
Naruto and Spike were in shock.
"Wh-what is this?" Naruto asked as he saw the scorpion tail run right through him. Spike also had the same expression. They mustered enough of their strength to turn their heads to see two scorpions having stabbed them. "You..."
"You really shouldn't talk. It will only prolong your death." The scorpion said.
"How do you know...about me?" Naruto said as he coughed up blood.
"It's really simple. We can feel the Nine-Tails' power emanating off your body."
"You jerks. You won't get away with this." Spike said as he tried to rip off the tail impaling him.
"You dragons are all the same. You're on the verge of death," The second scorpion said as thrust his tail through Spike further making the dragon spit up blood. ,"but you're so stubborn to surrender and accept that your time is up."
"Even if you two managed to survive, the poison from our stingers will control your movements and prevent you from moving. Face it Jinchuriki and dragon, your lives are at our mercy." The second scorpion said. The two demons then remove the tails causing the two to fall to the ground with a loud thud.
With Kurama and Son Goku
Kurama was silent for a bit until he then chuckled.
"What's so amusing, Nine-Tails? Do not forget, if he dies, you die. So I suggest you allow us to take the stone and we might let your Jinchuriki and his friend live."
"I wouldn't underestimate Naruto and Spike if I were you." Kurama said.
"Huh?" Samael said in confusion.
With Naruto and Spike
"I was expecting a challenge. Looks like this Jinchuriki was a fail." The first scorpion said as he and the other demon start walking away to find the stone.
"We just have something to say." Naruto barely managed to let out before the demons walked away.
"You're going to die so I guess you can say your last words." Naruto and Spike then disappeared, revealing that they were shadow clones. "Shadow Clones!"
"You two are idiots!" Naruto and Spike shouted as they appear in the air, both holding a combined Ultra-Big Ball Rasengan.
With Kurama and Son Goku
"Those two are the most hyperactive Jinchuriki I know." Kurama said with a wide grin.
With Naruto and Spike
Naruto and Spike slam the giant sphere on the two scorpions. When the smoke cleared, Naruto and Spike were surprised to see that the scorpions absorbed most of the damage and only showed minor injury to their back.
"No way." Spike said. Naruto and Spike then jump back from the scorpions before their tails got them.
"I'm impressed that you tricked us. But we have our orders. Stay away from the stone." The first scorpion said.
"Why is that stone so important that you need to get your meaty little claws on it?" Naruto asked.
"Why should we tell you? You probably already know the answer." The second scorpion said.
"It doesn't matter. You'll pay what you did to all of those innocent ponies. By order of Princess Celestia, we are to bring you in or put you down. Looks like, it's the latter." Spike said as he grabbed a kunai from Naruto.
"Hehehe. So the little princess has gotten serious now. I never thought she would send in a dragon to do her own dirty work. Especially a little baby such as yourself."
"Don't insult the Princess. She trusts my ability to do this mission." Spike growled.
"Sure she does. Just like she has to send in a hairless ape as well." Spike was looking like he was going to strike so Naruto spoke up.
"Don't fall for their tricks Spike. What are your names?" Naruto asked.
"Why should it matter? You'll just die anyway."
"They say that those that battle should always remember the ones that killed them."
"Demons Aeron and Marduk. What are yours?" The first scorpion said to the two.
"Alright, we're the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki and pseudo-jinchuriki Naruto Uzumaki and Spike."
"Naruto and Spike. You two might be worthy opponents. It would have sucked if you would have died from our little sneak attack. Those guards from before were hardly a challenge." This caught Naruto's attention and made him angry.
"What did you do to them?" Naruto asked as he entered initial form.
"Nothing much. We left them alive but they could die in a little while. But enough about them. You two are on our radar." Marduk said with a sadistic grin. Naruto and Spike were shown emitting red chakra while Aeron and Marduk emitted the red-black chakra that Discord had before.
"You ready Spike?" Naruto asked.
"I am ready." Spike said. Spike made two Rasengan while Naruto had a clone make two as well.
"Earth Release: Mud Shot Barrage!" Aeron shouted as he and Marduk spit out solid balls of mud at Naruto, Spike, and their clones. The clones were dispelled quickly before they had a chance to strike but Naruto and Spike used this chance to strike.
"Twin Rasengan!" The duo shouted as they slammed their twin attacks into the demons before they could move. They sent them flying but their tails then sent beams of chakra. Naruto and Spike dodged the beams as they slice the ground. Aeron and Marduk then send more mud shots while they were distracted by the chakra beams. Naruto quickly moved but Spike was hit square on the side of the cheek by one of the mud shots. He could feel the pain right in his jaw as he went flying back from the force.
"Spike, you okay?" Naruto asked as he looked at the dazed dragon.
"Uggh, that mud bullet hit me right in the jaw. It's going to be sore for a while." Spike stated as he held his cheek.
"Grr." Naruto then turned back to the demons as they walked back to them.
"Earth Style: Earth Spike." Aeron said as spikes formed out of the ground. Naruto grabbed the dazed Spike and got him away from the spikes. Spike then groaned as he still held his sore cheek.
"Listen up Spike. This is only going to get a lot more dangerous. You need to pull through, okay?" Naruto told the young dragon. Spike nodded before he got up. Naruto switched to Nine-Tails Chakra Mode.
"Naruto, you're going to have to teach me how to do that." Spike said as he faced his enemies.
"Maybe another time. Right now, we have to take out these bugs." Naruto dashed quickly and got behind the demons with a chakra arm ready to strike. Naruto then sent the arm.
"Earth Style: Earth Slicing!" Aeron said as he blocked the arm's attack by coating his claw with earth. Naruto grinned as Spike came from over his shoulder with a Rasengan. "Don't you guys get it? Your attacks won't work." Aeron swung his tail but Spike ducked under the tail and landed a hit on the scorpion. He slid back a little but Naruto got his chance to strike.
"Planetary Rasengan." Naruto struck the scorpion with the four spheres but Aeron managed to absorb Naruto's attack into his whole body.
"Okay, my turn!" Naruto's eyes went wide as Aeron put his claw on Naruto and sent him flying with the same force as the Rasengan would.
"Naruto!" Spike shouted as Naruto went into the woods.
"Now, for you." Aeron said as he and Marduk walked towards Spike. Spike turned into Version 2 state.
"Fire Style: Grand Dragon Obliteration!" Spike shouted as he spit out the flaming serpentine dragon at the demons but they absorbed the fire. 'What are they?' They then return the fire back at Spike who then jumped above the flames and onto a tree branch. "Wait a minute, why am I avoiding fire? I'm suppose to be fire-proofed." He then watched the demons. 'Am I avoiding the flames because I'm afraid? No, I got to fight. Naruto, please hurry back.' Nearby, Naruto was on the ground bleeding.
With Kinkaku and Ginkaku
"So demon ladies, you have any names?" Ginkaku asked as he was still ready for any attack.
"My name is Hezabel and these are my sisters Maia, Marise, Charna, Semira, and Raven." Said the first scorpion.
"We're the infamous Gold and Silver Brothers, also known as the 'Two Lights of the Hidden Cloud' Kinkaku and Ginkaku." Kinkaku greeted.
"Alright Kinkaku and Ginkaku, let's get started."
"I'll take her and the two right by her. You take the three in the back. That way, we can split their numbers in half." Kinkaku ordered.
"Got it." Ginkaku said as he jumped over Hezabel and ran off into the woods.
"Charna, Semira, Raven, be good girls and go kill him." Maia ordered. The three scorpions bowed and chased Ginkaku. Ginkaku looked back and saw them closing in on him.
'Excellent, just follow the little bird.' Ginkaku thought. After they were out of sight, Hezabel turned to Kinkaku who was smirking.
"So, you split up, huh? Too bad that will only make you easier to kill." Hezabel said as she charged up chakra. "Earth Style: Terra Claw!" Hezabel shouted as she put her claw in the ground causing a giant claw of earth to pop out of the ground and attack Kinkaku. Kinkaku moved out of the way and charged Lightning Style just as the claw closed in on him.
"Lightning Style: Battery Circuit!" Kinkaku said as he channeled lightning around his body which nullified the earth claw. "You shouldn't gauge your opponent until you see all of their skills. And as this fight goes on, you'll see that I don't need my brother's help to defeat you."
"I see. We'll test that little theory. Maia, Marise, let's give Kinkaku here an early grave." Hezabel said to her sisters.
Meanwhile, Ginkaku is confused. The three scorpions were arguing about who should fight Ginkaku first.
"I say I get the first hit!" Semira shouted.
"No, I want to! You always get to go first!" Charna shouted.
"Girls, you're acting like children! I think...I should fight him first!" Raven said.
"Oh no you don't, you little sneak! You think that with your big chest you can run things!" Semira shouted.
"Don't talk about my chest, you perv! I'm the oldest of us three so I think I should go!"
"No, I should!"
"I should!"
"I should!" Charna shouted. They just kept going back and forth.
'These girls are the ones that destroyed the town? They're like children.' Ginkaku thought. "Um, while you girls are arguing, I think I should go." This stopped the girls from arguing.
"Huh? What was that?" The three scorpions said as they looked at Ginkaku.
"Sorry Ginkaku, but we can't you leave." Raven said.
"Yeah, we can't you leave." Charna said.
"So, you're done fighting, huh? I was done waiting for you girls to finish your little cat fight." Ginkaku said as he got ready.
"You have a smart tongue, huh? I think that will be the first thing we'll cut off when we slowly kill you." Raven said as she pointed her claw at Ginkaku.
"Good, now enough talking like your sister said earlier. Now is the time to fight." Ginkaku said as he clenched his fists in anger as he remembered all of the fallen villagers. "It takes a lot to make me angry. Tell me, do you know what it feels like to be scared? If not, I'll show you what it feels like..." Ginkaku then turned into initial form. His Native American-like hair grew more feral, nails grew larger, his teeth became more jagged, and his eyes became slitted. You could tell that he was pissed by what they did to all of the villagers. "...just like how you made all of the innocent stallions, mares, and fillies feel before you slaughtered them." Ginkaku then looked at the demons whose eyes went wide. Ginkaku then rushed at Raven and roundhouse kicked her in the face sending her far. Charna and Semira then clapped their claws together.
"Wind Style: Gale Palm!" They shouted as they sent slicing wind at Ginkaku. Ginkaku moved fast and avoided the wind. They saw that he disappeared. He then came from above and put all of his weight into an elbow drop on Semira's back making her shout in pain. This forced her on the ground. Charna tried to attack Ginkaku but he grabbed her throat without taking his eyes off of Semira. He then darted his slitted eyes to Charna.
"Lightning Style: Transfer Shock." Ginkaku whispered as he emitted a ton of lightning onto the point where he grabbed Charna.
"Ahhhhhh!" Charna shouted as she was being shocked all over. Ginkaku then threw her far. He then turned back to Semira. He clapped his hands together and brought them above his head.
"Yahhhhh!" Ginkaku shouted as he brought his fists down in a crushing blow to Semira's back. Semira was in a lot of pain. Ginkaku then turned into Version 2 state. He grabbed her tail and threw her towards her sisters. Ginkaku then formed a Tailed Beast Ball. "Tailed Beast Ball!" Ginkaku fired the Tailed Beast Ball at the demons and formed a dome-shaped explosion at least 30 feet wide. After it subsided, he could tell they were still alive by feeling their negative emotions. "Face it, you can't beat me. Accept the fact you never stood a chance against me and my friends." The demons then emitted the usual demonic chakra. The three demons rose from the ground and narrowed their eyes in fury.
"Fine. We didn't want to have to go crazy like last time. But you give us no other choice, Ginkaku."
"Yahhhhhh!" The three scorpions then shouted into the air, sending a lot of chakra into the air.
With Spike
"What's that?" Spike asked.
"Looks like Raven, Charna, and Semira are getting ready." Aeron said.
"Ready for what?"
"Hmph. Those girls may act like children but when they get ready to fight, they get scary. More than us actually. I actually pity the poor fool that's fighting them. He doesn't have a chance in Tartarus."
With Ginkaku
"What's going on? They're getting all riled up." Ginkaku asked. The girls finished screaming and looked at Ginkaku. Their eyes now screamed murder.
"Now die." Raven said as she quickly appeared in front of Ginkaku before he could move. "Wind Style: Blade of Wind." Raven channeled Wind chakra around her claw and sent the blade at Ginkaku but Ginkaku jumped above the wind blade.
"No time to wait and watch things." Ginkaku made a few handsigns as he was still in the air. "Fire Style: Fire Stream!" Ginkaku sent a stream of fire at Raven and engulfed her whole. Ginkaku then touched the ground. 'Did I get her?' Suddenly, the flames were absorbed. "Not even singed." They both punched each other's fist and were stuck at a stalemate. They were trying to knock the other person back but to no avail.
"What's the matter, Ginkaku? Where's that tough talk you had earlier?" Raven tauntingly asked Ginkaku as he struggled against her power. Ginkaku then slyly smiled.
"Nothing's wrong. In fact, I'm just getting warmed up." Ginkaku said as he poured more strength into his punch and knocked her back. Ginkaku then sent a chakra arm at Raven. Charna and Semira then cut off the chakra arm.
"Don't forget, you're fighting us as well." Semira said to the pseudo-jinchuriki. Ginkaku then chuckled.
"You girls are as cocky as Rainbow Dash and Applejack."
"We know." Charna said as all three demons opened their mouths. They each started making a Tailed Beast Ball much to the shock of Ginkaku.
'Not them too.' Ginkaku thought. The three demons then sent the Tailed Beast Balls at Ginkaku. Ginkaku wrapped the tails around himself.
With Spike
Spike was knocked into the creek.
"Ow." Spike said as he saw the scorpions walk towards him.
"I got to stop them." Spike said as he stood up.
"Spike, move!" Naruto shouted as he came rushing in with a Rasenshuriken.
'What is that technique? I've never seen it before!' Spike thought. Naruto threw the Rasenshuriken at the demons and exploded right by them. Naruto and Spike held on to resist the shockwave from the technique. As it spread, they see the shockwave absorbed by the demons into their palms.
"No way." Naruto said. After absorbing the Rasenshuriken, they then laugh.
"I'm surprised. I never knew such a powerful attack could be placed in the hands of a child." Aeron said as he emitted a little chuckle.
"Naruto, they absorbed your move. How can that be?" Spike asked.
'The only few times my Rasenshuriken was deflected was by one of Pain's Jutsu or by Madara. You shouldn't be able to take on my Rasenshuriken head on like that.' Naruto thought.
With Kurama and Son Goku
"Fire Style: Fire Stream!" Kurama shouted as he spewed a stream of fire at Samael but Samael opened up his palm and absorbed the blast. He then sent the same stream out but with more power. Kurama and Son Goku dodged the fire as it whizzed by them.
"He did it again!" Son Goku stated.
"No mistaking it. That's Dark Release!" Kurama stated. "He can absorb our attacks and send them back at us."
"That's right, Nine-Tails. None of your attacks can touch me. You're out of your league here." Son Goku then slammed his palms down.
"That's what you think. Lava Style: Flower Fruit Mountain!" Son Goku shouted, summoning a huge amount of lava underground and engulfing Samael. 'Damn, in my current form I'm barely using my full power. But, this should stall for a little while.' Son Goku then saw all of the lava being absorbed by the demon scorpion.
"Is that it, primate? I expected more from the so-called 'King of the Sage Apes'." Samael mocked.
"No, I'm just getting started, you little cockroach." Son Goku countered.
'What the hell is he? Even when we're not in our giant state, we can still pack a punch. We took care of teenage dragons with ease and they were big. So, how can this guy match our power. Is he a Biju?' Kurama then looked at Samael. 'No, that's not it. Besides, there were others that can rival our power.'
"Done thinking, Nine-Tails?" Samael asked.
"Son Goku, fight him physically. Don't use any more Jutsu." Kurama said. Son Goku nodded and rushed at Samael. Son Goku threw a punch at the scorpion only for Samael to block with a punch. Kurama came above and attempted to kick him. Samael knocked him away with his tail but Kurama recoiled quickly and kicked Samael in the jaw. With him dazed by the kick, Son Goku uppercut Samael and knocked him far. Kurama and Son Goku then rushed at him again and got ready to injure him again.
Dark Release-Manipulation! Using his chakra, Samael formed a powerful shield and blocked Kurama and Son Goku's punch.
"He formed a shield." Son Goku stated. Samael then had part of the shield extend out like needles but the Biju jumped back before they were cut.
"So, not only can he absorb chakra, but he can manipulate his chakra to form weapons. Not bad actually." Kurama said. Samael then stood up and looked at them.
"I don't have time to play around with you. I have to finish this now." Samael growled as he turned the shield into a spear-like weapon. Samael then grabbed the weapon.
With Kinkaku
Kinkaku was in initial form and started moving fast to avoid the demons' Earth Style. He jumped above Marise and attempted to drop kick her. She knocked him away with her tail but he recovered quickly and did a few backflips. After finishing the last one, he threw at least 5 kunais at her. Of course, she would deflect the kunais but after she did, she noticed that there were paper bombs attached to each one.
'Crap.' Marise thought as the bombs exploded right next to her. Kinkaku then turned to Maia and Hezabel.
"I know she's not dead." Suddenly, an explosion occurred and Ginkaku came flying back to Kinkaku. He was still in Version 2 state but he turned it off.
"Man, that stings." Ginkaku said as he rose to his feet.
"What happened with you?" Kinkaku asked as he stood back-to-back with his younger brother.
"Your divide-and-conquer plan had a few problems. They started going insane and ending firing Tailed Beast Balls."
"Tailed Beast Balls? Just like Discord, eh?" Ginkaku's opponents came back.
"Looks like you failed to kill him, girls." Hezabel said to her younger sisters.
"Hmmph. For a pseudo-jinchuriki, he sure is tough." Raven said with a smirk. Marise came out of the smoke caused by the paper bombs. Even though she was barely injured, she did had a couple of cuts caused by the bombs.
"Really? We did all of that and you still got hurt? That's weak." Ginkaku gloated.
"You know something, worm? I'm going to …cut…you… up." Marise said as she pointed her claw at Ginkaku who only smirked.
"What did I tell you about edging the enemy on like that?" Kinkaku scolded his younger brother.
"What? Its fun." Ginkaku said with a smug smile before telling him a bit of info. "Kinkaku, be careful. When I fought them earlier, they absorbed my fire."
"So they can do it too, huh?" Kurama asked his Jinchuriki.
"Do what Kurama?" Spike asked as he and Naruto were in Kurama's mental plane. Kinkaku and Ginkaku were also there.
"They're using Dark Style. It's a powerful yet rare kekkei genkai. By holding out the palm of their hand, they can absorb your power and then throw back at you. In fact, some were claimed to use it by using only their shadows. They can also mold their chakra into objects to fight with."
"It's just like Nagato's Rinnegan ability." Naruto said as he remembered his fight with the Six Paths of Pain.
"But earlier, we used Rasengan on them and they didn't absorb it." Spike stated.
"And, I shocked them with my Lightning Style a little while back. Never absorbed it." Ginkaku said.
"That's it!" Naruto shouted.
"Huh?" The rest of Team Foxes asked in confusion.
"I figured out their weakness. When you shocked them, they couldn't absorb it. They must have a weakness against Lightning Style."
"And the reason your Rasengan wasn't absorbed?" Kinkaku asked.
"They probably need time to absorb it. I say they need about at least 5 seconds to absorb each attack before they are damaged. Strike them quickly and don't let them have a chance." And with that, Kinkaku and Ginkaku thought of a plan.
"Let's go Ginkaku." Kinkaku said.
"Sure thing, Kinkaku." Ginkaku said as they switched to Version 2 form. Kinkaku and Ginkaku then swapped opponents.
"Time to kick some butt!" Kinkaku rushed at the demons and pulled back his arm. He then threw his arm and extended it to punch the scorpions. Raven noticed the arm and quickly dodged the attack.
"Wind Style: Beast Wave Strike." Raven said as she swiped her claw sending a wave of chakra at Kinkaku. Kinkaku breathed out a ton of fire and sent the wind back at her. Raven absorbed the wind-enhanced fire but Kinkaku took this chance to strike her with Lightning Style by channeling his arm with lightning and impaling her stomach.
"So, he was right. You can't absorb Lightning Style. Since you are scorpions, you are part of the earth. Face it, the moment you fought us, you were doomed." Kinkaku brought his hand out from Raven and Raven stepped back.
"Bastard." Raven growled as she clutched her stomach.
"Sister." Charna and Semira said as the saw her condition.
"We now know how to beat you. You may be quicker but I'm stronger." Kinkaku said as he channeled his lightning again. "Lightning Style: Lightning Piercer." The lightning turned into a rotating lightning cone on his arms. 'I based this move off the Third Raikage's Hell Stab. Its not perfect but it's enough to put them down.' Kinkaku then rushed at the demons. He then attempted to stab them but they move quickly. Kinkaku wasn't done yet so he had his tail attempt to swipe them away but they then burrowed underground. Kinkaku closed his eyes and sensed them right under him attempting to stab him with their tails. After getting out of the way, he punched Semira away and jumped at her. Before she could react, he pierced her with the lightning. Raven and Charna then tried to make a Tailed Beast Ball in anger. Unexpectedly, Kinkaku actually rushed at them and actually pushed the Tailed Beast Balls back into the demons' mouths, forcing them to backfire inside their mouths. The demons, injured by the backfire, fell to the ground. After they did, Kinkaku used his Lightning Piercer and stabbed each of them. The eldest sisters saw Kinkaku slaying down their sisters and grew angry.
"Grr. You'll pay!" Hezabel shouted as she tried to attack Kinkaku but Ginkaku blocked her path.
"Don't even try. You're outmatched and every way." Ginkaku smugly said.
"You two are quite arrogant. Guess that's why you two are hated in your own village." Ginkaku was silent for a little bit upon hearing her say that.
"That may be true but..." He then remembered Naruto. "...even criminals can change. And that's a fact." Kinkaku smiled as Ginkaku started charging lightning in his palms. 'Naruto, its thanks to you why we changed our ways. You showed us that deceit and betrayal are not the true ways of the Shinobi. Hang on, as soon as we finish up here...'
With Naruto and Spike
Naruto and Spike were bleeding a little from the head as well as Aeron and Marduk. Despite the injuries, Naruto and Spike were still smiling and were never going to give up.
'...we'll backup you up.'
You know, writer's block can really mess with your time and imagination. I'm anxious to return to school but I can't even think. I hope this chapter was good. Because, I really tried my best.
Next time, Naruto and Spike continue their battle with Aeron and Marduk. But can they win, can Kinkaku and Ginkaku finish their battle, and where the heck is Roshi?
