Disclaimer: Under pain of being beaten mercilessly with an ice mallet to the head, I have to admit that I do not own Rosario + Vampire, or any of the characters that are native to that wonderfully quirky and much loved universe. It's a shame, as I am sure that it in itself is worth a few bucks. I only own the ones that I created specifically for this fanfic, or the ones that I have imported into this from my own 'professional' writings. (Here's looking at you, Dia and co.)
Author's Note: Greetings! I wished to thank everyone again for your patience, and for all the numerous favorites and follows tagged to my story. As always, please feel free to review!
Rosario + Vampire: Concerto of Shadows
Chapter 35-Let Slip the Dogs of War!
Embattled fields near Castle Burnhart. Five hours before.
"Lord Rylan! I don't know how, but I know that Moka is now alive and well again within the castle! Somehow I heard her in my thoughts! We have to get to her, and quickly!"
The Raven Lord grunted loudly as he hurled a flaming missile toward the nearest Flesh Titan. It impacted upon the thing's chest, but minimal damage was visible. The creature rapidly closed in upon its attacker, and swung one of its car-sized fists smashing down toward the vampire. Lord Rylan yelped loudly while he rolled rapidly away. He barely avoided being smashed into a bloody pulp. As he rolled back up, twin fireballs emerged over his open palms. "I'm a little busy here, Tsukune! Until these behemoths are dealt with, we aren't getting any closer to William's castle!"
The Flesh Titan adjusted itself as it pulled its 'fist' from the ground, and attempted to backhand the vampire. Lord Rylan attempted to roll out of the way again, but was caught in mid roll by the creature's swing. With a grunt, the Raven Lord took the blow against his legs, and flipped end over end several times into the air. He crashed into the ground, aware of the fresh aches and pains from even that light of a hit. His head popped up, and his red eyes widened as the great monster rapidly closed upon him again, it's murderous intent on crushing him into paste.
"Lord Rylan!" Tsukune and Ruby screamed together, horrified.
Diademonica's head swung around, and her eyes lit up with dread at the scene. "Bossman! Get your ass out of there! Move it!" She shrilled.
Still slightly stunned from the blow, the Raven Lord was torn with the desires to close his eyes at the encroaching horror, or try one last act of defiance toward fate. It appeared that William and his mad schemes would work, and he would giggle madly as his plans plunged the Monster and Human worlds into a chaotic war that would leave no winners. Assuming there were any survivors.
Suddenly from behind them, there were several loud howls, barks, and yips that filled the air. Much to Lord Rylan and his surviving companions immense surprise, a dozen large furry creatures ran like blurs toward the prone Raven Lord. They sprung high over the downed Raven Lord, and landed upon the Flesh Titan's arms. Their savage teeth and claws tore into the necrotic flesh, and they quickly cleaved great hunks of it from the monster. With their great fury unleashed upon their target, the great monster stumbled backward several steps. Its large arms flailed as it tried to fight off the sudden onslaught.
Lord Rylan blinked as a large, black furry shape suddenly blocked his view of the first Flesh Titan's downfall. It growled loudly and snarled savagely toward the downed behemoth. "Well Rylan, it looks like we got here just in time to save your ass yet again, old friend!"
Lord Rylan's eyes and face lit up in relieved recognition. "Canis! You made it!" The old Raven Lord exclaimed with relief.
The great Wolf Raven Lord barked a savage laugh before he howled. "Of course, I made it!" He growled with amusement. "Do you think I would have missed this and let my oldest friend down?"
Lord Canis reached a large hairy paw down toward Lord Rylan, whom took it happily. The Wolf Raven Lord gruffly pulled his old friend up and onto his feet. The bipedal wolf's head cocked to the side. "You are suddenly a lot shorter, old friend!" He growled out with a large, toothy grin.
Lord Rylan humorously rolled his eyes. "I am glad to see you too, old friend!" He winced as he rubbed his legs were he took the blow earlier. He looked up at the grinning werewolf. "How many warriors from your twelve tribes had you convinced to follow you into battle?"
Lord Canis grinned triumphantly. "All of them!" He growled with amusement as he pointed behind them.
Lord Rylan spun quickly around, and his jaw dropped as he witnessed several hundred werewolves whom ran at full speed toward their embattled positions. His eyes widened with surprise as he finally noticed several of the werewolves' front battle ranks bore gray-cloaked warriors that bobbed up and down upon their backs. Since when did the werewolves carry additional warriors upon their backs? Lord Rylan thought absently.
When the approaching wolves closed the distance to Lord Rylan and Lord Canis' position to only about fifty feet, the grey-cloaked warriors rose up and leapt high from their werewolf mounts. The eight warriors in gray rolled with both speed and grace. They rapidly stood up, and they quickly closed ranks around the two Raven Lords in a loose circle. Their long, silver blades were drawn and held loosely. Their hooded heads turned back and forth as their hidden eyes scanned the area for threats. The lead warrior before Lord Rylan whooped loudly.
"Rocking! We made it with plenty of fight left, ladies and gentleman! Glad that we happened to be in the neighborhood!" The lead gray-cloaked warrior said with amusement.
Lord Rylan's eyebrows beetled in puzzlement. "Um, thank you, miss-?"
The gray-cloaked warrior laughed heartedly and smoothly pulled off her hood in one quick motion. A shock of spikey cyan hair appeared, along with her yellow, feline-like eyes. They bore traces of amusement as she gazed up at Lord Rylan. "Hey There! Pleased to meetcha, old man! I'm R, and these are my fellow associates from the Order of the Silver Blades. The Cardinal sends his regards to you and your Council, by the way! You're quite welcome for us coming and saving your ass!"
"R! Really! Were are your manners! That is no way to greet a member of the Raven Lord Council! Show some respect!"
"Ah, shove it were the sun doesn't shine, Princess! What's the big deal?" R laughed good-naturedly.
"Would you please stop calling me that, you horrid woman!" The warrior off of R's left side huffed loudly with annoyance. She removed her own hood, and her purple locks of hair now hung loosely upon her shoulders. She glared daggers at her compatriot. "I knew that brining you along for something this important was a mistake!"
"Oh, come on! Quit fighting you two!" A male voice lightly whined off to their left. "You know that we have more important things to do! The Cardinal said to be on your best behavior!"
R gave the still hooded warrior a playful grin. "Anything you say, T!" She purred seductively.
Lord Canis growled lightly. "Okay, save it! We have a battle to win!"
R laughed and waved her hand nonchalantly. "Of course, Lord Growls-a-lot! We're here to help save your asses from the pointy-fanged monster, after all!"
Lord Rylan's eyebrow rose slightly as he glanced at Lord Canis. "Lord Growls-a-lot?" He asked incredulously as his lips twitched with amusement.
Lord Canis growled and shrugged as he turned his head toward the battle. The first Flesh Titan was successfully downed and permanently destroyed. It had been savagely ripped apart by several dozen of Lord Canis' elite werewolf warriors. He pointed behind the castle, and growled menacingly. "Another of those abominations rises to challenge us yet again! This will go on for eternity, Rylan, so long as there are dead bodies to raise." He turned toward Lord Rylan. "We should keep them busy out here, while a small group sneaks into the castle." He gave a fang-filled grin. "Think Tsukune would like a chance to save his lady fair?"
Lord Rylan sighed quietly and nodded. "As usual, old friend, you have hit the nail on the head." He watched fascinated as several dozen wolves broke from the field and dashed toward the next Flesh Titan. They leaped upon the behemoth, and systematically began to tear it apart, just as they had its predecessor. "He can't do this alone, Canis. He will need the best help possible getting there, since you know William won't make it easy."
About that time, a couple of dozen dark, swirling whirlwinds materialized around the field of battle. Oni Sentinels appeared from within those dark twisted whirlwinds, and immediately commenced their attack upon the embattled warriors. Tooth, claw, and unbridled fury were unleashed upon the dark shades in the ultimate battle of wills form that would dominate the field of battle.
Lord Rylan's fists clenched. "Damn it! Of course those bastards are going to show! Just as your warriors are turning those damned Flesh Titans into gooey mush!" He quickly glanced around. "Tsukune! Get over here!" After a moment's hesitation, he exhaled loudly. "Diademonica! Haruna! Kurumu! Cyrus! Get your asses over here on the double!"
Tsukune ran quickly toward where Lord Rylan and Lord Canis patiently waited. Right behind him were: Dia, Haruna, and Kurumu. The flaming hellcat stayed close at Dia's heels. Lord Asaka shook his head. "These things are just going to keep coming until they finally wear us all down. William has to be stopped, now!" He glanced up at the assembled quartet. "We will cover you and help slip your small group into the castle. Find Moka, and kill William!" He glanced away for a moment before his gaze returned. "His madness must end here, now and forever! By all rights, Tsukune, this task has now fallen squarely upon your shoulders."
Despite Tsukune's new appearance and wonderful powers at his command, he gulped with fresh nervousness. "Why me, Lord Rylan? Why do I have to do it? What is so special about me?"
Lord Rylan gave Tsukune a strained smile. "Because you are now Lord Cain's Scion, Tsukune. Not me. He chose you to carry on his legacy, and discharge his will and duties for the Council. Only Lord Cain, or his chosen Scion, must fulfill Lord William's decreed punishment."
Tsukune gulped lightly. "Which, is?"
Lord Rylan gave him a brittle smile. "William's death."

Throne room. Four and a half hours before.
"Vampire, the battle has been enjoined by those packs of wolves. It is only a matter of time before they breach our defenses and storm through your gates." Lord Gallu's phlegmy voice called out. His rotted head cocked to the side, the sinew and bones popped and stretched grotesquely. "Perhaps you should withdraw with me to the Sanguine Necropolis? You will be safe there from harm. You have my word."
The former Raven Lord paced before his throne, warring emotions coursed over his face. He was delighted to find that Rylan's pathetic little band was almost obliterated by those behemoth Flesh Titans! Only now those damned wolves and human Silver Blades showed up for the battle, too! Everything he had meticulously planned over the last couple of decades and precisely laid out was now in severe jeopardy of being swept off the playing board! This would not do for a Dark God! It was he whom had been tasked to bring mankind under his armored heel. Lord Abel himself had prophesied that it was his task alone to sow discord and destruction upon the two worlds!
"He speaks the unfortunate truth, master." Reaper breathed out harshly. His hooded 'head' cocked to the side. "I had warned you long ago that this would happen if you didn't follow the plans given to you exactly by our master. Lord Abel will be most displeased at your carelessness and blunders. Your punishment for failure will not be pleasant."
Lord William's body jerked to a halt, and his head turned toward the Abelite Commander. His red eyes flashed with his crazed anger. "I have not failed! It is HE whom has failed me! He promised me the best warriors in this world and in the next! Has he delivered on that promise? NO! If you truly were the warriors that he promised me long ago, you would have already pushed Rylan and his pathetic groups into the pits of hell were they belong! You have failed me, Reaper! Lord Abel broke his promise to me! I owe you NOTHING! Do you hear me! NOTHING!" The vampire roared, spittle flew with his agitation.
The throne room's massive doors thundered open, and the Oni Emissary floated quickly into the room. The red eyes within its hood blazed with both unbridled fury and deepest loathing and disgust for the vampire. "You miserable, pathetic little worm! You have learned nothing from your last encounter with me, vampire! Lord Abel had graced you of all creatures in the monster world with his blessing! Yet, you have spit it back into our Lord's face! You will stay the course, vampire, or I will rip your soul from its flimsy fleshy moorings! It would then be cast into the flames of perdition for eternity, and I will laugh at your never-ending torment!"
Lord William's red eyes blazed with his pride and cold fury. Just as he opened his mouth, Reaper quickly floated over and hovered between Lord William and the Oni Emissary. Reaper bowed its 'head' in respect. "Lord Emissary, he has indeed failed and allowed his pride and arrogance to put the plan in jeopardy, that much is certain." Its hooded 'head' rose slightly. "Wouldn't it be better to just see how this plays out? Perhaps this will still turn out as Lord Abel desired."
The Oni Emissary hovered motionless for a few moments. The red eyes within the hood flashed. "Very well, Reaper. You know what Lord Abel desires. If he is not the one to carry it out, then we must find another."
Reaper nodded. "Understood. The contingency plan is already set into motion, and it will be put into play if the plan falls apart." He glanced over at the furious vampire. "If it fails, it will not be our fault."

Entrance to Castle Burnhart. Four hours before.
Tsukune and his small group heaved a great sigh of relief. Thanks to the assistance of Lord Canis and his small cadre of chosen wolf berserkers, they managed to slip inside Lord William's castle without too much trouble. It still amazed Tsukune the power and finesse that was under the werewolves' command. It just felt awesome to him as he witnessed two of the undead warriors decapitated in the same slashing attack by Lord Canis. Only a small handful of the undead had blocked their way toward the castle, and Lord Canis and his warriors broke off to finish them. The wolf Raven Lord gently shoved Tsukune and his group into the gates.
"Get yourself into the castle, Tsukune! I have faith that you can finish this. You have my respect and friendship, Tsukune. Don't let us down! We are counting on you!"
Tsukune sighed loudly and looked up. Diademonica, Haruna, and Kurumu watched him intently as they patiently waited for his next move. Cyrus stood a few feet before them in the hallway, his eyes ever vigilant for danger. Tsukune shook his head. He didn't want to lead them, he just wanted to go back to Yokai and hide under his bed. This was so much out of his league!
Tsukune rubbed his face. He found he couldn't do that though, as they all looked to him for guidance to get his beloved Moka back. Doubt still formed itself into lead within his gut. Was it possible that he could succeed? Was he really this powerful Scion for Lord Cain that Lord Rylan had claimed him to be? He was just Tsukune Aono, student at Yokai Academy!
You must believe in yourself, boy! Tsukune heard in his mind. You have desired to have enough power to help and protect those that were closest to you, remember? You have been given the two most powerful gifts that I can bestow upon those I find favor. Use the Dark Gift I bequeathed to you and that stubborn resilience of yours to get the mission completed! You are now my Scion, Tsukune Aono. Have faith in your powers and abilities. The rest is up to you!
"Blessed be Lord Cain." Tsukune found himself murmuring quietly and with reverence. He felt his cheeks warm as he flushed slightly under his companions' stares.Tsukune shook his head sheepishly. "Sorry." He mumbled quietly. "It's nothing."
Diademonica shrugged lightly while she folded her wings closed and tucked them in behind her. "Well, lad, where do we go now? Your revived vampire damsel in distress is somewhere within this ancient hellhole, right? So where the fuck is she?" Her silver eyes sparkled with mischief as she glanced around the castle hall. "Do we have to beat it out of someone first? Can we start breaking things? Oh, please say yes! I volunteer to be the one to administer the beatings and breaking things!"
Tsukune gently massaged his chest. His heart pounded painfully within his chest, and he felt the rush of ancient blood and power as it coursed within his veins. Moka was not too far from where they now stood, of that he was quite certain. He stretched out his thoughts and feelings toward his Beloved Moka. He closed his eyes as he concentrated. Moka, I am here within the castle with Dia, Kurumu, Haruna and Cyrus. Where are you?
Tsukune held his breath. She hadn't responded to him immediately, and he feared that the worst came to pass. He breathed loudly with relief though as he felt her warmth as it slid into both his heart and mind. I am somewhere within the lower bowels of the castle, my Tsukune. Whatever distraction going on outside has everyone occupied, and no one else has even come to check on my 'body'. It appears to be some kind of torture room I find myself in. It probably shouldn't be too hard for you to find, just follow the stale scent of old blood. Please, come quickly my Tsukune. I…I need you.
Tsukune smiled, and felt another gratifying surge of warmth as it coursed through his body. He took that wonderful warm feeling, and held tightly onto it and focused all his senses upon it. He opened his eyes, and met the puzzled expressions of his compatriots. "I know where Moka is!" He announced confidently. "She is somewhere within the depths below us. It is in the deepest recesses of his castle where Lord William likes to torture his victims." He said with distaste.
Diademonica exhaled loudly, and then grinned devilishly. "Well," she started lightly as she cracked her knuckles loudly. "Why don't we do something about that little problem of yours, hmmmmm?" She unfurled her wings, and flapped them a couple of times hard enough to get airborne.
The Cambion glanced down at her compatriots as she pointed her palms toward the floor. "Um, ya'll should move over just a wee bit, this is going to get a little hot!" Her nose scrunched with disgust. "Can't say I really like this dank, dark, depressing castle very much. I suddenly have this overwhelming desire to torch the place and light it up! Whose with me?"
Tsukune blinked. Haruna gulped loudly as she grabbed Kurumu's arm and tugged her closer. "Uh, Tsukune, better do as she says. She has that crazed look in her eyes again! She is about to do something foolish or reckless!"
Tsukune, Kurumu, and Lady Haruna moved out of the way just in time. Dia released all of the furies of hellfire from her open palms toward the floor. She laughed manically while she happily blazed a burning inferno through the stone floor. "Burn you little bastards! Scurry around like the ants you are! Woohoo! Aren't we having fun now! Burn baby, burn! Light it up!"
Tsukune gave Haruna a worried glance. She shrugged. "Meh, she gets like this wasn't she hasn't destroyed something for a while. It will pass, just let her get it out of her system."
They heard a deep guffaw off toward the right as Cyrus padded over toward them still in his hellcat form. You don't know her that well, do you? You think this will pass from just her melting a few blocks? Pah! It would be best to just stay behind her. She will destroy everything that gets in her way, and probably throw in maniacal laughter just to sweeten the deal.
Tsukune and Haruna glanced at each other and gulped again. Perhaps this wasn't the best idea after all…
XXX
Torture Room. Castle Burnhart. Three and a half hours before.
Moka felt quite weary. With her death and resurrection, it had placed a serious strain upon her body. She needed blood quite badly, and despite everything that the magics within the Rosario accomplished, she needed sustenance. While she was mostly healed of all the injuries inflicted upon her, it would do her no good if she starved. She felt a trickle of fear. She wanted so badly to take some of Tsukune's blood, to share that intimate feeling with him. Due to how low she was, would she be able to stop herself from possibly killing him during her feeding?
Several loud slams outside the hallway that led to where she lay drew Moka's eyes toward the door. Something was coming, and it sounded quite big. Perhaps it was something quite angry. She drew her legs closer in, and placed her palms upon the floor. If she reacted quickly enough, maybe she could at least get out of its way and not be slaughtered here like a pig. Moka wasn't sure she had the strength, but she had to try, damn it! If this were the only way she could get to Tsukune, then she would damn well give it her best try!
There was a large explosion just outside the door that led into the torture room. It was powerful and violent enough that it knocked the door loose from its hinges. Bits of something fleshy and disgusting splatted thickly outside the door, a few flecks of the substance found itself not too far onto the floor not far from Moka's bare feet. She stared at it for a moment and cocked her head. It almost looked like…maybe human flesh?
"Damn it, Dia! What the hell is wrong with you? We could have asked that creature for directions! Do you honestly have to blow everything to hell that stumbles into your path?"
"Hey, don't blame me for that one! He was the dumbass who popped out of that dark doorway without announcing himself! What the hell do you expect me to do? 'Excuse me mister slave of this hellhole, can you tell me where we find Moka Akashiya?' Give a girl a fucking break, ok! I got a little excited!"
Told you, didn't I. Aren't you glad you stayed behind her?
Moka blinked in surprise. Could it be? "Tsukune?" She asked hoarsely. "Tsukune, are you out there?"
"Moka?" She heard him whisper tentatively on the other side of the wrecked door. "Moka?" He asked more strongly this time. "Are you in there?"
Moka breathed a tired sigh of pained relief. "Yes, my Tsukune, I am in here!"
"Woohoo! I found her! What kind of prize do I get for this? See? I have a better sense of direction than you thought I had!"
There was an exasperated sigh on the other side of the door. "Just get us in there, would you? You can yuck it up later, okay?"
"I still found her." Diademonica said petulantly.
Moka watched as a silver pair of eyes appeared in the small barred opening. They blinked once. "Yup, got her. Ya'll might want to just stand back a little, this could get messy!"
"Oh, for the love of Vlad, Dia! Just get the damn door open, would you? We still have a madman loose in this castle, or did you forget that little detail?"
"Bitch, bitch, bitch, Haruna!" Diademonica grumbled loudly. "Are you normally this bitchy, or is it just me?"
"DIA!"
"ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT!" The Cambion yelled as she smashed her way through the remains of the door. The remains of the door flew around Dia as she led their group into the torture room. She turned toward Haruna. "Shit, you are so pissy today, Haruna! Is it your time of the month already, or what?"
"MOKA!" Tsukune cried loudly as he dashed toward the prone vampire. He slid to his knees before her, and his arms curled around Moka and gently pulled her toward him into a warm embrace. Her arms effortlessly encircled Tsukune's middle and hugged him to her as tightly as she could. They held each other like this for several seconds, just basking in the glow of each other. Tsukune felt complete, he now had his Moka back!
"Aw, aren't they so cute together! They grow up so quickly, don't they? Think they will let me name the kids?" Someone asked behind them.
Tsukune and Moka released their embrace just as they heard something solid getting smacked pretty hard. Tsukune turned slightly and grinned as he saw Dia rubbed the back of her head as she grumbled loudly under her breath. He turned back toward Moka; his eyes alight with the warmth he felt in his heart. His hand came up and caressed her cheek. "I thought I lost you." Tsukune said heavily.
Moka gave him a weak smile. "For a moment, Tsukune, you did." She pulled his hand away from her face, and brought it toward her chest. Tsukune blushed brightly for a moment, but relaxed when he realized why she did it. His eyes widened as he took in the new large scar upon her chest. His wide eyes found hers as his fingers lightly traced the fresh scar. "What happened?" Tsukune whispered, horrified.
"Burnhart happened." Moka said with contempt heavy within her voice. "He was furious that I didn't just grovel for my life." She grinned savagely. "That, and I just about kicked his ass!"
Tsukune chuckled lightly as he ran his fingers through Moka's silver hair. His eyes gazed above her scar and stopped at the collar that now had only the pathetic remains of a small, shattered chain. He frowned. "Moka, what happened to your Rosary?"
Moka's savage grin vanished and she looked almost…sad? She turned her head slightly, not able to face Tsukune for a moment. "It…it was destroyed, Tsukune. Burnhart destroyed it when he killed me."
Tsukune winced and looked sick. "He, he did kill you then?" He said quietly. When his eyes found hers, there were unshed tears that swam and danced within them. "So, the other Moka…?"
Moka closed her eyes tightly. "She is gone, Tsukune. Now and forever she is an important part of me, just as she was before."
Tsukune felt like someone with a set of brass knuckles had punched him hard in the gut. The gentle, kind Moka Akashiya that had welcomed him selflessly and so quickly became his closest friend was gone forever? He closed his eyes as he fought a loosing battle against the tears. He had failed her! Failed her just when he had been so close! How would she ever forgive him? He never got a chance to even say goodbye! Moka! I am so sorry!
"Tsukune?" Moka asked with quiet trepidation. "She is still here, in my heart." She gently pulled Tsukune's hand back to her chest and placed it over her heart. "It beats again because of her great sacrifice, Tsukune. If she hadn't made the choice, then we both would have been dead at Burnhart's hands! She loved you that much to sacrifice everything so that we could live and be with you."
Tsukune's red eyes cracked open, the tears that had been held in check behind his lids now ran freely down his cheeks. He took his other hand and lightly caressed her cheek again. Her other hand covered his. "I'm sorry I hadn't come sooner, Moka. Perhaps I could have stopped this from-"
Moka lightly squeezed his hand that she still held over her heart. "It had to be done, Tsukune. Being apart was slowly killing us. Why do you think that the power of the Rosario had weakened so much? We both loved you almost exactly the same, Tsukune! She is as much me, as I am her. We are whole again."
Tsukune nodded, and gently pulled his hand from under hers upon her cheek. He moped the tears off his face with his sleeve, and gave her a sad smile. "I, I will get used to it, eventually. It will take me some time though." He frowned lightly as he took in her weaker countenance. "How weak are you, Moka? I know that you must not have fed recently."
Moka gave him a weak smile. "I could use some blood, Tsukune." Her eyes brightened for a second as she glanced at his throat. "Um, Tsukune, could I…"
Tsukune gave her a small smile. "You know, the other Moka didn't ask. You don't have to either, you know."
Tsukune gently pulled her toward him again, and he gave her a gentle kiss upon her lips. She broke the kiss, and her mouth found its way to his waiting neck. He felt the familiar feelings of pain and pleasure that happened whenever Moka bit into his neck. He closed his eyes as he felt her surprisingly gentle sucking at his neck, but she broke off pretty quickly. Her red eyes widened with surprise. "Tsukune? What the hell happened to you? Your blood…it's, it's like nothing I have ever tasted before!"
Tsukune grinned sheepishly, his fangs flashed briefly. "Yeah, well, about that…"
Moka now took a moment to take in the appearance of her Tsukune. It was indeed him, but he was now so much…different. He had silver hair, prominent fangs. He had an incredible aura around him. Powerful. Somehow he now even felt…old? She was greatly puzzled, and then felt a shiver of pleasure as a new power coursed through her veins. Her eyes brightened for a moment. "My Tsukune, what has happened to you?"
Diademonica tapped her foot impatiently and sighed heavily. "Okay, we kind of need to speed this along a bit, you two! You do realize that we ARE in the middle of a hostile castle, ruled by a crazed psychotic vampire, right? You know, I thought I would just mention that, since, you know, we probably should get the HELL out of here before more company arrives!"
Kurumu tittered. "You know guys, we should get out of here. Hey Tsukune, if you are going to carry Moka out of here, could you carry me, too?"
Haruna sighed in exasperation and smacked Diademonica across the back of her head. "OUCH!" Dia said incredulously. "What the fuck, Haruna? What the hell did I do this time?"
The vampire gave the Cambion a dirty look. "You are a bad influence on Kurumu! Do you realize-"
Kurumu had her hands up in supplication. "Whoa, whoa, whoa!" She then put her hands upon her hips. "I'll have you know that I was like this before she ever showed up!"
Tsukune shook his head and rolled his eyes as he turned back to Moka. "Do you need me to carry you?"
Moka found herself blushing. "Uh, no, Tsukune. I can get up on my own quite easily, now." She gave him a sultry look. "I wouldn't mind you carrying me when this is over though. Preferably to a nice quiet bed."
Diademonica clapped her hands once. "Ok kids, save it for the celebration! Once we get Lord Asshole taken care of, you both can rut to your heart's content. Until then, I want to go destroy something. I am getting a little antsy watching you two get all lovey-dovey."
