And the Homecoming Queen is… Ultron!

Laura's POV

"And the Homecoming queen is…"

Suddenly, a giant robot crashes through the gym wall!

"AAAAAAAAH! ULTRON!" our principal yells, running away in terror.

My first thought is that our principal just said Ultron is the Homecoming queen, which I find hilarious. I end up picturing Ultron in a pink dress with a sparkly crown on his head, and almost burst out laughing. Then a whole swarm of robots starts coming through the new hole in the gym wall, and I remember that this is the robot that almost killed off the human race.

"TONY STARK, SHOW YOURSELF!" Ultron demands, his robot minions glaring around the gym menacingly.

"ULTRON?!" Tony yells from the other side of the gym. "YOU SHOULD HAVE STAYED DEAD!" Tony then pushes a button on his watch, hopefully something that will bring him an Iron Man suit, and fast!

Unfortunately, Ultron isn't going to wait for Tony to be ready to fight. Ultron charges at Tony along with a large group of robot minions, while the rest of the robot minions start attacking my classmates!

That's when I realize I have to act. Joe realizes this as well, and since Liberty and Sam are already on their way to help Tony, I quickly teleport Joe to his locker, then me to mine to get our costumes. I realized after Liz almost recognized me in the TV footage of Loki's attack that I needed a costume… but I was too lazy to get one. Then that whole thing with Hysteria happened, and I decided that I needed to hurry up and get a costume already. It's nothing fancy, just a long-sleeve, black athletic shirt, black yoga pants, black shoes, and a black mask that I bought at a Halloween costume store. It's supposed to be like a ninja costume, since that's my superhero name, but I'm worried I look more like a robber. Oh well. People will realize I'm not a robber when I stop this evil robot.

Once we're wearing our costumes (or, in Joe's case, his Awesome Hoodie pulled down low over his face and dress pants,) I quickly teleport us back to the gym, and am glad to see Liberty and Sam are helping a now-suited Iron Man fend off the Ultron-bots. "If you thought Tony was the only superhero here, you're in for a Shocker!" Sam yells. With that, he raises his talisman in the air.

"SAM! DON'T!" Tony yells. "Ultron has the same tech as my suit, which means—"

Sam's lightning bolt hits, but Ultron just laughs! "Thanks for giving me 400% power," he gloats, then fires a huge blast of electricity at Liberty, causing her to both get electrocuted and crash into the nearby wall! Liberty manages to get up, but it takes her a few seconds, and I have a feeling that, if it weren't for her Super Soldier Serum, she might not have gotten up at all.

Meanwhile, Sam starts swaying like he's about to faint, but actually manages to not faint after shooting a lightning bolt for a change. He isn't looking too good though, just kind of swaying around like he's drunk or something. Fortunately, Sam doesn't have to worry about Tony testing him for alcohol, because Tony is, unfortunately, completely surrounded by robot minions that are attacking him!

He's not the only one. Apparently, Ultron doesn't think he needs his entire robot army to take Tony down, because a lot of Ultron's robots are trying to kill my classmates!

"I'm going to help our classmates," Joe says upon noticing this. He runs to the back of the gym, climbs on top of the podium, picks up his bow… and then puts it back down again!

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"The only arrows that might be able to damage robots are the exploding ones, but they would hurt people too," he says, gesturing around to the room that is crowded with both robots and people.

Darn! That means Joe won't be able to hurt the robots, and I certainly won't be able to either. None of my powers can really fight the robots. I mean, teleporting and illusions are great and all, but those powers can't help me punch through steel robots, and as for ice and shapeshifting, powers that might at least slow the robots down, I haven't figured out yet. The only thing my powers are good for are tricking people like Loki does… or maybe tricking robots.

"Joe! I have a plan!" I yell. "Use your net arrows to trap the robots. I'll teleport students outside."

Joe nods and starts trapping the robots, while I teleport students outside. Many of the students are crying, some are even injured. I am able to teleport quite a few people no problem, due to practicing teleporting, but the hundreds of people in the gym is more than just a few, so I start to get tired. And as I start to get tired, I realize another problem. Many of the robots have broken through the nets from Joe's arrows and are closing in on the remaining students!

As Joe shoots more arrows, I frantically try to teleport more students, but I'm getting more and more tired. If things stay the same, I don't know if I can get everyone out. Looking around, I see that Liberty and Sam are punching and kicking the robots, but due to Liberty's injury and Sam's exhaustion, they aren't fighting much better than ordinary highschoolers. Tony at least has his Iron Man suit on now, but it isn't doing much more than protecting Tony, because the Ultron-bots that are surrounding him have pinned his hands down to prevent him from firing energy beams at them. Things are not looking good. We need another hero to help us. Someone like… Anne.

I see Anne walking nearby and looking around at the robots in fear. She starts to take a deep breath… then lets it out in a scream! "STOP HURTING MY CLASSMATES!" she yells at the robots. Her dress tears as her muscles grow, ending with her in her green-skinned Hulk form! "RAAAAAWR! GREEN GIRL SMASH PUNY ROBOTS!" she yells, charging head-first into a group of robots and knocking them over.

I stay still and watch her for a few seconds (well, as still as I can be while dodging evil robots), not sure how much Anne has been training. What if she attacks our classmates as well as the robots? So I stay there for a few seconds, not sure if I'll need to teleport her away from people or not, and am happy to see she's only attacking the robots. I guess she has been training hard. She hasn't really talked to me about her training, and I haven't talked to her about mine. While we're back to being friends again after that whole S.H.I.E.L.D. being on my ass thing, she still isn't thrilled about me having Loki's powers, and refuses to talk about her own powers as well.

While I'm not thrilled that there's still some awkwardness between us, I am thrilled at the awkward expression on Ultron's face when he sees Anne destroying a bunch of his robot minions. I take that as my cue to start teleporting more students outside. Unfortunately, a lot of the students who have been trapped by the robots this long have some nasty scrapes and burns. I try to use this as motivation to keep teleporting students to safety, but I'm really tired.

Then a new problem arises. There are only a few students still left in the gym, but they are completely surrounded by robots! The robots surrounding them put their hands up like they are about to fire energy beams at the students, and I look around desperately for someone to help them. Unfortunately, Anne is now completely surrounded by the robots who have broken free of Joe's arrows. I look around, confused at why Joe isn't firing more, and see him surrounded by robots as well! The robots are pushing them back to where Liberty, Sam, and Iron Man are surrounded by robots as well, meaning it's up to me to save people!

I quickly head over to the students who are about to be vaporized and teleport right to the center of the group. "Hold on!" I yell to everyone, as I attempt to do something very difficult. I wait until right before the robots are about to fire, then I teleport all of the remaining students and myself outside at once!

As soon as I land, my legs give out from under me, and I fall to the ground. All I want to do is lay there, but I have to make sure all the students made it. Standing up shakily, I look around and it seems like I teleported everyone, but I have to be sure. Gritting my teeth, I teleport back inside the school, and am glad to see not a single student without superpowers is left inside the gym! And, as if that weren't good enough news, my plan to destroy the robots worked as well! Because I waited until the last minute to teleport the students, the robots ended up firing at each other and knocking each other offline. About fifty or so robots are now down for the count!

I let out a cheer, knowing that my classmates are safe… then immediately fall to the floor. Crap! I was so busy saving my classmates that I forgot to leave enough energy to save myself! A group of robots starts closing in on me… and then Anne runs over and starts punching them till their wires fall out! Then a blue energy beam lights up the ceiling, and I see Iron Man shooting robots down from the air.

Pulling myself up into a sitting position, I see that, while robots still outnumber my teammates, the numbers are quickly evening out. Iron Man and Green Girl are kicking robot ass, Liberty and Shocker are still standing and managing to take down some robots, and G Wiz is now using his exploding arrows since students aren't in the way. It looks like we'll actually be able to stop Ultron, thankfully. I don't think I could handle even one more robot!

"You've done better than I expected," Ultron says, apparently thinking the same thing. "I thought one wave of robots would be enough to stop you, and the other one could start attacking the city, but I had to send the other one here. Oh well. When life hands you lemons… kill people."

"When life hands you lemons, kill people?" Whaaaat? This is why robots shouldn't try to use human slang. Ultron is just embarrassing himself, like… wait a minute, did Ultron say there's a second wave of robots?

Just as I think this, a second wave of robots starts pouring into the gym! Liberty and Shocker groan, Green Girl screams with rage, and I collapse with exhaustion as the swarm of robots surround me! I'm too tired to fight. This must be the end. I teleported all those students to safety for nothing, because, once the Ultron-bots destroy us, they'll just kill everyone else anyways.

I try to stand up and fight, but my legs collapse under me, and I just fall to the ground again. Then, as if the swarm of Ultron-bots coming through the wall wasn't bad enough, one crashes through the ceiling and starts shooting these weird-looking electrical blasts all over the place! Yep, we are so doomed.

AN: Hey, since you've all been reading this story for a while, I was wondering two things. First, if you could give the story another title, what would it be? I feel like Stark High makes it sound like Tony Stark is in the story a lot, but he's really not, I just couldn't think of a better title.

Second, what do you think would be a good group name for the six heroes? I would like for them to have a cool, original name, not just "Kid Avengers", or something like that, but I can't think of anything. Any ideas?
